*Hey guys, I start school next week but I will try my hardest to upload every Tuesday.

Have a nice rest of your day and thanks to Obsidian for beta reading*

"Three thousand years ago, there existed a species of beings that feasted on human flesh to survive, these beings were known as demons. They became so powerful that they threatened the entire human race's livelihood.

The gods believed them to be a threat to their followers and bestowed upon the humans a way to kill the demons. They bestowed upon them the knowledge of breathing techniques and an ore that held the sun's power, which was the only way to kill demons, at the time.

These breathing techniques made humans stronger, faster, and better in many ways. With weapons made from the ore, they were able to kill the demons if they decapitated them. The demon problem grew smaller and smaller as the years went by and soon, the humans started to create their own breathing techniques.

The gods hated this, believing the humans were trying to mimic their power. The gods schemed to curse the demon slayers, which they did after the demons were fully eradicated. This curse was that any demon slayer would die after turning 25 if they used a breathing form not created by the gods themselves. The descendants of the slayers watched their fathers, mothers, and siblings die horrible deaths which created a rage within them.

These descendants created civilizations to fight the gods, thinking them to be wicked and corrupted. They trained for hundreds of years to fight against the gods, which failed. However, they did manage to create something. The hate and other constant negative emotions within the civilizations created spirits that fed off these energies.

Cursed spirits, as they were called, started preying upon humans as the demons once did. Seeing this, the humans drew the conclusion that the cursed spirits were warriors of the gods, trying to finish what they started with their ancestors.

They soon found out that their fighting styles did not work against the cursed spirits, so they tried many other things. Eventually, after many experiments, they learned that the manipulation of energy called cursed energy was effective against the spirits.

They created techniques around the manipulation of cursed energy and became the first Jujutsu Sorcerers. The Sorcerers fought against the spirits for fifteen hundred years before the end of their era. What caused the end was the king of cursed spirits. He used all of the negative emotions he had gained over his thousand year life to momentarily gain the abilities of a god.

At this moment he evolved his species, cursed the humans once more, and created a dimension for his species before being shredded apart by that same power. His species evolved into hollows, a more powerful version of hateful spirits. The curse he placed on the humans made them become hollows once they died if they weren't properly led to the afterlife. Finally, the dimension he created for the species became known as Hueco Mundo, an endless desert of death.

The gods knew that the actions of the Cursed Spirit King would require an equal reaction to keep world balanced. Their solution was to make the shinigami grant his powers to guide humans to the afterlife to the sorcerers.

He did and granted them even more, in hopes they would eventually take some of the weight off his back. The god granted the sorcerers the ability to create weapons from their emotions, souls, and legends, which are known as zanpakuto, live forever in the afterlife unless they're killed once more, and travel between the different dimensions.

In respect of the god, the sorcerers took on a new name, soul reapers, or shinigami. The shinigami built up within the afterlife with the assistance of the gods and once they were settled in, the gods left. It was quiet for a couple of hundred years, except for the shinigami battling hollows, until a being known as Kaguya descended onto the war-infested living world that lacked any type of energy.

She settled down with humans and lived as the concubine of one nation's leader. The leader had a conflict with a neighboring nation and declared that anyone that threatened the other nation would be executed.

Kaguya broke this rule and was hunted down by her own people. Eventually, she arrived at a tree that bore a fruit known as the chakra fruit. With the newly lost hope in humanity, she ate it and gained the ability of chakra.

Over the next few years, she singlehandedly stopped all of the wars and became hailed as the Rabbit Goddess. Later on, she became pregnant and when Kaguya's sons, Hagoromo and Hamura, were born with chakra of their own, she merged with the Earth's God Tree to take the chakra back, thus becoming a monster called the Ten-Tails.

The sons passed their abilities on to humanity and taught them how to control the energy known as "Chakra". Kaguya, being hungry for power, was offended by the fact that people were using and learning her powers. On top of that, her two sons kept asking her about the tree which bore the chakra fruit and what lies underneath it, which lead to her becoming angrier.

Within that tree were human sacrifices that Kaguya had been using to grow another chakra fruit on the tree. Soon after Hagaromo and Hamura discovered the truth, Kaguya lost control of her hatred and decided to end them, turning into the ten-tails.

The battle raged for three months between the family and eventually, the sons sealed their mother within what we now know as the moon and split up the power of the ten tails into nine bijuu, which were then sealed into Hagaromo.

With their mother defeated and the imminent threat to their world gone, the brothers split. Hamura went to stay on the moon and guard his mother's seal while Hagaromo stayed on earth and dispersed chakra to all humanity.

Hagaromo later had two boys, Asura and Indra. Asura became the founder of the Senju while Indra created the Uchiha. Upon Hagaromo's death, he released the bijuu around the world and left Asura as his successor. Hundreds of years passed as the world evolved with chakra, leading to the history that all of you know."

The room full of shinigami academy first-year students starred in awe at the Headmaster who had just given them the history lesson. There were so many evolutions involved in their history that they didn't know what to think.

Naruto, who sat at the back of the auditorium, just shrugged. It was some interesting and cool information, but it wasn't exactly life-changing nor would it be useful. It was just one of those neat facts. "Now that you all know of our history, I am going to introduce you to your teachers." The headmaster said, moving to the side as a woman walked up to the podium.

