Percy POV:

"What d'you reckon we'll be seeing next in Hagrid's class," Ron asked after drinking some pumpkin juice to wash down some of his dinner.

"It's a pity we didn't continue the lesson of pegasi," Hermione said, "I was really interested. Though, I'm still excited about what creature Hagrid's going to teach us about," Hermione said.

"Which creatures have you learnt about?" I asked. Harry gave a laugh. "That's a long list. There's Bowtruckles, Flobberworms-" Harry continued listing the creatures to which they were taught at Hogwarts over the years. I knew some of them from Greek mythology however the others were completely unknown to me.

"-Unicorns, Blast-Ended Skrewts, Thestrals-"

"We went near the forbidden forest for that," Ron said, "Speaking of which, now that it's been a while, can we ask you about the forest?"

"Haven't you been in before?" I said. Dumbledore had mentioned most of Harry's experiences as well as he was a grand part in the second wizarding war. "I've been told about some experiences you've had there,"

"Well, yes, but we were wondering how you thought of it," Hermione said, "Although you're our age. The forest can still be a bit daunting to those who haven't stepped foot in it before,"

"I suppose it was fine, nothing too frightening happened in there," I had been to Tartarus before, a dark forest wouldn't be the least bit frightening for me.

"The minotaur probably scared away the other creatures in the forest," Ron snuffed. "That's probably why it wasn't frightening for you,"

"What creatures?"

"Centaurs!" Ron suggested. "They're usually nice if you leave them be, don't really like to dabble in human affairs you see, but you don't want to anger one." Chiron himself was a centaur. I wonder if he knew any of the ones near Hogwarts. Though, I suppose centaurs from England were different from the ones I met. Besides Chiron, there were also his relatives the 'Party Ponies' who were interesting enough themselves, however didn't seem to be the type of centaurs Ron was talking about.

"Our 5th defence against the dark arts professor had an unfortunate encounter with a group when she made them upset," Ron continued.

"We shouldn't even call her a professor," Hermione snorted, "She taught nothing useful. If it weren't for Harry, we wouldn't have learnt anything on that subject in our 5th year."

"She well deserved what happened to her," Harry added. I noticed one of his hands clenching into a fist under the sleeve of his robes.

"Percy, do you think greek mythology creatures can come back from the dead?" Ron asked. "We've looked into Greek mythology recently, and it seemed the bull-man is already supposed to be dead. Maybe he came back like Dumbledore?!"

"I don't think so," Hermione mused, "From what we found out, the minotaur escaped death several times. The book said that Theseus killed him,"

"It also said that Heracles killed him as well," Harry added. "I'm not sure how that works if both people killed him,"

"It didn't mention about the minotaur having some sneaky ability," Hermione said, "How did it evade death so many times? I don't think a minotaur can make Horcruxes,"

"Hey," Ron added. "You never know what can do magic,"

"Maybe there's more than one minotaur," Harry suggested. Hermione shook her head, "I don't think so, but we'll find out sooner or later."

"Did you find anything else?" I asked.

"No," Hermione said. "We only read the books on greek creatures, however, if we should-"

"We don't need to read any more books," I interrupted. "Now that I'm on board, there's no need. I know basically everything about Greek mythology. Reading will be a waste of time."

"Boastful, aren't you?" Ron said.

Hermione narrowed her eyes. "I'd hardly call reading a 'waste of time',"

"If you really don't think I know about mythology, try testing me. I've been with it for years,"

"Name creatures which have relations to snakes,"

"The Gorgons, Python, Hydra, oh and although it's not really a creature the Caduceus is a staff that had two snakes on it." Their names are George and Martha. I almost blurted out.

"How many labours did Hercules have to face?"

"Trick question, 'Hercules' didn't face the labours. Heracles faced twelve. Greek and Roman there's a difference." And he's a total jerk whom I crashed a wave on top of.

"What creature guards the underworld?"

"Cerberus," Hermione seemed satisfied with what she heard, but Percy still doubted just because he answered a few questions she wouldn't go back to reading about Greek mythology.

"What's a Cerberus?" Ron asked.

"Cerberus is the three-headed dog who guards the underworld," He likes red rubber balls.

"Three-headed!" Ron exclaimed. "It's just like Fluffy!"

"Who?"

"Fluffy is a three-headed dog Hagrid owns," Harry answered. "He did say he bought Fluffy from a 'Greek chappie'." Another three-headed dog? Did Cerberus have siblings?

"Whatever Hagrid brings out next class anyway. I hope it won't start attacking me,"

Hagrid hadn't brought out Nifflers in the next Care of Magical creatures class, instead, he brought us near the forbidden forest again. Hopefully, there wasn't another minotaur hiding near the trees. "Good news!" Hagrid exclaimed, "I managed to find a tame one!" He gestured to the forest and asked for the creature to come out. The creature did come out...pounding on me. It was a large hellhound with black fur and a snout nudging at me as it licked my face. It was Mrs. O'Leary.

I knew there would probably be several greek mythology creatures that would probably make an appearance in the class. I suppose that's what Hagrid meant the other day when saying it would take a while for the tame creature to come. Most hellhounds weren't as friendly as Mrs. O'Leary. I wondered how Hagrid and Mrs. O'Leary stumbled into each other. "Percy!" Hagrid cried, rushing up to me.

"I'm fine," I responded, getting up as Mrs. O'Leary continued to lick me. I patted her on the head and hugged her.

"That's the fourth time a creature I brought to the class went to you first," Hagrid remarked, "Amazin'! Yer a natural! Anyway, everyone, this is Mrs. O'Leary, as says the collar. She is a hellhound."

"Hagrid," Nico asked. "How did you find her?"

"I was out the other day and I happen to bump into her. I've been wanting to do a lesson on her for a while, but I needed permission and yadda, yadda, yadda, then Mrs. O'Leary suddenly disappeared one day and I had to try to get her to come back." I suppose Hagrid didn't know that Hellhounds could shadow travel.

"I've been studying her for a while," Hagrid continued. "Met with her first during the summer,"

"It's a huge bloody dog!" Someone observed.

"Indeed she is," Hagrid said fondly, "Now Hellhounds are grand dogs who have enhanced abilities like speed and strength, but also have a fear of heights." Mrs. O'Leary was still next to me, jumping up and down, nudging me and wagging her tail asking to play. "Most Hellhounds are around the size of a bear, but they can be even larger like Mrs. O'Leary here. Today, we'll get to get comfortable around Mrs. O'Leary since we'll be learning about her for a while,"
