Fairy Tail—The Master and the Dragon

Chapter 19

"Are you sure?" Gracie asked.

"For the last goddamn time, yes I'm sure that I can walk!" Nikolias shouted, which was immediately followed by bloody coughs.

"You need to calm down, Niky. Every time you yell you cough up more blood."

"Then stop pissing me off."

"I'm just concerned, Niky."

"And I appreciate it, but again, I've experienced worse."

The sun was out and shining as Gracie and Nikolias continued their journey back to Magnolia. They had only stopped once last night to sleep for a little while, but Gracie was determined to keep moving forward so that Nikolias could receive some medical attention. She had managed to fashion a makeshift bandage out of the remains of his shirt to cover the wound and help with the bleeding, but she knew he needed proper treatment.

It was roughly midday, so they had been walking for ten straight hours. They had only recently crossed the border into Magnolia.

"Just let me carry you the last mile or so," Gracie insisted.

"You're not carrying me," Nikolias growled. "Now drop it."

"Fine," Gracie pouted. "Don't let me help you out. I mean, how crazy must I be to want to help out someone who's severely bleeding from their stomach?"

"The wound is already clotting. It's fine."

Gracie shook her head. "How the hell have you not passed out from blood loss? You've basically been bleeding for 18 hours."

"Red Eye," was all he said.

Gracie's eyes widened. "Oh…right. Sorry."

"Don't apologize. It can't be helped. This is one of the few benefits of the damned thing. While it doesn't make me immortal, I do start to heal quickly. If the wound wasn't so deep, I'd probably be 100% by now. Still, I haven't needed to apply pressure for a while now, so that's a positive."

"Well that's certainly handy."

"The only handy thing."

"Wanna drop it?"

"Obviously."

Gracie giggled. "So are you afraid?"

Nikolias raised an eyebrow. "Of what?"

"Of how Mira will react to your injury."

His eyes widened. "Now I am. Thanks for that." Gracie laughed. "It's really not funny, Gracie."

She wiped away a tear. "Sorry, your right," she said as she fought back the laughter.

"Then why are you laughing?"

"Because it's cute to see how worried you are about making her worried."

Nikolias looked ahead. "Shut up." However, there was no mistaking the light blush of embarrassment that stained his cheeks.

"Where the hell are they?" Gray asked. "Shouldn't they have been back by now?"

"Yeah," Lucy said with a nod. "I thought they would get back last night. What's keeping them?"

"Maybe their chasing down anyone who got away!" Natsu exclaimed.

Lucy sweat-dropped. "That's rather morbid."

"I'm sure they'll return shortly," Makarov said from his seat on the bar counter.

Mira was washing dishes behind the talking group. "I knew that I shouldn't have let them go. Something bad happened, I just know it."

"Calm down, Mira," Gray soothed. "This is Gracie and Nikolias we're talking about. I'm sure they're completely fine."

Mira sighed as she put down the plate and washcloth. "You're right. I shouldn't be worried."

"That hasn't stopped you from worrying for the past 20 hours," Cana said with a laugh from her bar stool.

Mira glared at her. "Well as it turns out I had every right to be worried. They were supposed to come back last night after no more than an hour. Why haven't they come back yet?"

"I'm sure they will be back any minute," Makarov assured. "Don't get so worked up."

Cana smirked. "You know Mira, I've never seen you get this anxious before. Is there something that you aren't telling us?"

Mira blushed a deep shade of red. "Nothing at all."

"Oh please, look at how red you are!" Cana laughed.

"Watch it, Cana," Mira threatened.

"So defensive."

"Alright, enough Cana. If Mira doesn't want to talk about it then leave it alone," Erza said as she walked over to the group.

"Thank you, Erza," Mira said with a sweet smile.

Suddenly, the guild doors burst open. Everyone turned to see Romeo running in. He ran up to Wendy and tried to catch his breath. "Wendy!" he said as he panted. "Please come quickly!"

"What is it, Romeo?" Wendy asked as she tilted her head slightly. "What's wrong?"

"Romeo, why are you so out of breath?" Erza called over.

He turned to face her. "I was out training when I saw Gracie and Nikolias walking back."

"That's wonderful news, but why are you so out of breath and why do you need Wendy?" Makarov asked.

"I'm out of breath because I ran here as fast as I could. And I need Wendy because I'm pretty sure Nikolias is wounded," Romeo explained.

"Nikolias is wounded?" Mira asked to clarify that she wasn't just hearing things.

"I'm fairly certain. It was from a distance, but it looked like he was walking a little funny and his shirt was wrapped around his stomach. Also, I'm pretty sure his shirt wasn't that red when he left yesterday."

