Last time on When Lightning and Stars Collide…..

Jet, Droy, and Levy are still in the hospital recovering from their wounds. Mira is waiting at the guild hall for Fairy Tail to come back. Fairy tail is engaged in battle with Phantom Lord.

But off in a town called Haughston, a dark guild has taken over the city's shipping channel. They are holding all the ships and oil wells hostage to their own gain. The dark guilds guild master that's controlling the city is using a spell to control an mystical sea beast that is currently creating hurricane-like damage over the city. Flooding the city and trapping it's 6 million people in fear and devastation. Creating winds that are tearing the roofs off the houses. Tornados that are uprooting trees and homes. Many of its citizens have resorted to standing on their homes roofs to escape the flooding.

The Thunder Legion has been requested to help the city. Saving it's people and to put an end to this dark guilds evil reign.

Laxus found out about Lucy's kidnapping as well….

Shortly after Laxus got off the comm with Lucy

Laxus was angry as he got up from the chair he was in. His inner dragon was screaming in his head. He was annoyed, what the hell was this thing screaming about. He thought about Lucy, seeing her cry made him want to beat the shit out of whatever it was that upset her. But at the same time, it wasn't his problem. Or was that the wrong way to think about it. It's not like she said she didn't want to be friends or see him again, so in a way he could care about the fact that she was upset and could be someone close to him…. But was she someone close to him?

A storm was raging outside. Hurricane-like winds and rain were coming down on the city. In the distance he could hear a creature wailing. Or was that the wind? He wasn't sure. The plan was to have his team mates go after the guild and Laxus to handle the monster.

He walked over to the door. He looked at the man standing at the door. Freed Justine with his clothes, together with his physical features, made him resemble a French nobleman from the Enlightenment period.

Freed was a slim man of average height with waist-length light-green hair. He raised his hand to move his bangs that were brushed to one side, covering the majority of the right side of his face, revealing his green Fairy Tail Mark, located on the back of his left hand. He had a pair of thin strands jutting out backwards from the sides of his head, both shaped like lightning bolts.

His hair was gathered at the end and tied in a short ponytail. Freed's eyes were greenish blue; beneath the left one lied a small beauty mark. Freed's prominent eyelashes were fluttering as he looked up to his fearless leader.

His red knee-length double-breasted coat fit tightly around his frame,it possessed a wide collar, and a larger lighter-colored cuffs decorated by a darker line on the back part, and edges adorned by two, thin golden lines each.

Over it, around Freed's waist, was a pair of buckled belts, attached on his left hip, was his sword. Underneath, he wore a simple, light-colored shirt with large cuffs and a mildly high collar, mostly obscured by other pieces of his clothing, among which a light cravat was tied around his neck, with the lower part tucked inside the coat.

Freed's attire was completed by a pair of loose light-colored pants tucked inside simple boots, each sporting a line of small buttons on their respective outer sides.

Freed Justine, for all intents and purposes was Laxus's right hand man. The second closest thing he had to a best friend. Bickslow was like a brother. Freed, well he could trust Freed with anything that he couldn't discuss with Bickslow.

Freed stood there looking somber. "I should apologize, I didn't realize that you still had that young lady-" Freed broke off. No one was in the room with him.

"The woman from last night. She left. That was a guild member. She was letting me know Phantom Lord has decided to up their little game, they are attacking other members now."

Freed's eyes widened. "And?"

"She wanted me to come back." He said folding his arms. He stepped back allowing the mage to come into the room.

"Was it Mira?" Freed asked.

"Surprisingly no. It was that new recruit I asked you to look into. The one with celestial magic."

Freed nodded. "The one working with Natsu, Gray and Titania. She seemed to have slight potential but is fairly weak from what I-"

Laxus growled. Freed stopped talking. He watched his fearless leader pace. He did not know much about this mage, but he could tell she had agitated his leader. And that just wouldn't do. He had heard from Bickslow that Laxus had asked her out. He was more than annoyed that this woman had the nerve to turn down Laxus.

"Was this young woman one of the ones attacked?" He said adjusting his red coat.

Laxus shook his head, he walked over to the couch in his room. He rubbed his eyes. "This is strange Freed."

"I agree. But we can't worry about that. While I do not like her, they have Titania and Natsu, and Gray, reckless as they are, they should be enough to at least hold the fort down until you get back and truly save the day."

Laxus smirked. "I don't know if we'll be going to save anything." He wasn't sure about going quite yet. The only person who truly meant anything good was his grandfather and Lucy.

His inner dragon purred to show it's content.

"If that is what you truly wish." Freed said.

"I don't know."

"May I suggest, focusing on saving the town first. Then we can support you in any way you would like?"

"Suggestions are welcomed. And I agree. Saving this town is more important."

"The raid is about to start, I would suggest setting these thoughts aside and then we can tackle the problem with the guild in an organized meeting with the rest of the Legion. If you feel it's necessary for us to intervene we can."

"Good. Sound and logical as always Freed."

"Thank you Laxus-sama!" Freed said blushing.

Laxus rolled his eyes, again with the hero worship. He looked down at the lacrima. He did his best to shove all remaining thoughts of Blondie down. Which was getting harder and more annoying to do…

Laxus wondered how the guild was doing. Were they beating Phantom or was Phantom beating them?

Back in OakTown

The citizens of Oaktown were scared watching the battle ensue from the castle that stood above the city.

The battle was raging on in the Phantom Lord guild hall. Ice, bullets, fire, were flying everywhere.

Cana was using her card magic to take down the several mages that surrounded her.

"Card Magic: Lightning. Reverse Tower. Lovers." She said holding up three cards. Her green seal popped up. "Fate of Lightning!" She said as lightning came out of her cards. Several mages lied on the ground twitching from her attack. She looked around and saw that Loke was on the other side of the guild now.

Loke's Ring Magic was causing damage to the guild halls actual structure. Causing the roof and the walls to fall down on several mages. Loke looked around and saw Elfman using his take over magic.

He screamed as a purple magic seal engulfed his arm. Loke sweat dropped as he saw Elfman take out 9 guys in one punch.

"Come on! Be a man! Don't you wanna be a man like me!?"

Loke sweat dropped.

"That doesn't even make any sense!" A mage called out.

"That guy is brutal!"

"What's with his arm?"

"It's Take Over Magic!"

"He's turned his arm into a monster arm though-why would he allow a monster to take over his arm?"

"That's Elfman Strauss."

"I've heard of that guy. He's the guy that defeats monsters and absorbs their power! He's called Beast Arm Elfman."

In the distance, the Phantom mages heard a familiar laugh. It sent shivers down their spines. They looked up to see Gajeel jumping off a beam that held the roof up.

He landed on the ground causing the floor to crack. The Fairy Tail mages turned around to stare at him.

"Is that-"

"It has to be-"

"Black Steel Gajeel."

Erza turned around after knocking out her current competitor. She glared up at Gajeel. 'So this is the Iron Dragon Slayer.' Through the cloud of dust, she had to admit herself that he looked fearsome looking down upon everyone with red glowing eyes.

She turned around when she heard Nab scream. "You attacked Levy!" He said in mid air. He was getting ready to punch Gajeel in the face when Gajeel extended his arm into a giant iron beam. It punched Nabs stomach. He went flying backwards into the ground for a good 10 ft. The attack took down Phantom's mages too.

"Nab!" Erza screamed.

"What the-" Loke said astonished.

"That bastard caught his own friends in that attack." Gray said.

Gajeel was laughing mancially. "Come at me scum!" He said, smirking. His arm returning to normal. "Unless you're too scared to take on the fearsome Iron Dragon Slayer. I'll take you all on."

Erza watched Elfman scream. "Too scared? Real men have no fears! Men are still men even if they're scum like you!"

He leapt at Gajeel like a panther. His purple seal popping up. His arm took on the form of a rock monster. It was inches from Gajeel's face before he stopped it.

"Elfman, huh?"

Gajeel threw another punch, his arm extending into another iron beam. Elfman quickly dodged. Years of fighting beasts had taught him to be quick on his feet. Gajeel kicked his leg out extending it into another iron beam he smirked thinking he was going to land a blow. He was shocked when Elfman calmly stopped it with his hand. He didn't even move an inch from where he stood.

Gajeel smiled. "Not bad." He said in a complimentary tone.

"It's 'cause I'm a real man. And I've dealt with scarier and stronger monsters than you." He said glaring.

"Oh yeah!" Gajeel snickered. He concentrated on his leg. Several mini beams sprung from all sides of his leg. Elfman's eyes widened as he dodged them, still holding on to Gajeels leg. The attack took out several of Gajeel's guild mates. Elfman was confused. Still holding on to Gajeel's leg, he looked around. "You're attacking your own comrades when your fight is with me? Who's the real scum here?"

