"And there is something you should know. If you don't switch back in two hours then you will be stuck like this forever. Or so the legend goes." Makarov said thoughtfully. Everyone turned to look at one another in panic.
Natsu as Gray ran over to Elfman and Mira Jane. "Do you know how much longer we have?"
"16," Mira said without missing a beat.
"Lucy" widened her eyes. Turning around Laxus as Lucy leapt at his grandfather. "Jiji! For all that is holy please tell me you have a spell to switch me back!"
"Well my boy," he said stroking his mustache. "It is ancient magic, so it stands to reason that I don't have a spell to change you back." A look of betrayal flashed in "Lucy's" eyes. Lucy as Laxus felt a bubble of panic grow inside of her. "Are you saying we're going to be stuck like this!"
Laxus looked behind him..'shit..'
Laxus's body started to generate a lot of magic around it. Electricity was sparking throughout his body.
"Lucy. I need you to calm down." Laxus said approaching his body.
Lucy looked at Laxus desperately. "Calm down! How can you tell me to calm down! My head- no your head is killing me! God why does it feel like my eye is throbbing! And you're telling me I have to calm down after I've been told I may be stuck in your body!" Lucy cried oblivious to the fact that a electric storm was being created around her.
"Lucy please!" He said worried she would hurt someone with his magic. Normally he wouldn't have cared but she would care. He shook his head of that thought. He knew why his head was throbbing it was from the lacrima that his father had implemented in his head many years before.
"Luce you gotta calm down!" Natsu said noticing the power growing around her.
"Stop telling me to calm down! Telling someone to calm down never calms someone down!" She yelled. At that moment a giant bolt of lightning came off his body and struck the bar. Everyone at the bar ducked or jumped away from it. It exploded into tiny wood pieces and dust. Lucy as Laxus held up his hands scared. 'Did I just do that?' She thought scared.
"I'm sorry!' She cried.
Makarov walked over to Lucy. "It's alright. But I'm going to give you the same advice I gave to Laxus many years ago. With a power like lightning it is imperative that you control your emotions. Or else someone could get really hurt." Laxus and Makarov both recalled the night that he woke up from his amateur surgery that his father had given to him and found out that his father had implemented the lacrima behind his eye. Laxus had such a melt down that he fried the town's entire power grid. Laxus shook Lucy's head in anger. 'Worthless piece of shit of a old man.'
"On a sadder note I was really looking forward to punishing you. I mean you all will get punished but I'm going to wait until Erza and Laxus get fixed..."
"That's appreciated. Since we didn't do anything wrong!" Erza said with a surley attitude.
"So what do we do?" Laxus asked annoyed. He sat down God, his back hurt. But it was nice to not have a throbbing head ache or talking dragon soul in his head. Laxus froze. Oh no...would the thing be talking to Lucy in his body?
He looked over to Lucy who looked stressed in his body. Lucy was not handling this well. She wanted to drive a pick through Laxus's head. And she heard this growling and purring. 'What the heck was this. Oh my God was Laxus insane!?' She looked over at Laxus in her body lying down. She heard a purr coming from the deepest part of his brain. Lucy looked around the purr went away but would come back when she looked at herself? 'What the actual-'
Lucy was scared. 'What is this?'
She felt a reassuring feeling in her head. Whatever this was, it was trying to calm her down. Lucy tried to relax taking deep breaths in. Every smell and every noise she could hear and smell. It was overwhelming.
"Well it seems like you kids have your hands full. Best of luck now!" Makarov said walking away. Laxus glared at his grandfather. 'Oh sure walk away, this was just so typical him.'
"That's it I can't take this anymore!" Gray as Natsu raged. He began to tear at the scarf and vest Natsu had on.
"Stripper! Don't you dare make me into a pervert!" Natsu screamed at Gray in his body. Laxus eyed everyone. He watched Natsu tackle his own body. This was all just some sick joke.
"So even though that's Gray inside Natsu's body. He still has the urge to strip?" Happy asked playing with his new found scarlet locks.
"Too bad Gray didn't switch with Lucy then-" Wakaba lamented. Lucy went over to Wakaba she towered above him in Laxus's body it was truly terrifying. "What did you just say!?" She said in Laxus's deadly tone..
"Uh nothing!"
"Ah nope I'm the lucky one who has to deal with these!" Laxus said holding up Lucy's boobs in her hands making them more pronounced.
"Laxus stop that!" Lucy screamed.

"HAPPY STOP IT!"
Purple glowing light surrounded Erza's body. Her hair looked to be blowing in some sort of wind that no one else could feel. It looked like a mini cosmic explosion happened in front of the guild.
"Requip!"
Erza held her hands up and brought them down again. All the guild could see was her figure but blacked out. She bent forward, the sensation was weird for Happy. It was sorta like a out of body experience. When he felt his new body sit back up he returned to the ground. He looked down at Erza's body in excitement. She was wearing a one piece and her hair was in pig tails. She had a fishing pole in one hand and a orange bag in the other. "Tada!"
Lucy's eyes widen, she felt Laxus's body get turned on by seeing Erza in the swim suit. 'This wasn't awkward...'
"Whoa! Erza looks smoking hot!" Macao, Wakaba, and Elfman screamed.
Laxus stared at Erza. Erza did look smoking hot. The uncomfortable look on Lucy's face told him that his body reacted to seeing Erza already. He laughed. "You feeling ok?" He asked standing next to his body. Lucy glared. "Shut up!" Lucy growled. Laxus laughed hysterically. Lucy was confused, when her body came near Laxus's the voice thing in his head was pleased. She wasn't sure why but-
"How dare you!" Erza in Happy's body screamed launching the tiny cats body at her own. She tried to punch herself but her own elbow hit her in the face. Alzack and Nab looked at Erza falling to the ground.
Erza in Happy's body began to sob. "NO THIS CAN'T BE! MY PRIDE! I WAS A POWERFUL S-CLASS WIZARD AND NOW! I'M SO WEAK!"
