Hello hello, dear readers. I've come before the story to give so information about what it is. So to start, most of the characters, around 95% of them, are OCs(if you don't know, it stands for Original Character)that I made and used during some pokemon roleplays a few years ago. Also, not all of them are mine, some are other people's that played a major role in my plots.

The story itself is basically the same as back then, and by that I'm referring to the character's personalities, background stories and some future events, though I did some alterations to make them better and more centered around my OCs.

With everything explained, enjoy the story and the best ever villain I've ever done in my life.

Chapter 1

[ Sukar Arper ]

The constant poundings are strong, may be even enough to destroy a normal wall. However, this isn't a normal wall; it's made purely of reinforced steel of the highest quality known to man, standing firm against the heavy impacts delivered to it.

The hundreds of soldiers position themselves in front of the only gate on the steel wall, tightly holding onto their swords and having their hearts filled with fear, internally asking the same question: who are they gonna fight?

Well, who, or what, it is doesn't matter, they wouldn't get past them so easily, seeing as each of the soldiers are clad in thick, shining silver armors. Hardly any kind of weapon could penetrate this sturdy carapace.

And yet, they were afraid, unmeasurably afraid. Even the squadron's captain, a knight with a lighter armor and wielding two swords instead of one and a shield, was shaking inside.

"Stand firm, men! The gate's giving in." His voice feigned bravery, but the hesitation was still very notable.

Then, without previous warnings, the gate was torn from the wall and lifted in the air, where it got smashed and transformed into a cube of steel by a powerful psychic powers.

On the other side of the wall, contrary to what each of the soldiers expected, wasn't a massive army nor a giant beast. No, it was just three lonely figures standing side by side, what caused the tension in the air to disappear.

The first figure is a young man with green hair, wearing some kind of green indigenous tunic with long, feathery sleeves looking like wings. He also wore various accessories, like a teeth collar and a red omamori hanging from his hair between his crimson eyes.

The second one isn't a human, but a tall, slender anthropomorphic grey-scaled lizard with a long neck and a smiley maw full of tiny but pointy teeth. His head was protected by a golden helm being held by his two large horns pointing upward, while he also had golden pieces of armor on his arms arms and legs, but with nothing nowhere else, not even clothes.

However, the third one, being clearly the leader and strongest of the trio, is a giant humanoid serpent, with torso and arms presenting sharp claws. His scales are of a light blue, just like the open skies, his eyes red as fresh blood recently leaked from a wound, and his two fangs long and sharp like knives. He had a posture that screamed superiority, with stuffed chest and a hand behind his back. The nagi wore a royal-looking white coat, worthy of a king much like his golden staff.

"My, oh my... What a heartwarming welcome party we have here." Even the nagi's voice was full of vanity and arrogance. For someone in a huge number disadvantage, he smiled confidently while subtly hissing.

Without waiting any longer, the army's captain screamed "Men, attack!" and let all of them run fearlessly towards the three, unknowing it to be their biggest mistake.

Not moving an inch from there, the nagi bulges his big red eyes out in a way that each and every soldier could see them. In a matter of seconds all of them stopped, frozen in place. Their eyes... completely white and devoid of emotions or conscience.

It is then that they all fall to their knees in synchrony, sticking their swords to the ground, lowering their heads and screaming from the depths of their vocal cords: "All hail the great emperor Sukar!"

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

Name: Sukar Arper

Gender: Male

Species: Nagi

Main weapon: Hypnosis

Faction: The Arper Empire

The invasion was now complete; the entire army of the populous city of Spring is now nothing but pawns to serve and obey the invaders, helping them take over the place. The emperor's new army raided each house, apprehended each citizen, be them man or woman, child or elderly, and grouped everybody at the center of the city like cattle.

The exits were all blocked off, and the cattle turned to the big statue of a naga, where Sukar and his lackeys are. Both the lizard and human sat at the statue's foundation just before their emperor began his speech.

"I came to the Bloom continent for two different reasons; to begin my world domination and, more importantly, revenge." He slowly slithered all around the monument, making sure everybody is paying attention to him and only him. "That said, I order you to bring me the man called Elliot Devon Fonners!"

For a whole minute he waited, and waited, and waited. However, nobody gave him a response other than the cold, cruel silence, but not as cruel as Sukar himself.

Frustrated, he sighed. "I see... If this is your choice, there's only one option left." Once again he bulges his eyes out, making visual contact with all of the defenseless hostages. "Now, bring me the one I look for!"

