The next morning started just as early as yesterday. The walking dead of students dragged themselves for another day of training hell; the four that had to take Aizawa's summer class last night looked worse than ever. "Oi, Remedials. I don't see your muscles moving." Aizawa had to use his scarf to lift Kirishima's head up.

"I'm sorry; it's just sleep... deprivation..." Mina got her arms up and moving.

"Last night's lessons were..." Kaminari tried to say before he face planted into the ground.

"I told you this was going to be rough." Aizawa whipped at Kaminari, getting him up. He then went on a tirade about how their quirk training worked for each individual, while also tearing into ones that were almost at the failing mark like Ochaco and Aoyama, who were five points away from failing. Them getting stuck by Thirteen really bit into their score.

Dokusei stopped paying attention as he got his arm wraps on with Ragdoll's help. He already knew how his training worked; he just needed to push himself and keep his stomach in him this time. "There you go!" Ragdoll patted his arm. "Good to go! Go kick some rock monster's butt!"

"Thank you, Flaps." He bowed to her and began to walk to his fighting spot. "Hey, Cougar!" He got Pixie Bob's attention. "Ready when you are!"

"I'm going to make you eat dirt!" she yelled at him

"Got to beat me first!" He hung his PE shirt on a low hanging branch, convenient. A pulse of black veins came and went from his chest to his limbs; an abnormal amount of toxins began to flood his system.

The monsters burst out of the ground. There were five of them now, and instead of all of them being hound-like beasts, there were only two that were. One was a huge bipedal bear, with blade-like arms; the other two were decent sized flying rock wyverns, flying around. The hounds were ready to pounce.

"So." Dokusei walked to the ring as it dug into the ground around the area, a safe zone warning for others. "Who's first?"

The bear beast rushed in first, surprising him with its speed. Dokusei ducked underneath the first swing and sidestepped the second; he saw one of the hounds coming up on his flank, and the wyvern soaring towards the opposite. "She clearly kicked it up a notch..." He caught the hound as it tried to jump onto him. Dokusei pushed with a mighty roar and threw the beast to the bear knocking it off balance and grabbed the wyvern by its wing and slammed it to the ground, turning it to dust upon impact. "Weaker than the hounds..." The second hound didn't give him time to think more on this as it charged right into him. His boots skidded across the ground as he wrestled the beast to a stop.

By now the first hound and the bear regained their footing and began to descend upon him. "Yeah she for sure learned from yesterday..." The feeling of something bashing into his back made him realize where the second wyvern went. "Definitely going to change things up a bit..." He tossed the second hound into the first and rolled underneath a bladed arm of the bear, getting right into its rocky belly. He started whaling on it, but the first wyvern came back and rammed into his side. "Fuck!" He tumbled down and kicked the wyvern off him. Before he could get up, however, the second hound knocked him back down and pinned him with its giant paw.

It stared down at him with a rocky smug look. "Oh... You think you won...?" Dokusei muttered. He took a deep breath, veins pulsing as he did so.

Suddenly the paw began to rise, the beast tried to put its weight into it, but Dokusei kept rising. He let out a roar as he pushed the rock monster off of him. As he stood, his body shook as muscle spasms went all over him.

Dokusei took a few deep breaths, getting the shakes under control. He flexed his arms, if they were in pain he couldn't feel it, but all range of motion was there, so he appeared uninjured. "Ok... Need a different strategy..." He got back into his fighting stance; that was the all clear for the monsters to continue the attack.

The bear came first, swinging its meat cleaver of an arm down. Dokusei stepped to the side, performing a crescent kick; the side of his foot pushed up against the side of the rock blade, deflecting it off target, and getting it stuck in the ground.

Both hounds came from behind Dokusei; he back flipped over them, crashing in and breaking the rock arm of the bear. The wyverns soon made their appearance as they both came at him while he was still airborne. They were at both of his flanks, one high, the other low. Dokusei orientated himself to be as flat as possible when they flew by him. When they did, he grabbed the one flying above him and used the momentum of it to twist and throw one down onto the second one, both smashing into pebbles.

The bear took this opportunity to rush to where Dokusei was going to land, and readied its good arm to chop him in half before he could hit the ground. "Not today, Yogi Bear!" He lifted his foot high above him and delivered an ax kick right on the blade. The impact alone cracked the ground underneath them; Dokusei was sent flying as the blade broke in half.

Once he landed, he rushed to the bear before it could recuperate. The bear swung low as it saw Dokusei. The boy jumped over the broken blade and sent a flying side kick right to its face, smashing straight through it.