"Man I wanted to wear one of your cool suits of armour!" Happy complained.
"Whoa! It looks like everyone didn't switch magic but actually techniques? But we basically all suck!" Natsu exclaimed.
"Well why is Laxus still so powerful!?" Elfman asked confused..
"He is a Dreyar after all. He's got insane raw magical talent. Lucy is, and forgive me my child, more emotional than Laxus so when she loses control of her emotions-" Makarov explained.
"Laxus's power goes," Mira gestured to the bar. Mira was mourning the loss of her bar.
"So she sucks at it controlling it." Makarov said drinking some beer.
"Yeah! Still feel awful about that!" Lucy said embarrassed.
"Not your fault child." Makarov said. "I didn't get mad when Laxus was first learning-"
Lucy's eyebrows furrowed, "that is not what I recall old man!" Laxus was angry by that statement.
"Eh! I don't like you particularly. I do like Lucy though." Lucy raised one of Laxus's hands to his mouth to stifle a laugh.
"Guys! We're wasting time!" Gray said fire coming out of Natsu's mouth. Natsu looked at his body in horror. "Stripper stop drooling fire! You're making me look bad!"
"Well that sure isn't intimidating." Mira giggled. She watched Happy descend next to her gliding in the air. "Ah I see. So this is what it's like to fly!" She said happily. Happy's face changed into anger. "I should not be wasting my time like this! This is no time for admiration! We're running out of time!" She said flailing her new arms around. Mira wanted to laugh at seeing her old rival in such state. Well looks like she still had a demonic side in her after all. She looked over at Natsu.
"This feels hopeless!" Natsu said screaming. Ice started to fall from his mouth.
"Hey Gray- I mean Natsu. - there's ice coming from your mouth..."
"I hate this!" Natsu screamed.
Lucy held Laxus's head in his hands. She wanted to cry. Everything and she meant everything was in magnified. She could hear sounds and smells she never knew were possible. And this headache, she wanted to cry. "How do you handle this!?" She whispered looking at herself.
Laxus was confused. "What do you mean?"
"This! All this noise! And the smells and the head hurting! God why does your head hurt!" She wanted to cry but nothing was coming out. 'Did he not cry?'
"No need to worry Lu!" A girl's voice came from behind her. Lucy turned away from herself to see Levy behind her. "Levy!" Lucy cried in a higher pitched voice.
Laxus turned around and saw Jet and Droy flanking Levy. He momentarily was shocked at how short she was. Yeah she was short when he was back in his body but he was used to looking down. It was weird she was closer and yet not closer to his face.
"The Shadow Gear Team is here to save the day!" Droy said. "You guys will be back to normal in no time!"
"Oh yeah! We got this no sweat!" Jet said hand on his giant hat. "Now do your thing Levy!" They said smiling at the girl.
Mira shook her head. "When you say we, do you actually mean Levy?"
Jet and Droy laughed nervously.
"You're so sweet to help us!" Lucy said holding Laxus's hands against his chest in a docile manner.
Laxus was looking at the exchange happening before him. "Anything' for you, Lu! I'll do my best! Besides it would be WAY awkward to talk about your novel with Laxus especially the romance scenes you write!"
"What romance scenes do you write?" Laxus asked surprised.
He watched Lucy cough, a faint blush on his face appeared. "Blondie don't blush!"
He wondered if this is how she knew about tit bondage porn. He mulled over that fact for a minute. Ok a more than a minute. Everyone gathered around Levy who carried some books to a table along with the flier.
"What are you going to do?" Natsu asked.

"Lucy err I mean Laxus relax I'm sure everything will be-" that's when Laxus felt a hand on his shoulder. He stiffened.
Laxus couldn't breathe in Lucy's body. He felt her body start to heave. He started gasping for air. 'What the hell is happening to me?'
He could hear the sound of cicadas, and frogs chirping. In his nose he could smell a horrible cologne and bourbon. His skin felt gross. He wanted to rip it off. Again he felt felt himself breathing heavily. He felt Lucy's brain panic. He saw a man's face. It was distorted and a cruel looking face.
"Come here!" A drunk voice called.
"No! Please stop!" He heard Lucy's voice in his head.
Hot, sticky, muggy air clung to his skin. He felt someones hands holding him down. The sound of fabric ripping.
"Lucy! Err Laxus are you ok?" Someone jerked him. He could not tell you who it was.
Laxus felt Lucy's scream he wasn't really there it felt out of body like. He didn't know what happened only that his foot collided with Elfman's body and he collided with the wall. It broke under the man's weight.
He was breathing heavily again. "What the hell Blondie!" He couldn't breathe. Lucy ran over to Laxus she had a feeling she knew what happened. Laxus was angry and alert. He wanted to rip off his skin. 'What the hell!'
He felt dizzy. Laxus felt himself being gently guided over to a table. "It's ok! Was it the?" Laxus didn't respond. He shied away from Lucy's touch. "I feel like I'm going to pass out." The smell of cologne filled his nose and the sound of ripping fabric. The mental image of that man smiling sickly down upon him was in his head. He got up and ran outside. "Laxus wait!" Lucy called after him. "Shit!"
Lucy chased after him, she went out the guild halls doors and looked around but Laxus or really her body was no where to be found.
Lucy felt helpless looking for her own body. Like how messed up is that? Laxus could be anywhere, and doing anything. She wanted to scream in frustration but that wasn't a option. People would look at Laxus funny for that. She walked around trying to remain calm. She thought about her mini melt down and how she in Laxus's body destroyed the bar.
It drained her emotionally, magic wise in Laxus's body it felt like he used a third of his container maybe? She realized that being in Laxus's body, that his magic was way more powerful than hers ever would be. It was like he had a better punch, but his container was smaller than hers. So he ran out more quickly she figured. She also felt what was like a second container inside him. Like a back up battery for magic. She was impressed by this.
Ok so if I were Laxus where would I be? She had to find him quickly they only had two hours and they wasted 15 minutes figuring it out and 35 minutes walking around to find him. 70 minutes left before they were stuck like this. Where was he?