With the free will stolen from them, one of the hostage groups stands up, obeying their new emperor's command and walking down a specific street. Then, a few moments later, they return carrying a very obese man of blond hair and what one would say a white suit, now so dirty and tight.

He is terrified, shaking uncontrollably. Sukar slithers to him, stopping right in front of him and opening his neck's snake hood as a way to seem intimidating, what worked wonders on the overweight man.

"Hello, Fonners." Different from before, when he spoke using a prideful voice, he now used a deadly cold serious tonality.

"F-forgive me but... do I know you?" He stuttered nonstop, too afraid to even look him eye to eye, knowing well of his hypnotic abilities.

"Look at you. Kneeling and scared, but this time because of me." Not caring about his wellbeing, the villain wrapped his tail around the man's neck and abruptly lifted him in the air, forcing him to look directly into his eyes. "Yes, you know me. I could even say you know the insides of my head."

His eyes activate the hypnotic effect, taking every corner of this man's pathetically weak mind. Now, his will to resist quickly disappears and his worst fears flood his head to the brim.

While having fun seeing the man he hated oh so much trembling with his deepest traumas and nightmares, Sukar could only think about the reason to have so much hate towards him, the source of his restless anger.

Flashback

Eighteen years ago.

The thick steel doors open by themselves once their movement sensors detects two figures approaching, allowing both of them into a gigantic white tunnel full of lateral doors on both sides.

People of many different species, human and non-human, walked all over the place, everybody wearing typical white lab coats and holding something, be it a clipboard, vials or others. On the transparent roof they could see the bottom of the sea, with dozens of fishes swimming around in small or big schools.

But it wasn't any of these things that interested them. Or, at least, not the the adult. The young sky-blue nagi wouldn't stop looking around, finding the amount of people impressing and being enamoured with the ocean view.

The adult, whose scales are crimson as blood and had a white coat, held his son's right arm firmly while following the tunnel's path to the very end. There they encounter a steel door different from the ones before; bigger, thicker.

On the other side of it was a rather small lab, completely dark and very cold. The negative temperature made the young Sukar let go of his father and brace himself, shaking tremendously while his father didn't seem bothered in the slightest.

The young one was about to slither to the corner, when his name was called. "Sukar" He went back to his father's side, having no idea of what's going to happen. The red nagi then called for the scientist on the other side, the owner of the lab.

This person came closer, holding a tablet in his hands. It's 'him', the one and only Elliot Devon Fonners, a skinny blond man, wearing a clean white lab coat, a pair of black gloves and a big digital screen over his face from up his mouth and nose. That screen displayed two blue dots representing his eyes.

"Sukar, accompany mister Fonners to the table." The father order him, emotionless as always, but Sukar still obeyed and follow the human to a large rectangular metal table at the center of the lab.

Elliot put his arms under his and helped him get on it, then laying him over. "Master Sukar, I'll be performing some experiments on you and I need you to stay completely still." The scientist said, tying his arms, tail and neck with some belts.

"Like playing statue?" He innocently asked.

"That's right, like playing statue..." Once finished, Elliot pulled an auxiliary table closer to the rectangular one. This auxiliary table had multiple medical equipments available, like scalpels, defibrillators and disposable gloves. After switching his black gloves for the disposable ones, Elliot picked a scalpel and came to the table's end where Sukar's head was. "This will hurt for just a little..." So it began, slicing his head's scales.

[•••]

He didn't know how much time has passed since then, nor could he remember what happened to him. The last thing he remembers is laying on the metal table, and that's it.

The young Sukar just woke up alone in that same lab. Elliot wasn't there, nor his father. The last few moments are just a blur in his mind, a blank page.

He tried to remember, tried so hard. But everytime he came close to it, he felt an agonizing headache like he never felt. The only thing he could remember is feeling desperate, panting and urging to hold his screams while long streams of tears ran through his face.

This pain... He couldn't take it, it's too much for such a young child...

It felt like millions of tiny needles poked at his brain all at once and he couldn't do anything to make it stop. He could only hold his head and growl in terrible pain.

Actually, there is more. He could feel new desires. Vile desires, cruel ones. There's no typical childish thoughts, no games, no drawings or friends, just cruelty, greed, wrath.

"W-what... What did THEY DO TO ME?!" Screamed, incapable of containing his angst and agony. The snake quickly got up and tried to slither to the door, bumping into other tables and chairs along the way, knocking everything down.