She was pale, very pale in fact, and tall with red curly hair that went to her shoulders. Her face was diamond-shaped with a scar over her left cheek just below her coal-colored eye. "Good morning, you may call me Ms. Uzumaki. I am your kido teacher, I hope we can have a fun school year."

Ms. Uzumaki moved to the side, allowing a man to walk up. He had short, unkempt, dark-colored hair, a singular black eye, and a relatively broad nose with well-defined eyelashes, that were turned upwards at each end. His skin was also relatively pale, it was like the teachers got no sun.

"Mornin, you can call me Mr. Uchiha, I am your Hoho teacher. My class is the funnest by the way." The last sentence got a little chuckle from some students as he walked away, leaving the podium clear for the next teacher which was a man with one arm.

Apart from the missing limb, he had tanned skin, big blue eyes, a square-shaped face, and curly blonde hair. "I'm Mr. Ishihi, your Zanjutsu teacher. I know you see my arm is missing but trust me, I'll still put you on your ass."

The woman coming up next slapped him away and shook her head. She was a unique-looking teacher, her skin was patchy with some being darker than the rest. Her hair was a dark brown that ran straight down her back, her eyes were red, and her face was a nice sharp oval.

"Sorry about him, You'll learn he's a bit of a prankster. Anyways, I am Mrs. Torigane, your Hakuda teacher. My class is much better than Mr. Uchiha's." She glanced back at him with a playful grin. "False!" Said Uchiha shouted from his seat, once again gaining some laughs from the students

The headmaster walked up to the podium once Mrs. Torigane sat down and opened his palm toward the staff. "As you can see, we are not very formal here. We figure if you're going to be here for a couple of years, why not have fun? Now, without further ado, I shall explain your schedule for today."

He looked at his watch and nodded. "It is 8:30, for the next 30 minutes you will go in groups categorized by your last names on tours led by your upperclassmen. Feel free to ask them any questions while on this tour.

Once the tour is over, you'll be free to wander the campus by yourself. As long as you're back in here by 12 to receive your schedule and dorm number you'll be just fine. I'll start calling out the groups, so listen up.

Those with last names starting with A to D, please go to the door right where Mr. Fern is. He'll be your group's guide." The headmaster pointed to a giant of a man with green hair that waved. The students got up to follow him as the headmaster continued to list the groups.

Naruto didn't have to wait long for the N's to be called and he headed towards his guide, which was a nice-looking woman. The first years grouped around her and she waited for a couple of seconds.

"Alright, I believe that's everyone so let's get started. Good morning guys. I'm Sari, a 4th year, and I'll be your guide today. First, let's get out of this loud place." She led them out of the room and into the hallway. "Our first location is the Hakuda building, so please follow me. If you have any questions on the way, feel free to ask."

They were led out of the building and down a path to the Hoho building. Once inside, Sari began talking. "Just something to keep in mind, the three buildings apart from the main building have 6 floors, each one for a different year. Hence why the roof is kind of low."

It was quite low, maybe 10 feet. As they walked, they all studied the hallway around them, even if it was quite basic. Their guide suddenly stopped, catching those not paying attention by surprise. Looking at her, they found her opening a door. "This is Mr. Uchiha's room." She guided them in, entering last. After they were all in, she let them look around. It was what you'd expect for a classroom about movement techniques.

The floor was a bouncy type of plastic that would absorb impact and the rest of the room was covered in various obstacles. It looked like a giant playroom. "This class is usually separated into stretching then practicing on the obstacles. He wasn't lying when he said it was a fun class, albeit a bit simple."

The girl leaned toward them. "Don't tell him this but this class is second to Mrs. Torigane's." She put her fingers to her lips before leaning back up. "Any questions?" One kid did have a question. "What're those designs on the wall?"

Sure enough, on the walls, there were designs on paper within frames. Naruto knew what they were, he had some of them on his body. "Those are the designs for some cursed techniques of the Jujutsu Sorcerers. They're kept as a memento of our past."

The lack of speaking after that told her there were no more questions. "Well, our next destination is the common center." They followed her out of the building and to the center of the campus that Ryoga had told Naruto about.

"This is the common center, where most class ranking bouts happen. The red circle is the arena. As a little bonus information, getting a high rank within your class can mean you might be able to pass early but you'll constantly be challenged by everyone in the school."

One of the kids within the group seemed to disagree. "Not if you completely crush everyone." Sari nodded. "True but you'll soon see how difficult that is. Now, we are given some freedom on this tour so where would you like to go next? Zanjutsu or Kido?"

Shouting proceeded and Sari picked what she heard the most. "Zanjutsu it is. That's the white building right there." She pointed before beginning to walk. Not long after, they were within the classroom of Mr. Ishihi.

It had hardwood floors, a giant mirror that covered an entire wall, and a square arena within the middle. "If you haven't noticed, all the classrooms are very bland and open, they do this so all sorts of different things can be done in the rooms. Trust me when I say their teachings aren't like the room design." The group looked around for a couple of minutes before Sari motioned to the door.

They all walked to the Kido building, where she guided them to a door that sat on a wall just beside the actual building, which led into an enclosed outside space. "Kido is a bit different from the other classes. Most of it is learning incantations and how to move our spiritual energy while one day a week is training in the Kido field, which is where we are."