She was walking around when her knee gave out. "Ah!" She screamed. Causing a few people to stare. She fell into a cart. The cart was perched on a hill. The force of Laxus's body caused the cart to go down the hill. The path was cut like a giant S, Lucy braced herself against the cart. She wanted to scream but stopped when she felt her stomach flip. She felt motion sick. She only felt this way once when she had this really wicked ear infection as a kid on a Dukes boat. She felt Laxus's body break out in a cold sweat and felt like she needed to throw up. She felt hot and dizzy as the cart went down hill. "Oh God! Make it stop!" She was breathing shallowly. It felt like one of those amusement park mine cart rides while she descend around the curves. 'Please make it stop!"
Finally the cart stopped. Finally people came running to help her. Or really Laxus.
"Are you alright Mr. Dreyar?"
"Yeah...just give me a moment. My head is spinning."
Laxus was running down the street. He ran blindly into some part of town he didn't know where at. He stopped. Lucy's boobs were killing him. 'How the hell did she run with these knockers?' He briefly reminded himself to never get annoyed with Evergreen ever again if she forgot her sports bra to train and work out. This was unbearable.
He looked around and was surprised, he ran into the fancier side of Magnolia. One where the upper class lived and ran. He noticed people giving him weird looks. He glared at them. He hated this side of town. Too many arrogant snobs and that was him saying that.
He was walking down the street shivering. He felt really embarrassed for running out like that. But he couldn't help it. He felt Lucy's body being very on the edge. It was jumping and flinching at everything that popped out or scared her. 'How the hell did she live like this'. It came to him much later after he was trying to calm down. That Lucy had PTSD. The flashback, and he shuddered trying to not look too closely at that, was THAT night. He was busy off in wonderland when he heard someone call out to him..well not him but to Lucy...
Lori's Salon was a clothing and hair boutique for Magnolias richest and social elites. She had been running the salon since she was in her 20s. Her biggest client back when she started was Melba Cruz only Magnolia's most fashionably well-dressed woman, well second-best when Layla Heartfilia was alive. Lori runs the salon with her best friend Monte..Monte and her have been in the business for nearly 40 years.
Lori was laughing when she exited the car of her mobile with Monte when she saw a client she knew long ago...
Her eyes widen on surprise at seeing Lucy Heartfilia walking like a ape down the street shivering and rubbing her arms.
"Why Lucy what are you doing?" She said with her classic southern Belle accent. Lucy kept on walking. Lori looked at Monte in shock. "Did that little girl ignore me?" She asked Monte wasn't paying attention. "Lori did you just call me?"
Monte was surprised. He turned around smacking Lori with his coat. "What are you-OH! LUCY!" He said excitedly. Monte and Lori have been taking care of Lucy all their lives. They always made sure she was THE most fashionably dressed woman. Almost putting Melba Cruz at second best again.. Almost.
"Lucy!" They screamed. Still nothing.
"Oh that's it! Nevermind forget her!" Lori said. Monte stood for a minute but gave up and began to follow Lori. When Lori turned abruptly around Monte nearly fell. "I changed my mind! She will not ignore me! Get out of my way Monte!" She said shoving the man. "Well excuse me!" He said annoyed. "I thought we were leaving her alone!"
"I changed my mind!" Lori said walking briskly to catch up with Lucy.
"Lucy Heartfilia!"
Lucy kept on walking lost in her own world.
"Lucy!" Lori screamed. Lucy turned around scared, a scream came out of her mouth. Tears coming down her face. Laxus was pissed. He was crying and he felt helpless.
"Oh! Lucy!" Lori said running to give her a hug.
"Are you alright? What happened."
Laxus as Lucy could only sob.
Lori held onto her. Rubbing soothing circles on her back.
"It's ok! Come on now! Let's get you cleaned up!" Lori said holding on to Lucy in a way that made her body feel secure. Laxus let them lead Lucy's body away and off the street. "Monte! Get some tea! Rose tea!" Laxus took in the woman. She was wearing a black skin tight skirt, a black button up with some black jacket that went to her knees. She was plump, with short blonde hair cut into a bob. Monte was wearing a three piece suit also all in black. He had a pocket watch though he was fiddling with. Laxus wondered who these people were. And how they knew Lucy.
Monte nodded opening the door. "Lucy what happened!? Why is she crying!?"
"I don't know." Lori said with attitude. "Go get her some tea! I'm going to take her back to her old room!"
Laxus raised Lucy's hands to dry her face. 'Her room? What was her room?'
He watched this Lori lead him into another room down some hallway. "I'll bring you a nice wet cloth and Monte will bring you some tea. Robin and Flo will come check on you in 5 minutes ok?" Laxus nodded Lucy's head. Satisfied, Lori left. Laxus looked around the room. It was pink with all these frilly design's and filled with white lace and was that a bench with a pillow? He knew it was called something...there was a full length mirror and a mannequin. The room was fairly huge. He looked at himself as Lucy. Her brown eyes were red and swollen, and she looked pale. Her body was shivering. He shook her head. He looked at one wall it had a picture of Lucy, or what he could have sworn was Lucy. A young blonde woman sat proudly against a Moroccan red backdrop she had a pink dress on that reminded him something out of those sappy romance novels that Evergreen reads, and she had her blonde hair tucked up in a nice bun. Her brown eyes look soft as did her overall facial expression exuded a gentle warmth to it. There was a plaque, Layla Heartfilia. He could have sworn that was Lucy.
"Your mamma was always so pretty! I always loved working with her."
Laxus jumped. He saw a petite blonde woman with a shoulder length straight hair walk through the door. She wore a black pants suit.
"How are you pretty girl?!" Laxus decided to keep quiet. "I'll say you have Lori all in a flutter wondering what's wrong with you. She yelled at me to come upstairs from alterations. Said Robin go up stairs and check on Lucy!"
"Sorry Robin- just been a day so far." He said carefully.