His vision was too distorted, unable to even see what was in front of him. Still, he somehow managed to get to the door, then tried his best to press the buttons on the side to open it. However, he couldn't hit this specific small button, hidden in the lab's natural dark ambiance.

Despaired, Sukar hit his head on the door repeatedly. He'd accept anything to make this insufferable headache go away, but not even hitting his head seemed to distract him. Everything seemed useless now.

However, when he least expected it, Sukar heard a voice, pure, innocent, younger than him. "Hello? Is someone there?" Hearing this voice, all the agony he previously felt just vanished suddenly, finally allowing the blue nagi to calm down.

By turning around he saw, inside one of the large glass capsules, someone in there. These capsules are big enough to contain an adult human being, but they all are completely filled with a strange dark blue substance. Inside one of them was a small object that looked like a dragon fetus, small and coiled up.

But the unexpected part is that the fetus had it's eyes open, staring at Sukar while he approached it slowly. None of them say anything for a few seconds, just staring at each other attentionally.

"Who are you...?" Again, that innocent voice. It didn't come from the fetus, it came as an echo inside the nagi's head. Whoever this is, they had a strong enough psychic capacity to use telepathy. "You look like my daddy..."

"... What?" He asked immediately, curious. Was this creature talking about Sukar's father? Did it know him?

"You're like him. Are you... my brother?" Poor thing, must be so confused right now. Sukar could help but feel pity and empathy for this little creature. "Are you gonna... hurt me too?"

... What? He thought. His father hurt this poor, inoffensive, adorable thing? Why? He didn't do anything to deserve it.

The creature was now waiting for a response while staring at him with it's big eyes. "Yes, I'm your brother, but I won't hurt you..." Slowly he placed one of his hands on the glass. The little one looked at it, then rested his head against it through the glass. "Daddy has harmed both of us...He doesn't love us, doesn't protect us..."

The creature seemed sad hearing this, shown by it's eyes looking down. It closed it's eyes ready to cry, when Sukar pressed a button on the capsule's side, opening it. The nameless creature got out inside all that strange substance, which is actually something kind of gelatinous goo. Soon this goo, or plasma, mimicked the inside creature's form, additionally with two long tentacles waving from it's back. The plasma and creature floated in the air steadily, thanks to their strong telekinesis.

"What is your name?" The little dragon asked, coming closer to his face.

"Sukar... Just Sukar." All the pain his father caused... He didn't react, nor complained about what Fonners did to him. He had only one wish now, clear as crystal, hard as diamond; vengeance. And for that, he abandoned his family name, resigned his blood. But for now, vengeance could wait, as Sukar had a more urgent matter. "What is yours?"

"Daddy never gave me a name... Maybe you could give me one?" It's expression changed, now seemingly happy, welcomed.

The young nagi though for some time, thinking about what would be the perfect name for his new younger brother. That's when it came to him; "Chik. You'll be Chik." Silently, he waited for some reaction. Apparently it liked the name, as the dragon began drifting around him. "I'll be your older brother... I'll protect you, care for you... And I'll take you away from here, where they only want to hurt us." They gently hugged each other, comforting each other with their body heat.

He's now satisfied, after exercising part of his revenge. The man's agony already made him happy for now, so the great and unbeatable emperor threw the obese man away, still letting his hypnotic effects active.

Two of his closest soldiers go to him, lifting him and taking him to the rest of the cattle, where's his proper place.

"Hmph." The emperor snorted. He began looking around, analysing the city's buildings and searching for someplace minimally worthy of being his lair. That's when he say, distant into the city, a large castle. It wasn't anything made to royalty, but certainly would do for the time being. "There. My subordinates, take the hostages to the castle and put them in cells. Capture anybody not hypnotized you find."

All soldiers stomp their feet in contingency before proceeding with their orders. Soon only the three invading figures were left near the statue; Sukar, the indigenous man and the lizard.

The one protected with golden pieces of armor gets up, rising his arms to stretch out. "You wrecked with the city's army! But of course, the great emperor Sugar didn't really need our help!" The lizard playfully joked with his boss's name, being completely relaxed and happy as always.

The serpent turns to him, pointing his staff to his face. "What did I tell you, Sudjine. It's 'Sukar', not 'Sugar'!" Then he lowers it, returning to his noble posture. "Anyhow, do me a favor and bring my family here, understood?"

"At your command, emperor Sugar!" He laughed when running back to the gate they broke to enter the city, leaving Sukar to mumble to himself.

The green haired man let out a short laugh. "That Sudjine is something else..." After getting up, he put his hands behind his back and looked at the snake. "How may I be of help, Your Majesty?"

