The World Has Fallen

Chapter 13

Atlas: AND. HERE. WE. GO.

DWK: Chapter 13 is here!

Adventure Bay FOB

Military Headquarters Building

Both Redstone and Dijak burst into the General's office where the General was talking to Lupe and Artemis about something when the fox and the hybrid came bursting into the office. Lupe and Artemis gave them a questioning look while the General just looked on with an emotionless look on his face. Redstone and Dijak took a deep breath before getting into a proper stance.

"Apologizes for barging in like this sir, but I have something important to discuss with Lupe and Artemis," said Dijak.

Very well. Lupe, Artemis, you're both dismissed," said the General.

"Yes, Sir," said Lupe and Artemis as they saluted to the General and left with Dijak and Redstone.

Once the four canines were back outside, Curtis was walking by and saw that Lupe, Artemis, and Redstone were talking to Dijak, a low growl escaping his throat. Curtis walked up to hand Lupe a report on the status of their forces around the world. Curtis also decided to dig deep into Dijak's family history and found something really interesting in regard to his demonic personality but decided to keep that information to himself until he was confident that what he found out was correct. Curtis decided on a plan that he knew his parents would not approve of, but he knew what he was doing and it didn't matter what good things anyone said about Dijak, Curtis didn't trust him and he wasn't going to let a dangerous demon freak get his paws on a highly dangerous device of unknown origin.

"Now I know we're probably not supposed to leave the base, but this needs to be looked into as soon as possible before Slasher, Storm, or Sylvia become aware of this," said Dijak.

Lupe knows that Dijak was right, first his sister reveals that Dijak and Rocky secretly have a younger brother named Valor, and then this morning a message was sent by someone named Valor. Now Lupe couldn't tell if this was a trap but he didn't like how the dots were being connected here. However, Lupe also knows that Chase would not appreciate it if he just let Dijak without consulting with him first.

"Chase and Everest are already on a C-17 heading for Colorado to assist Fuchs and Rosalie in fending off an attack from Storm's gang. Rocky, Danny, Smoke, Delta, and Robyn are with them. I will get you and your team a C-130 plane to head for Colorado so you can talk it over with Chase since you and your boys are now under his command, but if he says no then that means no, don't pull any bullshit," said Lupe.

"I promise I'll respect Chase's authority," said Dijak.

"Go get any gear you'll need, and I'll get the plane ready, " said Lupe.

Dijak smiled and ran off to collect his stuff while Lupe went off to secure a plane for Dijak and his team. Within the hour Dijak, Smokey, Shadow, and Cyanide were sitting in the cargo hold of a C-130, Dijak's charger was loaded into the plane as well.

"So, you really think Chase would allow you and Rocky to head off to who knows where so you could find answers about this Valor person and retrieve a dangerous device?" Asked Shadow.

"I hope so Shade, I really hope so," said Dijak before falling asleep with the others falling asleep a few minutes later.

However unknown to Dijak and his crew, Curtis stowed away on the plane and was busy looking at an article about the spirit of a demonic wolf that roamed around the land of Hell and was sent to the land of the living to do Satan's bidding. However what made Curtis very curious was that the picture that showed what this demonic wolf looked like was what Dijak looks like when he turns into his alter ego, Nightmare.

"Interesting, very interesting," thought Curtis as he continued to look over the article.

Nightwatcher's Bunker

Time: 1000 Hours UTC -7

Fuchs was on the outside of the base. In front of him was an entire battalion worth of soldiers from the Colorado Army National Guard. Three companies of mechanized infantry, a company of heavily armed Blackhawks, and a company worth of the Green Berets Special Forces Group 5-19th from Fort Carson.

Several Blackhawks at this time were patrolling and keeping a lookout for anything from the air.

Soon enough Fuchs's radio came to life, "Alpha Major Blitzkrieg. This is Elbert-1."

"Go ahead Elbert-1," Fuchs responded.

"We have detected three aircraft. ETA three minutes. C-17 and two F-22s. Must be Alpha Colonel Hunter." Elbert-1 responded that was a radar tower nearby.

"Roger that Elbert 1. They should be jumping soon. Keep me posted," Fuchs said as he went to his room in the base.

Fuchs then contacted Chase to see if it was him, "Chase, it's Fuchs."

"What is it, Fuchs?" Chase said over the radio.

"Wondering where the hell you are," Fuchs shot back.

"We are landing at Centennial Airport. We will be getting on Blackhawks and heading over as fast as possible. The truck and equipment that we can not take will be trucked over with a convoy from Crusader Security. We can thank Robyn for that." Chase said over the radio. Fuchs now had a good idea of what was going on.

"Roger that, Chase. Look forward to seeing you soon," Fuchs said finishing up the short conversation.

"Likewise Fuchs. Hold the fort until we get there," Chase finished and the call ended. Fuchs then went back outside where Rosalie was waiting for him with LTC Fisher from the Colorado Guard.

"Chase and Everest are on their way. They will be coming in Blackhawks along with some others that we have picked up from Dijak's former team," Fuchs reported to them.

"Good. We are going to need the extra help," LTC Fisher stated.

"The problem with that is the fellow people that are coming were either CIA agents with barely any combat experience or canines who have only tagged along because they had no other choice. So none of them have an experience to what is about to happen," Fuchs informed the LTC.

"Guess they'll get that experience today then," LTC Fished added.

"I just got information that Dijak and his three other remaining team members will be arriving shortly via C-130. They will be jumping and the plane will continue on to Colorado Springs Airport. Were another Convoy will retrieve their remaining gear," Rosalie reported to the other two.

"Now there are some experienced soldiers," LTC Fisher stated a bit happier with the fact that Dijak and whoever is left of his team are on their way as well.

"Commander, Sir!" shouted one of the NCOs, "We have reports that the Royal Cartel is moving in."

"Thank you, Sergeant Major," Fisher saluted the soldier and they would do the same, "Get everyone battle ready."

