Harry POV:

I was so confused. Random people I knew were coming back to life. What was the plot behind it all? There had to be for a reason. The idea I had at the sorting struck me again. If Colin, Dumbledore, and Snape all came back then maybe others would come back to life. People like Mum, Dad, Sirius, so many more. I thought to myself, Or perhaps not only humans can come back? Maybe Hedwig and Dobby can return to life. I rubbed the temples of my head, sitting in the Gryffindor common room as Colin kept talking, jumping up and down as he spoke about how happy and excited he was. Percy had left early to go to the loo. I should've had the same idea, and left. It didn't matter that curfew was so close, I just needed to get out of the common room and clear my head. What would I have to give for a Pensieve?

"Right, Harry, Right?" Colin's voice broke me out of my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"We were debating who else we thought would come back. I said your Mum and Dad. If Dumbledore and Snape came back they could too!"

"Yes, it'd be nice," It would be nice. To see the parents that died for me, and tell them how grown their child was now. To tell them, I had avenged them and Voldemort could no longer terrorize the wizarding community, but then so many were lost in the process. Still, if they came back maybe others could too. I didn't want to get my hopes up though, it was only a chance.

"I'm going to take a walk," I said.

"Now?" Another Gryffindor asked. "It's almost curfew,"

"Don't worry mate," Ron said, walking up next to me, Hermione joining him. "We'll be back before any points can be taken,"

"Are you sure?"

"C'mon. With Hermione with us, do you think we can get away with anything fun?" Ron laughed, "Don't worry. What else are we going to do?" That wasn't the slightest bit true. There were several times where Hermione had been with us when we could have done something completely normal and reasonable, but chose to do the opposite.

"Harry, is something wrong?" Hermione asked as we exited the Gryffindor common room.

"No, I just needed some time out the common room," I responded shaking my head. We walked through the corridors in silence, I just didn't know what to say. Why were the dead coming back? "How are they coming back?" I murmured.

"Hey look there's Dumbledore!" Hermione said, steering us around a corner to a corridor. "...and Percy, with Filch?" Suddenly, Percy and Dumbledore began running off, Filch remaining as he continued his normal nightly routine. We looked at each other. "We should follow them," Ron said.

"But first…" Hermione grabbed our arms pulling us with her so our backs were firmly pressed against the wall as Filch walked over. Once the caretaker had passed, she rushed out into the corridor, following where we had seen Percy and Dumbledore run. "Let's go now,"

We made our way onto the soft grass on the school grounds, rushing as we saw the light of a spell erupt. "Dumbledore! Percy!" I cried as we neared them. I stopped. I felt I should've been surprised after what had happened recently, but I couldn't hold in my shock, my anger. I clenched my fist, out of all the people that could've returned, it was her. I pulled out my wand, it was her, that witch who killed Sirius.

Percy POV:

Harry and his friends soon arrived just as Dumbledore moved his head to the side barely missing a spell from the woman Filch had told Dumbledore about. Not long after, the headmaster ran outside with me rushing ahead of him where we found a woman with wild dark hair and thick eyelashes. Before I could do anything or say anything, the mere sight of Dumbledore had caused her to fire an Avada Kedavra. I had produced my own wand and shouted a spell at her, she rolled away, dodging the spell. "Not yet," Dumbledore mumbled, "Perhaps she knows why," I couldn't tell if he was talking to me or himself.

The woman faced the side where Harry had arrived and smiled, "You're here now," Did they know each other?

"Bellatrix," Harry seethed, bringing out his wand, Ron and Hermione did the same. They each cried a spell, Bellatrix casting another Avada Kedavra at them. Flashing lights emerged from both sides, Bellatrix barely managing to fend them off as her spell dwindled. Using this chance, I shouted out, "Petrificus Totalus!" Those books Chiron provided were really helping.

Hearing my voice, Bellatrix stumbled to the side barely missing my attack. Her wand falling a few inches away from her after she dodged. Bellatrix scrambled to get her wand back, her hands finding it quickly as she resumed an attacking position. "Dumbledore," She said, "I see your condition has been getting better since you returned from the grave."

"I can say the same of you. Tell me, how are you alive?"

"Why don't you ask yourself?" She asked, snickering, "After all, I'm in the same situation as you, but I think I have the upper hand."

"Do you?" Ron asked, inching closer, "You are alone," His eyes flickered to me for a moment, "whereas we have allies,"

"Weasley," Bellatrix hissed, "I'll soon find a fitting punishment for you and your entire insufferable family!"

"You're just mad that my mum defeated you!" Rather than retort, Bellatrix growled, giving a bite at Ron who faltered a bit at the motion. "I'd stay, chat, try killing you but I've been told I need to hold back."

"By whom?" I asked, taking a step forward.

"Oh, it's you. I was told there'd be a boy with sea-green eyes. Percy Jackson, right? My name is Bellatrix Lestrange, it's unfortunate we meet under these circumstances, but I think we can still make something of this encounter. My associate says you're powerful, I take it that's true?"

"Who is your associate?" I asked, my voice sterner. I doubted she would actually answer.

"You all know that I can't reveal that," There, I knew it. It was worth a try anyway. Bellatrix continued, "but I was told to relay a message to you,"

"What message?" Harry asked, his hand clenching his wand tightly. He looked immensely angry. Whatever Bellatrix did must've been really awful.

"It's fairly simple actually. Only one word: Remember," I couldn't tell if it was said as an order, a statement or a question, but it didn't matter. It was obvious she wasn't giving us any information, so what was the point in standing here waiting for answers that would never come?

"Petrificus Totalus!" I cried. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Dumbledore each fired a spell as well. Bellatrix fired a Protego, I assumed it couldn't hold up for long as her magic didn't seem too powerful at the moment. After a burst of lights, there stood an empty spot where she once was.