"Cause I knew," Gajeel said, making a fist, "it would distract you." He punched Elfman, his arm becoming another iron beam. It hit him in the face knocking him backwards. Elfman grunted as he felt Natsu use him as a springboard. Leaping off of him.

"GAJEEL!" Natsu screamed.

Gajeel stared as Natsu came at him. Natsu was quicker than he was. His fire knocked him back, sending him flying towards the bar.

"That kid sent him flying."

"I've never seen anyone do that before."

Natsu was smiling, as he walked closer to Gajeel. Gajeel himself recovered quickly standing again. He laughed.

Natsu looked unimpressed. "Allow me to introduce myself." Natsu said as his fists ignited. "I'm Fairy Tails Dragon Slayer." Natsu looked crazed for a moment. He looked like he had gone beserk.

Gajeel smiled. Something about this kid seemed familiar. But he didn't know why.

"Elfman let me handle this." Natsu said.

"Damn you Natsu! You use me as a trampoline, and now you're interfering with MY fight! That is not manly!"

Gajeel was staring intently at Natsu. This fight was more interesting than Beast Boy's. "Iron Dragon Club!" He said rushing at Natsu. His silver green magic seal popped up as his arm extended. The punch collided with Natsu. Erza gasped taking a step forward preparing to jump in when she saw that Natsu had grabbed hold of the beam. He was sliding backwards on his feet. But otherwise, unharmed.

"Natsu! Be careful!" She cried.

Natsu was angry, he was heating up the metal with his magic. Steam was coming off of the iron beam. "You destroyed my guild hall, and attacked my friends."

Gajeel's eyes twitched as he felt the heat coming up through his arm. Natsu's hands burst into flames as he held onto the beam. "I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!"

He picked up the beam and swung it around. Gajeel allowed the force of Natsu's strength to propel himself in the air. He retracted his arm, using the momentum he had, to push off the beam he angled himself at. He extended his arm, coming at Natsu. Natsu roared as he reared back his fist again. With one arm he blocked Gajeel's attack. The other arm he punched him in the face. Sending him backwards, flipping in the air. Gajeel landed hard against a wall.

Watching from the side lines, Wakaba smiled. "Whoo he's all revved up now."

Macao nodded. "Hate to be that other guy."

Erza smiled hearing what Macao and Wakaba said. "He's quite impressive."

Elfman sighed in defeat. "Alright Natsu! You can have this fight just this once! But you better!"

Natsu smiled. His boyish charm returning to his face. "You bet buddy! I'll beat him to a pulp!"

Under a pile of rubble Gajeels arm broke free. He got up shaking the debris off of him. "Nice try. But that had no effect at all."

Natsu turned around, the excitement of a challenge in his eyes. "True. But not for much longer. It looks like I hurt you."

"That so?" Gajeel said, running at him. Natsu was caught off guard by how fast he was. Gajeel kicked him in the face, his leg becoming another beam. Natsu was sent flying across the room. Natsu collided in to his comrades and Phantoms mages.

Gray shook his head watching the fight. "Oh man, that probably hurt."

"This is crazy." Loke said.

Gajeel walked over to Natsu, his eyes glowing again. "Oh come on, now. I know that didn't hurt you." He said sarcastically. "Can you dish it out but not take it?"

The rubble Natsu was under exploded into flames. His eyes glowing red, his face becoming twisted and demonic. He laughed, "going to take a lot more than that."

"You're a sweltering bastard. You know that? You think you can beat me?" Gajeel scoffed. His silver green seal popped up around his fist.

"What do you mean, think? I know I can!" Natsu laughed, his own red orange magic seal popping out of his fist.

Gajeel smiled running at him, "get ready to be crushed!"

Gajeel threw out another punch. Natsu dodged it, his fist stopping it. "Don't get cocky, scrap-metal freak! You better start stepping up your game!"

Gajeel nodded appreciatingly. "The rumors are true. You're quite powerful indeed." Gajeel retracted his arm. "That actually burns a little." He laughed. "Is that all you got, Salamander." Gajeel's fist had steam coming off of it.

"Don't worry. That was just my warm up." Natsu growled. "You ain't seen nothing yet you metal headed freak!"

No one watching could tell you who lunged first. It all happened so quickly. All they knew was that Gajeel and Natsu were throwing punches. Gajeel landed a blow to Natsu's stomach. It sent Natsu flying back slightly. "He's tough." Natsu muttered.

Gajeel laughed before jumping at Natsu. Natsu watched him descend upon him, he reared back his fist sending a stream of fire at Gajeel. Gajeel used Natsu's arm to propel himself backwards. Flipping in the air, he made metal spikes come out of his boots. They hooked into a wooden beam. He hung upside down, smiling. He looked like a bat hanging upside down.

Natsu leapt upwards, Gajeel used his forearm to block his attack. Natsu used his other fist to send Gajeel flying. Dislodging him from the beam he was on. Gajeel flipped through the air. He hit several beams before he could manage to grab a hold of one. His shoes hooking into a beam. He crouched upside down.

Natsu leapt onto a beam. "Now I'm all fired up."

"Don't get cocky punk. Destroying you will actually be satisfying."

Mages scrambled out of the way to not get hit by the beams.

A loud crash was heard around the guild.

"Everything's shaking." Wakaba said nervously looking around. Macao was behind him looking around as well. "I guess they're going at it."

"This is bad." Gray muttered.

"What's going on?" A Phantom Mage asked.

"I think Master Makarov is angry." Cana laughed.

"The Giant's Wrath." Loke whispered.

"No one will be able to stop him." Nab smiled.

"The guild is shaking." A mage said.

"He's going to make the roof collapse."

"When the Master gets angry, he's the picture perfect example of what it means to be a man." Elfman smiled.

Erza looked around, she swung her sword. "Prepare to fight! As long as we have Master Makarov. We can not lose."

Master Makarov descended up the Tower, the floor broke beneath him. 'I'm coming Jose. Are you ready?'

Laxus and the Thunder Legion

Laxus felt a pit in his stomach.

"You ok boss?" Bickslow asked. They were walking around the empty streets. The roads were slick and wet. It looked like they were walking on black glass. The street lights gave an eery glow. It was the middle of the day but it might as well been midnight here.

Laxus looked annoyed. "Hmmm?" He said distracted.

"You ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Go catch up with Freed and Evergreen. I'm going to go down to the docks and wait for that monster." Right now they were in the eye of the storm. The rain and wind had died down. But that wouldn't last forever.

"Don't disappoint me and come back beaten."

Bickslow rolled his eyes, his boss's way of showing concern and wishing them good luck needed work. If it weren't for the fact that he could see the man's soul he would have said that the man didn't care about them. Laxus's soul said otherwise though.

"You got it. I would say good luck. But I don't think you need it."

"You're right," Laxus said, walking away towards the docks. "I don't." His coat billowing behind him.

Laxus was confused waiting at the docks. That pit in his stomach was growing. 'What the hell is going on?'

The inner dragon growled.

'Do you know something I don't?'

The inner dragon just growled.

'Protect'

'Protect what? The town? Isn't that what we're doing?'

Laxus was confused, what was he supposed to protect?

His thoughts were cut off by a scream. 'Time to get to work,' he thought. 'Protecting this town.' He thought curtly.

The inner dragon just growled as Laxus leapt into battle.

'Punk'.

Tempest winds surrounded Laxus. They had been fighting for what felt like hours. He growled as the monster managed to land a blow. The creature long ago figured out that as long as Laxus had lightning, he had an endless supply of magic. It was a matter of time before one or both were wiped out from exhaustion.

Torrential rain came down upon him, he looked around. He could see nothing through the rain and waves surrounding him. Laxus was trying to maintain the battle on land but away from the town.

He knew the minute that monster got him out to sea he was fucked. But that's where the monster had the most advantage.

Laxus summoned more lightning from the sky, the monster howled as it was struck in the eyes and various limbs. Laxus leapt at the thing, he wished he had a solid idea of what this thing looked like.

All he knew from the lightning flashes, was that this thing had a long tail and what looked like tentacles coming out of it's head.

The monster had red glowing eyes and sharp teeth. Laxus leapt, a yellow magic seal appeared as an exaggerated image of his fist collided with its head. Lightning again came down from the storm clouds. The creature howled again in pain. It swung its tail at Laxus knocking the man into the sea. Laxus landed hard into the water. It was cold, it shocked his senses. He swam quickly to the top gasping for air. He held his breath as he teleported out of the water and back on to land. He panted, he reached a hand into the sky. Lightning came down into his hand. He ate it like a protein bar. Feeling recharged he smirked.

