Seven hundred.
That's how old daddy said he was. He didn't really know why it mattered since he knew he'd been an adult for a long time now anyway. The other werewolves didn't think of him as one but that was fine. Everyone knew their people were kinda dumb so there was no point in taking them seriously.
Plus, he loved his tail! It went all 'thwump thwump thwump' just like it was now since he was eating daddy's cooking instead of Lily's for the first time in ages. Loads of people said his tail was weird though. That was their problem. If they thought tails were for kids they were wrong. They were also wrong for thinking that him still calling his fathers by papa and daddy was strange. Their fault. Everyone was no fun because they either thought that or because all of them thought him not caring about fighting wasn't right. Both fighting and having a tail weren't so important so he didn't know why they thought it was.
He was an adult with a tail and he adored having it no matter what others thought. Even if he still had to wear that brace because he ended up spraining it every time he took it off. That always made him pout. It wasn't his fault he was always wagging his tail. It was the world's fault for being such a great place!
Like this food- "It's good! The best!"
His tail wagged as his father smiled at his words. That was the best expression people made. Their smiles were amazing, and daddy smiled so much more than he had in the past. At least, he had more real ones compared to before. When he was a child he hadn't realised it but he did now.
"Ya said the same for Lily too," his father teased, "Ya ain't lying, are you?"
"No. You're both the best! You're the best at meat and spicy food while Lily's best at veggies."
Again, his father was smiling- "Ivo, yer too much."
That was all he said and Ivo's tail wagged faster as he continued to finish up the rest of the food. It made his clothes rustle too but he was already used to it. After washing the dishes and giving kisses to his family (all of them! even Kamikui who started talking about dog slobber. he just ignored that though because everyone knew Kamikui was mean and that even if he was mean he did like them. like how he got angry at the people who were mean to Yunu. he also kissed lil Caledonia maybe a hundred times because each time he kissed someone else in front of her she got angry so he had to sooth her) he ran out with some of his pottery.
He hadn't been back to Lukedonia in so long! Nothing seemed to have changed, but he missed everyone! Going to learn more about pottery from people outside was fun but it meant he couldn't see people, and it sucked. First, he visited Miss Claudia, then the Lord because she pet his head sometimes (though she did it more when he was a child. he wondered if it was just too hard to pet taller people. papa pet daddy's head all the time though so he wasn't too sure. he wouldn't worry about it. things that weren't problems didn't require him to think about them if he didn't want to~), and then loads of other people. It involved a lot of running but by the end he was only holding a cute clay chicken.
Ivo had saved the best for last after all.
Eagerly waiting for a certain someone to come, since he'd definitely felt his presence, his tail wagged faster and faster. It was just like his heart! So fast that he wanted to go scream like daddy had taught him too. He'd even taken him to his favourite spot to do that! A pretty cliff that was even prettier at night.
When a door in the hallway creaked, Ivo's nose twitched. At the familiar footsteps, he stood up, jittery as he stopped himself from bounding out the door immediately. When it swung open though… he couldn't stop himself. He practically leaped over at the face he saw, and that bright white hair that many Loyards had but this shade was only for one person.
Wrapping up his best friend in a tight hug- "Gabriel! I missed you."
He didn't get a reply, and when he let go Gabriel crumpled to the ground wheezing. Laughing, Ivo smiled happily. Ah, nothing had changed over the years had it? Everything was still the same. How nice.