"Yes sir," the Sergeant Major said as he ran off to get the soldiers ready.

"The next question to ask is how in the world did Storm get his goons this far without tripping alarms?" Rosalie asked.

"Probably that mole in the government or whoever Rocky and Delta found," Fuchs stated looking out over all the men and women getting ready for battle.

"Let's just hope we can fight them off," Fisher finished for the both of them, "Right now, let's focus on not dying.

"Right," the two arctic foxes said and got their weapons out.

Dijak woke up from his nap when he heard a small clang. Looking up he saw that Shadow, Smokey, and Cyanide were still asleep, so without disturbing them, Dijak grabbed one of his SAI RED pistols and went to investigate the noise. As Dijak moved around the plane searching for whoever made the noise his nose caught the familiar scent of a certain young gray wolf.

"Curtis, what the fuck are you doing here?" Asked Dijak as he tried not to yell and wake his friends up.

A pair of eyes suddenly appeared from around the corner with a file in his mouth. Curtis dropped the file before kicking it over to Dijak who put his front left paw on it and looked at it with curiosity.

"What's this?" Asked Dijak.

"I've been doing research on how the thing that gave you your demonic side was even thought of and created in the first place," said Curtis.

"Your point is?" Asked Dijak.

"I think your demonic side came from a book called Hell's Gate; it was uncovered when Adventure Bay was constructed for the very first time. It ended up in the CIA's hands, and they stored it away. However, a few years ago, when a top-secret division of the CIA was formed, they had a group of canines investigate the book and where it came from," explained Curtis.

"My parents, my and Rocky's parents, were working on something called Hell's Gate when Ethan and Maria killed them," said Dijak.

"If you're implying that your parents' names were Raven and Eclipse, then yes, you are correct, Mr. Crossfang," said Curtis.

"Now what was so important that you had to sneak aboard this plane and probably give your parents heart attacks when they find out you stowed away without their knowledge?" Asked Dijak.

"My parents will be fine as long as I come back in one piece. Anyway, the reason why I snuck aboard is that I wanted to see if I was right about your demon," said Curtis walking over to Dijak.

"What do you mean by that?" Asked Dijak.

Curtis let out a sigh before rubbing a paw over his head and speaking, "Your demon is actually the spirit of a demonic wolf from Hell. They called it Ghost and apparently if I'm right the way you are now should be different, but I think that a part of your genetic coding may be fucked up."

"Hey, what do you mean my genetic coding is fucked up. Are you trying to tell me that I'm not supposed to look like this?" Asked Dijak.

"I don't know that's why I was wondering if I could come with you to Paris, France because I might be able to find more answers to my research," Curtis explained.

Dijak rubbed his front paws in his face letting out a groan of frustration, of course, something like this was going to happen. I mean nothing is ever easy anymore.

"Okay first things first, I don't know if Chase is even going to allow me and Rocky to go to Paris, I mean we are in WWIII, and I don't think we have the time to be going on a wild goose chase. Second, if Chase does allow me and Rocky to go to Paris and that's a big if, why in the hell should I take you? No offense but I really don't want to get skinned alive by your parents if you come back injured or dead," said Dijak as he explained to Curtis why this was a bad idea.

"I will take full responsibility for my actions, and I will let my parents know that none of it was your fault," said Curtis.

"Fine, but if your parents lose their shit or something this was not my idea, now come on we got to wake the guys up and prepare to drop," said Dijak as he walked over to his sleeping friends.

"Guys, get up and get ready," said Dijak.

Shadow, Smokey, and Cyanide groaned but proceeded to get up and get ready. All three saw that Curtis was with them, but Dijak signaled them not to ask, so they didn't. The Task Force Wild Card members were now dressed in black pants, a custom-made bullet-proof black long-sleeve compression shirt with a hood, black combat boots on their hind paws, black combat gloves on their front paws, and a custom-made lightweight black jean-style bullet-proof jacket with their Task Force Wild Card badge on the shoulder of their right foreleg, Shadow was wearing the same outfit, but instead of black, he was in a dark green uniform with the same type of black jacket as the rest of them. Cyanide was in a black vest with the Task Force Wild Card badge on the back. Smokey looked at the Task Force Wild Card badge on his uniform and ripped it off, something that didn't go unnoticed by Dijak and Shadow.

"Smokey, you okay?" Asked Shadow.

"No Shade, I'm not okay, and I'm sorry, Dijak, but I don't think that I can use the Task Force Wild Card name anymore," said Smokey.

Dijak, Shadow, and Cyanide looked at each other and decided to rip their own Task Force Wild Card badges off of their uniforms. Dijak and Shadow along with Smokey are still haunted by the fact that their brothers were killed right in front of them and Cyanide was still horrified by the fact that his two closest friends that he has ever known were murdered right before he even got a change to say anything to them.

"So if we no longer want to be called Task Force Wild Card, any suggestions on a new name?" Asked Dijak.

"Nope," said Smokey.

"No clue," said Shadow.

"I have no idea," said Cyanide.

"I'm going to call guys the Lethal Assassination Xchange or LAX 1304," said Curtis.

Three pairs of eyes turned to the gray wolf, who was sitting on a crate with a smile on his face. Dijak, Shadow, Smokey, and Cyanide looked at each other before looking back at Curtis.

"Where did this name come from?" Asked Shadow.

"Well, I see you guys as lethal assassins, and you would do things in exchange for something in return, so I decided to call you guys Lethal Assassination Xchange. As for the LAX 1304, well, the LAX is the initials of your name, and 1304 comes from the two numbers 13 and 4. The 13 is known as triskaidekaphobia, and according to Norse mythology, 12 gods were having a dinner party in Valhalla. The trickster god Loki, who was not invited, arrived as the 13th guest and arranged for Hodur to shoot Balder with a mistletoe-tipped arrow. Balder died, and the whole Earth got dark, and the whole Earth mourned. It was a bad, unlucky day and because of this this major event in Norse mythology, caused the number 13 to be considered unlucky. Stephen King has triskaidekaphobia, and since Stephen King is known as the King of Horror I thought that the number 13 would be perfect for you horror animals," explained Curtis.

