A/N: As an update, there is a reddit post by u/Drechenaux with the deleted scene in it, if you couldn't use the justpasteit link.

Also, thanks for the feedback on that scene- the metaphors might've been too much but that's just how I roll Remenis9. Also, I won't be writing more of those, at least I don't plan to, given that that scene was there because it was an important point in the story.

Also, based on this site's guidelines, such a scene would be MA not just M rated, meaning I'm sure that it would be taken down regardless of rating if I posted it here.

Enri and her father, Daniel, were chatting when Thomas approached them.

"Suzuki-sama is coming here," Thomas said.

"Alright, thanks for the hea-" Enri was about to say when Suzuki and Albedo appeared right next to them. She then sighed. "Could you maybe give us a bit more of a warning?"

"Ah, sorry," Suzuki said.

"Ah, I didn't mean you of course- I was talking to Thomas-san here!" Enri clarified.

"Ah, what brings you here?" Daniel asked. "No trouble, I presume?"

"No, no," Suzuki said. "I just wanted to ask, is the village busy or anything in the afternoon?"

"Not with anything special," Daniel replied.

"I was thinking of hosting a feast," Suzuki said. "You see today is my birthday and I wanted to have a little celebration here, if you wouldn't mind."

"Mind? We would be honored!" Daniel said warmly.

The reason why Suzuki was a bit hesitant was because he knew that in this world, birthdays were not something common folk celebrated. As such, he didn't want to come off as snobby or anything like that.

"I just needed to flesh out some details," Albedo spoke up. "Namely, regarding how many people will be here, and where I can set the party up..." It was rare for her to talk at these kinds of moments, but she did have to do a good part of the planning herself. She could've asked some of the Elder Liches to do it, but she wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for her darling's party.

Especially after what had happened last night.

Granted, Albedo was certainly ecstatic that it happened, but she was still confused as to what had caused Suzuki to finally want to take her. Had it been because it was his birthday? He had called it his 'birthday gift' so to speak. Or had she been wearing something that really turned him on? Had all her hard work finally been noticed? Or was he happy for some other reason?

So, would he only make love to her once a year on his birthday then? She wanted to do it far more frequently than that.

The only real thing that she could tell was different last night compared to their other interactions was that Suzuki kept talking about his mother. Was that it? Did Suzuki have a mother complex?

Albedo did feel as if Suzuki sometimes behaved like a child in the sense he seemed to want to run away from certain things. Granted she thought nothing less of him because of this.

As it was, Albedo didn't even know that the Supreme Beings had parents in the first place. It was certainly something worth investigating.

Perhaps she should find out what kind of perfume Suzuki's mother wore? And what kind of dress she preferred? It was possible that if she imitated those things, she would end up getting it more frequently.

But, in the end, Suzuki was Supreme Being. It was her job to serve him with all she had regardless of what he did. To even demand anything of him was in itself heresy...

And then she remembered something- Suzuki had once told her that only those who married should have intercourse with each other. And yet, he took her last night. What did that mean?

Suzuki was the ruler of an area, being the mayor, so theoretically speaking all he had to do to marry them was declare it. He could do so with his authority as a Supreme Being as well. So had he tacitly married her?

Albedo would've preferred to have some sort of ceremony and a ring to commemorate the occasion, but she was also happy this way- unless, it was possible that Suzuki no longer cared about that rule?

After all, if the Supreme Ones said that black was white, then it was so. They could change their laws on a whim, for they were creatures not bound by laws. Their words superseded even their earlier words.

Only thing was Albedo was not sure which of the two things were true.

"Let me show you where you can set it up!" Enri said, snapping Albedo out of her thoughts.

"Ah, right, there were also some things I wanted to ask about the ranch," Albedo said, the gears in her head turning as she pondered the recent business they had opened with the Ignonick Ranch.

"Alright!" Enri said and bounded off with Albedo.

When the two of them were out of earshot, Dan said, "So, someone had a nice night, huh?"

Suzuki stammered. "W-What?"

