I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm a little bit sad I haven't gotten any reviews. I live for them, they make me so happy and help me see if there's issues that need to be dealt with, or to know if people enjoy where I'm going with things. Tgonthefiery...if you're still around, at least say hi, you were always my favorite reviewer!

Shadow wasn't surprised that when she woke up, a very twitchy Plushtrap seemed to be guarding her door. Groaning, she rolled out of bed and changed into her uniform before heading towards her kitchen. When she got to her living room, she snorted in amusement. Nightmare was perched awkwardly in her armchair, his bulk barely fitting. Shadow smiled wryly.

"You know, you coulda just taken that human form you like in our dimension."

Nightmare snorted and stood up.

"I use that when I am hiding. I am not hiding."

Nightmare narrowed his eyes and gave Shadow a look.

"Something has changed in you little one. Your power has increased exponentially. What did you do?"

Shadow growled, shocking Nightmare.

"What did I do? What did YOU do to me?"

Shadow gave a full body shudder.

"Those aren't nightmares I've been having, they're memories. You've been turning me into a monster and sending me after people! Let's not forget that I seem to have met my inner demon, who informed me quite happily what you've been doing to me! It was right, I can't trust you. I can't trust your brother. You two are using me, and what it's told me and showed me about our kind is enough to know you two just want what I can give you when I reach my full potential!"

The temperature in the room dropped as Nightmare stomped forward with a vicious snarl. Thinking quickly, Shadow made a rude hand gesture and grabbed Plushtrap, darting through the darkness and falling on her face backstage in the pizzeria. At the sound of the crash, Freddy came darting back only to stop at the sight of Shadow curled up in a ball with Plushtrap, crying. Not quite sure what to do, he just stood there for a moment before his programming forced him to move forward and crouch down to pull Shadow into his arms, comforting the crying woman. Sighing, Freddy slowly rubbed circles on her back with his paw. Sobbing, Shadow pulled herself closer, hands grabbing onto Freddy's fur so he couldn't let her go.

After a while, Chica came back to see what was going on, only to stop and stare at Shadow sound asleep in Freddy's arms, his eyes closed as well as he took a short recharge. Cooing at the sight, she backed out quietly. A curious Foxy and Bonnie tilted their heads at Chica's wide smile. The chicken clapped her wings together quietly enough that it wouldn't disturb the two behind the curtain.

"Shadow showed up at some point, and she is back there asleep in Freddy's arms. He is also taking a short recharge it seems."

Foxy lifted his eyepatch, showing two wide eyes.

"Yer tellin' me that the lass and the cap'n are napping, when last night the two could nay even look at each other? This I gotta see."

Chica frowned.

"Oh no you don't. You leave them be until they wake on their own, or 11pm comes around!"

Foxy grumbled, while Bonnie snickered. Chica just glared at the two boys, who both ended up in snickers at the look she gave them. At about 10:30, Chica sighed.

"You might as well go check on them Foxy. We need to discuss last night still."

Foxy jumped to his feet and dashed for the stage before skidding to a stop.

"Wait a minute...why am I the one goin' to wake the lass and the cap'n? Ye know how grumpy the cap'n is when he's woken up, and ye never saw how grumpy the lass was in the mornin's."

Bonnie smirked.

"You're the one that wanted to wake them up in the first place fox face."

Foxy grumbled and slowly took the steps, pausing before going behind the curtains. When he pushed his way through, he was met by Freddy's stare, Shadow snoring slightly in his arms. Plushtrap was sitting beside Freddy, holding a book up for him.

"Eh...evenin' cap'n. Chica wanted me to come wake ye and the lass up."

Freddy raised an eyebrow.

"As you can see, I am awake. As for the night guard..."

With that, Freddy dropped Shadow and stood up, ignoring the annoyed growl at his feet. Foxy's eye went wide and he slowly backed away before darting out of the curtains. Puzzled by the odd reaction, Freddy stared after him until he felt something creeping up his legs. Looking down, Freddy let out an alarmed cry at the living shadows slowly climbing up his body and towards his head. Turning sharply at the angry growl beside him, he found himself face to face with a furious Shadow, eyes glowing fiercely.

"Never. EVER. Wake me up like that again. I don't care what the boss would say, I will take you apart and let you sit for a week as just a head. Got it?"

Freddy just nodded frantically. Satisfied, Shadow let the shadows fall away. Leaving him to recover, Shadow threw the curtains aside and stomped down the stairs to sit down at the table with Chica, Bonnie and Foxy with an annoyed huff, followed by a yawn. Putting her head on the table, she ignored the animatronics as they finished up their card game. Freddy came out from behind the curtain and joined them at the table, taking a seat at the head. When he made a sound similar to a throat being cleared, Shadow slowly lifted her head to find herself being stared at by the four of them. Chica, Bonnie and Foxy all looked at her worriedly, but Freddy just looked annoyed. Shooting an annoyed glare right back at him, she sat up and crossed her arms.

"What?"

At the pointed look from Foxy, Shadow sighed.

"I'm sorry for the other night. And last night."

Plushtrap thumped a foot against the table and squeaked at Shadow. With a sigh and an eye roll, she leaned back in the chair.

"I don't know exactly how to explain. I suppose the best I can do is say that my soul was split in half, for lack of better terms. My human half, and my demonic half. I've been...off...because my demonic side was getting stronger, and my human side was slowly dying off, because of something Nightmare and Fredbear were doing to me when I went home to sleep during the day."

Shadow grinned wryly.

"Surprisingly enough, my demonic half really wasn't happy about that. Before I came in last night, I had some weird dream that wasn't a dream. My demonic half and my human half merged, so now my soul is half and half, yet whole. Neither side will become stronger than the other, and I have a higher control over my power."

Shadow snickered.

"Which is exactly why you heard Freddy panicking."

Freddy made a sound that sounded very much like someone choking, and Foxy burst out laughing.

"I told ye it was a terrible idea wakin' the lass up! 'Tis when she really lives up to the demon thing."

Shadow muttered something rude under her breath, coaxing a laugh out of Bonnie and a loud, scolding 'Language!' from Freddy. Looking briefly at her watch, Shadow made a panicked sound.

"Uuh...you guys might wanna get back to your spots like, right now. The guard'll be here any minute. Freddy, you're out today, I'm fixing your dang limp. Not your night until tomorrow anyways. I'll join in Thursday. We'll figure out more details then. Freddy, just head right to parts and services, I'll be there as soon as I settle Mas in. Go, go!"