Robin looked at her funny. 'Oh shit did I say something-'
"Do you have a cold baby?" Robin asked checking her temp. "Your voice sounds funny."
Laxus sat on the bench thing.
"Uh yeah." Laxus said.
This Robin nodded. Laxus looked at the picture of Layla Heartfilia why did that name sound familiar?
"That's the prettiest picture of your mamma in my opinion that was painted. No one was able to ever capture her warmth and vibrance in paint before."
Laxus nodded. That was Lucy's mom? Something was bugging him though. It was at the tip of his tongue when the door opened. Monte came in with a tray. "Now you better not ask me to go get tampons like last time!" Robin rolled her eyes at Monte.
"Well Monte this is a high-end salon isn't that right Lucy?" She said elbowing her. Laxus decided to stay silent.
"It was embarrassing!" He said gesturing with his hands. Robin laughed.
"Now Lucy! I've known you for too long now! What's going on with you?" Monte asked sitting next to her. Laxus was silent he didn't know what to say. Did these people even know? It was possible-
"Did you have a flash back back to the night of the assault?"
Laxus was relieved. They did know. He nodded.
"Oh honey! Drink some tea!" Robin said. Carefully picking up the pot and pouring her some tea. Laxus took it.
"Don't you want to put some sugar in it honey?" Robin asked.
Laxus paused. He needed to act like Lucy the problem was he didn't know Lucy. He put some sugar in the tea cup and stirred it. He was about to take a sip when he saw a photo of Lucy. 'Or was that her mom?'
Monte noticed her eyes landing on the photo. "Oh! I I know you hate anything from your old life where you were dressed like a Barbie doll but I just love that dress on you it was just to die for!"
"Die for is right! Do you realize how much time it took to do that beadwork Monte just because you wanted it done!"
"It made the dress look great! And Lucy's neck look even prettier."
Laxus had to agree. Lucy really did look stunning in that dress she was looking out into the distance at something, a faraway look in her eyes she had a seafoam green dress on and big poofy sleeves that tapered down to be skin tight on her elbows to her wrist. The skirt he could tell had several layers and was poofy. The skirts were all swept to the side. The beading on the dress looked great he guessed? He did like how it climbed up her neck in some sort of design. But it was the way her waist looked and her boobs and just wow...he was amazed. Her hair was all voluminous and she looked beautiful.
It wasn't Lucy though. He thought about the girl he knew learning the Demon Wiggle-Waggle laughing with a enemy now friend. That was his Lucy. He blinked. Did he just think that?
"Well I'm telling you Lucy will look back on this photo and go wow! I was drop dead gorgeous!"
Laxus nodded Lucy's head in agreement.
Monte noticed this. "See told you! She's now agreeing with me!"
Robin rolled her eyes. "Lucy looks gorgeous in everything we put her in!"
That moment the door open. Laxus saw it was Lori. "Now will someone tell me what is going on! Did the cheese slip off your cracker Miss Heartfilia?"
"Shhhhhh Lori! She had another Flashback!"
Lori's face dropped. "Oh honey! Come here!" Lori attacked Lucy in a hug. Laxus stiffened not used to this attention. "Oh I hate your daddy for all of this! You could be married to that man with at least three of his children by now if your daddy had had his way!" Laxus nodded. "That's why we helped you run away after you came here for that wedding dress fitting!"
Laxus jotted that down wedding dress fitting and that's how she ran away...
"I thought things were getting better you were so happy here and you had not had a single- THIS in months. "
Laxus took a deep breath. He had to be careful. He wasn't sure how these people would react to the fact that he really wasn't Lucy. "I was, it's just today somebody in the guild reached out to grab me from behind and then-"
"And then it happened?" Robin asked.
Laxus nodded. The three people in the room gave Lucy a hug. Laxus was momentarily taken back he never had anybody show him this amount of love and affection before in his life.
At that moment the door swung open, a very pretty dark-skinned woman came in through the door her hair was in a mohawk, she too was also wearing a black blouse with some black pants and flats. "Hey baby how you doing?" She said softly. Laxus looked down at the cup of tea.
"She had another one of those flashbacks today!" Lori explained.
"Flo! Come sit with us!" Robin yelled. This Flo smiled. She had a pretty smile Laxus deemed. "I would love to but I actually came in here to remind everybody that this little lady's father is coming by the salon today we need to get her out of here and fast! He is coming here at 10!"
"What! No one told me that Jude Heartfilia was coming to my salon today!"
Well he is along with Mrs. Vanderpump apparently they are going to a gala together."
"If I have to hear about how Laxus Dreyar is the bee's knees from her daughter again... I'll have a conniption in the salon!
"Who says the bees knees anymore?" Robin asked.
"I'm sure Tara would say it about Laxus!" Monte said without a doubt in his mind.
Jude Heartfilia. Why did that name sound familiar? Then it hit him. Jude Heartfilia! He spit out the tea in his mouth.

I've gone to enough counseling since then to get through it but I couldn't go back to my former life where my virginity is all that mattered- and just what was expected of me, wasn't me. She was his daughter. He looked at the photo of Lucy. There was so much he didn't know about her. But now he was dying to know.
"Come on! We gotta get you out of here!" Flo said. "I'm not letting all our hard work in coordinating your escape to go to waste!" Flo said hugging Lucy.
Laxus was amazed that so many people in one room would go to such lengths to protect Lucy. "You're father may have tried to use you for power. But you are always your own person!" Flo said.. Laxus smiled at that. Flo took Lucy's hand and lead her out of the room she was in.
When Laxus got back he decided there and then that he was going to get to know Lucy Heartfilia...
Lucy was limping. Why Laxus's knee gave out was beyond her but pardon her French...that shit hurt. She was limping along some cobble stone road. This looked familiar until she finally knew where she was. She was in East Magnolia, where the upper elite and rich flocked too. She used to go shopping along the salons and what was called rodayo drive. She followed the scent, her heart and stomach dropped when she saw where the scent lead to...