"Who are you calling horror animals, pup," said Smokey letting out a snarl while Shadow and Cyanide let out a hiss.

Dijak put a paw in the air to silence them; of course, he wasn't too happy being called a horror animal, but he just decided to suck it up and deal with it.

"It's fine, Curtis, but what does the 4 mean?" Asked Dijak.

"It isn't obvious; I mean, there are four of you, so…," said Curtis as he trailed off, thinking they would get it.

"Well played there, Curtis, but I don't think Chase would be approved of a name like this," said Dijak as he started to scratch behind his right ear.

"Stop being a scaredy cat, and don't worry, I'll deal with Chase if he asks about the logo on your vest," said Curtis.

Dijak and the other's eyes narrowed in confusion, and they proceeded to use a small mirror to see that Curtis had secretly used a drone to put a logo on the back of their vest. The logo was two white M4-style rifles crisscrossing behind the letters LAX, which are also in white, and below the LAX letters is a white bar with the words Lethal Assassination Xchange in black. Also, each of the LAX letters has two black bullet-syle circles in them, causing the LAX letters to look cracked and damaged. Once Dijak and his team were done looking at the newly made logo, they looked back to Curtis, who was walking away but stopped, turned around, and blew them a kiss before disappearing around the corner of a large crate.

"I hate him so much," said Dijak as the others nodded in agreement but continued to get ready for the drop.

Centennial Airport, Colorado, USA

Time: 1010 Hours UTC -7

Chase did his prechecks to ensure he had everything from his weapons and other tech. He discarded the 'shield' the fake Dijak provided a while ago. Everest was doing the same while Robyn talked to her fellow Crusader employees. Rocky, Smoke, Danny, and Delta wouldn't know what to do. Three of them are only field agents, not highly trained combatants, unlike Chase and Everest. Rocky wasn't trained in anything but how to fix things. Sure, when America was preparing for the war, he and the rest of the PAW Patrol were rushed through some basic training but nothing too specialized.

"Chase! What do you want us to do?" the mix asked the German Shepherd, who had just finished loading a new magazine into his new Galiant laser rifle. Then his Ingram-40 Rail pistol and loaded his grenade launcher as well.

"Stay out of my way and grab a weapon. Preferably a kinetic rifle such as an M5," Chase told Rocky, not looking up from his Reaper Blades that he made sure were laced with Reaper. He also made sure his uniform was in battle mode. Due to being more robust and just better in every natural way, an exosuit would be more limiting for Chase and Everest than for Fuchs and Rosalie. However, their uniforms are still strong and protect their traditional red and black color.

"We want to help Chase," Danny argued.

"I understand that. So the best you can do is get a weapon and get on that damn hawk," Chase ordered, getting frustrated.

The four of them were taken aback by Chase's hostility. Everest wouldn't even acknowledge their existence, so all they could do was listen to Chase. They would all each grab a Sig Sauer M5 and then be issued some other gear from the Guardsmen who were there. Then they got on one of the three Blackhawks getting ready to start up.

Chase and Everest got into the lead hawk, and the flight started the engines.

Within moments, they'd take off and into the air. Only in a few minutes, will they be at the Nightwatcher Bunker.

XXX

Chase's Blackhawks would arrive only minutes after leaving Centennial Airport. Chase opened the side door as his helicopter was hovering over his drop zone. It was too rocky to land but threw a rope out, and there is your deployment area.

They jumped out of the helicopters with the gunners providing overwatch. On the ground, a squad was waiting for Chase, and anyone who came with him and Everest—all of them were keeping an eye out on all the hilltops and shadow areas.

When Chase hit the ground, he activated all his equipment, and his helmet came up to protect his face. The lead NCO of the squad, that was a Staff Sergeant, came up to Chase and spoke, "Good afternoon, sir."

"Good afternoon, Sergeant. Get me to my base and give me a run down on everything," Chase states as Everest lands next to him and other Crusader security forces. Rocky, Delta, Danny, and Smoke joined the group as they repealed down from their helicopter. They would have several Crusader exo-suits and weapons and be ready to fight.

"Yes sir," The Sergeant started to explain what was going on, "At this moment in time, Fuchs has gotten the support of several units from active and Colorado Army National Guard. We have two tank batteries, an artillery HIMARS battery, four infantry companies, a 75th Ranger Regiment platoon, and a single aviation company with armed Blackhawks. Adding the Crusaders, your team, and what remains of Dijak's team, who will arrive soon, I can say that we have all bases covered."

"Don't get too confident, Sergeant. My brother has a habit of making what we have ash. I just hope everyone knows their job and does it well," Chase told the sergeant as he and Everest came over a hill crest and were met with Fuchs and Rosalie.

"Welcome back, Chase. Ready to beat some terrorists into submission?" Fuchs asked Chase.

"Let's hope we have the undeniable advantage," Chase stated as he entered the FOB.

On the Plane with Dijak and his crew

"One minute until the drop, one minute," said Dijak as he and his team prepared to jump.

"Hey Dijak, let's hope Chase allows us to go to Paris because it could be a game changer for us," said Curtis.

"Well, whatever Chase says goes, understood," said Dijak.

"Yes, Dijak," responded everyone.

The light turned green, and the back of the plane opened up once it was fully open, Dijak, Shadow, Smokey, Cyanide, and Curtis jumped, and nose dived straight for the ground where the others should be located. As Dijak and his team made their way toward the ground, Dijak called Chase to let him know that they would be arriving soon.

"Alpha Captain Crossfang to Alpha Lt. Col. Hunter, we are out of the cage and descending to the ground towards your location, eta two minutes," said Dijak.

"Copy that. We'll be waiting for your arrival," said Chase.