'I knew it,' Mira thought to herself.

"Alright Romeo, take me to them!" Wendy exclaimed as she jumped from her seat. Romeo nodded and ran out of the guild with Wendy. Everyone else followed shortly after.

"Almost there, Niky!" Gracie exclaimed. "How you holding up?"

"Still fine," Nikolias grumbled. "Hasn't changed in the last 10 seconds."

"You're over exaggerating. It's been longer than 10 seconds since I last asked."

"Doesn't feel like it."

"Well anyway, look! I can see the guild from here!"

"Yeah, I see it too. Hey, is that Romeo?"

Gracie squinted. "Yeah I think so. Looks like he's running back to the guild. Huh, he must have been training out here."

"Probably was."

"You think he saw us?"

"Maybe. I don't know how good his eyes are."

"True." Gracie glanced at Nikolias' wound. "Man, we need to get you a new bandage. That shirt is completely soaked with your blood."

Nikolias looked down at his stomach. "Well I was going to need treatment anyway, right?"

She shook her head. "Honestly, Red Eye or not, you should have passed out by now. Hell, with that much blood loss, you probably should have died."

"Trying to kill me off, huh?"

"Not at all. Just trying to wrap my head around it. Seriously though, how did you not die?"

Nikolias looked at Gracie and smiled. "I still have some things I need to do. I ain't dying just yet."

Gracie giggled. "I bet I know what one of those things is."

"Yeah, I'm sure you do."

"GRACIE! NIKOLIAS!"

The two looked straight ahead to see Romeo and Wendy running towards them followed by everyone else in the guild.

"Hey look! It's the welcome wagon!" Gracie exclaimed excitedly.

"Well shit," Nikolias said with a small laugh. "I was really hoping to get inside before getting bombarded with questions and concerns."

"That's Fairy Tail for ya."

"Yeah, that's Fairy Tail."

Gracie waved her hand in the air. "Hey everyone! Sorry we're late!"

Everyone stopped as soon as they approached the returning duo while Wendy ran straight for Nikolias.

"Nikolias, what happened?" Wendy asked as she began to gingerly remove the shirt-bandage.

Nikolias winced slightly as the soaked fabric was peeled from his exposed flesh. "Don't worry, it's nothing serious. I just got hit a little bit. It's already healing, though."

Wendy pulled away the rest of the shirt and gasped at what she saw. Nikolias' abdomen had a deep and wide gash approximately 3 inches in diameter right where his kidneys were. It was clotting, but blood still ran from the wound and trickled down his abs and onto his pants. "Nikolias, this wound is bad. How have you even been walking?"

"Told you, Niky," Gracie said triumphantly.

"Shut it." He then returned his attention to Wendy. "Because of the Red Eye, I begin healing fast. That's why it's already clotting."

"Okay, but how have you been walking by yourself? The pain alone should have left you motionless," Wendy said as she continued to observe the wound.

"I've dealt with worse. Sure it stung a bit, but it's nothing I can't power through."

Wendy began gently pulling his arm. "Come on, I need to get you to the infirmary so I can heal you up. If you lose anymore blood, you could be in serious trouble."

Nikolias didn't quite agree with her, but nodded his head anyway. "Alright, you're the medic. Lead the way," he said as he allowed Wendy to lead him by the arm.

Everyone watched him leave before turning around to look at Gracie.

Gracie saw their glances and smiled. "Again, sorry we're late."

"Gracie, what the hell happened?" Makarov asked.

Gracie put on a serious face and crossed her arms in front of her chest. "They knew we were coming."

"What?" was the resounding reaction among everyone in the guild.

"How?" Erza asked.

"Niky has the theory that those Bloody Moon goons that got away from him returned to continue spying and saw and/or heard everything about the counterattack. They must have alerted the Master because when we got there, they were prepared with a counter of their own."

"So was the mission a failure?" Makarov asked.

Gracie shrugged. "Depends on how you look at it."

"Care to explain?"

"Sure. In some ways, it was a success. We were able to wipe out a lot of their forces and Niky burned down the guild hall. However, it can also be seen as a failure. When all was said and done, it was discovered that the guild hall actually had an underground level to it. Most likely, all of the important stuff took place underground. It's my belief that the Master and all of the really important guys escaped underground before we even got there."

Makarov scratched his chin. "I see. Plus, Nikolias received a serious injury. I would say that my plan was a failure."

"Not at all, Master," Gracie assured. "Niky is fine, for one. Also, we now know more about the Bloody Moon guild. We definitely gained more than they did."