Said field was as one would expect, a field that was used as a range with targets set up at one end. "You only get one day because there's only one field and each year needs a day to practice."

Before they went back inside, one kid had a question. "I thought there were six years and only five school days?" Sari nodded. "There are only 5 years worth of Kido so it works out. You can take a kido class in the sixth year but only if you want to enter the Kido corps." They walked inside after that and were led into Ms. Uzumaki's classroom.

It looked like a normal classroom, with seats and a board up front where teachings were put so there wasn't anything to ask about so one kid decided to ask about the class subjects themselves. "Which class teaches us how to control our spiritual energy?" Sari turned to him and began speaking. "You're gonna get lectured by the headmaster later but usually all of your classes will have some kind of lesson on it," Sari answered simply.

"It's mostly Kido and Hoho but every other class gives you a little help. Before I forget, I want each of you to try and become friends with some upperclassmen, they usually know all the secrets of understanding lessons."

Once again, they became quiet after she spoke and were led to the final building, the main one. Naruto began to ignore his upperclasswoman until they got into the Hakuda classroom, the only place he hadn't seen. It had mat floors for getting thrown down with one side of the room having training dummies and punching bags.

When they were about to leave to head upstairs, Naruto asked his guide a question. "Excuse me, do you mind if I go ahead and leave? I arrived a week ago and already received the tour of this building."

The girl turned to him. "You're the one that the student council guided around?" Naruto gave a nod and recieved one. "Go ahead, just don't get into any trouble and be back in the auditorium by 12." Naruto gave her his thanks before splitting from the group. He'd made plans with himself to walk around the seireitei in search of a job, he didn't like mooching off the student council like he'd been doing.

Starting his way to the district where he knew shops were, he felt as if someone was watching him. Looking back, It was easy for him to spot a certain redhead following him, her hair was as bright as day compared to the white and brown walls after all. Losing her was even easier as he took a corner and jumped a wall on his left.

If it wasn't for the fact he landed in someone's backyard, it would've been the perfect escape. "Uhm, excuse me. What're you doing in my yard?" Naruto looked behind him to see a redheaded woman, one that he'd wanted to see for his entire life.

He stared at his mother for a few seconds before realizing what he was doing. "I'm sorry ma'am. I was being followed by some crazy girl so I was trying to escape her." The Namikaze shook her head with disappointment. "Just get out of my yard."

Naruto gave a bow before jumping over the wall and collapsing on the other side. His thoughts raced just like his breathing. It took all he had to not spill everything there and finally get the embrace of his mom. 'What would be the harm of me telling her who I am?' He questioned himself. The thought triggered his overthinking mind to go into overdrive, hoping to find a reason to stop him.

'What if she hates me because I defected from the village she died protecting?' The former blonde gulped and felt his hands to begin to shake. Shoving them into his pockets, he walked away, and soon, he felt more eyes on him.

Taking a glance back, he saw a blur of red hair move behind a pole. Seeing the blur reminded him of Hinata. The boy shivered at the idea, sure she was cute but he didn't like having some girl follow him everywhere, it was creepy.

Now that he thought about it, maybe she was one of those dere's that he read about. Hinata was a dandere, considering the way she would blush and pass out when he got close. Deidara was a … 'Why did I think of Deidara?' he questioned himself. She was normal, or at least relationship-wise.

"No woman that associates with you is normal." A voice within his head said. Stopping in his tracks, Naruto thought that his tenant was back. 'Kyuubi? Are you there?' There was no response but he thought about what the voice said.

Tsunade was a crazy woman, Deidara had a crazy obsession with explosives, and Sakura was an obsessed fangirl that liked to abuse him. 'Damn.' The fox was right, no woman that associated with him was normal.

The second girl stuck in his head for a minute as a sad smile grew. He never got to give her that necklace nor did he ever get to have an actual relationship with her. 'At least we had a few dates.'

Memories of their dates flowed through his mind and eventually, it brought up memories of when he talked to Ryoga about Deidara the second time.

*Flashback*

Naruto and Ryoga strolled through the Seireitei, bored and looking for something to do. "So, do you mind telling me more about what my sister is doing?" Ryoga questioned, getting a nod from the Uzumaki.

"Well, besides the samurai training, she has a surrogate brother named Kiyoko, who is a puppet maker and they live in a nice-sized home in Hirakori. There isn't really much else about her besides those things."

Ryoga sighed. "I kind of expected something else like she was an explosion expert. Speaking of that, were you kidding about that part as well?" Naruto decided to nod. "She never became a shinobi of Iwa and decided to become a tailor, quite good as well."

The Harumyo shrugged. "Well, how'd you end up with her then?" Naruto faked a smile and looked up. "I needed clothes after my first B-rank and since I had plenty of money, I went to the most expensive store, which she worked in."

The smile on his face actually became real as he imagined the real first encounter. "She was wearing the outfit of a delivery worker since that's all she was at that point. I hope you don't mind but I must say she was quite cute in it.

Anyways, the store was quite packed and every tailor was busy, leaving her to help me. I do not suggest having a cute girl as your tailor, especially when you are being fitted for everything." A shake and shutter later, and Ryoga held a disgusted face.

"I don't want to hear any more of that story. Hearing about my sister in that way gives me the creeps." Naruto chuckled a bit. "Alright, alright. Anything else?" The shake of the elder man's head told the teen that his fake scenario was believable.