"Is that the best you got?" He screamed.

The creature howled. Laxus looked up, he barely saw what looked like a hand come crashing down on him thanks to the nearby green lightning. He leapt out of the way.

A giant crater was left in the ground. Laxus leapt again, as the hand came down he punched it, putting enough strength behind it to send the monsters hand backwards. He landed back on his feet.

The creature used its tail to create a wall of water to come down on Laxus. Not having enough time to teleport out of the attack, he held onto a rock. The water came down on him beating against him like a thousand baseball bats.

When most of the water rained down he let go of the rock. He sunk into the wet sand underneath him.

Laxus felt a stab at his heart. He grabbed his chest. 'Did that thing-"

It hadn't , but Laxus didn't see the actual hit coming. The monster's claws swiped at him. His shirt and pants were ripped to shreds.

He stumbled backwards. Summoning another blast of lightning at the thing. The creature howled so loudly that it hurt his sensitive ears. Laxus grabbed his head. "Aw fuck!" He thought disoriented. The monster tried to slash at him, but Laxus electrocuted the thing again. He absorbed more lightning as it came down from the sky.

Laxus felt a twinge of fear, his stomach dropped. He looked around. 'What-'

The monster took advantage and swung its tail again. Laxus was hit again falling into a wall. "Fuck!"

Lightning came down upon him making him glow. Laxus raised his clenched fist in the air. "Resounding through the air, the roar of thunder, plunge from the heavens and reap destruction!" A large bolt of lightning descended upon the monster. The monster screamed, the water was boiling around it from the lightning that struck it.

While Laxus looked around. A fleeting thought of Lucy plagued him. He shook his head, he couldn't think about her right now. Fighting, he felt a knawing pit in his stomach. Something was wrong he didn't know what it was but something was wrong. His inner dragon howled. The monster he was fighting lunged at him. Laxus jumped backwards. The rain had soaked him to the bone.

As he prepared to lunge at the beast he was caught off guard by the growing feeling of concern in his stomach again. Oddly enough it was about his grandfather and Lucy and he didn't know why….

Back at Phantom

Makarov was making his way upstairs. The building crumbled under Makarov's intense magical pressure. He destroyed the entryway into Jose's private study. Bright yellow light exploded everywhere, debris scattered all over the room.

Master Jose smiled as he lazily watched Makarov walk forward destroying his study. The windows exploded shattering glass all over him. He calmly brushed it off.

"Jose!"

Jose smiled, folding his arms. "Oh, look at what the cat dragged in."

"What was the meaning of this!?" Makarov's eyes glazed.

"It's been a while, Makarov. I believe it was the conference six years ago when we last met." He shook his head. "I was at a real loss then. I was a bit inebriated at the time, you see. I can't hold my liquor as well as you can it seems."

Makarov was angry. He enlarged his fist rearing back to punch the arrogant prick in front of him. His fist collided violently into the chair Jose sat in. It shattered into pieces.

"I'm not here to make small talk Jose!"

Jose still sat calmly in the chair. But this time it became fuzzy. He became fuzzy. Almost glitchy.

"A projection? I should have known!" Makarov glared as his fist retracted. "Don't tell me you fled the building."

"A fight between fellow Saint Wizards would prove to be catastrophic."

This time Jose stood up, the chair behind him disappeared. "I would simply prefer a more sensible victory, you see."

"Where are you? Face me, man-to-man." Makarov glared.

Before him a fuzzy image of Lucy appeared. It was faint but it became more and more clearer. She was tied up and unconscious.

Makarov gasped.

"Lucy wh-? Why?"

Jose laughed. "She's a member of your guild….and yet you don't know who Miss Lucy Heartfilia actually is?" He laughed.

Makarov thought about it.

Makarov stared at Lucy. "Child, I do not care about how you know how to do these things you're good enough to do everything else around here, I'm sure you can at least help me figure out the books. Why you ran away from your home life is not any of my concern."

Lucy gasped. "You know about that?"

Makarov nodded. "I guess Laxus also told you that he found it suspicious when you gave me your papers, I also raised an eyebrow. But I figured any reason why you didn't put your identity down as good as a person as you are must mean that you were running from something and not that you were a murderer, or a double agent."

'Heartfilia. So that was her last name.'

"I never cared about that! She is another one of my children no matter where she comes from."

'Also, help's that she made my brat of a grandkid happy..'

He watched in horror as Jose raised his hand. A purple magic seal appeared.

"STOP!" Makarov cried. Makarov froze, he felt a dark presence behind him. He looked back, a tall and massive man with tanned skin was behind him. He had a rectangular, elongated face with prominent cheekbones, and a rounded chin that jutted downwards. His eyes were hidden by a simple, light blindfold.

Around his neck, was a large orange-colored necklace composed of several crosses linked together by small beads, which on the front, right below his neck, bore a small skull, with its eyes obscured by a blindfold, passing over his shoulders and hanging on the front was instead a wide stole, which was purple and white in color it was covered in intricate motifs. A green colored hat sat loftly on top of his head.

From this angle his limbs were smaller and thinner in comparison to the large mass of his body. His massive upper body was covered by a large, loose green coat sporting white edges that were closed around his neck, sporting a wide and high collar, but left open on the front below it.

A similar robe, that was yellow in color, almost reached down to Aria's feet, revealing an extremely loose pair of pants with prominent hems and a pair of simple, dark shoes.

'Oh no. I hadn't sensed this man at all.'

"H-H- How sad." The man said, crying. He was glowing bright yellow. Makarov felt pain all over his body, he was getting weaker. He felt a stab to the heart. He fell to the ground screaming. He landed on the ground with a hard thud.

Elfman was the first to hear it.

"What the…?"

"Something fell down!"

Natsu looked over at where the object fell. Gajeel smiled still upside down. Erza, Gray, and Loke all looked horrified. Their hearts stopped.

A man descended from the rafters. "It's heartbreaking," he said crying. "Why am I feeling so melancholy?"

He cried softly. The other mages surrounding him stared in shock. Makarov was on the ground clutching his heart. He was green. He was struggling to breath.

"It must be because the world has just lost another great Wizard."

"What happened to me?" Makarov wheezed. "I feel weak, my magic." He thought about everything the guild, his children, his grandson. 'Is what death feels like?'

"Gramps!" Natsu screamed.

"Are you alright?" Gray said, running to the man.

The man stood there crying. "Such sorrow!"

From the rafters they heard Jose laughed. "Makarov is powerless now. Thanks to Aria of the Heavens, a member of Phantom's Element 4. He has the ability to make other Wizards' powers disappear into thin air. I think it's safe to say, we've won this round Fairy Tail."

Makarov was clutching his chest. "My power is…"

Cana, Gray, and Natsu were on the ground around Makarov. Erza held him.

Happy flew down, "Matser, calm down."

"What happened to him?" Cana asked.

"I don't know, but I don't sense any magic energy coming from him at all." Gray said.

Elfman was stunned. "Gray, are you saying he's just an ordinary old man now?"

"No, that can't be!" Happy cried.

"Come on, Gramps! You can pull through this." Natsu said worry in his eyes.

Gajeel looked on at the scene in amusement. "Guess the fun's over. And just when things were getting good."

He watched Gray from down below.

"I don't understand. Gramps is so powerful. How'd they beat him?"

Elfman looked up, past the rafters that Gajeel was hanging from.

"Only way to find out is to go up there."

Gajeel watched as his fellow guildmates seemed to wake up.

"The master's been defeated."

"For real?"

"What? He's out?"

"That's right."

"You guys, we can beat 'em?"

"They're not half as strong without their Master."

"And we've got Gajeel and the Element 4 on our side."

The morale was slowly coming back to the Phantom Mages. Erza gasped realizing what was happening. "This is bad." She whispered.

"Now's our chance!"

"Let's get them!"

The Phantom Lord guild charged at them, Screaming.

Natsu was pissed. "Don't you start getting cocky!" Fire exploded all around them.

Loke and Gray backed into one another. "Aw crap what now?"

"Now, we just fight harder." He said looking around. "Cana!" He cried noticing three men about to gang up on her. Macao and Wakaba heard him and saw what he saw.

Cana turned around looking away from her attackers that she was currently facing, and saw three men practically on top of her from behind "Take this! Tri-element combo attack!"

"Cana!" Wakaba screamed.

She scrambled to get out of the way as earth, water, and fire spells were hurled at her. Macao threw himself in front of the blast. "Just in time," he said shielding her from the attack. "You're lucky."