"Xanatu, I want you to follow the soldiers. I'll go in a bit."

"Your wish is my command." He bows down, then followed the hypnotized soldiers on their way to the castle, while running a bit to catch up to them.

Now, the entire city of Spring belonged to Sukar and his hypnotized puppets. He has nothing to fear, as nobody could fight him and hope to win. Each day his army would grow, and his elite, Sudjine and Xanath, are very capable of fighting by themselves and protect him. Still, Sukar isn't a defenseless ruler, he's also a skilled swordsman and user of magic, with various surprises to overpower any that challenge him.

Everybody knew that. After all, he's an Arper, a member of the family of the worst villains the world has ever known. Just the mention of this name is enough to spread fear through the masses, be them the bravest of heros, the strongest of warriors, or just the four silhouettes spying on him from an alley at this moment.

Four who remained hidden in the shadows while watching his every action through the entire invasion. Since the emperor is alone right now they could go for the kill, however the risks are too big, and they recognize that.

"What's the plan?" One of them asks, a humanoid bee.

"We have to hide. It should be safe in the in the hideout." Another one responds, some kind of wood person with a flaming yellow mane and a black mask covering their face. "Noir, you go first."

"Understood." Responded the third, this being an anthropomorphic black cat wearing dark clothes similar to a ninja's. Noir, as he was called, walked further into the alley, being cautious to check at every corner for any hypnotized soldier before proceeding.

The rest of the group followed him with a few meters of distance just for safety. Eventually they would be in their headquarters, where Sukar and his men wouldn't find them, and that's all that mattered now.

Soon they left the alleys, reaching a deserted open street near said headquarters. One at a time they crossed to the other side, starting with Noir, then the wood golem, and thirdly the bee woman.

But before the last one could cross, the ground suddenly shaked, making the bee lose her footing midway through. The fourth one, a woman with green jacket and blond hair, screamed to her: "It's below you!", but I was too late. Huge rotten vines came through the asphalt like it's nothing and wrapping around the bee's legs, quickly going up to immobilize her completely.

After that, a similarly huge monster in the shape of a withered dark flower emerged from right below her. It's large red petals open to reveal a monstrous maw with uncountable little teeth along it and the petals, while lowering the vine holding the insect into it. On the flower's exterior is a vertical large yellow eye, looking at her desperate struggles to escape.

"Look what we have here... A couple of vermin slithering through the shadows!" The giant monster screamed, bearing a terrifying, distorted voice and having a big chance of making their position known to Sukar.

"What are you doing here, Avarice? Serving Sukar, too?" She asked, trying to stay away from the monster's long and thin red tongue coated in acid saliva.

"Oh, my dear Liz... You know me very well, you know I don't serve anyone out of good will, and I'm not hypnotized, am I?" The beast watched as the remaining three tried to surround it from all sides, wielding their swords against Avarice. "Lower your toys. I'm not here to fight, as much as it sounds fun."

They were reluctant, seeing as a cruel monster like this Avarice wouldn't hesitate to strike if feeling slightly threatened, just like an animal instinct of survival, even though it is a monstrous flower. However, they obey it's command, otherwise it could easily bite and kill Liz in less than a second.

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION.

Name: Avarice

Gender: Genderless(Identify as male)

Species: Titan

Main weapon: Thorned vines

Faction: Titan Order

"Fine... Just don't do anything to her." All three dropped their weapons to the ground, leaving their arms visible to Avarice. They could feel it was grinning, being in full control of the situation. "What do you want here?"

"Me? Nothing, just bothering you." It swings Liz around inside it's petal maw, threatening to close it or dropping her. "But since you're offering a bribe, I'll accept a piece of information: how will you defeat the hypnotic noodle?"

It received no answer, only a long silence and thoughtful looks. Even if they won't admit, Avarice was right. Sukar can very easily create an army around the continent, a small group of rebels with less than ten members could never even scratch the surface of the villain's empire. What chance did they have?

Having recognized their lack of preparation, the titanic flower monster just laughed and, after freeing it's hostage, it submerged once again, leaving doubt in the air to torment them.

But it's not the time for this, first they needed a safe place, and so the group continued on their way to a new alley. This one, however, was a dead end, having only trash cans, a wall and some graffiti on it. Oh, but there's another thing, a manhole, hidden among the trans cans. Hastily the cat forced it open using a kunai and jumped in, followed by his companions, with the last one closing it once again.