Coughing, Ryoga turned to his friend. "Do you ever miss her? I've been dead for longer than a decade and I miss her still." Naruto nodded. "Every day. You know, we had an agreement that if I ever died that she would move on with her life." He sighed. "I don't think she'll ever do that, and it kind of makes me want to somehow go back to the human world to live with her again."

Ryoga nodded. "Yeah, many people have had the same thoughts but unfortunately, you can't get to the human world without permission and entering a human body is impossible." Naruto merely smirked.

The man had clearly never seen the tenacity of an Uzumaki nor the amount of chakra they had. His original plan of going back to the human world was still on the platter, considering that as long as his body had physical energy, it wouldn't decay.

That basically meant he had until Kyuubi ran out of physical energy which wasn't any time soon. Chuckling to himself, he realized just how much time he could spend in the afterlife and still be alright.

It didn't mean he didn't want to go back asap but he didn't need to. "Hey, you wanna go get something to eat?" Ryoga questioned, getting a nod from the Namikaze. "Yeah, let's go."

*Flashback end*

Shaking his head and getting back to the matter at hand, he wondered if Korren was a dandere, or maybe a tsundere considering how she was mad at him. That didn't make much sense either when he thought about it, he'd just met her so why would she be either of those things. It appeared that he didn't understand lots of things about that sex.

A resolve formed, he was going to try and understand these beings known as Women. First off, he was going to find out what type of dere Korren was, if she was even one at all. The quickest way was to catch her in the act of following him and gauge her reaction.

Lucky for him, when his thoughts ended, he was at some stores. The one he entered was a book store. Going in, the Uzumaki quickly hid behind a bookcase in wait. When he heard the bell of the door open, he peeked around and saw the red hair. Another quick movement and he was behind her.

Naruto leaned in and whispered into her ear. "Why're you following me, flame head?" The way she jumped made him wish he had a photographic memory. "Why the hell are you sneaking behind a girl?!" She shouted, only to be shushed by a worker who pointed to a 'quiet' sign.

The former Konoha shinobi couldn't hold in his smirk as Korren began to whisper-shout at him. "If you're following me because you find me attractive, you could've just asked me out," Naruto said, deciding to play this one cool, or at least what he thought was cool. Korren's face quickly matched her hair color as she denied it and hit him.

There was a consensus in his mind, "Tsundere." It made Naruto pause as he could hear Kyuubi's and the spirit's voices as well. 'Kyuubi? Spirit?' Naruto asked mentally. Being pushed out of the store, Naruto realized he was ignoring the redhead.

Once outside, the real shouting began. "How can you say something so ridiculous and then ignore me?!" The Namikaze got a funny idea as he put his hand over her head and quickly brought it back like he got burnt.

"Damn, I didn't know the flame head was literal." It looked like she was actually about to blow up after he pulled that stunt. Pulling her to the side, he started whispering to her. "We're in public right now. Do you seriously want to have this be gossip around the entire school? I can imagine the headline now. Uzumaki girl follows new student then yells at him for catching her."

That shut her up as her face started to return to normal color. "Now that you're calm, why were you following me?" She moved his arms from her shoulders and crossed her own. "I was trying to see something suspicious."

Naruto gave her the most deadpan look he'd ever put on. "Suspicious? What could I possibly do that's suspicious?" She shook her head. "I don't know, but there's something up with you." She wasn't wrong, he was hiding a lot of things.

"What's going to get you to stop following me like a puppy dog? On a side note, you need to learn how to follow someone properly." The Uzumaki girl looked him in the eyes. "Tell me what you're hiding."

Naruto deadpanned again. "Do you know how little that narrows it down? I was a shinobi, I have many secrets." The female huffed and puffed. "Tell me why you knew Lieutenant Umino's son but you said you're an Iwa shinobi."

The Namikaze could've easily lied his way out of it but he decided to mix in a little truth, for fun. "I went to the Konoha academy for a few years before the orphanage was shut down and I was thrown to the streets.

"I was adopted by an Iwa shinobi who took me to Iwa, where I lived until I died." Korren gave him a look of disbelief. "There's no reason to hide that, I don't believe you." Naruto sighed, "Fine. I was a Konoha shinobi before I defected and became a bounty hunter. I died on a bounty mission given to me by the Tsuchikage. You happy now?"

Naruto grew a plan within his head as he made himself look sad. "I don't like talking about my defection because I think I'm a failure of a shinobi, and a disappointment to my family." That last part was a truth he didn't mean to throw in there.

The girl felt embarrassed at herself, she now remembered why people kept secrets. 'I'm sorry." Naruto shook his head and had to hide his amusement.

"Just don't tell anyone, okay?" The girl nodded as Naruto looked at his watch. "I've got to go, please don't tell anyone." With that, he left and made his way into a crowd to disappear. While he walked, a voice appeared in his head once more.

'You're a dick sometimes.' After calling for either of his tenants in his head for a few minutes, he gave up. Sighing, the boy sucked on his teeth. He was becoming sour about the whole thing. At least, he had information on it unlike back in the human world.

After getting into the academy, he often went to the library to read up on zanpakuto spirits. What he had figured over the past week was that the spirit was his zanpakuto spirit, and he just needed the training to talk to it. Why he was able to speak to it in the human world, he had no idea.