Dijak ended the call and continued to dive toward the ground with his team to meet up with the rest of their friends.

"Deploy," said Dijak as he deployed his parachute with the other following his actions. Soon all five of them had their parachutes open and were gliding down safely.

Once they landed, they where met by a 2nd Lieutenant, "Welcome to Colorado, sir. Chase is waiting for you."

"Glad we could be of service, unfortunately, this is all we got," said Dijak

"I don't think Chase will mind and just be grateful for the extra help. In short, we cannot allow the Royal Cartel to get into the bunker. There is a bunch of classified tech and documents that have been harvested. The Nightwatchers are one of the main groups that guard that stuff. I also have no jurisdiction there, " the lieutenant informed the team.

"Well, the Royal Cartel had probably made the biggest fatal mistake by not killing me, Shade, Smokey, and Cyanide when they had plenty of perfect opportunities to do so, and now that were here, it's about time they receive their judgment day," said Dijak.

"Glad to hear it," he then pointed to the fortified hill into a mountain. Tanks, HIMARS, and several support vehicles were staged and ready. Helicopters could also be heard through the valley.

"Oh boy, I would love to see the Royal Cartel's faces when we light em' up like fireworks," said Smokey.

"I would love to get my tail around Storm's fucking neck," said Cyanide.

"Alright, you two, calm down. As much as I would like to get a piece of Storm myself, Chase and Storm have unfinished business with each other, and it's going to end with those two fightings each other until one of them is dead," said Dijak.

"That's a fight I would not want to get involved in, much less be anywhere near it when it goes down," said Shadow chuckling nervously.

"I am glad you all are motivated," said a voice coming close to them, "Going to need that, for the thugs have just passed one of our checkpoints." It was a canine in brand-new armor and completely covered. But the colors were unmistakable. Nightwatcher is red and black.

"Oh, trust me were more than motivated, but unfortunately, we picked up a stowaway when we were leaving," said Dijak.

"I can take care of myself, Demon," said a voice from behind Dijak.

Dijak turned his head to face Curtis with an irritated expression on his face, "I'm sure you can, but since you got on the plane without your parent's knowledge and added it to if you get hurt or worse killed, it's going to be my ass that gets skinned alive."

"Curtis?" Chase, has his helmet retracted to show his face, "What in the world are you doing here?"

"Well, one, I don't trust this freak of a psycho killer," said Curtis as he pointed at Dijak, who growled and made blue flames appear on the claws of his right front paw, "Second, I'm going with Dijak and Rocky to Paris to hunt for their so-called brother named Valor while also hunting for a dangerous device that could end the world as we know it."

"Wait, What?" Chase was surprised. Curtis was staging too much.

"CURTIS! You can't just blurt that out, and also, we don't even know what the hell this device is, so how can we tell if it's going to end the world," said Dijak.

"Well, we won't know for sure if you, me, and Rocky don't go to Paris and find out," said Curtis.

"SHUT IT!" Chase was agitated. Too much information was coming from them and then his communications.

"The freak started it," mumbled Curtis causing Dijak to snarl at the gray wolf pup.

"I SAID SHUT UP!" Chase growled, baring his teeth.

Curtis opened his mouth to once again respond, but Dijak clamped a paw over his mouth and gave Curtis a warning glare that made Curtis roll his eyes. Dijak released his paw from Curtis's mouth.

Chase took a breath to calm down and put a paw to his dog tag, "Thank you, Colonel. Get everyone ready." The German Shepherd then looked back to the five troublemakers, "What is this Valor and plan on going to Paris?"

"Well, I wasn't planning on bringing this up until we dealt with the Royal Cartel, but since a big blabber mouth with trust issues can't keep his mouth shut, so I guess I'll bring it up now," said Dijak, "Apparently Elena Blackskull is Lupe's sister, and she revealed that Ethan and Maria killed mine and Rocky's parents, and when they took us they left a younger pup-"

Chase cut him off, "Skip the details. Why is Paris important?"

"Ethan and Maria have information, and they'll only tell us if I and Rocky go to Paris… alone," said Dijak as he looked at Curtis when he said the final word.

Chase looked away for a second, then back at Dijak and looked him in the eye with a stern face, "No."

"I had a feeling that was going to be your answer, but doesn't worry, I already gave Lupe and the General at the Adventure Bay FOB my word that I would always follow your orders, all the time," said Dijak.

"That's if you want to die," said Curtis.

"Oh, for the love of God, I'm not going to die, so what if the komodo dragon DNA within me is screwing with my genetic coding and could be a problem, but I'm not…." Dijak cut off as he coughs up blood, and blood comes from his mouth and nose.

"You were saying," Curtis said, looking at Dijak with a smug look.

"I can still hurt you," said Dijak giving a cold death glare to Curtis while wiping blood from his mouth and nose.

"THAT IS ENOUGH!" Chase yelled at the bickering canines, "Fuchs!" Chase shouted in his com, "Contact Lupe and Artemis and tell them their son is here. I will send him on the first plane there." Chase then looked back at Curtis, "You are nothing but trouble."

Rosalie ran up as she was just with a tank crew and wanted to be part of the conversation. She was wearing an exo-suit and saw Dijak cough and instantly got to his side with her medical gear, "Dijak, calm down."

"I'm fine, it's just stress from everything happing lately; so many good friends that we spent years fighting side-by-side with are dead. It makes me wonder which one of us goes next," said Dijak, "Can I see my brother?"

Chase was silent while Rosalie looked at her leader for an answer. Chase eventually nodded and pointed to the bunker, and allowed the rest of his team to leave with him. Rosalie was attached to Dijak's side the whole way there to keep an eye on him.

Just as Curtis was to follow, Dijak Chase stepped in front of the wolf pup and said, "You are barred from seeing him at this time. You are going to be in the bunker and not touch anything. If you try to hack or mess with anything, you are going to see either me or Fuchs's ugly side. I will risk the wrath of your parents if you compromise anything of my equipment and information," Chase was very front with his threat, "You are smart, but that could get you killed today. Do you fucking understand?"