"Oh, I can tell you've got that glow around you, you know, that sudden spring in your step," Dan said and smirked. "So, I'm guessing one of two things happened- either you got laid either for the first time, or she agreed to marry you. I don't see a ring on her finger so..."

"Ah, right," Suzuki said, his face now crimson.

"Ah, don't take it the wrong way!" Dan said, waving his hand, suddenly worrying that he might've offended Suzuki. "Just a bit of ribbing between men, that's fine isn't it?"

"Y-Yeah," Suzuki said.

He had seen guys act like that during his old life, though he usually wasn't a part of it. Mainly because he never had had a girlfriend before.

"So, are you thinking about popping the question soon?" Dan said. "I know it isn't really my place to ask this but-"

"Uh, I don't know honestly," Suzuki said.

"Well, listen, Suzuki-dono," Dan said, now more serious. "I know that you're far more important than me, and you've seen things I haven't- but you're also a bit younger. Now, I don't know much about how nobles live their lives, but I do know this- if you really like her, you should go ahead with it. And I've seen the way she looks at you- many men would give up massive sums of money for a woman to look at them like that."

"It's just that-" Suzuki was unsure of how to explain what was stopping him. However, he had been struggling with these feelings for a really long time- and the fact of the matter was that he had had no one to share them with. There was probably no one in this world who could understand him. The closest friend he had would maybe be Nfirea, though the boy would have no experience in this kind of matter.

As for Dan- Suzuki liked the guy, but he wasn't exactly too close with him. Then again, who else could he talk to about something like this? At least when it came to family matters, Suzuki considered Dan to be somewhat experienced.

"Let's put it this way-" Suzuki began. "-I had a very good friend a long time ago. Albedo is that friend's daughter. That friend isn't there anymore, so I feel like I should be taking care of her- but making a move on her seems... disrespectful. As if I'm doing something I shouldn't."

"Your friend's daughter?" Daniel asked. "You don't look that much older than her."

Right. Albedo was technically just a couple of years old given when she was programmed into Yggdrasil- worryingly, Suzuki wondered if that made him a lolicon?

No wait, she was 'created' as an adult and so would be ageless, right?

The face of Peroroncino flashed in his mind.

"You don't understand- she's actually a three thousand year old vampire who's stuck looking like when she was transformed at a young age, so it's okay!"

"Yeah, my 'friend' was a bit older than I was," Suzuki said, guessing that he'd have to say that. "And the two of us were close- very close. In a way- I would otherwise almost see Albedo as a niece or goddaughter. And, he's not around anymore so I can't even know his opinion on this..."

This still left out the part where she was programmed to love him- but there was no way he could get that across to anyone without sounding crazy.

"Oh, well," Daniel said, rubbing his neck. "That is a bit of a doozy there- I mean, the closest thing I've ever experienced is when my cousin Charlie was in love with his best friend's sister. I guess that would be hard..." He then sighed. "But, I know that she cares for you. I can see that plain as day. Do you also like her?"

"Yeah," Suzuki said.

While he did love his friends from Yggdrasil, in truth, there was no one he had ever gotten as close to as he did with Albedo. There were things that he could not discuss with his online friends, after all.

And, journeying alongside her all this time had ended up with him opening up his heart to her in a way that he hadn't to anyone save his mother. Though it was always her who saved him, he vowed to himself that he would take care of her even if it meant putting his own life on the line.

"Well, you're a far smarter man than me," Dan said. "I'm sure you'll figure it out. I've actually been meaning to ask you something- what do you think about that boy, Nfirea?"

"Nfirea? He's a great alchemist- a genius even," Suzuki said.

"Not that, I mean, as a person, how'd you rate him?" Dan asked.

"He seems like a good man," Suzuki said. "Not that I know him too well..."

"Got it, got it," Dan said, scratching his chin as if wondering about something.

Albedo took down details for the upcoming party.

