Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

43. Seto finds work

Chapter 43: Seto finds work

Date: 8th July 20XX

Time: 10:12pm

Dear diary

Seto was lucky to have found work, he claims that it was work in the construction industry. He likes to help out and work more with his hands than anyone else in the group, our family unit. With the way that Seto dresses, you'd expect him to go into a career that was somewhat hands on like construction, but he looks like he is more tailored into something like mechanics or working on machines in some way instead of laying bricks. So far Seto has been saying through first couple of days has been fun, both working and meeting new people. He tells us that he gets on well with his co-workers and even how they ended up working there.

I wonder what kind of career me and Kano would get into, since we have limited skills, we might be lucky to end up as a waiter for Kano and a waitress for me. Kano keeps assuring me that I'd be able to make it for a higher position than a waitress, I know he was saying that to keep me in a positive mindset when looking for work. He even tried to make me laugh by saying how I'd look adorable wearing the uniform of a waitress, having hair tied back and all. His jokes usually involved a little piece of sarcasm and being overly emotional, but these jokes were different. These jokes had something that made me feel more fluttery, a way I can't explain with words. It was like I could feel there was more to it, even with him smiling the way he does to hide how he feels. I couldn't help but to feel this way and I could tell almost instantly that things were different, I'd normally respond by hitting him, but this time I just fell face first into his shoulder. This surprised both of us when I realised my own actions. Things felt more awkward between the two of us and I had a gut feeling like I knew why I was, but no clue to why he was.

Momo gives us updates on how things are going with her, even saying that Ene should go with her to the interviews for idols so she can help out. Part of me thinks its so she has bragging rights to helping Momo return to that world, and get invited to parties. I still don't know how I feel about it, I want to make sure that her mental health is as good as it can be, along with her education. I need to help take care of everyone, the way Ayano would if she were here with us and guiding us the way she would.