From what Ryoga had told him, one must imprint on an Asauchi with their soul and meditate with the sword for an extended period of time to even communicate with the spirit. After enough time, the sword becomes your zanpakuto and you will be able to communicate freely with the spirit within the 'inner world'.

In addition, the spirits are supposed to be extremely hostile and moody. So much so that you have to fight them to be able to learn their name. It made the Uzumaki think that maybe that was the reason that he never learned his spirit's name, he had never truly fought him, only showed him some moves.

In addition to that, it made him wonder what the Kyuubi's presence would do since he was technically within his inner world, if the spirit's dimension was that world. There were a lot of questions that he'd have to put on hold as he saw a "Help Wanted" sign on a shop.

The store name read "Kin Cho", or Gold Butterfly. The teen entered to see racks upon racks of hats ranging from bucket hats to flat caps. Walking up to the counter, he dinged the bell and a man walked up front.

He was a normal-looking fellow with brown hair, brown eyes, and an oval-shaped face. "Morning, how may I help you?" Naruto pointed at the application on the desk. "I was hoping to apply part-time. I'm a student at the Shinigami Academy and would like some cushion funds."

The man nodded. "Walk over here with me." He led Naruto to the side, out of the way of any customers that would want to checkout. "The pay is 353 kan an hour with four hours a day for seven days a week and your check is biweekly. You can pick your hours on the weekends with your weekday being from 3:30 to 7:30."

Naruto was a little surprised. "You're pretty prepared for a student part-timer." He chuckled. The man nodded. "Every shop around here has a student worker plan. You can only work 28 hours a week after all."

The Uzumaki spun the application in front of him around and looked up. "Something to write with please?" The man handed him a pen and he started writing down the needed information. The form didn't take long and Naruto handed it over.

"You can call me Mr. Senoka, or boss…" He looked at the application. "Masao. When would you like to start?" The teen thought about it for a bit. "Tomorrow will work, do I need certain clothes?" Mr. Senoka shook his head.

"Just wear whatever, I got a vest you put over it." As Naruto looked at his watch, he saw he still had a few hours until he had to be back at school. "Actually, I can start training now, I don't have to be back at the academy until 12."

Mr. Senoka smiled and moved over as he lifted the little counter. "Well, come on back. Let's get you a vest to wear."

*A few hours later*

Naruto ran through the Sereitei cursing himself. He just had to have a customer that couldn't choose between one hat or another. At the damned register too! He had three minutes to get into the auditorium and he was a solid 5 minutes away.

The curses on his body weren't options because of the drawbacks so he was left running at normal speed. Sure, he was still fast, but not fast enough to get there in the time he wanted.

The boy had one option left, which was to try a shunpo, which he learned from Ryoga was the shinigami's shunshin. Unfortunately, he was never told how it worked so experimenting was the route he was going to take.

If jumping was accomplished by using the spiritual energy to boost your feet up then maybe running faster was pushing it forward. He was a little wrong but it got the job done. His speed almost tripled as the wind made his eyes water and his lips go dry.

No moisture existed in his mouth or eyes anymore but he got to the school within 2 minutes so it didn't matter. Having a spare minute, he fixed his hair in one of the windows and drank some water from a fountain before heading inside.

He went into the auditorium just in time as the Headmaster walked up to the podium. "I hope you all enjoyed your tour of our campus and learned some interesting things from your guide. As I said earlier you're here to receive your dorm and schedule but you will also be getting a small lecture from me."

The man cleared his throat and fixed his collar. "As you all know, the basis of almost all shinigami techniques include spiritual energy, so I am going to give a small lecture about it. Spiritual energy has two main forms; spiritual pressure, and spiritual power.

The difference between the two is spiritual power is the potential, or power, stored within the body. Spiritual pressure is the amount that you can release from your body. These two usually go hand in hand as those with high power exert higher pressure.

In truth, spiritual power is the fuel for all the techniques. Since it is the fuel for all techniques, I wanted to give you guys some advice on controlling it. Don't try to force it out, you must let it flow and if your will is strong enough, it will follow your flow. Now, I wasn't lying when I said it was going to be short so I want those with last names A-D to head up here to the table right in front of the stage to receive your dorm and schedule."

The groups went up, got their stuff, and were guided out in an orderly fashion for a couple of minutes until Naruto was called up. Once at the table, he gave his last name and was handed a piece of paper.

"Your dorm is on the top, along with your class number. Below is the schedule. You already have your key." Naruto was guided away so quickly that he was unable to read the paper. Once he was in the hall, he broke away to the side and took a look at it.

Ignoring his dorm number, he saw he was in class 1, as expected. His schedule was Hakuda, Hoho, Zanjutsu, then Kido. A shrug was given as he folded it up and put it in his pocket. The teen decided to go up the stairs before the crowd got there and was soon in his dorm room.

When he entered, he saw a few sets of clothing sitting on his bed. Figuring it to be the uniform, he slid them all into the closet except for one that he looked at. It consisted of a blue undershirt, a white shirt with blue stripes, blue trousers, white socks, and sandals. On both breasts was a circular symbol that he knew was the academy's symbol.