"Why of course Chase," said Curtis.

"I mean it," Chase then punched Curtis in the muzzle. It was not full power, for if it was Curtis wouldn't have a muzzle, but it was still enough to make the wolf pup bleed from the nose. Chase was not having any of Curtis's bullshit.

Curtis just wiped the blood away and headed towards the bunker.

"This is going to be fun explaining this to his parents," Chase said to himself.

XXX

"WHAT?! CURTIS!?" Lupe shouted over the communications with Chase. Chase, Fuchs, Everest, and Rosalie were in the CIC of their bunker. No one else was in there except Curtis, whose parents were chewing out.

"I just wanted to find what made Dijak tick, father. He is not normal," Curtis argued.

"We all know that son, but what we don't know is sometimes best if we never figure it out. When you know someone like Dijak, it is best to leave it alone and not piss them off. The same goes for Chase and Everest. They are superior in every way in natural strength, intelligence, endurance, and much more thanks to training and whatever Morgan had done for them," Lupe reasoned with his son.

"Yes, father," Curtis said with his face low to the ground.

Chase looked at Curtis and then back to Lupe, who was on the screen, "What is this thing about a person called Valor and a weapon in Paris?"

"Something that my psychopath of a sister told Dijak. Dijak and Rocky have another brother and a weapon in Paris, France. My agents in France are seeing if it is true. If it is, I can get who ever this Valor is and whatever information they have and bring it stateside." Lupe reported.

"That would be useful. However, I don't trust anything your sister says. The fact that Dijak and your son wanted to leave so soon bothered me. The fact that they are so willing to want it to be true. Even after all that just happened they want to leave so fast," Chase stated. He then pointed to Curtis and Fuchs to get out of the room while he and Lupe talked. Fuchs nodded and with Rosalie they took Curtis to the outside. For now at least he could be a rifleman in this up coming battle.

"I understand your frustration and I don't trust her either. I will contact you as soon as I know more of this Valor character," Lupe said.

"And I will keep Dijak and his team here. They are not to leave this state," Chase added.

"Talk later Chase," With that Lupe ended the call and Chase was left with Everest in the CIC.

"What now?" Everest asked her commander.

"Now? We prepare for the war to come to our doorstep. No more covert, we are going loud," Chase said as he left the CIC with Everest right behind him.

XXX

Back with Dijak, Rocky, and the rest of them who are left.

"Wait a second, are you try telling me that we have a younger brother in Paris, who has information on a unknown weapon?" Asked Rocky.

"That's what Lupe's bitch of a sister said, and added to the fact that I got a message from this Valor person earlier this morning… well I don't like coincidence," said Dijak.

"Well, hopefully Chase and Lupe can figure it out for us, I'm just glad to have my real brother back," said Rocky.

"Me too Rocky, me too," said Dijak as he hugged his brother.

"So the true, Dijak Crossfang returns," said a voice from behind them.

Dijak turned around to see Danny, Smoke, and Delta behind him. Grinning, Dijak ran over to see his long time friends.

"Danny, Smoke, it's good to see you again after along time," said Dijak.

"Good to see your still in one piece," said Danny.

"Of course last time we saw you, you wern't a half demonic wolf with a killer attitude," said Smoke.

"Ha, ha, ha, very funny," said Dijak as he let out a sarcastic laugh.

"So this is the famous Demonic Wolf King that I heard so much about?" Asked Delta as she came to look at Dijak.

"Dijak Crossfang in the flesh," said Dijak, "And you would be?"

"The names Delta Diamante," said Delta as she introduce herself to Dijak.

"You French?" Asked Dijak recognizing the French accent.

"Yep," Delta responded.

Dijak then notice two robotic animals, one resembling a jaguar, the other resembling a condor. Both of the animals seemed to be looking at Dijak with curiosity and the bird was secretly scanning the demon wolf while sharing the information with his companion.

"What's with the robo animals?" Dijak asked.

Rocky and the others turned to see Ripfang and Skyclaw looking at Dijak with curious eyes.

"They're names are Ripfang, he's the jaguar and the other is Skyclaw, he's the condor," Rocky explained.

"Who do they belong to?" Asked Dijak as the two came over to him.

Dijak notice everyone staring at him, not saying a signal word that made him feel uneasy.

"What? Why are you all staring at me like tha?" Asked Dijak.

"They belong to you, you are their Master," said Rocky as Dijak looked at the two robotic animals with wide eyes.

Paris, France

1900 Hours (7:00 PM)

A young canine that looks like Rocky, but with a darker shade of gray fur that looks pretty much black. The young canine was dressed in dark green camouflage pants, a black vest with military dog tags hanging around his neck, black combat boots on his hind paws and black fingerless gloves on his front paws. This was none other than Valor Crossfang, an agent working for the British government and the younger brother to Dijak and Rocky. The young pup looked like he was almost out of breath, not to mention he was hurt as his right front paw was heavily bandaged with blood soaking through, of course this was the result of a very jagged looking knife being slammed right through it.

"God damn it!" Valor cursed out as he continued running.

Valor continued running while a bunch of armed guards were trying to follow him, but since they were human, Valor had an advantage over his pursuers and he needed to make the best of it while his said advantage last.

"Damn it, I thought Dijak and Rocky would be here by now, but since they aren't I had to resort to other methods of getting these documents and as a result I got a knife stabbed into my paw," Valor said to himself.

Valor Crossfang continued to move throughout the city trying to stay close to the shadows and out of sight, but of course nothing is ever easy anymore. Valor had a pack strap to his back that was filled with important documents of where to find this dangerous weapon and luckily none of the bad guys who had it had managed to decipher any information about it. Valor started to flashback on how he managed to get himself into this mess in the first place.

