Jace's pov

I woke up at 7:30 am by Jocelyn she said that a nurse is going to give Clary some pain meds and her last treatment before she can come home well to the institute. Jocelyn agreed that since me and Clary are engaged Clary can move into the institute. Jocelyn and Luke will be moving into it as well but Luke is still keeping the apartment as he isn't allowed in the institute the whole time with out the angels getting mad.

Anyway it is currently 3:30pm and we are still in the hospital Clary is reacting to the meds ok but she's still being sick because of the treatment. I wish there was a rune that could stop this or I wish I could stop this. I was pulled out of my thoughts because the nurse said "She's ok to go home I'll just go and get the discharge papers. So can I see you later here's my number."

She handed me the number but I just crumpled it up and chucked it in the bin Jocelyn went and followed the nurse to get Clary discharged. I went into her room with her things and pulled out a t shirt some pj pants and a coat for her to wear. She smiled when she saw me, I had to help her sit up and she asked me

"Jace can you help me put the clothing on please I'm sorry." I sighed before turning her head to look at me and I kissed her before taking her gown off and putting on a shirt I then helped her put on the pants I pulled out. She eventually got to weak to stand and she fell. I caught her and sat her down on the bed. She was crying "I'm sorry Jace. I'm sorry I'm to weak and you have to put up with me." I wiped her tears away before speaking

"Clary if I thought you were a burden or to weak do you think I would have proposed to you. Yes I would have but I'm just saying your not a burden ok like I said yesterday your amazing wonderful and gorgeous "kiss" woman" kiss "whom "kiss" I" Kiss" love." Jocelyn came back in saying.

"We can go now ok." She smiled before grabbing some of the books and cards that were on the table by Clary's bedside she continued, "Clary do you want Jace to carry you to the truck?" Clary nodded at Jocelyn. I hooked on arm under Clary's legs the other arm went round her waist.

I picked her up bridal style, her head lent on my chest. When we got to the truck there was a blanket and some pillows in the back where Clary and I had to sit. I put her down on the blanket got in and put the other blanket round her. It took Jocelyn and Luke 20 minutes to get the stuff out of the hospital. Whilst they did so Clary's nose started to bleed. I grabbed a cloth that was there, and held it to her nose.

"I'm so sorry Jace you shouldn't have to be doing this. I'm such a burden on you. Mea culpa mea maxima culpa my fault my grievous fault. " She started to cry again. I held her to my chest as she sobbed into my shirt her breaths started to even out. When Luke and Jocelyn came back they saw her asleep in my arms. They said nothing just started the truck and headed to the institute.

When we got there Alec was waiting outside with Izzy and Maryse. Alec and Izzy started to get some of Clary's things out of the truck. Clary was still asleep but she was shivering, I picked her up got out of the truck and brought her to our room. I moved to a bigger room for Clary's purposes. Mainly so she could draw and have her treatment here. I laid her down on the bed and put the comforter on her, I looked at her one last time before going to help Izzy and Alec. Her skin was paler than usual she'd lost weight and you could see faint bruises from the chemo. It took Alec, Izzy and I about 10 minutes to get everything into my old room, which was across the hall from my new one. It wasn't until I heard Clary say, "Jace." I knew she was awake. I went into the room and sat down next to her.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked worry clearly in my eyes. She coughed before saying,

"Cuddle with me please." I got dressed into a pair of shorts and a t shirt. I would have gone into my boxers but Jocelyn might kill me and I for one would like to live thank you very much. I got under the comforter and pulled Clary to my chest within seconds she was asleep. There was a knock at the door, It was Alec with some food for us I told him to be quiet by putting one finger to my mouth. He whispered,

"She's a fighter Jace she will make it through this Illness." He gave me a quick hug, I mumbled a thanks and he left. Clary started to whimper in her sleep, from months of knowing this girl I know one thing that helps. I started to sing