Lori's Salon
Lucy panicked. To hell with Laxus's knee, she walked at a brisk pace. She went in through the front. When she saw Brad walk out. "Excuse me. Can I help you?' He asked. Lucy rolled her eyes. She didn't like Brad. "I'm here to collect Lucy Heartfilia!"
Brad's eyes widen. "Um I'm sorry we don't have someone by that name here for a appointment and even if we did, which we don't, I'm not allowed to disclose information like that.."
She glared at the man..ugh she could smell herself in the salon. "Fine my mistake!"
Lucy left the salon. When she made sure no one was looking, she snuck back behind the building. That's where she found him finally. Laxus was surprised.
"How did you find me!?"
"Scent and by asking where a blonde girl with my description ran off too. Which by the way why do people fear you so much? And why do you have this excellent nose?" Lucy asked.
"None of your business Blondie." He may have wanted to get to know her but he wasn't sure about letting her know all of his secrets.
"You're blonde too!"
"You're right maybe I should start calling you by your real name. Lucy Heartfilia."
Laxus saw his face morph into anger. It was impressive. You never know how scary your own face is until it's thrown back at you.
"So you know?"
"I do."
"So this is something that's kept between you and me?"
"And why is that? Why should I keep this secret?" He asked laughing. It was a test. He wanted to see what she would do knowing he knew this information.
"Or I'll tell everyone about this weak knee you seem to have Mister Weaklings aren't allowed. Oh and the fact you get horribly motion sick!" She was bluffing but it was all she had on him.
Laxus took a step back. "What do you mean my knee?" He said. "Your knee gave out while I was looking for you which caused me to fall into a cart and-"
"Stop it! Mavis Blondie. My knee you fucked up my knee!?"
"Not on purpose!"
"Ok fine it's true I do have a knee that likes to slide in and out of it's damn socket and I have motion sickness. Don't you dare tell anyone!"
Laxus saw his face look triumphant. Then it scowled. "Why would you be so worried about people knowing something like that? I mean if anything they make you more human."
"Same reason you haven't told your team mates on how you have PTSD.."
"You don't want people to know something shameful?"
Laxus's eyes widen. "Lucy what happened to you was horrible but it's not shameful-"
"Then why do you care about your knee and the-"
"Because Natsu wouldn't let me live it down if he knew I had motion sickness as for my knee. I can't go throwing around not having weaklings in the guild if-"
"If you have a weakness yourself?"
Laxus nodded.
"Fine.. But honestly what you find shameful- isn't bad."
"Neither is yours."
Lucy smiled at Laxus, Laxus was caught off guard by it. He hadn't seen a smile on his face in forever but somehow it had Lucy's warmth in it on his face.
"Come on let's go back to the guild!"
Laxus shook his head. "Yeah we gotta be careful what time is it?"
"Almost 10 why?"
Laxus's stiffened. "We need to be careful leaving this place your dads apparently showing up at 10 that's why the lady Flo, I think her name was that... they had to sneak me out."
Laxus saw Lucy in his body panic. "It's going to be ok. We just gotta be careful. I don't want to be married off either. Doubt he would believe I'm Laxus Dreyar just stuck in your daughters body."
Lucy laughed at that. They carefully snuck around the building. Lucy was walking when she ran into someone.
"Excuse me I'm so-"
She looked down it was her father. Lucy took a step back.
"It's alright. Just be more careful." He said walking away and into the salon.
Lucy was dumb struck. She ran into her dad but he didn't say a thing. But why would he all he saw was Laxus. Speaking of which...
"Pssst! You coming!" She turned around to see Laxus motioning her to get a move on. Lucy nodded and followed Laxus back to the guild hall.
"By the way our conversation back there-" Laxus said.
"Secrets safe with me if you keep mine."
"Deal." Laxus said shaking his own hand.
When they got back to the guild hall they saw Levy was reading through multiple books. Laxus and Lucy didn't realize it but they were walking closely to one another. Lucy saw Happy- err Erza with a fish in his mouth. "Everyone shut up! And let Levy work in peace!" Erza looked down at Happy's mouth.
"WHY DID I HAVE A FISH IN MY MOUTH!" Erza sobbed.
"Because they're yummy!" Happy said with a fish now in Erza's mouth.
Laxus and Lucy rejoined the group.
"Hey you're back!" Natsu said.
"What happened back there Lucy did you did just freak out over nothing?" Gray teased.
Laxus was about to say something when Lucy cut him off.
"Can it Gray. We're back that's all that matters. Any luck?"
Levy was looking through a book her Gale Force reading glasses were on.
"Ok Ugo Daro-"
"I know we said no pressure Levy but we only have 30 minutes left-" Gray said.
"I'm no expert but should she really be reading the script out loud?" Laxus asked.
"Don't worry Laxus, it's safe to read ancient spells like this out loud as long as you don't read it all as-is."
Laxus felt slightly better hearing this.
"There's not much time!" Natsu screamed. Happy in Erza's body booped Gray's nose.
"What the heck Happy!"
Erza blinked.
"You're Natsu right?"
"Yes!"
"You always boop my nose when I'm upset."
Natsu looked at Happy or really Erza. "Ouch this hurts my brain. I feel so weird change me back!"
"I kinda like this! One more time!" Happy said going to requip.
"I swear you'll lose a life cat!" Erza screamed.
Levy closed one book. She looked over the flier.
"Soooo how's it going Levy?" Lucy asked shaking Laxus's fists, bouncing on his heels.
"Stop jumping up and down like some kid in my body Blondie!"
"You're blonde too!" Lucy screamed.
"Would you two shut up!" Natsu said annoyed. "Now Levy did you figure out anything!"
"No. I'm stumped."
Natsu screamed. Laxus put his head in his hands this was hopeless.
"So I'm going to have to live the rest of my life as a weird cat with talking wings?" Erza screamed.
"What's so terrible about that huh?" Happy said with a fish in Erza's mouth.
