Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

Dear diary

Things seem to be getting easier to manage and unfortunately even with the search going on between myself and Kano, we still haven't been able to find Hiyori like we promised Hibiya. It shows how much he must love her, even if he won't admit to it. I don't plan to stop searching and in a few days, I'll talk to police officials about putting up missing persons posters. Hopefully with posters around it will help her find her way back to us but theres no certainty that the police will turn up anything.