Albedo was the equivalent of an entire administrative department in her own right- but today she found herself fumbling slightly. It was nothing major- a few spelling errors here or a stutter while speaking, but even these were unnatural for her.

The reason was that she couldn't help but replay the events of last night over and over again in her head.

Before, she thought that if she was just satisfied once she would be relaxed a bit, but now that she had had a taste of paradise she wholeheartedly wished to enjoy it again.

If anything, she was even hornier now than she was before.

Also, while it had been fun, she couldn't help but feel that last night's activities ended... prematurely for her. Not that she was disappointed, no, it had been better than anything she had ever imagined. She just wished it could've lasted longer.

That said, it could not be helped- Suzuki was a mage and would not have the stamina of someone like Albedo even if he was level one hundred. Still, perhaps there were ways that this could be improved upon?

For example, that Ring of Immortality in the Kingdom. She had heard of its effects, and combined with the Ring of Sustenance it could perhaps work wonders in that department.

Was it even possible that the ring could work even if one didn't wear it on one's fingers, but... somewhere else? She would love to experiment with that.

Another thing was that she felt that Suzuki was working far too hard.

For example, many of her plans needed people to be moved over long distances, for which one had to use the Gate spell, requiring Suzuki to do so. He had even ran out of mana one time, though this was because he had also spent the day experimenting with other spells as well.

Albedo hated that he had to do so. She blamed herself for not being able to think of a plan that didn't need his help. She also blamed others such as Fluder and Camula for not being skilled enough to use spells like Greater Teleportation which would ease her master's burden.

Perhaps if Suzuki had listened to her suggestion about farming the Minotaur King's skin, they could develop scrolls with those spells, but this would still require his input. And if he had refused to do so, Albedo assumed there was a good reason for it.

While she personally disliked Shalltear, it would've been good if that brat was around if only to ease Suzuki's burden.

As it stood, in her opinion, Suzuki should have to do nothing but give a general outline of his vision, and Albedo would work on it without him having to lift a finger (and ideally use most of his energy and time to mount Albedo). A Supreme Being should not have to work as a glorified magical taxi service.

There was even the possibility that using his mana caused severe mental fatigue, which could adversely effect both his performance and libido.

Albedo hated for all that to happen, but there was little in the matter that she could do.

Perhaps she should try and steal the Ring of Immortality? The Kingdom had already lost one of its treasures- and with that girl now as a collaborator it would be easy...

No... such a thing would cause long term problems right now. She couldn't go along with that...

"So, what do you think?" Enri asked, snapping Albedo out of her train of thought again.

Albedo hadn't actually been paying attention to the last few lines that Enri had said. She had been too preoccupied replaying last night's events in her head. Not at all behavior fitting of one such as her. "Ah, could you repeat that please?"

Enri was describing how the Ignonick business was running. Albedo surveyed the large ditch they had dug in the ground, and reasoned that the conditions of the 'ranch' were up to the mark.

The Elder Liches surrounding it gave her reports, but she felt that for something like this she should survey it herself once just to be sure everything went smoothly.

"All seems to be in order," Albedo said.

"Great!" Enri said.

"Now, onto the party," Abledo said.

There were several things that needed to be decided. Foremost amongst was who would the guest list be?

Since it was going to involve the villagers, it would not be appropriate to invite high-ranking people normally, but it was the celebration of her master's birthday, and in her opinion anyone invited should have felt delighted at being invited. However, many would not see it so.

Suzuki had not mentioned anything regarding what he wanted from the party. He had already ordered food to be made- though the amount needed might need to be increased. She couldn't possibly let the food run out at an event like this.

In under a minute, she had already calculated the necessary supplies needed and who she had to contact to get everything done.

"Enri, this is what I need," Albedo said.

Albedo did not think to highly of Enri- for one, she was just a village girl with little leadership ability. Still, if Suzuki entrusted her, he must've seen some potential in the girl.

"Understood," Enri said, once she had comprehended everything. "One thing, Albedo-dono, um, the two drivers we sent off to deliver the Ignonick ranch's goods have returned- should they also be included in the party?"