Dokusei landed and rolled for a few feet, eventually stopping on his back. He breathed in as much air as he could before he could get it all under control. "Fuck..." He slowly rolled onto his forearms, fighting his stomach. "Can the world stop spinning please...?" He put a hand to his mouth, "Ugh... Is this what Ochaco's going through...?"

Tiny rock feet came into his view as his vision focused. Looking up, he saw it was a rock parrot holding a water bottle in its beak. "Oh..." He sat up and took it. "Thanks." He took a few swigs, cooling down as best he could. "Have to give Cougar credit, she definitely upped the difficulty." Suddenly a rock hit Dokusei on the head. Making him drop his water bottle and clutch the back of his head. "Ow, fuck!" He turned to the bird, "The fuck was that for?!" The rock parrot just simply looked away innocently. He threw a rock back at the bird, but it just hopped out of the way. He then swatted at it and it just hopped to the side.

The rock parrot spread its wings, opened its beak, and shook its head side to side, mocking him.

"Next part of your training is to catch the bird without destroying it" Mandalay telepathically relayed him the update. "And of course, keep your toxins up!"

"Great..." Dokusei got up and dusted himself. "Time to work on cardio..." The parrot just sat there tilting its head to the side.

Dokusei dove for the bird; it flew just before he could get a hand around it. He landed with a crash and felt the bird land on his head. "At least you don't make any squawking noises..." He made a quick swipe, but it flew away. "Why do I get the feeling I'm going to make a fool of myself...?"

The bird landed on a tree branch, not too far away, and cocked its head at him.

He sighed. "That's definitely going to be a yes..." Walking underneath the branch, he looked up to the parrot. "Polly want a cracker?" It answered by turning its head to the other side. "No?" He spread his legs slightly. "Alright then, the hard way it is..." And suddenly he jumped up to the branch, grabbing it, and pulling himself up quickly.

The speed at which Dokusei climbed up the branch shocked the rock bird. It managed to dodge his claws from wrapping around it, but only just. It dove down and flew deeper into the forest. "Get back here!" The voice was closer than it should be. Looking back, the rock parrot saw Dokusei hopping from tree to tree. "Dr. Seuss called, he wants his taxidermy back!" He pounced at his objective, but the bird banked left at the last minute, making him hit a tree fairly hard.

Pixie Bob made the bird circle back to see if Dokusei needed medical attention. The bird landed on a nearby branch and saw the tree that Dokusei hit had a big piece of bark ripped from the tree, but no sign of the toxic boy. The rock parrot turned around just in time to see a clawed hand grabbing it. "Got you!" The bird hung its head in defeat. "Now can you get Aizawa...? Because I think I'm go-" He was unable to finish his sentence as he began to fall. His world turned to black well before he hit the ground.

Dokusei's eyes fluttered open, seeing a tiled ceiling, hearing the drone of an AC unit kicking on, and felt the wet, cold rag on his forehead. "I'm inside...?" He slowly pushed himself off the couch he laid on. His arms were heavy and had a tingling numbing sensation up to his elbows; his legs were the same but the numbness was up to his calf. "guessed I passed out..." He looked around and saw an IV going into his arm. "Must have given them quite a scare." The bag was almost empty. "Hopefully that's only the first one..."

"Good, you're awake." Aizawa walked through the door. "Gave Pixie Bob a scare with you dropping like that." He walked over and did a check up. "How are you feeling?"

"Thirsty and heavy."

"As expected for someone passing out from heat exhaustion." He handed him a bottle of Sportade. "What happened?" He took a seat next to Dokusei. "You passed out fairly fast in only the first few hours of your training, and Pixie said you didn't emesis."

"I have acute sensitivity to heat." Dokusei took a gulp of the drink. "I usually counteract this by using a toxin to expand my blood vessels and expand the pores in my skin, but I go through water a bit faster than normal and with the other toxins going through me, I wouldn't be surprised if I had more unintended side effects." He suddenly let out a burp and quickly covered his mouth. "'cuse me."

Aizawa thought for a bit then nodded. "We'll give you more water breaks and I'll have Pixie Bob make sure you drink all of it."

"Yes sir."

"You'll have the rest of the day off; focus on recovering for now." He got up and stood there. "Any questions?"

"How long was I out?"

"Thirty minutes at most."

"Thank you sir."

"I'll have one of the Pussycats bring you a change of clothes and get the IV out of you." He made his way to the door. "So stay put till then."

