Governor Gregg Abbot was rolled onto the podium every media outlet in Texas was here. There's been confusion and misinformation for the past 18 hours ever since Texas lost contact with Wider US and world. The state government had been unusually quiet during that time; some say they weren't even in the state when the bright light covered Texas.
"The people of Texas, you- I- I'm just gonna say it bluntly. It's official we've lost contact with the U.S, we believe we've been sent to a different world." Suddenly camera's were taking pictures at this announcement.
A journalist asked "Do we know where we are exactly or who are our what's happening at the Arkansas-Texas-Louisiana border?"
"We do not know where we are exactly but what we do know is that an unknown group attempted to attack our towns on the eastern border. To those of you living in the edges of our great State you all can agree something's changed. Local police, SWAT, and the Air National Guard have been able to repel these unknown invaders. The 36th Division of the Army National Guard along with several other US army divisions have been stationed at the border for defence not crossing the border.
As such as Governor of Texas, I declare a state of emergency, the reserves will be mobilized including any former veterans of the past 25 years." Camera flash increased by tenfold as what remained of the internet went insane. "That is all." The governor finalizes before walking off of the podium.
Leiforia, Leifor
12:30 hours, 19/07/1638
Prime Minister Vladimir Abdulaev Abisov walked onto the podium. A place where the entirety of Leifor will be listening.
"You may have heard rumors of what's happening down south near the border with Sonal. Let me clear them. Yes there has been an invasion. Not by Sonal but by an unknown group of people. They have spelt Leiforian blood has been spilt by them. In response the army has been mobilized, the Navy will find who these attackers are and not only drive them out but teach them a lesson in humility! We will take their barbarian lands and force them to give up any luxuries they have!" Vladimir Abisov yelled into the mic. Garnering a nationalistic cheer, as camera flashes filled the air.
Little did they realize an SR-71 Blackbird was flying over them at 16 miles above them. Who were taking pictures as part of its mission.
Its mission continued as if it flew northward. Taking pictures every few seconds gaining lots of data as it was flying over Mach 3.
Leiforian Federal Army "Khleb" Division Southern border with Sonal.

The 10th "Khleb" Combined arms Division was arriving near the last known location of the 117th Cavalry brigade of their division. 9000 men marched down the cobblestone road leading towards where the coast of Southern Leifor was. In the vanguard of the line 2 male SK-3 (Sukhoputnyy korabl') Landship tanks with a rotating turret with 150 mm barrel and 4 smaller 30 mm cannons placed around the sides where the entrances were.
His engine was capable of outputting 300 horsepower via the Leiforian 300 horsepower Oil powered engine. These engines were simpler to use as no magic was needed to power it which allowed more energy to be directed towards the guns. His heavy weaponry such as the 150 mm cannon used magic batteries to shoot due to the fact it was lighter and can pack punch in comparison to their gunpowder based counterparts. It has 10 mm stainless steel armor taken directly from Muish tanks. It held a crew of 1 commander, 1 driver, and 5 gunners fully crewed.
The males were escorted by 4 female SK-3 Landships; it held 1 main 100 mm cannon and where the smaller 30 mm cannons were MTP-3(Tyazhelyy Pulemet) Heavy Circuit guns capable of holding 1000 rounds and firing at 300 rounds per minute.
Behind them were 12 OL-10 gun carriages. They held 150 mm cannon with a range of 5 kilometer and used magic batteries but if it became necessary could switch out the ammunition for actual gunpowder based shells.
Following them were 9000 Leiforian troops equipped with Type POV-12 (Odinochnyy Vystrel) a Gunpowder Bolt action rifle, others were equipped with the Type MLP-3 (Legkiy Pulemet) Light Circuit gun capable of holding 300 rounds in a miniature magic battery and was able to fire 150 rounds a minute. Others held the PLB-3 (Legkiy Puleme) Light Machine Gun. A gunpowder based variant of the MLP-3 holding 300 rounds.
Few held the PVPP-1 (Vysokoskorostnaya protivotankovaya pushka) a High Velocity Anti Armor weapon capable of punching through 15 mm of Stainless steel. Including the MVPP-1 (Vysokoskorostnaya protivotankovaya pushka) the magical variant although that one was more common than its gun powered equivalent due to weight to fire power ratio..