Flashback - Four Hours Ago

Valor Crossfang was sneaking around a guarded facility, looking for a weapon that was being called, Hell's Gate. After he was informed that his brothers Dijak and Rocky were going to be unable to come to Paris to meet with him, Ethan, and Maria, Valor decided to act before it was too late. Valor was able to uncover information about important encrypted documents that could hold the location of this deadly weapon that everyone was talking about, and apparently every government agency and terrorist cell in the world is looking for it.

Valor didn't like these canines, Ethan and Maria, who had raised him since he was a newborn pup. Accordingly to what they told him is that his parents died in an accident and with them being closed friends with his parents they decided to adopt him and raise him as their own son. However, as time progress and with recent news and events within these past five years only made Valor curious as to what his "adopted" parents were up to since they seem to be in the middle of it. Valor decided to secretly join the British SAS and after two years, Valor was recruited to become a Special Tactics Agent for MI6, and per his request, the British government was able to help Valor keep this a secret from Ethan and Maria. Finally the British government wanted Valor to secretly follow Ethan and Maria to their next "business trip" which happens to be Paris, France, and find out what they're up to. Valor was able to eventually track them to a secret underground lab of some kind and after disguising himself as a guard, Valor started to snoop around while also trying to stay hidden from Ethan and Maria. Valor eventually found a room full of human and canine guards and scientist, who seem to be busy studying a multiple pieces of paper with weird looking symbols on them. As Valor got closer he heard what the scientist were talking about and he didn't like it…

"Another failure, we need to find away to decipher these notes to find the book, the boss will not tolerate anymore delays," said a scientist.

"We tried everything, nothing works, it's like everytime we get close to an answer, it changes somehow," said another scientist.

Valor notice the scientist go towards a big whiteboard with a bunch of mumbo jumbo written on it and with all of the other guards not paying attention, Valor took this opportunity to grab the pieces of paper and a deceive that he heard the scientist call a transporter. After Valor had grab the encrypted notes and transporter device, he started to make his way out of the room, but unfortunately one of the scientist turned around to see the stuff gone and the transporter sticking out of Valor's bag.

"Intruder!" Yelled the scientist as he pointed at Valor.

Valor let out a groan as he pulled out his five-seven pistol and killed the two guards blocking his exit. Valor proceeded to take off down the hallway as alarms started to go off and parts of the building were being sealed off. As Valor was about to turned down another hallway, a small jagged sharp knife came flying and stab straight through his right front paw, pinning Valor to the wall making him scream out in agony. Valor took a deep breath and pulled the knife from his paw and threw it towards a canine guard running towards him, hitting the said canine in his head, killing him instantly. Valor stood up on his hind legs and started to run on his hind paws, trying to make it out with his stolen information while also trying to put pressure on his wounded paw. Valor pulled out a roll of medical bandages from his bag and heavily wrapped his bleeding paw with it. Valor was able to finally make it out the exit door right before it lockdown, but the four humans that were guarding outside spotted Valor and gave chase. Valor let out a sigh as he continued to run from his pursuers.

Flashback Ends

After a while, Valor was finally able to ditch the human guards who started to walk back towards the building, grumbling about how the boss was going to kill them for letting the intruder escape, not to mention that he got into the building in the first place. As Valor continued walking towards the underground base that he's been using while he was here in Paris, Valor started to get the feeling that he was being followed. When Valor turned around, he would begin to see several canines start to stalk him. They didn't look familiar at all and had much different equipment than the previous ones he fought off. Their camo pattern gave it away that they are with the Atlas Wolf Militia with the Red and White digital camo that is not in any way shape or form supposed to conceal its wearers.

More and more would start to show up, and Valor saw one talk on the radio. All of the canines paused, and silence filled the ally. Valor could hear the chatter on the radio and only pick up two words. "Secure him"

Valor was trapped and had no escape. If he wanted to run, there was no why he could with his injured paw let alone the fact there were some Grey Hounds in the group.

The leader of the group who spoke into the radio would remove his helmet and mask to reveal it was a Beagle.

"You must be Valor," The Beagle said in a thick French accent.

"Who is asking?" Valor demanded.

"Lupe of the AWM. He wants to send you stateside immediately. The ASF is interested in what you have gathered and wants to put you under protection with your stated brothers under Alpha Colonal Chase Hunter's command," the Beagle explained, "We are here to escort you to the airport."

"I can't," Valor said while tossing a old style flip phone to the Beagle, "Tell Col. Hunter and Lupe I respect them big time, but I work for MI6 and I have a job to do. I'll have to look into something first, when I'm done I'll call number into the phone I just gave you and give you a location on where you can come find me."

"Lupe and Chase would like you to come in now. Lupe in fact is an ally to the British and not a branch of the Americans. We are an independent faction," the Beagle said stepping forward.

Valor quickly drew his gun out, "I can't, it's to dangerous, I can't be anywhere near my brothers just yet but allow me to give you a fare warning, don't let Rocky and especially don't let Dijak out of your sight. Also keep a close eye on Dijak, he might not have much time left and if I don't act soon he'll become a very big problem for everyone."

The Atlas Wolves Militia members looked at each other with worried looks, they all knew how an odd individual Dijak could be, and it made them think about Dijak being a most valuable ally to becoming one of their most dangerous enemies in this war.

"What do you mean?" Asked the Beagle.

"You might see it for yourself soon enough," said Valor as he pulled out the transporter and with one quick push of the main button, Valor started to be transported to who knows where. The Beagle and a Gray Hound on the opposite side lunged forward, trying to stop Valor, but were too late as Valor disappeared and the Beagle and Gray Hound collided with each other.

"God damn it!" Cursed the Gray Hound.

"Great, now I got to hear Lupe's pissed off voice," said the Beagle.

"What do you think the pup meant by that Dijak could become a bigger problem for all of us?" Asked the Gray Hound.

"I don't know, let's just tell Lupe what happened and see where he wants us to go from here," said the Beagle.