"Macao!" She screamed running over to the man.

"Idiot! Macao! You shouldn't push yourself so hard! You're too old for this!"

"Don't say that! I'm not too old!" He croaked.

Gajeel looked down upon everyone laughing. "Well I can see where this is going." He was still hanging upside down. He laughed when he saw Titania's face. She looked devastated.

Erza watched the scene unfold before her. It was highly reminiscent of something that happened to her before. She was shaking.

Her guildmates like her friends back then were being beaten mercilessly. 'Damn you, history has a nasty way of repeating itself.'

She looked down at Makarov who was struggling to breath right next to her.

"We can't do this!" She whispered through the tears. She wiped them away. "Without the Master, we're just not strong enough. Without him our morale is just not strong enough."

"We must retreat!"

She screamed at the top of her lungs, "Everyone, back to the guild at once!"

Natsu was shocked. "What!?"

Various guildmates reflected his sentiment.

"We can't just give up!" Gray insisted.

"Real men never retreat!" Elfman agreed.

"I've got fight left in me!" Macao said holding on to Cana.

"Let's stay Erza!" Cana pleaded.

"We can't! We don't stand a chance against Jose. Now retreat! That's an order!"

Erza watched her guildmates run. She was looking around trying to spot anyone who was too injured to run away.

"Everybody out! Let's go!" She commanded.

She saw Gray still fighting. She ran over to him trying to stop him. She pulled on his shoulder. Gray whirled on her.

"I'm not going back quite yet!" Gray argued. "I won't leave till I have revenge. They have to pay for what they did to us!" He punched another guy.

Erza grabbed him by the shoulders. "Please!" She cried.

"Erza?"

She fell into him, her head buried in his neck. "I'm sorry." She said hugging him. "But you have to understand it's our only option! We need him! We need to get him help! We will all be completely helpless without him." She cried.

Gray tched. But finally grabbed her hand and pulled her out the guild hall. "Come on!" He said running after their guild mates.

Erza looked for Makarov and was relieved to see that Elfman was carrying him. He ran out the door.

Makarov lied in Elfman's arms, wondering seriously if this time he overdid it. And would he be able to come back after this. He closed his eyes, falling asleep.

On top of a skyscraper an older gentleman with no hair and a bushy mustache was chanting. His hands were held as if he were praying. Multiple green magic seals surrounded him. He was chanting the spell that was controlling the beast that was fighting Laxus. The air around him was charged.

"Let's see how you handle this Laxus Dreyar." He chuckled darkly.

"Not today buddy!" Bickslow said, running at the man. Bickslow managed to punch the guy in the jaw. He was exhausted. The Thunder Legion had managed to take down the guild but now had to fight the guild master.

"Why you little!" The older man said getting ready to summon his magic energy.

"That won't be necessary-" Freed said calmly. He brought down his sword in front of the man nearly cutting off the man's hand. "It would be wise of you to give up now."

"Never!" He cried. As he summoned more magical energy. A sword appeared in his hand. "Let's see if you clowns are actually good as they say you are." He said preparing to fight.

Back at the beach, Laxus was starting to get tired. This was exhausting. Golf ball sized hail was starting to come down on him. 'You've got to be kidding me.'

Somehow the monster and him ended up in the downtown districts of what he thought was called Gaveshton.

He didn't know how they got there. But that monster was causing havoc in the tiny streets. It's massive feet and tail were breaking buildings. He kept on throwing lighting at it. It's tail knocked into a light post, it fell on Laxus pinning him.

The monster swung its head trying to bite him. Laxus's magic seal popped up, an exaggerated fist came out and punched it in the face. It howled once more, Laxus quickly got up and grabbed a nearby wooden beam. If you asked him later how he did it, he wouldn't be able to tell you but he took it and stabbed it in the eye. The monster threw its head back in pain. It tried to shake the beam from its eye.

Laxus summoned more lightning. It rained down upon the creature. The monster howled. Laxus was about to deliver another blow when he heard something. It sounded like a child.

He looked around the empty streets. There shouldn't have been anyone. They were all told to evacuate.

He narrowed his eyes. The monster was on the ground for now. Hail, and rain continued to pour down on him. He looked around and sure enough he saw a child among some rubble. His eyes widened. 'What the hell?' He ran over to the child it was digging at some debris.

"Oi! What the hell do you think you're doing?"

That's when he saw the hand sticking out of the rubble. Laxus didn't think twice, he started to throw the debris around and found a woman lying underneath. She was disoriented.

"Come on lady!" He growled. The kid looked up at him with big wide eyes. "Can you move?" He asked her. She nodded weakly.

"Go! Get out of here!"

The monster howled, recovering. Laxus turned around as he saw the monster's tail coming at them. "Out of the way!" Laxus screamed. He pushed them both out of the way. Laxus was going to hit it again with more lightning but the creature took advantage and dived into the sea.

"FUCK!" He screamed.

Back at Phantom

The Fairy Tail members were running out of the guild. Helping one another getting out of the guild hall.

Gajeel laughed as he saw them retreat. "There the scum go. I knew it wouldn't be long before those Fairy Clowns gave up. Gutless cowards."

"They're retreating with sorrow in their hearts." Aria commented on the same beam. Only he wasn't upside down like Gajeel.

"Aria?" Gajeel asked, surprised, propelling himself upwards next to him. He landed like a cat on the beam.

"I see you're just as creepy as ever. I gotta commend you on taking out that Fairy Tail geezer."

"I just followed Master Jose's orders." He said simply. "But thank you!" He said bursting into tears.

Gajeel looked disturbed. "Why are you always crying? Jeez, cut it out?"

"So what happened with that Lucy girl?" He said, smirking.

Natsu had been helping, making sure anyone who was really hurt wasn't left behind. Once he made sure no one was left behind he made his way to leave. But a conversation on the rafters caught his attention.

Natsu with his sensitive hearing heard Gajeel talking about Lucy. He turned around glaring up at Gajeel. He was pissed hearing her name coming out of that trash's mouth.

"The girl has been captured. The poor wretch is being held in a cell at headquarter's."

"So much for giving her a warm welcome." Gajeel laughed.

Natsu's eyes widened. "No fucking way."

"Is something wrong?" Happy asked.

"GAJEEL!" Natsu screamed.

Gajeel looked down at him. "We'll finish this someday." He smirked. "Salamander."

Aria put his hand on Gajeel's shoulder, they shifted away out of the building.

"Those jerks kidnapped Lucy."

Happy gasped holding his hands to his face.

Natsu looked around, he grabbed the nearest mage he could get a hold of and put him in a choke hold. The man yelped, he turned around to see Natsu pissed. His eyes were glowing. "No. The Salamander! And that cat!"

Happy felt a little smug. 'That's right buddy be scared of me!'

Natsu however, looked demonic. "You got it buddy. And we need to have a little chat." He said bursting into flames.

"Please don't hurt me!" The man screamed!

"You'll be lucky if I'm the only one who beats you into a pulp over this." Natsu muttered. Dragging the mage off to somewhere more private to have this chat.

When Laxus got back into the room it was night time, he was exhausted. That damn monster had escaped! And into the damn sea. He went over to his room and grabbed a shirt. The monster had destroyed his other shirt. So he was looking through his bag. He was debating on going back out there or getting a few hours of sleep. He needed to recharge his containers. He could meditate, something he did do in a pinch if he absolutely needed to. It would help him almost absorb more magical energy in a real pinch. But most often he slept to refill his container. Rummaging through his bag the soft glow of communication lacrima caught his attention.

He cocked his head. He walked over to it forgetting about his shirt. He picked up the little ball and saw it had a faint message. It was a missed call. He rolled his eyes if that was his grandfather or someone else- he mentally pushed a small amount of magic into the lacrima, a soft string of lightning connecting him to the crystal. It popped out a little green magic seal, it was Blondie.

He noticed how long the message was.

10 minutes.

Was she writing a novel to him? What the hell?

He watched it.

"Hey Laxus, I know you're not picking up. You left because of that raid you had to do-" she laughed nervously. "Probably really dumb to call you but-" she stopped.

He watched the message, his gray eyes narrowed.

"Probably the last person you want to talk too-" it went fuzzy.

His inner dragon whined. 'That's true. But not true.'

"What? Rain? When it's sunny out?" She asked, distracted. She looked away from the lacrima.

"Who-who are you?" She asked, scared.

He couldn't see anything, Blondie's skirt was in the way from how she held the thing.