Albedo thought about it- she was unsure of a few people who should or shouldn't be invited- Fluder was among them.

She hated to burden Suzuki about something like this- and it was yet another reminder that she had been mistaken to suggest conquering the Kingdom a few months back. They did not have enough reliable personnel to get things done. She had barely made headway in training some Elder Liches for administrative tasks. If they had started a country, they might've well seen it ruined due to a staffing shortage.

"So, how's it going?" a voice she recognized called out.

"Suzuki-sama, these are the preparations I've planned," Abledo said, turning around.

Albedo then began describing things at a pace that Suzuki had difficulty following, but felt that he got the gist of it down. "Alright, I'll leave it to you then."

"Ah, regarding the guest list," Albedo said. "Should Fluder-san also be invited?"

Suzuki thought about it- thing was Fluder was busy nowadays, and he doubted he would enjoy being at a party like this. Of course, if invited, the man would come running over without any hesitation because it was Suzuki's birthday, but Suzuki felt it would be a waste of Fluder's time. "No, it's fine."

Of course, there was a chance that the old man might felt excluded at having not been invited, but there were also several other people who hadn't been invited. Then again, it would feel very crummy if you were the only one not invited to a night out with your coworkers, for example. Fluder did seem to hate social gatherings though, so he might be the type to see that as a blessing.

"So... let's just avoid telling him then for now, alright? If it's necessary, we'll say that he was on an important mission at the time and I'll give him a slice of cake later or something along those lines." As far as Suzuki could recall, Fluder was indeed busy at this time, putting down an armed rebellion against Six Arms. If he wanted to, he could've sent a Death Knight and Elder Lich to deal with the problem with ease, but people knew and feared who Fluder was in a way that they would not really understand what a Death Knight could do.

"Understood. How about the people we hired to deliver the Ignonick parts to E-Rantel?" Albedo asked.

They were technically not villagers- though they did work for the village. Suzuki likened them to be contractors, who would usually be excluded from company events such as these. However, that had often seemed rather cruel to Suzuki back in his own world. He wanted to create an organization with tolerable working conditions- not a Black Company like the one Herohero worked at. And anyway, two more mouths were not too much to feed. "Ah, let's let them join the feast."

"It will be done," Albedo said.

"Also I just wanted to see how the Ignonick were doing," Suzuki said. He was no expert in rearing animals, but the idea of running a farm was a novel one to him. It was also originally his idea so he wanted to see it succeed.

All the animals were just as docile as he had imagined them. They were arranged in a large pit with walls high enough so that none of them could climb out. A group of Elder Liches surrounded the area, one of them holding a staff that would let them bring sunshine to the area. Food would be dumped into the pit every day, and waste would also be shoveled out once a day, where it would be used as manure in the surrounding fields.

A select number of them were picked for slaughter every couple of weeks, and a short distance away villagers were doing things such as tanning their hide or supervising undead while they did so.

The ranch was a bit of a ways off from the village, out of a need to keep the undead working it a secret. The undead near Carne now outnumbered the living two to one, and Suzuki was unsure of how he would explain this to anyone who asked.

It was all extremely efficient- though that was only to be expected of something designed by Albedo. However Suzuki was slightly concerned that the animals might be negatively effected by being clumped so close together with very little space in between them. He had heard of the awful conditions chickens were trapped in back in his own world and how it affected the quality of their meat- but he had yet to see how it affected the Ignonick. As it was, they all just looked at him lazily.

They certainly looked content enough, and would probably remain so unless they came into contact with water.

"Alright then!" Suzuki said. "Everything's good here!"

"I am sorry to ask this of you," Abledo said, eyes downcast. "But, Suzuki-sama, I need for you to open a few more Gates today."

"No problem!" Suzuki said. If anything, he was actually quite proud that his skills were put to use in some way, even if it was just for transportation. Albedo seemed to dislike this, which he could perhaps understand. It was hard asking the CEO of a company to do something trivial, like write his own email. But, it was a way for him to contribute to their affairs, so Suzuki did not mind doing it at all.