He stuffed it into the closet with the rest and plopped onto his bed. There was nothing else planned for the day so the Uzumaki sat in a meditative pose on his bed, trying to enter his inner world as he did before. If he could get the help of Kyuubi and his spirit then he'd be able to solve his girl-related problems faster.

The teen was unsuccessful for what felt like hours until he heard a wind gust carry something across the ground. Opening his eyes, he was within the house where his spirit lived. "Hello?! Is anyone there?!" He shouted, hoping to find someone.

It seemed to be in vain as the place was abandoned. The teen searched the entire compound, including the Kyuubi's house to find nothing. Whenever he got back to the yard that he usually trained on, a sword sat upon a stand that was just on the ground.

The sword had a black handle, a black square guard, and a black scabbard. Hoping it to be his, Naruto reached down only for a cut to appear on his hand. "Fiesty bastard. Just you wait until I get my Asauchi."

Naruto exited the realm and glanced at his alarm to see it was 10:30. "Fuck, I better go take a shower." Not even noticing the lack of a roommate, he left for the showers.

*Within Naruto's inner world*

The black sword that sat on the ground shook violently and floated upwards until the blade shot out of the scabbard. The two components started to forge themselves anew. The blade was shortened to a wakizashi and colored a pitch black. The guard grew a gold color as its form was changed into a Sakura blossom.

The weave on the handle dyed a red color and the kashira flared up a bright gold as 8 lines were etched in pointing from the center. From the center, a red tassel appeared. The blade stopped shaking and guided itself into the newly green scabbard with a red cord.

Whenever they came together, two new designs burned into the scabbard. One, right in front of the guard was a fox head shape surrounded by blowing Sakura flowers. The second was a cross sitting in the middle of a shield right at the end of the scabbard. The wakizashi slowly lowered itself back onto its stand, staying steady as could be.

*The next morning*

Naruto sat in the cafeteria, having just finished his breakfast. He'd woken up a bit earlier than needed, for some unknown reason, so he came down at the right time as the bell rung. It was nice not having to fight a line and be able to eat in relative peace. Oddly enough no one approached him the entire time, but he just guessed people didn't like loners.

Just as the first 30 minutes passed, he saw the second wave of students appear. Among them was most of the student council. Naruto just shook his head, 'slackers' he thought. As he expected, when they got their food, they headed to him.

Once they sat down, Esper looked at Naruto like he was crazy. "You know how much spiritual pressure you're emitting right now, right?" The teen's confused face told them all they needed to know.

"Your spiritual pressure is escaping like crazy, it's why there's no one sitting even remotely close." Looking around, the tables that surrounded him were empty and people were standing to eat. Naruto made an oops face and focused on the spiritual pressure he was releasing. It was a lot of pressure, so much so that it hurt when he cut it down.

Looking at the council, he got several thumbs up while they stuffed their faces with breakfast. "Esper, thanks for the watch by the way. It's a real lifesaver." The VP just nodded as he continued to eat.

Once he saw one of them stop eating to breathe, he asked a question. "Can I go ahead to my first class?" Raian, who was the one that stopped to breathe, nodded. "Yeah but it depends on the teacher. Who do you got?"

Naruto pulled his schedule out and told his first class. "Oh, Mrs. Torigane doesn't mind. She might ask you to help set up some stuff for today's class but that's about it. Congrats on the first class by the way."

The Uzumaki gave a quick thank you before leaving. Once he was gone, the student council looked at each other. "How could he not have noticed he was seeping that much pressure?" Ryoga asked.

His only response was a few head shakes. "No idea, but if he didn't notice that much pressure, how much does he have?" Tsuna questioned. That was a scary question. "I knew he was a monster from the moment I saw him. 126 kan says he graduates early, at least before his 4th year." Raian said.

Esper pulled out his coin pouch. "300 says he graduates before his third year." Bets were soon taken in by Ryoga, the treasurer. "I'll keep these safe"

Naruto, who had just gotten to the ground floor, was lucky that all he had to do was go down to the ground floor for his first block as some students were already trying to make their way across campus for their first class. Silently thanking something for blessing him, the teen arrived at his class roughly 15 minutes before class would start and knocked on the open door.

Mrs. Torigane was setting up a tapestry on the wall so Naruto jogged over to help. Once it was up, he took a step back. "You know class doesn't start for a while, right?" Mrs. Torigane asked, getting off a step ladder. Naruto nodded,

"I was bored in the cafeteria so I just decided to come here." The woman couldn't blame him, sitting in that loud room was boring. "Alright then, you can help me set up. Grab that med kit right there." Naruto grabbed the med kit from across the room and handed it to her.

"What lesson on the first day requires a med kit?" The woman grinned maliciously. "Before I teach anything, I need to know what level you guys are at. It's pretty much all the first day is, just figuring out the students' levels. Now, go grab that broom, we gotta clean a bit."

He helped her clean up and soon, the floor was sparkly clean. "That's all I needed help with. You can just sit around for the remaining five minutes." Naruto did just that, he walked to the wall beside the door and sat down.

With the free time, he decided to read the tapestry they put up. 'Do not seek beauty in battle. Do not seek virtue in death. Do not make the mistake of considering only your own life. If you wish to protect that which you must protect, slice the enemy you must defeat from behind.'

In short, don't get yourself killed for stupid reasons as you're responsible for many lives other than your own. If needed, forsake your honor and win. Naruto whistled at it. That would be very controversial in the shinobi world, especially among the older generations.