Makarov crossed his arms. "Perhaps. Well for now, we will be on standby while I figure out where to go from here. We will prepare for their next attack, but pray that it never comes. Missions are still on hiatus." He turned around and headed back to the guild, clearly lost in thought. Everyone followed him back in.

Once back inside the guild hall, Gracie headed towards the infirmary. However, she was stopped by a tug on the back of her shirt. She turned to see a very distressed looking Mira clutching her shirt in one hand while staring at the ground. "Mira? What's wrong?"

"Are you going to check on Nikolias?" she asked quietly.

"Yeah, why?"

"Can…Can I come to?"

Gracie smiled. "Of course! You know, you don't have to ask. Niky is always willing to see you."

She nodded, but didn't look much happier. The two of them then continued on towards the infirmary.

They walked in to see Nikolias lying on a bed with his eyes closed while Wendy attempted to heal his wound with her magic. They didn't want to disturb either of them, so they quietly walked over to the chairs by the bedside, sat themselves down, and watched Wendy work.

While keeping her focus on Nikolias' wound, Wendy smiled. "You two can feel free to talk."

"We don't want to disturb you," Gracie said.

"Oh, don't worry about me. I've used more intense magic in crazier environments. You two talking will not challenge me in the least," Wendy assured.

"But what about Nikolias? He's resting," Mira said.

"I'm just closing my eyes while I wait," Nikolias said and proceeded to open an eye. He caught Mira's gaze and smiled. "I'm not sleeping or anything. Feel free to talk."

Mira turned her gaze to her hands which were currently in her lap. "I knew I shouldn't have let you go."

Nikolias sighed. "Mira, this wound really is nothing. Please stop worrying about it. There's nothing that can be done about it now."

"I felt like something was off and said nothing," Mira said.

"You were nervous, Mira," Gracie said in an attempt to comfort her. "Niky's injury is no one's fault except for those who directly inflicted it. And those people are most likely dead."

Mira closed her eyes to fight back tears. She clenched her fists, bunching up the fabric of her dress in her fists. She then felt a hand gently touch her hand. She opened her eyes to see Nikolias smiling at her with a hand on hers. "Nikolias…"

"You don't have to worry, Mira. I'll always come back to you. So please, don't worry about me so much."

She could no longer fight back the tears anymore. Mira began to cry. "You promise?" she asked through the sobs.

He nodded and gave her a toothy grin. "You have my word."

She gave him a smile and nodded before standing up. "I feel better now. Thank you, Nikolias." She wiped the tears from her eyes. "I'll let you get some sleep. I'll talk to you later."

"Yeah, okay," he replied as he watched her leave the infirmary.

Gracie had been smiling throughout the whole conversation, but now that Mira was gone, her smile went with it. She turned to Wendy. "So how bad is it?"

Wendy's smile had also faded. "No matter how much magic I pour into it, the wound just won't close."

Gracie wasn't sure how to take this information. "So what does that mean?"

"It means that the wound will heal on its own, but whatever inflicted it is preventing outside forces from healing it or even closing it. I can't even stop the bleeding."

Gracie looked at Nikolias who was now staring at the ceiling. "Thoughts Niky?"

"Yeah, one thought, but I don't like it," he said.

Gracie's eyes widened. "You don't mean…"

Nikolias turned his head to look at her. "I don't know why and I don't know how, but the Bloody Moon guild has gotten their hands on the Red Eye."

Wendy looked shocked. "So what does that mean?"

He looked at her. "For one thing, it means if I didn't already have the Red Eye virus inside of my body, I would have died seconds after being hit. It also means that the wound can't be healed by anyone. Only time will heal it. However, none of that is my concern."

"Then what is?" Wendy asked.

He looked back at the ceiling. "If Bloody Moon has found a way to infuse the Red Eye with their magic, it could be beyond dangerous, even for humans. I'm afraid that if I'm right, fighting the Bloody Moon guild could spell disaster for Fairy Tail."

Wendy stopped healing Nikolias. "It's that dangerous?"

He sat up slightly. "The Red Eye isn't the part that's dangerous to you guys. It's the fact that it's acting as an enhancement for all of their other abilities."

Gracie cut in. "So other than the fact that your wound is odd, do you have any other evidence?"

"Well, it would explain that magic those two Bloody Moon guys had."

"Spatial Walk Magic?"

He nodded. "Yeah. I'm thinking that it was a type of magic developed with the Red Eye to enhance their already impressive speed."