"Drip, drip, drop.. Juvia is the rain woman." He heard a female voice say. Laxus cocked an eyebrow. Juvia? As in Juvia of the Great Sea, as in one of Phantom's S-Class mages. Laxus's stomach turned

"And what sort of woman would you be?" Juvia asked. Laxus took a sharp inhale. His inner dragon was focused as well on this.

"Just the regular kind!"

"Drip, drip, drop." Juvia said walking past her.

"Uh... What's with all the drip dropping?"

"That was enjoyable. Take care."

"Well jeez take the rain with ya!" She screamed. Laxus smirked, she was adorable when she was angry. One of the things he liked about her was that she was fiesty.

Laxus watched Blondie sigh looking at the comm.."guess I'm being foolish aren't I Laxus?"

"Non, non, non! Non, non, non!" A male voice was heard.

Lucy stared at the comm scared. "Laxus I-" she broke off..

"I bid you a bonjour!" A male voice with a strange accent said. Laxus gripped the thing tightly.

"Another weirdo!" Lucy screamed.

"Lady Juvia. You know better than to neglect your work!"

"No Monsieur Sol." Juvia said.

"My monocle is whispering to me,"

"That's not creepy!" He heard Lucy mutter. Laxus had to agree, the pit in his stomach growing bigger the same feeling he had earlier.

"That this mademoiselle before us is our lovely cible."

"Cible?" Laxus asked, confused. He wasn't good at learning languages. His brain wasn't hard wired for that. That's why he always jokes around about keeping Freed around. Besides being a subtle

compass so he didn't get lost...

"Oh my, it was her?"

"Cible? Target?" Lucy said, scared. The lacrima image was shaking. She must have been shaking her fist when this was being recorded. Laxus was starting to get anxious, his inner dragon was making low growls.

"Pardon my late introduction. My name is Sol. I am of the Element 4. Also known as 'Sol of the Great Earth'. But it would behoove you to call me Monsieur Sol."

"What?" Lucy asked. "I've heard of Element 4! You're a part of Phantom!"

"That's right! The great Phantom Lord has sent us to collect you."

A bolt of electricity went flying towards a lamp. Laxus gripped the lacrima tightly. "Blondie get the Hell out of there!"

The lacrima swung again.

"This is the Rain Woman, another number of the Element 4. She is known as "Juvia of the Great Sea."

Laxus grunted so he had been right? He wasn't happy about it this time.

"You're the ones who attacked my friends and Levy! How dare you!"

"BLONDIE I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DIDN'T RUN!" He looked at the message, 6 more minutes.

He watched in horror as she was engulfed in water. The image faded out, becoming fuzzy and gray. The lacrima recorded some crash and a roll before settling on Blondie beating against the water lock spell. He had heard of it, never seen it.

He didn't know anyone to have broken it.

"No, no, no! I wish to clear up a misunderstanding with you. A reasonable guess but we are not the ones to blame." He chuckled darkly.."That was Black Steel Gajeel. Who did that. It was Sir Gajeel who destroyed the guild and attacked Miss Levy. Though I guess that doesn't change the fact that this was the entire guilds decision."

The video went fuzzy. Laxus involuntarily slapped the side of the lacrima. As if that would have fixed it. It came back again..

Lucy pounded her hands against the bubble. "Why are you doing this! Let me out!" Her voice was distorted from the water.

Laxus began sparking all over. His inner dragon was threatening to break from whatever mental chains and confines it had.

"Don't waste your breath, Juvia's Water Lock cannot be broken." She said in a monotone voice.

The inner dragon in his head was screaming. Clawing at his brain. It was almost like it was trying to take over. Pushing his consciousness to the back seat and taking the wheel for him.

Lucy looked at the comm one more time before closing her eyes succumbing to the fact she had no air left…. Red sparks came out of Laxus's eyes as he watched Lucy give one last look at the lacrima. She was scared.

Monsieur Sol was laughing. He wanted to beat that Sol guy for laughing at Lucy losing consciousness. Laxus was worried. Was he going to have to watch her die?

"Do not be afraid. Juvia will not kill you. Juvia has explicit orders to bring you back alive. You are nothing more than the target for our retrieval mission."

"That's good. I'm only going to partially kill you then-" Laxus ranted. He stopped though when he heard her finish her statement.

"...Lady Lucy Heartfilia."

'They knew who she was.'

She walked away with Lucy passed out in the bubble. He saw her retreating form go out of view. "Capture complete. Drip, drip, drop."

The screen went black slowly.

Laxus was breathing heavily. He was so angry he was shaking. He roared. A powerful bolt of lightning and thunder came crashing through the roof and into Laxus's body. He was glowing bright yellow. He threw down the lacrima, it broke into tiny pieces and stormed out the room. He banged on Bickslow's room.

"What? What happened? Who am I!" Bickslow said waking up and falling out of his bed. Bickslow was confused. He looked over at the door, someone was banging on it. Bickslow got up, wrapping the blanket around him.

"Yes?" Bickslow said blinking. The light was bright in the hallway. "Get up and get dressed."

"Why?" Bickslow asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Do I need a reason? When I ask you to do something-"

Bickslow was annoyed. "Sure, why don't I stick a broom up my ass and sweep the floor-"

"Excuse me?" Laxus growled.

"I said you owe me at least coffee-"

"I'll consider it."

Bickslow watched Laxus walk away. Bickslow looked longily at the bed. He collapsed into said bed. "One of these days I'll tell him to stuff it, have Freed deal with shit because the gravitational pull of a bed is too great." Bickslow gave the bed one last squeeze, a snuggle, before putting on his clothes. He yawned, he opened the door to see Freed begging Laxus.

"I can go with you! I can do whatever-"

"Freed! I need you to stay here! Finish the job. Bickslow and I will leave- I'll be back!"

"Leave?" Bickslow yawned. Coming into the conversation. "Where?"

'Was this not about the mission?' He was a little slow.

"You can't be serious! Choosing Bickslow over me!"

"Freed, calm down and shut up. Finish the damn job and get the Hell back to Magnolia."

"Bickslow you packed and ready to go?"

Bickslow looked around, "ummm I'm dressed. Not packed-"

Laxus growled.

Bickslow crossed his arms. "You said dressed! Not pack and get dressed."

Laxus glared. "Freed pack Bickslow's bag when it's time to leave!"

"WHAT! YOU'RE MAKING ME PACK HIS BAG!"

Laxus whirled on Freed. "I don't have time to deal with Bickslow packing. So you will do what I say!"

Freed looked betrayed, but nodded.

Bickslow was shocked himself. "Boss what's going on?"

"Lucy has been taken by Phantom Lord. We're getting her back now."

Freed bristled. 'All this for a girl!?'

"Ok. Few questions. Do we know where they've taken her?"

"No." Laxus stalked down the hall.

Bickslow ran after him, he woke up his babies. Freed stood back as his totems flew by him. He glared at his leader and team mate. 'All this over a woman?'

"What in God's name is going on out here?" Evergreen asked. Evergreen was the final and third member of the Thunder Legion. Evergreen had light brown hair, dark brown eyes and visible pink lips. She wore oval glasses and had a very voluptuous figure paired with very large breasts and curvy hips. Her green Fairy Tail Mark was visible on her right breast due to her nightgown. Her lavender silk colored nightgown fit tightly over her womanly body.

Freed took a deep breath. "We've been left to finish the job. Laxus and Bickslow have left us."

That got her attention. She widened her eyes. "Why?"

"I believe it has to do with some girl's disappearance." Freed said annoyed, slamming the door behind him. Evergreen was shocked..'what the hell did I miss?'

Bickslow was concerned, he at least managed to score a box of kolaches and a coffee. It was early in the morning, he was tired. Laxus had been hunting down all what was left of last night, a particular mage who thought he could talk smack to him the other night. He was apparently in Phantom. He really didn't know. He was just a tired hungry Seith Mage.

He was munching on a jalapeno sausage and cheese kolache before Laxus came out dragging said man from a pub.

'Kinda early to be drinking, but hey it's 5. O'clock somewhere,' he guessed.

"And who is this?" The man's face was so beaten up and swollen Bickslow couldn't ID him.

"Lucky for us. I remembered the punk I hit with 10k volts the other day for talking shit about our guild, like I said earlier he is actually from Phantom."

Laxus showed the man's, well now broken arm, Bickslow wasn't sure if it was broken from the other day or just now. It hurt the guy though, he was screaming as Laxus showed him the guys guild mark on his arm.

"Let me go! I told you I know nothing about some-"

"See I don't believe that."

'Ah! Now I get it.' Bickslow said, still chewing on a kolache.

"Where is she?" Laxus yelled.

"I don't know! I really don't know!"

Laxus got fed up and started to drag the guy behind him.