With that, Dokusei was alone for the moment. By the time the door opened again, the IV was empty, and he finished his drink. Pixie Bob came in with a set of clothes and a med kit. "Good to see you're up!" She laid the clothes on the arm of the couch and sat next to him. "Now let's get that IV out of you and you can go change!" As she patched him up, she continued talking. "You had me worried there; if I wasn't so focused on you, you probably would have been seriously hurt!" She pulled out a big bandaid and quickly pulled out the port. "Anyway, how are you feeling?" She covered the hole before he could register that she pulled out the port.

Dokusei flexed his hands. "My hands are tingling a bit and so are my toes, but other than that, I'm much better." He bowed his head. "Thank you for taking care of me."

She paused for a moment. "It's nothing..." She put her hands to her lap. "It was kinda my fault to begin with..."

"What do you mean?" As far as he saw it, it was an unfortunate circumstance.

"I was so sucked into beating you, I didn't think about you not finishing your water or giving you a longer break." She started putting the med kit back together. "It's kinda my fault that this happened..."

Dokusei let out a chuckle that quickly turned into a full laugh.

"What's so funny!?"

"My, she was right about you; you care way too much about people!"

"Who?!" He laughed some more. "Quit laughing at me!"

"My mother told me a lot how little Ryoku would cry or get upset when someone was hurt or how much she would get into fights to stop bullies for hurting some other kid!" He let out another round of laughter.

"How do you...? Who is your mother!?" Pixie Bob demanded. She would not be humiliated further by some brat!

Dokusei let out a few more chuckles before he got himself under control. "My mom used to babysit you when your dad worked late; she lived right across the hall from you."

"You're Aunty Nishi's son?" She recoiled in shock, but as she looked at him, she felt the sudden urge to ram her head into a wall. "Why didn't I see it sooner! You look so much like her with your eyes!" She put her paw gloves over her face. "God I'm such an idiot...!"

"To be far it's been at least fifteen years since you've seen each other, if not more, and she's a Sumiteru now."

"I haven't seen her since I gone into middle school, so closer to t-." She stopped herself from saying twenty. "So how is Higa? When did she come back?

"She's happy, and from what she told me, she went back to the US for a funeral for one of her aunts and stayed while trying to get her part of the will sorted." Dokusei was summarizing here. "When she went back to Japan, you were already going to UA and her original apartment was already in different hands and you had moved as well."

"Why didn't she try to contact me...?"

"She felt that her part in your life was over and didn't want to distract you from your studies, so she focused on herself and dad."

"So from the fact that she's a Sumiteru now, she married Robun."

"Didn't know my parents knew each other for that long." It was Dokusei's turn to be shocked. "I thought they met when my mom got back..."

"Higa and Robun were friends in high school." Pixie Bob put a finger to her chin. "My best bet, they reconnected when Higa came back and their relationship blossomed from there."

"Sounds like it."

"Can you give me her number? I would definitely love to catch up with her!" She was nearly on top of him when she asked, with stars in her eyes.

"I see no harm in it." He leaned away a bit. He could see that even with the stars, her eyes had a hunger in them. "You're a bit too close for my comfort."

"Sorry..." She quickly retreated. "I'm coming off as desperate, aren't I...?"

"Horribly so."

"Ouch, you're definitely Higa's son..."

"Can I ask you something?" He quickly found a pen and paper.

"Sure."

"Do you just want to be married, or do you actually want a relationship?" He began to write down his mother's phone number.

"I just don't want to be alone when I'm old and gray..." She messed with her bangs a bit, not looking at him as she answered.

He stopped momentarily. "Well the way you're acting," he went back to writing. "it will scare off any potential suitors." He handed her the paper. "So slow down; if you take your time with a guy, he'll be yours before he even knows it."

She takes the paper with some hesitation. "Thanks..." She looked at it with a warm smile. "It sounds like Higa really raised you well." He nodded at that. "Welp, I got to get back to it, and you should probably take a shower, but not too hot now, don't want you passing out again." She grabbed the med kit and walked out, but not before stopping just outside of the room. "Oh, and to whoever you end up with, she's going to be one lucky girl!"

The face of Ochako flashed before his eyes, "Now go get her, Tiger!" along with Mina's encouragement coming back. "Yeah... I hope so..." The heat from his face made him turn away from Pixie Bob, who let out a small laugh as she left.

Fifteen minutes passed when Dokusei finally got out of the shower. He stayed in his room for the next few hours till dinner began; he then headed to the mess hall. "Doku!" A pink blur nearly tackled him, not even one foot into the room. "You had us so worried! Where were you!?"

"In my room." He gave Mina a pat on the shoulder. "Sorry for the scare, but I'm fine. Aizawa said to take it easy for the rest of the day." He went and grabbed a water bottle.