It was quiet in the green forest as the Division approached the town of Velenomlesu holding around 1000 inhabitants. It was 10 miles away from the last known location of the 115th Cavalry Brigade. The army will rest there for tonight before continuing on their march.
When suddenly several of the lead SK-3 landships male and female, exploded followed by the rear tanks trapping them as the heavily forested terrain prevented the rest from moving off the road. A volley of artillery shells flew down as the tell tell sign of whistling was heard as it came down. The troops in the Van guard were caught off guard as a volley of machine gun fire came towards them from the forest and many attempted to take cover behind the tanks or run into the forest for cover from small arms fire. Some were able to get to their destination but not all.
The remaining Landships began providing cover fire towards the direction of the enemy to buy time for the Gun Carriages to get off the road. Officers were yelling into their manacomms giving out orders. While other officers were preparing to give cover spell support with their spell book.
One 1st Lt. Alexander Valichitev had his spell book out as he took cover behind a tree. His troops under his command were waiting for the first visual contact of the enemy. He began reciting the ancient modernized spells in the book after finishing it a large multilayered magic circle appeared above him when he chose a spot in the forest where the largest concentration of fire was coming from.
Then enemy fire stopped and the enemy was confused at what was going on.
A large droning could be heard from the magic circles as it charged up when seconds later a beam of yellow light flew towards his target destination and exploded in a bright yellow explosion followed by a dust cloud from the explosion. Yelling could be heard as the enemy soon realized what the magic circles did.
Another officer activated a volley to suppress fire against them when the volley fired several times followed by enemy artillery firing onto the location the enemy was forced to retreat. The officers blew their whistles signaling a charge across the road right into enemy gunfire.
As they were charging the enemies confusion disappeared and soon opened fire with the LMGs as an enemy tank burst through the trees. The soldier wall stopped in their tracks and soon afterwards began to open fire along with anti tank guns onto the Abrams.
The bullets simply ricocheted off the armor as the anti tank guns tried to break through the Abrams advanced armor. Yellow streaks of light and magic circles fired from the MVPP-1. Nothing was working, as the Abrams open fired, tearing through a group of soldiers hiding in a crater as cover as more Abrams appeared with infantry escorting them.
Several explosions rocked the troops as several F-16 Cs and Ds dropped their payloads onto the Leiforian positions who were now digging trenches.
Several dozen explosions rocked the trenches destroying them forcing the division to retreat any attempts at counter attacking was met with defeat. 2 days later the Leiforians were kicked out of the county completely as they retreated to the nearby town and County of Gora. They began building trenches, AA guns, artillery. As several Wyvern Overlords and Ravnodenstvites VN-2 arrived.
The VN-2 is a biplane based off of Mu's Marin fighters. It held an MLP-3 Circuit gun and the ability to carry 50 lb bombs. It was able to fly at about 150 kilometers an hour making them equal to their Marin counterparts. It was able to fly at a height of 5 kilometers at full load.
Not only that, an NT-1, was a biplane bomber capable of going at 125 km/h at a height of 5 Kilometers, was able to hold up 500 lbs of bombs. Had a crew of 6. 1 pilot, 1 Navigation officer, and 3 gunners. The gunners were equipped with the MTP-3 Circuit Gun.
Taking to the skies the 20 Wyvern Overlords, 20 VN-2's and 10 NT-1s began flying in formation towards their targets. Their mission is to gain air superiority and destroy enemy forces with their bomber payload.
Their target was in view; they were 5 kilometers away; that distance will be quickly closed in only a few seconds; they were about to release their payloads when several rockets came out under the tree cover and hit the engines of the bombers and blew up the VNs.
In their place 6 F-16 Cs gained air superiority as 6 B1-B "Lancers" started bombing their own targets at supersonic speeds. Leading to the complete annihilation of 10th Combined Arms division.
Within the next 3 days 100 miles of territory next to the Texan border would be taken and would only increase as they started to understand where they were in this new unknown world.