Gray screamed. Trying to strip in Natsu's body, fire coming out of his mouth.
"STRIPPER I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT!" Natsu yelled. Natsu continued screaming, ice chunk's falling out of his mouth. Laxus was in shock, what would Freed say about this. Would Bickslow check him out now? Could he handle that? Or would the Thunder Legion hate him?
"I wanna switch places too!" Romeo said in excitement.
"Not with me kiddo I would die if I went back to being underaged again." Cana said drinking a barrel.
Levy sighed. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She looked over to her left and nearly lost her jaw to the floor. Natsu was screaming with ice chunk's coming out of his mouth. Lucy was trying to hold Laxus down. Gray had Natsu's mouth wide open drooling fire. Happy err she meant Erza was smacking her head into the ground. While Happy as Erza chewed on a fish.
"Calm down,everyone! I'll keep trying to figure it out!"
"How much time do we have left!" Natsu screamed at Macao.
"28 minutes. Hate to say it but maybe start preparing for the worst ..."
Lucy held Laxus's hands up his face. "Oh no..." Laxus didn't even bother to correct Lucy at this point. When he wanted to sleep with her earlier this morning he never thought he would actually get inside Lucy. And now he was stuck and it wasn't the good kind of stuck. And he wasn't sure if he was making sense at this point. When he heard a drum he became concerned. 'What the -'
Laxus was shocked. Droy was wearing a flower hat with a fairy tail symbol on it, a green boa, and a pink fairy tail arm band. He was beating on a drum that said Levy Love. Jet was waving a fan with a fairy tail symbol on it. He sweat dropped, and he thought his team was devoted and loyal...these guys may take the cake...no one tell Freed.
"Go! Go! Go! Go Levy!"
"THOSE GUYS ARE JUST HER PERSONAL CHEERLEADERS!?" Wakaba exclaimed!
"That's it I'm getting a drink." Laxus said. "Move over Jiji."
Makarov looked at his grandson from his cup. "Wish it was actually Lucy sharing a drink with me and not you."
"What-"
"I don't think you get it. I don't like you anymore. I love you just don't like you."
"Feelings mutual." Laxus said getting himself a drink.
Levy continued to read some new book, he watched her at work. He'll give her this, she was serious. He could tell she was hard at work.
"So Daru is..oh here it is!" She whispered. "Oh I see! And then! Oh I get it! That must mean!"
Laxus and Team Natsu all sat at a table together. Laxus was drinking a beer. Natsu was pacing by the table. The other's were sitting down bored.
"So what happens if we get stuck like this forever?" Laxus asked.
"What do you mean?" Natsu asked..
"Are we just going to keep on working stuck like this? Adjust to our new bodies and go back to work?"
He was thinking about this, he would have to train Blondie's body from scratch and learn all it's kinks...and the other kind of kinks too. Shit would he have to go lesbian?
Natsu looked deep in thought. "Well yeah. If we can't go back to normal what choice do we have?"
"Whatever happens is fine with me. I'm happy with my arrangement." Happy said holding Erza's head in her metal covered hands. Erza gave her body a nasty look. Laxus wasn't aware that Happys actual face could make such a look. "All I have to do is stay quiet and nobody will know the difference or mess with me cause I'm scary."
"WHAT!?" Erza screamed. "What the hell does that mean."
"Well Erza you can't tell me you're figuring this out now.' Mira said sweetly. Erza glared at her former rival.
"You know that's not the issue! You stupid alley cat! God I just want to be a cute girl again and not have all this going on!" Lucy gestured to Laxus's body. The smells and noises and the thing in his head it was too much. Give her back her spirits and back pain please!
"You gestured to all of me!" Laxus screamed.
"I know that! It's cause I don't want to be stuck like this!" Lucy said getting into her own face.
Natsu and Gray sighed as ice chunk's and fire came out of their mouths.
"Is that frozen chunks of drool!" Laxus asked in disgust. Lucy looked disturbed forgetting Laxus. "That's gross Natsu!"
Erza nodded.
"I'm not doing this because I want to!" Natsu defended. "I know this is gross-" he stopped.
"What is it Gray I mean Natsu?" Erza asked.
"I just realized. All our techniques are weak now, right?"
They all nodded.
"Well if we get stuck like this forever. None of us know how to use our magic. If we did take a job we would never be able to finish it."
Lucy's eyes widen. She sat there thinking about it. Laxus did S-Class missions and the hard stuff. People requested him to come solve their problems! How the heck was she going to pull that off? Sorry can't save your town from that three headed monster! I'm not actually Laxus I'm Lucy!
She looked over to Laxus who looked like he was losing it.
'Weak. I am the weakling now.'
"Aw jeez you're right!' Gray said.
"We stink!" Laxus said.
"That means-" Erza said.
"WE'RE THE WEAKEST IN FAIRY TAIL!"
Laxus fell to his knees. "NOOOOOOO! EVERY THING I HAVE WORKED FOR IS GONE! I'M NOT EVEN S-CLASS ANYMORE!"
"LET'S DO THIS HAPPY!" Natsu screamed. "WE GOTTA TRAIN!"
"AYE!" Happy said racing over to Gray's body. "Ok so how does this work? Ice make?" Natsu said looking at Gray's hands.
"Same. How the hell do you do your fire thing!?" Gray demanded looking at his hands still drooling fire.
Laxus looked at Lucy's keys. "Ok hold on uh- you just explained it this morning... open, door of something-or-other...!"
"Wow this flying stuff is fun! Now I get to sit back and do nothing on missions!"
"Hey! I do plenty!"
"Like what?" Erza snorted. "Stuffing your face and not being funny."
"Hey don't be rude to my cat!" Natsu said defensively.
The saccharine mood returned. Everyone was pretty bummed.
Natsu screamed. "What's the point of living if I can't burn stuff anymore!?"
"To actually be happy and spend time with the ones you love?" Lucy said.
"That's lame!"
Erza hissed. Everyone turned to her. "I didn't think Happy was capable of hissing." Alzack whispered.