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere more private to make this guy talk."

Bickslows eyes widened. He drank his coffee.

"Angry Laxus! Angry Laxus!" His babies chanted.

Bickslow shook. "Very angry. Let's be on our best behavior!"

"Best behavior daddy! Best behavior!" They chanted softly following after Laxus and their father.

Bickslow wondered if anyone from her team had noticed this girl's disappearance.

Natsu was dragging some Phantom mage behind him. He traveled what was left of yesterday and today to find Phantoms main HQ. They were somewhere in the mountains. Any time the Phantom mage became mouthy Natsu would set him on fire for a bit. It seemed to get the point across of shut up and don't try anything stupid.

"So where are we going?" Happy said exhausted. He was now flying instead of walking but his wings were getting tired.

"Isn't it obvious? We're going to save Lucy."

The guy was making gurgling noises.

"Alright, pal, where is she? And this time be honest. Tell me!"

"How should I know? Like I told you I don't know a Lucy!"

He was trying to get Natsu to let go but it proved to be pointless. He screamed as Natsu set him on fire again. "This hurts so bad!" He screamed.

"Well then start talking!" Natsu said impatiently.

"I already told you, dude! I don't know nothing! I'm serious! Now put out the fire please!"

"If you Phantom jerks hurt another one of my friends," Natsu's face twisted into more dragon-like features. His eyes sharp and angled. His canines glittered in the sunlight. "I swear I'll burn every one of you into a pile of ashes."

The man screamed in pain. The fire burning his skin. "Man, I told you! I've never heard of this Lucy chick! If I knew who she was, I would have told you by now!"

"Funny you should say that! 'Cause I was thinking I should have burned you into a crisp by now!"

He stopped when he smelled a familiar smell in the wind. Happy blinked when he saw storm clouds come rolling through. They looked like clouds of death. Clouds of familiar death.

The guy Natsu was dragging started to panic.

"What the hell is that!?"

"Laxus?" Natsu asked softly.

The sweet smell of rain was coming, the desert area they were in was too hot for the rain to come down. Evaporating before it could hit the ground. Dark purple colored sparks of electricity were bouncing between the clouds. Larger bolts were coming down to the ground. Thunder was erupting in the distance. It was so loud it hurt Natsu's sensitive hearing.

Natsu wasn't sure what was happening but he assumed it wasn't good. He was kinda relieved that Laxus's anger would not be directed at him.

"I swear if he's going to be flashy-" Natsu muttered.

All of a sudden, a cloud-to-ground flash came out of the side of the thunderstorm cloud that was a ways away from them, traveling in the air away from the storm cloud, it angled down and struck the ground.

"What the heck is that?" The guy said looking at the streak coming their way.

"I could be wrong. But it's called a "bolt from the blue". It happens when a dry lightning storm happens in the clear blue sky."

Happy and the guy looked at Natsu.

"What? I pay attention to Levy sometimes." He said looking away.

As the bolt struck the ground loudly, Laxus, Bickslow and some other guy who looked like he had several broken limbs appeared. Bickslow and the unnamed man were woozy. It was not pleasant to travel that way.

Laxus glared, when his eyes landed on Natsu he was momentarily stunned. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Saving Lucy." Natsu said. "This guy," he said, pulling him by his arm. "Was helping me find her."

"I told you I have no idea where that broad-"

Natsu set the guy on fire. "He's being somewhat helpful."

Laxus smirked. "What a coincidence." He lifted the guy he had by his broken arm. "Mine is being just as difficult."

Happy looked around from Natsu's leg. "Are you here to help us get back Lucy?"

Laxus looked down. "Yes."

"Aww that's nice. You liiiiiike her." He tongue lolled.

A lightning bolt struck the ground near Happy's tail. Happy held his tail, the fur was singed. "That's mean! I'm telling Lucy."

"Tell her. See if I care." Laxus said, not in the mood for the cats antics. He started dragging the guy he had behind him. Bickslow looked at the exchange. 'This wasn't weird at all!'

"Look I don't know where this Lucy is! But if I had to guess she's at headquarter's. In the dungeon! It's right up there." Laxus nodded. He threw the guy a ways away. The guy landed with a hard thud on the ground.

The mage Natsu had a hold of wasn't sure if he was happy or relieved that Natsu had him, not Laxus Dreyar. Fred didn't even look like Fred anymore.

"Bickslow. Make sure he doesn't leave. If he's wrong…" he chuckled darkly, "I don't need to explain further." Bickslow nodded. He doubted the guy could even crawl, but just in case, he would watch the poor bastard. He picked him up by the collar of his shirt.

Natsu watched Laxus walk away. "I hope you don't expect me to just let you save Lucy by yourself."

Laxus stopped and turned to glare at the younger mage.

"I wanna come with, I want payback as well."

Laxus took a deep breath. And turned around. Natsu stared at Laxus.

"Are you coming or not!? I'm not waiting for you!" Laxus growled.

Natsu ran to catch up to Laxus. As they all got closer they saw the building. Laxus wondered where Lucy was. 'I'm coming Lucy..I promise.'

(Right when Laxus shows up)

Lucy woke up with a gasp. She looked around wherever she was it was dark. The only light coming through was from a door. She noticed her hands were bound behind her. Her body was sore from being on the cold hard ground. Also her clothes were damp.

'Why are my clothes damp?'

She slowly rocked herself on to her knees, her body was screaming at her.

'Where am I?'

"How did I get here?" She whispered.

"So you're finally awake." A man's voice said. "I was getting worried about you Miss Heartfilia."

Lucy was taken aback. "How do you know my name? And who are you?"

She closed her eyes as more light came into the room. She heard what sounded like metal against metal.

"I am Jose. Phantom Lord's Guild Master."

Lucy tched. "You're with Phantom?"

Suddenly it all came back to her. 'The Element 4 caught me. I was trying to call Laxus- Laxus! Would he get my message? Well it explains why I'm damp.'

"My sincere apologies for having to use such a dirty cell and restraints." Jose said walking further into the cell. "But I'm afraid I had no choice, that is how you treat a prisoner. I ask for your understanding."

"Uh why the hell am I even your prisoner? I'm not understanding anything! You run the guild that attacked my friends and Levy! If you were smart you would let me go!"

She thought about it some more. Laxus couldn't have been too much of a jerk to not at least pass on the information that she was captured if he saw that message. She didn't expect him to leave the mission but hopefully he would see it and tell Mira or something….

"Depending on your attitude, I'm fully willing to treat you as an esteemed guest rather than a prisoner.

"What does that mean?"

She screamed when she felt a bug crawl up her arm, it was a giant spider.

"See? Not a very pleasant room, is it? Behave for me and I'll move you to a suite."

"Why are you doing this to us?"

'This was weird. Why am I a prisoner, how did he know my real name? Why are they attacking us? You don't just offer a prisoner a suite….'

"Who is us? Oh, you mean Fairy Tail?" He had a sinister smile. "It was a means to an end. Just a side diversion!"

"What?"

"Our real objective was to acquire a certain individual. That person just happened to be a member of Fairy Tail, so if we had to destroy the guild while we were at it. So be it."

"A certain individual?" Her heart stopped. No it couldn't be. She thought about what that Sol guy said. Cible.

"My, my, don't play so dumb. I can't believe that you're that naive. Not what I would expect from the daughter of the Heartfilia family."

She gasped. 'No!'

"I'm referring to you, of course. Lady Lucy, daughter of the Heartfilia konzern."

"H-? How did you know that!?"

"It appears you hid your identity well from your guild. Did anyone notice your mysterious lack of identity?"

She thought about Laxus. He had noticed.

"Though I have no idea why the daughter of one of the greatest tycoons in the land would stoop to such cheap and dangerous work like maging."

"You know nothing about me! And if you did you would know why I left and that I didn't care for that world!" She spat. She glared up at the man. "Are you saying you've taken me hostage? I assure you my father won't pay."

"Oh, no. Nothing of the sort. He in fact hired us to bring you here. The cell was my idea. I didn't think you would cooperate. But I'll give you the chance."

Lucy was panicking. 'I can't go back to my dad. What am I going to do!?' She was crying. She felt frustrated and weak. That's when she heard it.

Thunder.

"No that's absurd!" She cried. As she did she heard a larger boom.

Thunder again.

She looked out the window. Jose turned around. "That's quite a storm we're going to have. You know if you just would agree. I could make you an esteemed guest and set you up with better accommodations. You know this room isn't the greatest during storms. Lucy didn't hear him.

"Why would he?" She asked, to no one in particular thinking about her dad.

