Grand Toby

Toby is currently working with Henrietta with the passengers on Thomas' branch line. "Must keep going," Toby said to Henrietta. "I know," replied Henrietta, "But I'm so full that I could barely move." "Exactly," smiled Toby. At the Sodor Tramways at Great Waterton, Flora, another steam tram engine is busy as well.

"Time to get going," Flora said as soon as her passengers boarded her double decker coach. She then set off. After the day's work was over, Toby returned to his home, while Flora went to her home.

The next morning, the Fat Controller called for the two tram engines to meet him. "Today," said the Fat Controller, "We will have a railway enthusiast group visiting the railway. I want you two to show them Great Waterton when the time comes." "Yes, sir," answered Toby and Flora together. "Good," the Fat Controller concluded before leaving.

"Well," said Toby, "Will you be ready?" "Of course," answered Flora. The enthusiast first traveled in Stanley's passenger train. And later, they traveled in Gordon's express. Next, Charlie and Billy, with help from Arthur gave them tours, too. Both Charlie and Billy surprisingly behaved very well.

At the same time, Toby and Flora were both taking regular passengers around Great Waterton. But Flora was worried. "Enthusiast?" she thought, "I don't know." Flora was so distracted by her thoughts that she nearly ran into Emily.

"Whoa!" Emily cried out, "Watch where you're going!" "Sorry," said Flora, embarrassed, "I was thinking about special visitors." "What about them?" asked Emily.

"I just don't know about special visitors like railway enthusiast," explained Flora, "I've never taken people like them before." "Oh," Emily replied, "Don't worry, Flora, I'm sure you'll do all right with them." Emily left, but Flora continued to worry. "I don't know," she said.

When the time came for the enthusiast to arrive, Toby was ready, but Flora still felt worried. "Can I really do this?" Flora asked Toby. "Sure," answered Toby, "You can. But I should go first." "Ok," sighed Flora.

So Toby set off with the railway enthusiast. Then trouble happened by the time for the enthusiast to visit the main attraction of Great Waterton.

A large rock fell towards Henrietta. The enthusiast gasped. "Toby!" Flora shouted, watch out! Toby pushed Henrietta out of the way, but he ended up taking the hit. The large rock had bent his side plate. "Oh!" cried Toby.

Flora was shocked. "Toby, are you all right?" asked Flora, worryingly. "I'm fine, Flora," replied Toby, "But I can't go on with a damaged side plate." Flora was worried. "Ok, Flora," said Toby, "You must be the one to take all of the passengers."

"Really?" replied Flora, "I don't know." "Flora, you're the only engine available now," Toby said, "You must do it. You must!" Flora thought about it for a second. "All right," she said, "I will do it!"

"Good," smiled Toby, "Now go on. They need you right away." "Right," replied Flora. So she took the railway enthusiast and finished their tour of Great Waterton.

When the tour was over, Gordon took the enthusiast to another part as their last trip. Then they'll return home.

At the end of the day, Flora decided to visit Toby at the repair yards. "Thanks, Flora," said Toby. "No, thank you," said Flora, "You really are grand, Toby." "Aw, thanks," smiled Toby. "I was nervous about taking those people at first, but then you've encouraged me to do so," said Flora. "Yep," replied Toby, "We should work together some more. Then neither of us will get nervous."

"Right," agreed Flora. And the two friends smiled together.
