OMGs GUYS! This is the last reaping chapter! After these chapters, the next will be the tributes saying goodbye to their families in the Justice building. I will not write one of those chapters for everybody, just the ones that have people actually visiting, therefore tributes like Annabeth, Leo, and Nico will not have chapters of people saying goodbye to them. Also let me know in reviews if you want a Goodbye Octavian chapter, or if I should just ignore him. Now for the reaping of district 12...
District 12
"Piper Mclean!"
Piper wasn't ready; she had never thought that she would get picked; her father was the mayor; she always thought that that would help her chances of not getting picked. Piper's dad always told her that it was a possibility, and he had told her if that happened to walk up to the stage with a small smile and head held high. He said that she should act like a career; the Capital liked that; she was more likely to get sponsored that way. Even though her father had told her it was a possibility, she never thought she would ever need to use his advice.
Piper walked to the stage hoping she was doing everything right and didn't look like a weirdo. Her first mistake was looking into the crowd to try to find her father's face in the crowd. He was crying, and just seeing him cry made the tears in her eyes well up. She looked away. She had to look strong, she couldn't cry right now. It was the only way to win, and the only she would ever see her dad again.
Luke always had thought that he was a little bit too good for district 12. He always believed that he deserved more. He even looked different than everybody else. His blond hair and blue eyes stuck out in district 12 where everyone had dark hair and dark eyes. He lived in the seam, where all the poor people lived. He had to provide for himself because his mother was crazy. She didn't do anything except make sandwiches anymore, and in case you're wondering, she steals the materials to make said sandwiches.
Luke hunted; he wasn't supposed to, but that got him food. Well, he hunted for some of his food. What he couldn't get in the woods outside of the district, he had stollen.
When his name was called to compete in the Games, he wasn't really that nervous. He was good at hunting, and all the games really is hunting. Just instead of animals, Luke would be hunting people, and how different could that really be? Luke felt pretty good about his chances.
And that's the reaping chapters! I'm wondering, now that you know all of the tributes, who are you hoping wins? Let me know in reviews!