As the Atlas Wolves Militia began to disappear, three lone figures were watching from a roof top not to far way and if any of the canines looked in their direction, they would see the self proclaim leader of the Blackgate Hellfire Club, Slasher with the leader of the Royal Cartel, Storm on his right and Sylvia on his left. Naturally these three will be rarely seen together, but Slasher wanted both Storm and Sylvia here after he found out that the youngest Crossfang brother was here.

"Wait there's another Crossfang brother, I thought that there was only two of them?" Asked Storm.

"I'm with Storm, the other two are already becoming a big nuisance to deal with. Now we have a third one to deal with. However, it looks like he refused to go with the AWM boys, so I guess thats a particle good thing," said Sylvia in her thick Russian accent.

"Do you know where the devil the young pup transported to with that device he stole from your facility back there?" Asked Storm.

"I do," said Slasher.

Storm and Sylvia ears peaked up thinking they might be able to get some leverage over their enemies.

"You want Storm to go after him?" Asked Sylvia as she smirked at Storm.

"NO!" Yelled Slasher.

Storm backed up a little, being caught off guard by Slasher's sudden outburst. Syliva stood her ground not scared, mostly because she knew that if she was killed, Abstergo will turn on Strom and Slasher. Abstergo is a company like Crusader that is not to be triffled with. How ever neither she or Strom have ever seen Slasher like this, not to mention he was becoming a little obsessed with having a "death fight" with Dijak.

The Obstagoon began to pace around the rooftop, "I don't want anyone going after that kid, besides I have a feeling that since none of us have been able to decipher the notes to the location of that damn book that Raven and Eclipse were able to hide so damn well before Ethan and Maria put them in the ground, I have a feeling that only those Crossfang boys might be the only ones that could figured out where it's hidden."

"What do you want us to do?" Asked Storm.

"Lets see where this development leads us," said Slasher.

"Hmm. By the way Storm, how are your boys doing in Colorado?" Asked Sylvia with a smugged smile.

"My boys are highly trained warriors who know the punishment for failer, unlike you and your band of misfits," said Storm with a growl.

"At least the team that I'm apart of doesn't lose their cool when they fail and kill each other," said Sylvia referring to Storm's habit of killing his men when they fail him, "Besides, I part of something more. Something that the both of you will never understand."

"You want to go a few rounds, bitch," said Storm getting in a fighting stance.

"Say when, Psycho," said Sylvia getting in a fighting stance of her own.

Slasher let out a sigh at the childish behavior that these two have with one another and went over to smack each of them upside the head, the hit was hard enough of leave a nice little bruise on their heads as well as small amounts of blood coming out of their mouths.

"Honestly sometimes I can't tell if you two act like brother and sister or an old married couple with the way you two act towards each other, so do me a favor and behave," said Slasher walking off.

"Does he seem to be losing it?"Asked Storm looking to where Slasher walked off.

"A bit," said Sylvia with a smug look on her face, "And that is all I need."

Unidentified Location

Valor reappeared as he came crashing down on a metal table of some sort with a bunch of medical tools on it before falling to the ground with a thud. Groaning, Valor sat up and began to take a look at his surroundings and later confirm that he was in a lab of some kind. However the dead bodies of the scientist that were scattered everywhere and were dress in the same type of uniform as the scientist back in Paris didn't sit all too well with Valor as the young pup pulled out his five-seven and began to see if he can uncover any deep secrets.

"Better get to digging,Valor," Valor thought as the young pup continued to looked around.

Valor was continued looking around when he found a giant operating room with a massive big screen on one side, Valor later found proper medical tools to properly stich and bandage up his injured paw. After Valor was finish treating his wounded paw, he went to the big screen to see if he can find anything about this place. Noticing a glowing red button, Valor pushed it and a recording of two canines, one male and one female. The male canine was a unknown type of dog with some wolf-like features, he had light gray fur, with white fur on his paws. Their was also a black circle over one of his eyes. The female was a Mexican wolf with a darker pelt of yellowish-gray fur that was heavily clouded with black over her back and tail. She has gold amber color eyes while the male canine has golden brown color eyes.

"Good evening, my name is Raven Crossfang," said the male canine.

"And I'm Eclipse Crossfang," said the female canine.

Valor immediately knew that these were his, Rocky, and Dijak's parents. Valor quickly pulled out a black USB drive and plugged it in and then connected his laptop to the facility's systems and started to download every single file that he could while paying attention to the video.

"Me and my wife recently discovered something about the book, Hell's Gate. This book has answers to all types of things that has caused scientist to debate on weather it's real or not and now that we have this book, anything can be possible," said Raven.

Valor looked closely and notice the glaze looked in both of Raven and Eclipse's eyes. It looked like that they have lost their sanity and were now completely insane.

"So, Raven and I decided that we should start with something special and of course sense it was illegal and our government would never allow us to do it, we decided to use our own three children, Dijakovic, but we just call him Dijak, Rocky, and Valor," said Eclipse as she moved to the side to reveal Dijak, Rocky, and Valor when they were nothing more than three baby puppies.

Valor notice that the young pups look to be in pain, and it made him severely sick to his stomach that two canines who severed their country would do this to their own sons.

"After reading through the book, we discovered how to create special serums to give our sons power beyond the comprehension of anyone on this planet, and we made sure that it wasn't going to be reversible," said Raven.

"Dijak has been injected with a serum that will allow him to receive the demonic powers of a ancient demonic wolf from Hell known as Ghost, Rocky has been given a serum that will grant him the power of being able to undergo a lycanthropic transformation and turn into a Werepuppy. Now normally something like this can only be done on a full moon, but we were able to create it so that Rocky can transform into a Werepuppy at anytime. Finally, Valor has been injected with a serum that contained vampire bat DNA giving him enhance strength, speed, reflexes, and echolocation. Also to make sure that their dominate and superior to everyone else, we made sure that all three of them have a bloodlust craving," said Eclipse.