Another way to look at it was that they weren't some large multinational company but more of a startup, meaning they were smaller and naturally Suzuki would have to do many things on his own.

Marquis Alexander took another swig from a bottle- only to see it was completely empty.

Drat it all.

He looked across the room at the curtains- it looked like the sun was about to set. How long had it been since he had left his room?

"More booze!" he shouted at the door.

While he had managed to channel his feelings of loss into anger temporarily to try and get back at the man who had caused him so much grief, that plan had fell flat on its face. He had been unable to derail Suzuki's ascent in the eyes of the public, and now several national treasures had gone to the man.

Not to mention that man had the gall to reject an earldom! The mere thought made him seethe in rage.

He could see no real way out of this, however. There was nothing more that he could do to take that man down. And without purpose there was nothing left to prevent him from seeking ever lower into debauchery.

The door opened.

"Took you long enough!" he screamed.

"Apologies, Lord," the maid replied, placing several bottles on the desk. She then bent over to clear out the empty ones.

Marquis Alexander got up. Now that he had a better look at her- he had to admit that she was remarkably beautiful. Almost as much as that woman called Albedo was.

As she was still bent over, Marquis Alexander reached his hand out and massaged her bottom. She stiffened- but did not resist as his other hand moved towards her chest.

He then bent her slightly down, licking her face as he did so. Indeed, now that he pulled her green hair aside and got a look at her face he had to admit that yes, she really was as beautiful as he had thought she was initially- it wasn't just the alcohol talking.

While doing so, he tried to imagine what it would feel like to do the same to that woman, Albedo, as that man Suzuki Satoru watched on. Yes, he would've liked nothing more than to desecrate that woman while Suzuki, the man who had ruined him, watched on helplessly. It would be a glorious way of getting revenge, to cuckold him right before his own eyes.

He continued to fondle the maid until he found that he had already finished without even having disrobed her- most likely due to the effect of the alcohol.

He got up and the maid finished tidying up. She left without making a fuss, as if nothing he had done had ever happened.

Good girl. Clearly she was aware of her station in life- as it was the maximum the maids could do was complain to their families, but that could be settled easily with a small payment from his side. As it was, most of them desperately needed these jobs and couldn't even dream of retaliating against someone like him. It was good to be reminded that he was still quite a powerful individual from time to time.

Marquis Alexander liked a girl who knew her place. Not like his daughter had been. A flash of anger swept him as he remembered how insubordinate she had been, but it vanished like a lightning bolt.

He then dissolved into tears as he remembered how she had looked when she was just a little girl.

"Happy Birthday!"

The entire village of Carne exclaimed in unison as Suzuki approached the village square.

Albedo had really outdone herself- the place was lit up with lanterns much as one would find during the Star Festival. The table had been imported from Necropolis, and the waiters were all undead.

The food smelled delicious even from here, and Albedo had also gone out of her way to make a giant cake. No wait- she couldn't cook, so she probably had ordered it from somewhere. Regardless, it looked to be quite expensive, and was as large as a wedding cake.

"Happy Birthday, Suzuki-sama!" Albedo cried out.

"Thank you everyone," Suzuki said sheepishly. He was not used to so many people staring at him, and would probably have been mortified if the staff in a restaurant ever approached him while singing 'Happy Birthday' back in his old life. "Ah, I thank you for being here... and I hope you all enjoy yourselves!"

"Please cut the cake first!" Albedo said, handing him a knife. "And make a wish!"

Suzuki thought of what he wanted- and only one thing came to mind.

'If possible, please let me meet my friends again,' Suzuki thought as he blew out the candles.

Applause rang out- this was the first birthday party many of these people would have ever attended, meaning that Albedo had probably coached them on how they should behave beforehand.

Suzuki motioned to Albedo- "Won't you feed me the first piece?"

Albedo bounded up to him, taking a piece and placing it into his mouth.