""As Fairy Tails strongest female wizard I refuse to be a part of the teams weakest team!"
Laxus started laughing hysterically. "And you shit on me for calling people weak Titania!?"
"SHUT UP LAXUS!".
"You know Lucy laughing manically just sounds different." Wakaba pointed out. Macao and Makarov nodded..
Erza fell to the floor. She hadn't felt this helpless since the Tower...she closed her eyes. She thought of all the people she could not save then...
"It must be cause I've turned into a cat.."
Happy finally stamped Erza's feet. "You know what! You've been nothing but a big meanie ever since we switched bodies. I actually like being a cat!" Happy jumped into the air spreading out Erza's limbs. Erza looked up to see her body about to fall on top of her.
"Oh no..."
Erza was crushed by her own body. Jet and Droy watched Titania struggle reaching out a tiny blue paw. Wakaba and Macao shook their heads.
"What were you trying to do their Erza- I mean Happy?"
Erza continued to reach out this time to Lucy. "Lucy! Use Laxus strength-"
"Ever since we switched bodies she's been mean to me! So I tried to fly away like I usually do when people are mean to me!"
"You know we wouldn't be so mean to you if you weren't such a dick err I mean jerk." Lucy said.
Happy slammed Erza's face into the ground. "But I couldn't- I don't have wings, so I fell!"
"My apologies! Just please get off! Lucy please!" She said reaching out to Lucy.
Lucy shook her head. And easily picked up Erza off of Happy. Erza passed out under the weight of her body on her new tiny one.
"Yes! That's it!" Levy screamed.
"Alright you can lift the spell!?" Natsu said pumped.
Laxus ran at Levy. "Do it please!"
"This ancient writing means, may this eternal exchange bring enteral happiness unto you. Kinda cute right?"
"Awww that kinda is." Lucy said in agreement. Laxus looked at Lucy like she was nuts. He blinked Lucy's eyes rapidly. "WHAT!?"
"AND!?" Natsu screamed feeling impatient like Laxus. "In other words, people who've been switched by this spell will live happily ever after!"
Laxus screamed. "Are you telling me Blondie's my happily ever after?"
"Jeez don't sound too thrilled about it." Lucy said sarcastically. The voice in his head purred at that.
'As if that's going to happen.'
The voice whined.
"Shut. Up." Laxus said annoyed.
"Guys! You're so lucky! I'm so glad I translated that!"
Laxus blinked again. 'Forever!?'
"I didn't ask you to translate the damn thing Levy I asked you to fix this!" Laxus screamed.
Natsu pushed Laxus aside. Laxus blinked. "Did Natsu push me aside!?"
"Yes! Shut up!" Natsu said. "You're telling me that means we're stuck like this!?" He said turning back to Levy.
Gray shook his head. "Levy I love you. But we asked you to fix this, and all you did was figure out what it says!?"
"Oh that's right! I'm sorry!" Levy cried.
"You got this I believe in you but you just got off work a little faster right now to break the spell!" Lucy encouraged. "Maybe there's a hidden code or message?"
"Yeah good idea Lu!"
Jet and Droy picked back up cheering. "Go! Go! Go Levy!"
"Is it me, or is that cheer team more annoying than anything?" Wakaba asked.
"No! It's not you, it hurts my ears." Lucy complained. "And mine!" Gray complained holding Natsu's ears.
"Isn't that racket going to distract her?" Wakaba asked.
"No! they're just trying to get her pumped up and we should help! Makes me wanna join in!"
Wakaba looked disturbed. "Wha-"
"Go! Go! Go Levy!"
Levy growled in frustration. "I'm still not seeing any pattern here! It doesn't seem to make any sense!"
She looked at her books. "No, this makes it even less understandable. it's not even words!"
Levy held her head in her hands.
"Hate to alarm you but..15 more minutes!" Macao said. Lucy in Laxus's body screamed loudly again.
"That sounded like Laxus before puberty!" Makarov said disturbed.
Erza looked defeated. "Well that's it fish everyday from now on... Fish for breakfast lunch and dinner." Erza fell to the ground crying. "I've worked so hard! And now I have to settle for a life where I'll be chasing little mice and little pieces of string and get excited by catnip!" Erza cried flying into the air.
"Calm down Happy! I mean Erza!" Natsu cried chasing her.
"Sorry I got upset. Erza." Happy said walking over to Erza. "Sorry about before. I shouldn't have acted that way. I know this is hard for both of us."
Happy came out from crying from in a corner. "Really!?" She said. "You do?"
"Now is not the time to be bickering, is it? Let's make up!"
"Yes! If course!" Erza said crying, using her paws to wipe away her tears. "I apologize as well.,"
"Aye! Here! This is a symbol of our renewed friendship!" Happy held a fish out to Erza.
"A fish!"
Erza began to cry again.
"Wait... I don't want it!"
Happy was surprised.
"Read the situation better!" Lucy screamed.
"Have you figured it out yet!"Natsu yelled.
"The situation is dire with only 10 minutes to go!" Macao screamed.
"I don't recall asking you for the time!" Natsu screamed. "So shut up!"
"Was just trying to help."
Levy squinted. "Just a little more! I think I'm close to getting it!"
By now Elfman had joined in on the cheering with a bandana and a armband on, waving fans in the air. "Go! Go! Go Levy. Levy you're on fire!"
"He's too suited for this." Wakaba said.
"Well he had practice cheering on Mira." Macao explained..
"Still trying to break the spell?" Makarov said from behind Laxus and Natsu.
"Gramps! Don't you know any spells!? At this rate we're going to be-"
"Look if this is some type of punishment okay we get it we learned our lesson we're not going to steal a S-Class mission ever again."
Makarov looked as if he remembered something all the sudden.
"Yes Master!" Erza asked.
Makarov shrugged. "Nevermind wish I could help you! I'm drawing a blank."
Gray screamed for the umpteenth time. Trying to rip Natsu's pants off.
"DON'T YOU DARE!" Natsu screamed tackling him.