"What happened?" Ochako asked as she put some ingredients on a table. "It looked like you passed out. Pixie Bob was so scared when she came running to Aizawa with you on one of her rock beasts."

Dokusei rubbed the back of his neck. "I fainted due to heat exhaustion... I'll be getting longer and more frequent water breaks starting tomorrow."

"Good to see you're ok, ribbit." Tsuyu commented.

He nodded to her as he grabbed a waterproof apron. "Ok, give me any dishes that need cleaning. I'm not sitting out on a chance to help out a bit!" He put it on before anyone could protest and was handed a dirty cutting board from Bakugo. "Thank you, Short Fuse."

"Shut it, Reject."

After a nice and filling meat and potato stew, the class was outside and night had fallen. "Now then," Pixie Bob started, "our stomachs are full and the dishes are clean!"

"You're welcome," Dokusei muttered.

"It's time for the-"

"THE TEST OF COURAGE!" Mina interrupted, jumping into the air as she shouted.

"Unfortunately, and it pains me to say this, but the remedial bunch are having a review lesson with me." Mina suddenly stopped and looked at Aizawa. "Starting right now."

"NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!" Mina's face contorted into horror. Soon Mina, Sato, Kaminari, and Kirishima were wrapped up in Aizawa's scarf and dragged away. "No please! Just one round! I want to play just once!" Mina begged as she was carried away.

Dokusei just waved to them. "Don't worry, guys, you won't be missing much." The test of courage was roughly a thirty minute scary forest gauntlet that both classes took turns scaring the other class. About midway through the forest path was a wall with cards on it holding the students' names; the scaring group couldn't touch their victims, but they could use their quirks.

"You'll be put into pairs," Ragdoll said, "The winners will be who scared the most and how creative they were!"

"So a bacchanal in the darkness..." Tokoyami said.

"Pretty much, Edge Lord" Dokusei patted his back.

"Now let's draw lost!"

There were eight groups: 1. Tokoyami and Shoji, 2. Bakugo and Todoroki, 3. Jiro and Hagakure, 4. Yaoyorozu and Aoyama, 5. Ochako and Tsuyu, 6. Dokusei and Sero, 7. Orjio and Mineta, and 8. Midoriya and Iida.

Most were happy with who they were paired up with, like Dokusei and Sero. "Yo!" Sero gave his partner a fist bump. "Looks like we're a team for now."

A smirk was on Dokusei's face as he returned the fist bump. "Seems so."

Only two didn't like who they were paired with. "Aoyama! Please switch with me!" Well Mineta just wanted to be with Yaoyorozu, probably thinking he could be her knight in shining armor.

"Oi tail guy, switch with me!" And Bakugo just hated Todoroki's guts.

A few minutes passed when Ochako's team went through and Dokusei was waiting his turn. "Alright! It's the venomous kitten and the tape kitten!" Pixie Bob was the gatekeeper, as she waved on through Dokusei and Sero.

"Might want to work on the nicknames, Cougar." Dokusei walked right past her, hands on the back of his head. It took a lot to scare him, no matter how many haunted houses Mina dragged him to.

"You're one to talk!" she snapped at him.

Sero jumped at Pixie Bob's ferocity. "Sheesh... Why must you do that to her?"

He shrugged. "I'll stop when she quits going after guys who are barely legal." He looked at him. "And besides she hasn't really told me to stop; she wants to beat me first."

"That sounds more backwards than it should."

"It probably is." Dokusei looked around, "Weird..."

"What?"

"They should have jumped us already..." Then the whiff of burning wood hit him. "Class 1-B doesn't have any fire quirk users..." He looked towards the tree canopy, barely making out black smoke flowing through the sky. "...and Todoroki wouldn't let his fire loose like that, plus it's more west than east..." He looked to Sero. "Something is wrong."

"Everyone!!! " Mandalay telepathically called out. "Two villains have invaded the area! It's possible there's more in the shadows!" The two looked at each other, Sero scared out of his mind, while Dokusei let out a snarl. "Those who are able, fall back to the facility immediately! Do not engage the enemy; retreat above all else!"

"Damnit..." Dokusei tightened his fists. "I'm going up ahead, help anyone that needs evac."

"I'll head to the facility." Sero took a step. "What will you do if you encounter a villain?"

"As long as I don't use my quirk, I should be fine, but as long as I focus on getting away, I shouldn't get into too much trouble." Dokusei bolted down the path. "Now get your ass out of here!"

"Right!"

"Ochako... Mina... Itsuka..." The rest of his friends flashed before him. "Please be alright...!"