Suzuki would've loved to do that with everyone present- but there were around a hundred people there and this wasn't possible. If they had each tried to feed him, Suzuki would've been ended up being stuffed harder than Albedo last night. As such, only the Chief, Enri, Daniel & Reena, and Nemu did so.

Afterwards, everyone began to dig in as the sun began to set. The food piled there was equal to or better than any that was served in the halls of royal banquets, so it was only natural to see some people begin downing it all down with little sense of decorum.

Suzuki didn't mind.

He observed everything- a warm feeling rising in his chest.

He saw eyes which radiated hope in the villager's eyes- a marked change from when he used to visit just after they had been attacked. No- to be fair, their faces showed hardship even before that incident.

Now though, they were all confident that they could create a better future for themselves. Suzuki smiled.

As the wine flowed, the villagers gradually began to lose their inhibitions and spoke with him far more freely.

That was in a way, a gift onto itself. He had quickly risen to the ranks of Admantite after coming to this world, so to find people who treated him like a normal person was rare indeed.

In a corner, Phillip and Louise mulled things over. They had not been expected to be invited to a party like this.

"So those are the Adamantites then?" Louise asked.

"Yeah," Phillip said, downing another glass of wine.

"Shouldn't you be more careful with how much you drink?" Louise asked.

Phillip retorted, "Don't know when we'll get another chance to do this again. The food and drink here are first-class." He was quite amazed by the fact. Both of them had expected the food to be of poor quality, but this was better than anything either of them had ever eaten. "Say, you ever had a birthday party when you were little?"

"Nope. Never got a party myself. I was invited to my brother's occasionally, but those were always occasions to socialize and the like, no one paid attention to the birthday boy," Louise said. "I just hung around for the good food and wine- much like right now actually. Though I was also expected to work while doing so. I would only get bites of the leftovers along with the servants when everything was done."

"Same here," Phillip said. He downed another glass. "Say... what do you think about that woman, Albedo?"

"Um...? Dunno, hear she's a warrior of some sort, but she doesn't look it," Louise said.

"Think that... maybe a time could come when I could marry her?" Phillip asked.

Louise chuckled but then realized that Phillip was being totally serious. "I think she already has eyes for that man. Besides, what could you really offer her?"

"I'm still a noble, doesn't that count for something?" Phillip said.

While not titled, he was a member of the nobility which granted one certain perks. It was uncommon, but occasionally merchants might marry someone like him just so that their children could get the benefits one enjoyed due to status. Money was not everything in this world, there were some things only being of noble blood could get you. An example would be connections formed between the nobility, though sadly Phillip had no real reach with any high-ranking nobles.

"Yeah, but she's an Adamantite, dude," Louise said. "An earl'd probably take her just for her looks alone. I'd give up on trying to get with her if I was you."

Phillip took another drink. He nodded, but he hadn't given up.

He liked Louise, but the guy clearly lacked ambition. If Phillip rose up the ranks enough, he was sure that he could get closer to that woman.

As for her apparent love interest... that might be a problem.

Leaving Louise, he looked for that other girl and tapped her on the shoulder. It then struck him that he had forgotten her name.

"Uh, Boss," he said.

"You can call me Enri," she answered back. "Yes, what is it?"

"Thanks for inviting us and all," Phillip said.

"It was Suzuki-dono's idea, actually, you should thank him," Enri said.

"Right, right," Phillip said. "I think I'll go ahead and do that. Say, are... are Albedo and Suzuki-dono together? As in, are they married?"

Enri raised her eyebrows.

"I just don't want to accidentally say something I shouldn't have," Phillip explained.

"Right," Enri said. "I don't think so." She turned to the boy who she was talking to. "Nfi- do you know anything like that?"

"No, I don't think they're married," the boy said. "But-"

Phillip smirked, he had heard enough.

So then there was a chance!

He bided his time as the party flowed on. Many people gathered around Suzuki, though he noticed they kept their distance from Albedo. Even when they were tipsy, people kept their distance from her. The only time she joined in was when she went around with Suzuki, arms locked with each other, though this was only for short periods of time.

