Percy POV:

When you're a demigod there's a lot you learn about the monsters, the things that hunted you. One fact is that they never died, they could be killed yes, but never dead. They'd just regenerate, coming back so they can hunt you again. A fact about the one standing in front of the class was that he really didn't like me since I killed him last. I glanced at the students around me, gawking at the half-man, half-bull in awe. I was a little startled. The mist, a veil that made monsters seem more normal for mortals, didn't seem to have any effect on them. Well, they weren't technically mortals so I guessed that explained that.

Annabeth, Nico and I looked at each other. The minotaur? At Hogwarts? It seemed that monsters followed us wherever we went. Whether it's at camp or a magical school. The minotaur began scrunching his large nose as if making sure that it smelled demigods fresh for killing nearby. The minotaur mostly relied on its nose since it's sight wasn't very good, nor was his hearing. It swivelled his head back and forth soon locking onto our direction. Of course. We probably smelled like rotten eggs to him.

The minotaur gave a roar and charged. We dodged quickly, our battle reflexes still ready. I looked to Annabeth briefly, my hand in my pocket clasping my sword Riptide which was at the moment concealed as a pen. She shook her head, I grumbled nodding. I didn't like the idea of keeping our secret at times like this, but she was right, our identities would remain unknown. It would be weird if I just stabbed the minotaur in front of everyone, though one thing was for sure: we were definitely going to iris message Chiron about this.

"Hagrid," Ron asked, backing away from the minotaur. "is this part of the lesson?"

"Minotaur!" Hagrid cried, pulling the monster back from us with great progress. "Yer attacking the students!" Hagrid held the minotaur off for a good while, letting us get further from the group. "Let's go to Dumbledore," Annabeth said. Suddenly the minotaur broke free from Hagrid and ran towards us, ramming his horns into the tree behind us as we jumped away from his charge. It seemed as if when he regenerated he'd keep regrowing his horns.

By now the idea that the minotaur wasn't being controlled went to the students and they had begun casting spells on the creature, yet with all the minotaur's thrashing most missed, and the ones that did barely had an effect. "Are you sure?" Nico asked as the minotaur pushed itself free from the tree. "By the looks of this, it's going to follow us," Annabeth seemed to be considering the idea as we dodged more attacks, she narrowed her eyes as students continued to cast spells. "Stupefy!" She cried, her aim not failing her. The spell hit the minotaur and he was stunned, but it seemed as if the spell wasn't holding for very long. In a matter of moments, the minotaur began charging again.

"We'll lure it into the forest," Annabeth said. I could barely make out her voice through all the noise about, but I understood the idea, Nico seemed to as well. We began rushing back to where the class was, the rest of the students frantic. "We're leading it into the forest," Annabeth said, "don't follow us." We swiftly entered the forest, the minotaur behind us. I wasn't sure if everyone listened to Annabeth, nonetheless, they weren't very fast if they were chasing after us, and we soon couldn't see them when we looked behind.

"Percy, your sword can be transformed back into a pen, it's the best choice of weapon to use when defeating the minotaur," Annabeth said.

"Also, we aren't allowed to carry swords around with us, so it's the only weapon choice," Nico added.

"True," Annabeth agreed. "Nico and I can distract it while you go in for the killing blow." I nodded my head in understanding. We continued to dodge the minotaur deeper into the forest, making sure to be unseen. Soon I saw an opening. Riptide was in my hand as a sword. I leapt forward thrusting the blade deep into the minotaur's gut. The minotaur burst into a bunch of yellow sparkles that drifted away in the wind. "Percy! Annabeth! Nico!" Riptide quickly became a pen again, and I put it back into a pocket. Hagrid was running toward us. "How are y'all feeling?" He asked.

"I've been better," I said, though the truth was after so many years with killing monsters as my normal. I didn't feel any exhaustion. "Don' worry," Hagrid assured us as we began heading back out the forest. "Hermione's getting the Headmaster. What happened to Minotaur?"

"Oh, it turned to yellow dust," I said.

"He means it went away," Annabeth responded.

"You three should go to Madam Pomfrey, she's the healer," Hagrid said.

We arrived back out of the forest, most students still standing far away in shock and fear. "Hagrid!" A voice called. I looked up to see Hermione and Dumbledore rushing towards us, looking worried. "Dumbledore!" Hagrid said, practically sobbing, as he rushed towards the Headmaster, "I'm 'o sorry!" he cried, in between gasps of breaths. "I didn' know that Minotaur would harm the students!"

"It's fine. Hagrid," Dumbledore assured, "They seem all safe," He turned to Harry. "Did any students run off? Harry shook his head. Dumbledore placed a hand on Hagrid's shoulder, "See, everything's all right. Tell me, how'd you get the minotaur for class? I thought you had something else planned,"

"I'm sorry! I found it in the wild and it seemed so tame, I thought the class would like it." The minotaur...tame?

"It's okay Hagrid, just make sure with me next time," Dumbledore said, "Everyone, class dismissed early. As for you three," He turned to Annabeth, Nico and I. "Let's visit Madam Pomfrey," As the rest of the students left, Annabeth, Nico and I each took our bags, looking the same way they had when we left them there. I rummaged around checking if everything was in there. Yep. Nothing was stolen. I looked over to see Nico and Annabeth doing the same thing, both looking like they had the results they wanted as well.

Annabeth POV:

"The Minotaur," Dumbledore began, "he's from your world, correct?" We were each sitting on a bed in the hospital wing. Dumbledore had asked Madam Pomfrey to leave, which she begrudgingly did after finishing performing a check-up on us.

"Yes. Son of Pasiphae." I said. "Have monsters invaded Hogwarts in the past?"

"No, not really." Dumbledore said, "There have been infiltrations, but these monsters you say, have not crossed into our boundaries. We do have some mythological creatures though, such as centaurs, unicorns, a phoenix, and even a basilisk a couple of years ago,"

"Well, that explains why the mist doesn't work on them." Nico remarked, "If they always saw mythological creatures like that, then the minotaur was no different."

"The mist?"

"The mist hides our world from mortals," Percy explained, "It is maintained by Hecate, the Greek goddess of magic."

"A goddess of magic?" Dumbledore repeated. "Perhaps our worlds have crossed into each other before,"

"Perhaps," I replied. I think there were just different branches of magic. The Hogwarts version could be referred to as Wizardry since their world was known as the wizarding world. The Egyptian mythology magic version from which I discovered in my adventures with the Kanes could just be called magic in general as the users were called magicians. As for Greek mythology magic, it seemed reasonable to entitle it as sorcery since the users like Circe and Medea were more known as sorceresses or sorcerers. I suppose they could all just be called magic though, the one word fitted into all the categories.

"I can't believe the minotaur came all the way to England to try and kill us," Percy commented.

"Are you going to kick us out of school because of that?" Nico asked.

"No, of course not," Dumbledore said. I sighed a breath of relief. I was really enjoying wizarding school, it was fascinating opening up to a new world. "We've had situations similar to this before," Dumbledore continued, "Though I think I'll continue the easier lessons, everyone is still so tense after Voldemort's defeat. However, I'll reinstate the duelling club. You three should message Chiron, see how things are going on his side. Go to the room of requirement once Madam Pomfrey releases you, make sure no one sees."
