Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

46. Konoha's progress

Chapter 46: Konoha's progress

Date: 6th August 20XX

Time: 11pm

Dear diary

Konoha has been getting up earlier and earlier, for the last few days it seems like he has hardly slept before needing to head out to work. He does what he is told and works on a shop floor as effectively as he can, even with him spacing out into a daydream more often than even he might care to admit. He tells us that he's been settling in well with the other staff, his co-workers, and has been talking about how they're planning a Halloween party a few months away. He says they plan this early so they can get reservations in and even go for a meal together the night before. Because he is new to the work place, he wasn't sure if he should go on the day of the party or to the due they arrange the day before. Myself and Momo, even Ene who was more aggressive to the point, agreed that him going to both would be a good idea. This is so he can form a better bond with his co-workers and hopefully lead to more things. After much convincing and much debating, by debating I mean Ene telling him outright, he caved and agreed to go to them both. He asked if we'd be ok without him for both days, we continued to reassure him. He's such an air head at times but I can see his intentions behind his actions. I think Ene wanted him to stay, but like with me and Kano, she probably didn't want to hold him back from anything and wanted him to have a good time.

Seems like we're all maturing in our own way and finding new ways to deal with our problems as they develop, like adults. That is until I see Kano who with his big goofy grin, reminds me why everyone else needs to be mature, to make up for his childish behaviour. He keeps doing that, even during the most tense situation, he makes jokes and tries to play them off cool.