Jose found that odd. He didn't have kids himself but he knew they were generally protective of them. "Any normal parent would go looking for their adorable daughter if she ran away from home."

Lucy felt calm seeing the lightning bouncing around in the clouds. It was reassuring her. She didn't know why. She liked thunder storms but they weren't considered comforting. This time though she felt calm, reassured.

As Jose told her what was going on. She laughed bitterly. "Not him. He doesn't care like a normal parent!" She thought about how he only cared about her virginity and pureness when she was attacked. Not the attack itself.

"I'm surprised he knows I'm gone. I-I absolutely refuse to go back!" She spat. "I'm never going back to that house!"

"Oh, my. What a problematic girl you are."

"You better let me go!" She said as she heard the thunder get closer. The lightning was becoming more vibrant. 'It has to be-'

"I'm afraid I can't do that."

The Thunder got louder. The lightning was getting closer. And yet she was calm. It felt reassuring. It was weird to describe but even though she didn't know for sure. She knew deep down it was Laxus.

Lucy sat there staring at the lightning coming down to the ground. 'Laxus please-please let that be you.' She thought.

"Our Head Quarters are right to there!" Said the captured Phantom mage in Bickslow's hands.

"If I had to guess, I'd say they got her locked up there. Okay?"

"The dungeons are the top of the tower!" The other Phantom mage chimed in.

"You should have just said that in the first place! I would have let you go a long time ago!" Natsu grumped.

"Really? You're too nice. I would still have beaten him more." Laxus said.

"Well I'm not sadistic like you for the most part." Natsu fired back.

"Watch it kid." Laxus smirked, his coat billowing behind him.

The Phantom Lord Head Quarters was a large white building. Shaped like a hexagon with large arcs and towers it was beautiful against the jagged rocky desert scenery.

Laxus, Natsu and Bickslow arrived at the building. The two Phantom mages lied on the ground. "This must be the Phantom Lord's main headquarters." Laxus said looking around. He was sniffing. 'Lucy where are you?'

Back at the cell Lucy was trying to figure out her next move.

"You need to let me go!" She pleaded.

"And why should I do that?"

"Please- I uh need to go to the….. bathroom!" She thought of a lie quickly. Actually going to the bathroom didn't sound like the worse idea. But did she actually have to go? No.

Jose laughed. "Give me a break. You don't think I would fall for the oldest trick in the book, do you?"

Lucy began to squirm. "No. For real. I'm dying here."

"Fine then." Jose said, a bucket appeared in his hands.

Lucy's eyes twitched. 'You've got to be kidding me!' She watched Jose put down the bucket in front of her.

"Go ahead."

"A bucket!?"

Jose laughed. "I'm ready for any old trick you throw my way!"

Lucy panicked momentarily..'I'll have to take this up a notch it seems.'

She sighed, getting up. 'Hopefully I won't have to degrade myself too much…'

"I guess….it will have to work." She drawed out getting up. 'Am I going to have to ruin my underwear to make this work?'

Jose's eyes bulged. "You're going to use it?" He screamed.

"You're not giving me any other choice!" She spat.

Jose groaned. He was disgusted. "I imagined that the daughter of the Heartfilia family had class! Apparently I was wrong." He bristled. Lucy glared at him.

"I have never met such a vulgar young lady!"

Lucy glared more.

"I'll turn away because I'm a gentleman!" He said, swiveling on his feet.

Lucy didn't even feel bad for what she was about to do. 'Jerk!' She thought as she kicked the man in the groin as hard as she could. 'Nothing a good ole Lucy Kick can't fix!'

Jose screamed at the top of his lungs. He wasn't prepared for that. He fell to the ground holding his balls and dick.

Lucy smiled triumphantly. "There's a reason old tricks are still around, you know?"

She turned around, "I mean if Laxus Dreyar can fall for a pitfall trap," she said thinking of Galuna. "Why can't a Wizard Saint fall for that!"

She walked away. She looked over her shoulder winking. "Bye! Take care, 'kay?"

Lucy ran to the window. She saw how far up she was. She had to be about 20 stories up. Minimum. The wind was whistling around her.

"Oops! I forgot to mention," Jose wheezed getting up. "This cell is several stories high."

Jose waddled over to her. "I must admit, you really did a number on me, young lady!"

Lucy took a deep breath. She had to make a split decision or else he would physically stop her from jumping. She was either going to fall to her death or Laxus would miraculously show up and come and catch her. Whatever the outcome was she wouldn't go back to her father's. She wouldn't go back and be forced to marry a man who had no respect for her. She looked down. She knew she could die but the alternative was worse.

"But you're not going to get away with it. Your father said to bring you back alive not that I had to make sure you weren't harmed. I will punish you. I'll show you just how terrifying Phantom Lord can be."

Time was ticking. She heard the thunder one last time.

She took a deep breath. That weird sensation was back. It was reassuring. She couldn't explain it but she just knew it. Laxus was here. She swallowed making her decision.

Jose was in shock as he watched her jump backwards and straight out the window falling...

A familiar scent flew by in the air. Laxus instinctively followed it. The inner dragon in his head was screaming at him. Something was wrong.

His inner dragon was essentially head butting him. It knew something he didn't. What he did get was it was about Lucy. Lucy was in trouble. He had a deep forboding pit in his stomach.

"Laxus!" He heard faintly.

Laxus forgot all about Bickslow and Natsu and took off running. He didn't know how he knew he just knew he needed to go straight ahead and take an adjacent left.

That's when he saw her, she was falling in the air, face first. His heart stopped. He didn't think, he just leapt turning himself into lightning.

'Protect.'

Natsu came running and saw Jose throw a power ball of dark purple light at them. On instinct Natsu threw a fireball at the spell. The forces of their two magics canceling each other out.

Bickslow looked on at his boss, he grabbed Lucy in midair. 'Well ain't this some bull shit.'

To Lucy, he appeared out of nowhere. She opened her eyes when she felt a flash of heat against her skin. Bright light surrounded her. In seconds she felt a strong pair of arms surround her. The force of his body colliding with hers changed where she was going to originally land. She felt the heat of Natsu's magic before she heard the sound of it crashing around her with a much darker magic that felt like death. Laxus wrapped his body around hers as they fell to the ground harshly protecting her.

They collided with some brick wall. Laxus hissed as pain radiated throughout his body. His knee that liked to slide out of its socket was going to be fucked. His whole body was fucked from that earlier battle. Natsu ran to where they landed, forgetting about the two Phantom Lord mages they acquired earlier.

"Whoa it's raining Lucy's!" Happy said.

Bickslow looked up at the sky. "If any other hot babes wanna fall out of the sky, you know now's the time to do it." He said.

Happy looked at Bickslow. "Why are you so...weird?"

"Shut up cat!" Bickslow said annoyed walking over to everybody.

When the dust cleared, Lucy sighed on top of Laxus looking at him adoringly. Laxus looked fairly annoyed. Lucy's boobs were in his face. 'When I fantasized about Blondie's tits in my mouth, I never meant like this.'

"You idiot!" He mumbled through a mouth full of boob and cloth.

The inner dragon was happily making noises. Laxus was about to say something when Lucy distracted him.

"You came." She whispered. She buried her face in an odd angle near Laxus's ear. "You came for me. I knew you would." She said softly.

Laxus sat up, he held her tightly against himself. The inner dragon was calming down. "You are the biggest idiot I know. What if I hadn't been here in time."

She pulled back, her hands still tied behind her, she smiled. "I would have died. But I knew that wouldn't happen. I knew you were coming. I heard your lighting and thunder in the distance. It made me feel safe."

Laxus and Lucy stared deeply into each other's eyes. Their chests felt heavy. Laxus was going to say something when Natsu, Bickslow, and Happy came running over.

"Lucy! Get off of Laxus! He probably doesn't appreciate your boobs in his face."

Bickslow shook his head. "You don't know much about Laxus do you?" He said, eyeing the younger mage. He looked back to see his boss soul and this Lucy's, well he assumed it was Lucy, soul intertwining.

Lucy's for the most part had white, a little various shades of green, blacks, and blues. But a big wall of red orange with hints of dingy yellow was blocking out Laxus's soul. But there were mixes of yellow and reds and aqua wrapping itself around Laxus's. His boss was doing the same thing with hers. What Bickslow thought was interesting was that the yellow tentacles were wrapping around the black and deep purple parts of Laxus's soul. While dark red tendrils from Laxus's soul were wrapping around the deepest shades of purple in her soul. Bickslow shook his head, that was some shit. There was more he could dissect but damn that was intense already.

Natsu looked puzzled, but helped Lucy up. Laxus instantly missed her weight in his lap. He shook his head, dumb. And just dumb. He wanted to hold her. Dumb.