He could practically hear his Jiji complaining about it. The old ghost's complaining was cut short as the bell rang and the students flooded in. Naruto counted them as they came in, and along with himself, there were 18 of them.

Much to his ire, there was one redhead that looked to be an Uzumaki. He swore they were like ants or some other common bug. It wasn't like he could badmouth them though, he saw an Uzumaki every morning in the mirror, but damn were they everywhere.

Mrs. Torigane waited for the second bell before clapping her hands together to get their attention. "Good morning, today's your first day which means I have a few things to tell you about before it's time to see your levels. First of all, you may pass this class early if you can pass a test after the first semester, but it isn't a required test. Second, the whole point of Hakuda is to make sure you aren't hopeless if you lose your zanpakuto, so please don't try to use a weapon.

Third all the rules of my class are on that piece of paper right there on the wall, so make sure you go read those. Just have common sense and you'll be fine.

Now, to those who already know some hand-to-hand arts, don't worry, we won't make you switch styles. The moves that we teach are supposed to be able to mix with any style. To those that don't know any, I'll find one that suits you and build you up. " She decided to show one of the moves, getting into a stance, she performed an open palm punch that created a small gust.

"That was Tessho, just a simple open palm that is made stronger with spiritual energy. As you can see, it's a very broad move and can be performed in many places. Now, to show your level, you are going to fight me in a short bout. I won't go too hard so don't worry." The students all glanced at the med kit on the floor before Mrs. Torigane slid in front of it.

"Don't worry about that. Now, who's first?" No hands came up so she began looking for her pick. "You, you were to first in here so you should have the first fight." Naruto sighed and walked up. Sliding into his stance, Mrs. Torigane noted his gloves.

"Those aren't up to dress code. You're going to have to take them off." Naruto sucked on his teeth. "My hands are heavily burned and quite nasty. I'd rather not show them." The woman nodded.

"I'll send you to the office for the exemption after our fight." The Uzumaki nodded his thanks and waited for her to say go. He had to wait a little longer as she gave him a question. "What's your name?"

The Uzumaki cracked his neck before responding. "Masao Nari, ma'am." She nodded and slid into a stance as well. The moment Naruto heard the word go exit her mouth, his left leg kicked out to shin level which she jumped back to dodge.

Changing the move to account for him not having a sword, he closed his right fist as he swung it down right above her left collarbone. The woman caught the fist and watched his left hand go for an open palm strike on her open diaphragm.

Catching that as well, Naruto dropped his body and brought up his right foot for a chin kick. A simple move of her head was enough to dodge it and the Uzumaki used the momentum to pull her towards him. With her being pulled towards him, he crouched and kicked off for his head to smack into her throat.

It connected but she didn't move an inch. "Your style is interesting, although a bit self-destructive. I understand you're trying to make sure they can't block with their hands being occupied but it's a double-edged sword.

I do like the headbutt form, you braced so you wouldn't break your neck. Not bad at all. Go ahead to the office." Naruto retrieved his hands from his teacher's grasp before walking away.

Unintentionally, he cracked his neck again while passing the other students, which scared the hell out of them. Watching him leave, Mrs. Torigane had a few thoughts. 'That style was complete improv except for the stance and kick. It must be a Zanjutsu that he modified. That's brats got a hard head too' She could feel a little bit of pain every time she breathed,

In the hallway, Naruto cursed at himself. He knew she was many levels above him but for her not to react to his hit? That was embarrassing. Thinking back to what the doctor in Nami told him, he guessed that putting on a few pounds would be advantageous along with going to the gym.

On his way to the office, a plan formed in his mind. He would wake up early enough in the morning to get a good workout in and then start his day. His sleep would probably be pushed back to 9-5 but it would be alright.

Once Naruto got into the office, the woman up front looked disappointed. "Did you get in trouble already?" The black-haired teen shook his head. "Not exactly, I just forgot to ask for a dress code exemption."

She nodded and pulled out a slip of paper that she set on the desk. "Fill that out, then go hand it to the headmaster." Naruto grabbed the paper and one of the pens before going to sit down. The small slip only had a couple of prompts, his name, what part of the dress code he wanted to be exempt from, and a place for the headmaster's signature.

Filling them both out, he hoped that the headmaster wouldn't ask to see his hands but a lie was easy to make for why he didn't want to show them. Walking up to the office, he knocked on the open door before entering. "Masao, good morning. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Naruto just handed him the slip. "I see, do you mind if I take a look?" The teen shook his head. "I'd rather not, they're really nasty and it makes people uncomfortable." The Kuchiki nodded in understanding.

"Very well, I'll let your teachers know. Since you have an exemption, you gotta carry this slip around with you." He pulled a pen from its holder and signed the paper before handing it over

Naruto thanked him and walked back to class while reading the exempt paper. 'Masao Nari is exempt from the dress code related to gloves. Signed Ason Kuchiki.' The paper was placed in the same pocket as his schedule and he entered his classroom.

The teen entered at the perfect time to see the Uzumaki get put on his ass. A small laugh came from the crowd of other students which made Mrs. Torigane mad. "No, don't laugh at your classmates. Especially him, he was doing very well, the only mistake I saw was the simple mistake of him losing balance."