Valor's blood ran cold as his face paled at what his parents said. Valor ended up throwing up at what he was learning, apart of him wished he just went with the AWM canines, but the next part made this all worth it.

"Unfrontionally, our sons will not have any of these powers until this timer runs to zero," said Raven as he showed a timer to the screen.

Valor looked at the timer in the video and saw that it would be years before the powers were unleashed. Valor began to wonder as to why the powers would take so long but his body froze in shock as he look down with a horrified expression when we saw the exact same timer that was in the video right in front of him only instead of many years on it, it only had two hours left. Valor quickly synced his watch to the timer and saw that he had exactly two hours left. Two hours to warn his new found allies. Valor was brought out of his thought as the USB drive finish downloading all the files in the system. Valor grabbed the USB drive and quickly ran out of the room to find a exit, which was in the form of a long ladder and after quickly climbing it, Valor found himself in the middle of a desert in the middle of nowhere, but the good news is that his GPS was indicating he was in the middle of Nevada. Valor got out his phone and called the number for the flip phone he gave that beagle in Paris, Valor just prayed that it was in Lupe or Chase's hands.

"Valor?" Asked a voice on the other end.

"Col. Chase Hunter?" Asked Valor hoping it was him.

"This is he, where are you?" Asked Chase.

"Track my phone, I'm in the middle of nowhere in Nevada and what ever you do keep and eye on Dijak and Rocky, and tell your men to be cations around me when they get here," said Valor who was on the verge of panicking.

"Why? What's the matter?" Asked Chase who didn't like the tone Valor was using.

"It's hard to explain over the phone but I got information that you'll want to see and as for regarding me, Rocky, and Dijak… well lets just say we got one hour and forty seven minutes before something bad happens to us thats irreversible," said Valor.

"Valor…" Chase started to say but was cut off when the line went dead.

Nightwatcher's Bunker

"Valor…" Chase started to say but was cut off when the line went dead.

Chase slammed his paw down in frustration, creating a dent on the table. Everyone jumped at the German Shepherd's actions.

"Fuchs, track the location of the number that just called this phone and then send that information to our nearest assets that are closest to Nevada and have them retrieve the young pup and bring him hear," said Chase as he threw the phone to Fuchs who began to track the number that just called the phone.

"What's going on?" Asked Everest who came over beside Chase with Rosalie.

"I'm not quite sure, but can you do me a favor and can you two keep a close eye on Dijak and Rocky and let me know if they start acting weird or if something happens, especially if it happens within the next hour and a half," said Chase. The German Shepherd then whispered into Everest's ear, "Worst case, use the Reaper and put them down before they do more damage."

Everest and Rosalie looked at each other confused, but went to see what the Crossfang brothers were up to. Chase went to a table to try and clear his thoughts, he didn't like this and with the possibility of the Royal Cartel attacking this place the last thing he wanted was for Dijak and Rocky to go berserk and cause more chaos.

Meanwhile, back with Dijak and the others, Dijak was lying on a table with only his collar on, with Ripfang and Skyclaw scanning him repeatedly.

"Guys, I'm telling you, it's just stress. I'll be fine if you let me get some sleep," said Dijak a little agitated that these cyber animals that he only meet a short while ago were trying to as they put it "fix his damaged DNA caused by the komodo dragon DNA.

"Trust us, we know what we're doing," said Skyclaw.

"Dijak, listen to them for a few minutes and see if something is wrong. Besides I'm pretty sure you coughing up blood and looking a little pale is not normal," said Rocky.

"Neither is being a half-killer ass demon," Dijak retorted.

"Just stay lying down," said Rocky, who felt weird arguing with his older brother.

"Bingo, found the problem and found a solution," said Ripfang, who had a huge needle in his mouth.

Dijak didn't like needles and became very concerned, especially with how big the needle was. Skyclaw saw how nervous Dijak was getting and secretly prepare to strap him down

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the phone. You are not sticking me with that thing," said Dijak as he tried to get up, but Skyclaw had already strapped him down and now the large needle was aimed right for his neck.

"This wont hurt a bit," Ripfang reassured.

"Oh crumbs!" Dijak exclaimed as Ripfang struck him with the needle.

"There, all better," said Ripfang.

Dijak sprang up from the table ready to give the cyber animals a piece of his mind when surprisingly he felt better than before. To everyone's shock, the komodo dragon scales on Dijak's body started to disappear one by one.

"You two actually did it," said Diajk as he started laughing.

Rocky hugged his brother as Ripfang and Skyclaws high pawed each other for their accomplishment. After Dijak got dress in his new Lethal Assassination Xchange uniform, the Crossfang brothers, along with Shade, Smokey, Cyanide, Danny, Smoke, and Delta started to play a game of cards to pass their time. After a while, when Rocky was close to winning their game, both Dijak and Rocky felt extreme pain go through their body as if their inside were on fire. Both brothers collapsed to the ground as it became difficult to breathe. However, they weren't the only ones experiencing this.

Everest and Rosalie kicked the door to the room wide open. Seeing both Rocky and Dijak on the floor. The female arctic fox went to their sides to see what was going on. Everest, on the other paw, drew her Reaper daggers just in case.

Storm's gang arrived just as if anything else couldn't go wrong. Bullets, lasers, and heavy weapons started to fire outside. The Battle of Douglas has begun.

Desert in Nevada

Valor hated being stuck here for who knows long but decided to suck it up and deal with it. Finally, Valor saw two Blackhawk helicopters flying towards his location and fired a flare into the air from a flare gun he found in the underground lab. The pilots of the Blackhawks spotted the flare and began to descend toward the canine. However, Valor was bright out of joyful thoughts with a beeping sound coming from his watch, and with a horrified feeling in his stomach looked at his watch to see that the two hours were up. An excruciating feeling began to spread throughout his body as if his insides were on fire. Valor collapsed to the ground as he felt it difficult to breathe, and the last thing he saw was a combined group of ASF and AWM canines running toward him and with that, Valor's world went dark.