However, Phillip heard that the two were not even engaged, so it was possible she had just come here with Suzuki as his companion. It didn't mean that there was anything serious going on between the two.

Right now, Suzuki was surrounded by children, regaling them of a story of him going on some adventure involving a minotaur. Phillip didn't care for this, he instead focused on how Albedo was standing by herself again.

Surely this was odd? She must've felt lonely, he guessed. The children seemed to follow the adult's habit of avoiding her. He kind of felt sorry for her- and a bit enraged at the man named Suzuki for leaving her alone like this.

What kind of gentleman would leave a lady all alone like that? Then again, Suzuki was just an adventurer- there was no way that he would have the manners of a man of high society like Phillip.

From what he remembered, adventurers had little respect for rank or politics- they were much like barbarians who only saw strength as a

He grinned. This was his chance, right? If anything, it would be his only chance.

"Good evening, Albedo-dono," he said, inclining his head.

She turned her head ever so slightly. If she was startled by his approach, she didn't show it, and Phillips stomach did a somersault as she smiled gently at him. He could even feel something in his pants becoming tight, which he struggled to suppress.

"Good evening," she said. "Phillip-san, am I correct?"

She knew who he was? How was that... unless, of course! Perhaps she too, was interested in Phillip, why else would she know the name of someone like him?

Ladies did not tend to make the first move, or so he had heard. Maybe she was waiting for Phillip to approach her?

"I couldn't help but notice that you were standing here all by yourself," Phillip said. He took her hand and kissed it much like he had Enri's.

As his eyes were directed to the ground he couldn't see the brief look of rage on Albedo's face as this happened. No, all he saw was her gently smile as he raised his head to look her in the eyes. "Would you care for a dance?"

The villagers were dancing, though not in the way that Phillip was familiar with, the kind done at noble balls. It was more close to flailing wildly under the influence of alcohol.

"Look what I can do!" a villager screamed as he attempted to perform a split, though it was clear from his expression as he finished that he had damaged... something.

"Classic Pete," someone said as the villager was carried away, probably to rub cold water on that area.

He saw that girl named Enri dancing with the boy he had seen earlier, though both of them looked very awkward and it appeared as if the boy kept stepping on Enri's feet.

It was hardly the kind of area where someone like Phillip would envision dancing, but if he could be with this lady then-

"Thank you, but I must decline," Albedo said. "This is not quite... the environment for dancing it should be."

Ah! Phillip realized how stupid he was. Of course she wouldn't want to dance with these kinds of backwater peasants. A lady like her was probably used to dancing in the finest of ballrooms.

"Ah, I have to agree," Phillip said. "So, some other time then?"

"Ah, yes, some other time then," Albedo said.

Phillip felt the butterflies in his stomach as he turned around to find Louise.

She hadn't said 'no!'

Unknown to Suzuki, and to everyone else, they were being watched at that moment.

Not through divination magic mind you, but through the eyes of two Night Liches.

"Is that the one, Kapul?" one of them asked the other.

Both of them were wearing items that blocked undead detection abilities. Even so, it was quite risky to be so close to the target. But, Kapul was confident enough that he could run away if the need so arose. He had evaded these people once already.

"Yes, the one who stole my treasure," Kapul said.

Kapul had approached the next meeting of Corpus of the Abyss to tell them of what he had found- of the magic caster and warrior whose powers were beyond belief. He had little chance of prevailing over them with brute force, so he decided to get some help.

Granted, saying Suzuki 'stole' the treasure was a stretch, but Kapul had long since assumed the treasure within the Minotaur Sage's room was his and was enraged that someone had just simply strutted in and took them all after decades of his effort going nowhere.

"He doesn't look undead," the other Night Lich by the name of Curtis, who was a seventh tier caster said.

"Necromancer," Kapul said, explaining the many undead reactions that they were picking up.

"We cannot act without more information," Curtis said.