That shut them up quite fast and Naruto watched as the next student wasn't given much of a chance. He overthrew his weight in a punch and she kicked out his legs. "Next." As the rest of his classmates got destroyed, the Uzumaki made his way to Naruto.

Taking a look at him, he reminded Naruto of someone. His light red hair, kind and soft face along with his blue eyes. For a second, he believed him to maybe be his brother but his facial structure matched neither of his parents.

"Masao, was it? My sister has been talking about you." That told him all he needed to know. The kid was Korren's brother. "Good things, I hope." He shook his head. "She called you a perverted liar."

Naruto stared at the kid with a face of disbelief. She wasn't wrong but it hurt his pride. An idea appeared in his mind. "Oh yeah? Does your family have dinner together?" The younger Uzumaki nodded.

"Make sure to tell them how she was following me yesterday. I bet they'll get a real kick out of it." The boy didn't seem surprised. "She thinks she's some kind of detective. I'll make sure to tell them so they can scold her again."

The boy put some emphasis on 'again'. While doing so, Naruto noticed the kid was quite young. "How old are you, kid?" The little bugger seemed to get annoyed. "It's Kimura, not kid and I'm 12."

The older Uzumaki patted his younger counterpart's head. "Nice, that's about the age that I graduated from the shinobi academy." Kimura gave him a look that said he didn't care. "Damn, kids these days are so cold."

Another slam brought their attention back to the teacher. She'd just put another student on his ass who needed his friend's help getting up. "Alright, I've seen your levels, just take a break while I go write some stuff down."

All the students dropped to the floor and began grouping up. Quite a few scurried over to the two Uzumaki. The glare that Naruto gave scared them off, which seemed to piss Kimura off as he stared at him with a dead straight face with a slight pout. "I'm trying to get some bitches, man."

Naruto couldn't stop himself from laughing. That was the last thing he expected to come out of the kid's mouth. While rubbing away his tears, he looked up at the kid. "Yeah? Well, aren't you a little player?"

Kimura huffed and crossed his arms. "God damn right." The Namikaze started laughing so hard that he started coughing. While coughing up a lung, he tried to speak. "Alright, Pimp, what type of bitches you trynna get?"

The younger Uzumaki reached his hands out and cupped them. "Some fat ass bitches." Holding in his breath and regaining his posture, Naruto started smiling like an insane person. "And how do you plan to get these fat ass bitches?"

The little boy flexed his scrawny arms. "Growing strong." Naruto nodded. "To grow truly strong, distractions such as women must be disregarded and you must find a reason within yourself to be your drive." The younger Uzumaki gave a look of betrayal. "What? Were you raised by a sage or something?" Naruto had a fake look of surprise.

"How'd you know?" The younger Uzumaki began to scoot away only to be pulled closer by his relative. "You see when I was a wee little lad, the sage would leave me in caves to fend for myself, that's how I got strong. I think I might do the same to you."

The amount of pride that entered Naruto as he saw the horror on the young boy's face was worth it. "I'm kidding. I didn't meet the sage until I was 12, then he threw me into the caves."

A cackle emanated from Naruto at Kimura's face but he soon calmed back down. "Kidding, again. But I'm being serious about women. You gotta think about what you're going to do after. Let's say you grow so strong that you get all the bitches in the soul society."

He saw the boy staring into space and smacked him in the back of the head. With a threatening tone, he whispered, "Listen or else I throw you in the cave." That did the trick and he continued with his story.

"As I was saying, you get all the bitches in the soul society and you stop training because you achieved your goal. Then, someone stronger than you comes and takes them all. You can't catch up with him because you're so out of training.

Now, imagine if your goal was to become the strongest and stay there. You'd continue to train and never be surpassed." The younger boy nodded in understanding. "Then I'd keep all the bitches."

Naruto chuckled a bit. "Having a bunch of bitches means nothing if they will just leave you later on. Plus, have you ever heard your mother nagging at you?" The boy nodded. "Now, imagine if all the bitches were nagging you at the same time."

The look of realization made the Namikaze smile. "You see, you got to find you a girl that's loyal and loves you for who you are instead of your power. Find one of them and you'll see that they're better than having all the bitches in the world."

Naruto frowned at his own advice. 'I do need to get out of here as soon. I am starting to really miss her.' He needed to establish that link with his spirit as soon as possible, the wisdom from him would be quite useful and well, the power would help him graduate sooner.

After Naruto got out of his thoughts, Mrs. Torigane appeared again. "Alright, I have listed one thing you need to fix about your fighting on these slips. I'll let you get into pairs and I'll hand you the slip with your problems and how your partner should act to help fix this problem. You and your partner should work on this until the end of class."

Naruto got up from his seated position and soon took his slip of paper. He seemed to have done that a lot in the time he was in the Seireitei. Shaking away that thought, a glance was given to the slip.

It said that he needed to work on not getting his hands caught, and his partner should only work on dodging and catching said appendages. Finding the younger Uzumaki, he handed his slip over.

After receiving Kimura's, he read it. It stated that he needed to work on balancing and that the partner was to only dodge and perform leg kicks. He almost felt sorry for the child until he saw him holding his hands like a claw's pincers.

Throwing down the paper, the teen loosened his belt a little bit. He changed his mind, he was going to decimate the child.