"We're not going to make it in time! Let me go!"
Makarov looked at the floor. "Oh I just remembered something about the spell!"
Everyone ran over to the Master. "As I recall, when lifting this spell, you can only do it a pair at a time. Meaning I believe it's impossible to turn everyone back at once!"
"What!?" Natsu screamed.
Laxus laughed. "Ok so whose going second?"
"What do you mean second?" Gray demanded.
"Cause I'm going first." He laughed like it was obvious.
"Uh no it should be me and other me!" Natsu demanded. Gray nodded.
"Ummmm no. I think it should be me and Laxus!" Lucy argued.
"Not so fast! What will happen to Fairy Tail if I get stuck this way!? Erza demanded. Happy stood over her backing her up.
"Well that should not be a problem! Don't worry I'll carry the guild for you! Besides I'm the Masters grandson!"
"Which he doesn't even like you!"
"Well still goes I'm next in line for this place so-"
Everyone broke out into a fight.
"This is getting ugly!" Wakaba said.
"At least they can't use their magic." Mira pointed out.
"People turn scary when they're backed into a corner." Macao said.
"HOLD ON YOU GUYS! I GOT IT!" Levy screamed throwing down her glasses.
"Seriously!?" Lucy said.
"I found out what this is! The best way to explain it..."
"Levy you can explain later! Hurry!" Natsu screamed.
"Alright!"
Levy began chanting something.
"Lagidb ushaudi orgu urad"
She chanted it over and over again. A barrel of light appeared from the paperwork a colorful rainbow of runes created a circular motion around the table and around everyone. Makarov and Mirajane looked at the spectacle in amazement. The barrel of light went all the way straight up into the sky. Everyonetook a deep sigh of relief whenever the light went away. Lucy and Laxus blinked.
"Hey I'm back to normal!"
"Me too! Thank God!" Laxus said. Lucy and Laxus looked at one another, small smiles on their faces. Lucy blushed thinking he looked attractive. Laxus was going to say something.
"We're normal too!' Gray and Natsu screamed.
"What a relief!" Gray said drooling ice cubes.
Wakaba was confused. "So now you're drooling ice cubes on purpose?"
Gray quickly closed his mouth embarrassed.
"Levy you're so awesome!" Lucy said running over to her hugging the woman.
"I got to admit it shrimp that was impressive. How did you figure it out?" Laxus asked.
"That's right I'm awesome!" She said smiling.
"Alright our cheering worked!" Jet and Droy said high fiving.
"To answer your question Laxus, when I realized there was no meaning to the words. I tried reading them backwards." Laxus and Lucy widened their eyes. "It's actually an ancient trick. ancient languages didn't have that many characters or letters. So they had to be a little bit more creative with expressing themselves and doing certain things. So when I reverse the words it reverse the spell too."
"How cool!" Lucy exclaimed clapping her hands. "I never would have thought of that!"
"Well I owe you big time Levy." Levy blushed a little under Laxus's praise. "Laxus thank you I don't think I've ever heard you ever praised me before. And seriously don't worry about it! I do anything for y'all including Laxus. We're family!"
Laxus was surprised by that.
Erza and Happy took a deep breath.
"I'm still in the wrong body! I'm a cat still!"
"I'm fine with this!" Happy said looking at his new body.
Lucy and Levy screamed.
"Well I guess you switched two pairs back." Macao said.
"Levy there's gotta be something!"
Levy trembled. "Maybe I didn't pronounce the words right?"
"WHAT!?"
"WAKE UP ERZA!" She said slapping herself. "This is a nightmare but you've got to wake up!"
"Oh come on relax this ain't that bad!" Happy said.
"Now, now Erza. There's surely another way."
Erza looked horrified at her Master. It was Mira Jane sitting on a table cross legged staff in hand. Makarov blinked. "Why is my chest so heavy?"
Makarov blinked. "Is it me, am I shorter!?"
"MIRA!" Lucy called.
Laxus blinked. "Jiji?"
"Did Mira switch bodies with Gramps?" Gray screamed.
"Oh boy! You won't hear me complain like my grandson did!" Makarov said with delight. "Think of all the people I can fool with this!"
"NOOOOOOO this can't be! Master please!" Mira said crying. Erza was pissed. "Who else?"
Elfman stood up, "all you need to start acting like a real men! Man up! What's the deal?" He lifted his hand, "why do I smell like a brewery?"
He screamed when he saw himself on a table drinking from a barrel. Cana became confused when she saw her face from the corner of her eye. "What- oh man. I feel like I need a take a nap right now."
Levy was shocked.
"Hey uh Droy-"
"Yeah what is it Jet?"
They stared at one another shocked. "Hey man stop looking like me!"
Makarov leaned his head into his hands. "You two switching places doesn't make much of a difference. But for me having a body like this is a dream come true! Hey Laxus do you think I could fool Goldmine with this!? What about Amy!?"
Laxus looked grossed out. "Fool him how!?"
"Can you help me! He's creeping me out! Levy!" She said waving her arms. "Please help me!"
Levy wanted to puke. "I think I'm in way over my head. Laxus could Freed help?" Laxus looked disturbed. "I would say yes but I don't know if we could get him down here-"
"Whose Freed?" Lucy asked.
"One of my team mates."
"Levy you're just going to have to do your best-"
"Hey Laxus-" Levy asked.
"Yeah?"
"Can you make me a drink I'm going to need one too!"
AN: at the time of writing this authors note, I'm desperately trying to leave work lol so first things first. I would not be expecting a huge chapter like this for a while... possibly. This chapter as it was sent back to me by, I guess she's my beta, it is 10,232 words long. Lol
I would like to apologize for the wait. This chapter became tough to write at certain points especially Lucy with PTSD because I am drawing from a similar situation where I went through myself and it was hard to get it down and I didn't think it would be. so I am sorry for the wait for anybody who kept on looking at this for 2 weeks going what the hell Madaleine. I don't say this for pity I say this to apologize.