Natsu helped untie Lucy's restraints. "There you go. Probably feels better."

Lucy looked at the ground.

"Are you ok?"

Lucy rubbed her wrists. She looked at the red lines that were burning angerily in her skin. She looked sad. Natsu was concerned about her. "Yeah I think so."

Bickslow decided to butt in. "So you're the girl who is causing all the problems?"

Lucy looked scared of Bickslow. He looked strange. The knights helmet, and tight clothing. The floating totems in the air that were giggling.

"I guess?" She said quietly, feeling guilty. She was the cause of all their problems. Again her soul became various dark shades of purple and blues Bickslow noted.

"That's a relief." Happy said.

Laxus stood away from Lucy. Arms folded.

"We should head back to the guild." Happy said.

"What!? This is their headquarters! In which case-" Natsu argued.

Bickslow nodded. "Gotta agree with the kid. Why don't we have a little fun at this point."

"Fun! Fun! Fun!" His babies echoed laughing.

"Even Bickslow agrees with me!"

"And I hate it too!" Bickslow chimed.

Natsu ignored him, staring at Happy.

Laxus stared at Lucy. She fell to her knees. He went to her side. She was crying. "Hey, hey-"

"Laxus!" She cried. Laxus put his arms around her. He didn't know why he was being this protective. Was that what he was feeling? He wanted to calm her down. His inner dragon was telling him to do so. But also so was every fiber of his being practically. 'What is going on here?' He thought.

"That's their Headquarters! Why not-"

"Erza said we need to retreat!" Happy argued.

"Question. Why did she say to retreat?" Bickslow asked, arms folded.

"Cause she's a wimp!" Natsu fired back. He looked at Bickslow and then back at Happy. "I'm not scared of these guys one bit!" He said leaning into Happy.

"Didn't say you were, kid." Bickslow said unimpressed. 'Kids.' He thought.

Laxus was ignoring them until Happy had his full attention: "But you saw what they did to the Master!"

Bickslow looked alarmed, he eyed Laxus wairily. 'This won't be good.' His soul bursted in red, black, gray and yellow. While flecks of dark green sparked here and there. 'This isn't looking good.'

While he knew his best friend didn't respect his grandfather, he knew he still loved him. It was a complicated relationship.

Laxus stiffened. "What about my grandfather?" He asked in a deadly tone.

"The Master, he was severely injured." Happy said.

Lucy froze, she buried her face into Laxus's shirt. 'It's all my fault.'

Laxus looked down at Blondie. She was crying into his shirt. He panicked. He did not handle crying women well. At. All.

"We gotta get revenge for him!" Natsu screamed.

"You're not strong enough to fight Master Jose and an entire guild by yourself!"

"Wh-? What did you say?"

"You can't do it!"

"Oh! I heard you! Don't repeat it!"

"Everyone's hurt you know!"

Bickslow eyed his boss. He could see his souls' irritation. But it was also wrapping itself protectively around Lucy's. Aqua wrapping around the purple. Her souls' walls were coming down just enough to let his comfort hers.

"I'm not!" Natsu screamed.

"Boss, what do you want to do?" Bickslow asked. He stared at the two mages intently.

Laxus looked down at Lucy, who was crying. She was probably getting snot and tears all over his shirt. A distant part of his brain thought it was gross. His inner dragon was distressed over not being able to calm her down. He buried his face into her hair, her scent calming him down so he could think. He was angry. Phantom would have to pay somehow. The only person who got to fuck with his grandfather was him. Not to mention they ruined Fairy Tail's reputation, made them look like cowardly dogs. And now they apparently lost in a battle his grandfather was supposed to lead. Useless idiots.

"Nab broke some bones!"

"Well he's weak!"

Laxus snorted in amusement shaking his head. 'Thats funny.'

"And Macao-"

"That argument is inconvenient for me! He's over the hill. Get that one out of your head!" Natsu fired back.

Bickslow laughed hysterically. Lucy speaking up stopped him.

"I'm sorry." She cried.

"I'm so sorry."

Happy and Natsu stopped. They looked at her. Lucy was grabbing Laxus's shirt. She cried thinking about the guild hall. It was destroyed because of her. Nab had broken bones because it was a distraction to make her kidnapping easier. Macao was hurt for the same reason. Levy, Jet, and Droy all were in a hospital because her dad had bought a guild to do whatever was necessary to bring her back. Makarov was injured now, he hadn't cared who she was, he accepted her with open arms. Laxus probably left a town of 6 million people to come and save her. What would happen to them?

And why? Probably to marry her off to the same guy who tried to rape her. She screamed.

Laxus felt taken aback.

"All of this! Everything! Is all my fault!"

Laxus patted her back awkwardly.

"I'm not sure how this is your fault Blondie."

Bickslow rolled his eyes. "Did you pay Phantom to do all of this."

At this Lucy cried harder. Laxus glared at his friend. "What?" Bickslow said.

"Laxus I don't want to leave! I wanna be here in the guild. With Natsu and you!" She cried.

Laxus was trying to figure out if he should be angry or not. "Blondie what are you talking about?"

"I love Fairy Tail!"

Laxus was still confused.

"Hey! Why are you crying Lucy?" Natsu asked. "What's going on? What are you talking about? No one is kicking you out of the guild."

Happy flew to Lucy to hold her. "You can tell us why you're upset."

"My- mmm-my dad!" She cried hysterically.

"You have a dad?" Natsu asked.

Bickslow looked at him like he was nuts. "Everyone has a dad." He muttered. "Has no one given you the whole birds and the bees talk?"

"What do birds and bees gotta do with this?" Natsu asked puzzled. "You know what. That doesn't matter, my best friend is crying!"

Lucy cried into Laxus. Laxus looked at Lucy. "What does your dad have to do with this Blondie?" He asked.

"He wants me back." She whispered.

Laxus's blood froze. He stared at the ground. Natsu didn't hear what she said.

"You're one of us, you don't have to leave." Natsu assured. "What's the deal?"

"Come on. Let's go back to the guild." Happy said.

Natsu scratched the back of his head. "Y-yeah...Okay. I guess we ought to." Natsu walked over to Lucy.

"Time to get up, Lucy."

Lucy cried more.

Laxus got up carrying Lucy. "I'll carry her back to the guild." Lucy cried holding on to Laxus.

"Don't be so rough with her!" Happy chastised. "Girls are delicate!"

"I know that stupid cat!" Laxus muttered.

Lucy cried more.

"Look at what you did Laxus!" Happy argued.

"Can it cat! Lucy please stop crying. I don't handle crying well. You're also getting snot all over my shirt."

"This shirt is already so ugly and I'm making it worse!" She cried. Laxus had a tick mark form on his head.

"Are you sure?" Natsu asked.

"Yes I'm sure." He said, walking away. "When we get back. We have a lot of things to talk about." He said bending his head down taking in her scent.

Lucy nodded against him, wrapping her arms around him.

In the tower, Master Jose was on the ground holding his manhood. That kick hurt. He was moaning. Purple smoke erupted from around him, he was annoyed his attack failed and his royal jewels were in pain. He looked demonic. "Now you've gone and done it, girl! Your fate has been sealed!" He screamed.

SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: I'm answering your review at the bottom because, spoilers clearly. I had 6k of this written when I posted the last chapter and you made me honestly think about trashing it. I had already planned out for Laxus to leave Evergreen and Freed behind and how I wanted them to handle the mission. But you made me double think. I hope this chapter wasn't too bad. As for the second half of your review, it meant a lot. I kept that in mind when this guest reviewer struck again. Thank you again. It helped a lot. As for the strength I have to agree. But hey some people think Natsu is stronger. You'll have to let me know me how the action scenes went.

StarlessKnights: Yes! Smile big! I hope you get this was for this chapter! The way I have written Laxus...oh boy! Gajeel run! His team...Freed...and tired Seith mages! What did you think? The Loke arc is coming. It will be a thing that Laxus will get through...as a victim, I'm a staunch believer in you don't out a victim. The ones that truly know are Cancer and Aquarius and soon Laxus will know in depth. Virgo doesn't even know. I plan on her finding out though. Lucy will tell them both. I plan on having Virgo have an idea though. Loke will be more protective. I'll explain when the arc happens. Your other parts will be answered in due chapters. I like your predictions. What do you think will happen next? I'll try and keep things interesting for you by the ay your second review had me dying I was working out and it made me laugh so hard, my ab workout was done from that alone...That's a lot of bass...giggle.

Let me know what you think! I'm nervous for my Laxus Monster fight scenes. Let me know and see you soon!