Gracie thought about this. "So you're saying that they weren't teleporting…"

"I'm saying that they were moving so fast that it seemed as if they were teleporting." He sighed. "Now that I know this, if I focus on them while fighting them in the future, I can track their movements and beat the hell out of them."

"Can I ask you to expand on your theory by introducing other subjects?" Gracie asked.

"Give it a shot. I'd love to be proven wrong here."

"How about that Critik guy? He had something called Blood Circulate Magic. He could manipulate his blood and have it exit his body. He could even keep his blood flowing without a heart."

Nikolias thought hard. "I barely remember that guy. I was only really conscious when near him for 15 seconds. However, the fact that he didn't need a heart to live leads me to believe that the Red Eye is involved somehow."

"Why's that?" Wendy asked, trying her best to follow the conversation.

"Most likely, the Red Eye strengthened his blood flow so that even without a heart, the momentum of his blood could fill in the gap easily and keep pumping throughout his body."

"That one sounds a little farfetched," Gracie said with a small laugh.

Nikolias just shrugged. "I was going off of little information."

Gracie nodded. "Okay then. The scouting party met another member. He called himself Juggernaut. According to Levy, this guy had impenetrable skin. Also, his type of magic was called Clotted Blood Magic, so even if he got hurt, his blood would instantly clot and seal off the wound."

Nikolias sighed again. "I think that case officially decides it."

"Oh?" Gracie asked.

He nodded. "This guy you just mentioned can heal instantly and has unusually resilient skin. That's the basis of the Red Eye virus, only enhanced a bit. Now there's little doubt in my mind. Somehow, the Bloody Moon guild got their hands on the Red Eye virus."

"But how?" Gracie asked.

"I don't know, but you can be damn sure I'll find out soon," Nikolias said with a small growl.

"None of them have had red eyes, though."

"The Red Eye doesn't permanently turn your irises red. Only when it's activated will a person's eyes change. All that means is that none of the guys felt the need to tap into their deepest reserves." He paused to think. "Well, I suppose it's also possible that they aren't actually infected and just simply found a way to enhance their magic with the virus…"

Gracie scratched her head. "Man, this sucks. Well, if that wound is gonna close on its own, you should rest and not think too much about this stuff." Gracie stood. "Wendy and I will leave now. Call if you need anything!"

He nodded and smiled as the two left the room. As soon as they were gone, he stared at the ceiling. 'How? How is the Red Eye still around?'

A few hours had passed since Gracie and Nikolias' dramatic return and the guild was still talking about it. They couldn't believe that the Bloody Moon guild was able to find out their plans and they really couldn't believe that Nikolias was injured as severely as he was. They were glad that the duo was able to do some damage and come back alive, but none of them imagined it being so difficult.

Makarov suddenly appeared from his office looking tired and frustrated. He hopped onto the bar counter and cleared his throat. "Attention everyone! I have an announcement." Everyone gathered around and once Makarov saw that everyone except Nikolias was in front of him, he began. "As you know, the plan for a counterattack failed miserably in my mind. Not only was the Bloody Moon guild barely crippled, but one of our own took a nasty hit. Because of this, I have had to devise a new strategy for the future. Said strategy is focused on a passive approach for now. There's too much we don't know about our enemy, such as where they are currently hiding, so we must be prepared for when they come to us.

"Because we will be waiting for an unknown period of time, I can't ask you all to put off missions anymore. For a lot of you, it is your livelihood. So the suspension on missions is hereby lifted. However, I will ask you all to not take a mission that is too far away. I want anyone who is away to be able to return within a day's time. I also ask that anyone who leaves take a communication lacrima with them. Freed and Levy, I would ask you two to set up runes a few miles off of the border of Magnolia that would surround the area. Any magic users will trigger the alert so that we can be prepared. The alert will also send a message to the lacrima so that teams can return on the double.

"I regret having to put forth such a plan, but there is nothing better that I can think of. If anyone objects, I would welcome their input." The guild was silent. Makarov sighed. "Very well. For now, that is the plan." He then turned to Wendy and Gracie. "So how is Nikolias doing?"

Everyone turned to look at the two. Wendy fidgeted nervously. She didn't want to lie and say that he was doing fine, but she also didn't want to tell the truth and upset people. In the end, she decided that the former was for the best. "Nikolias is…"

"He's just resting, Master," Gracie cut in, having a pretty good idea that Wendy wouldn't lie. "He should be good as new very soon."

Makarov nodded. "That's good to hear. It still pains me that I put you two through such risk."

"Please, don't worry about it. We've been in tighter situations before. Besides, there was nothing wrong with the plan. Had they not been expecting us, we would have decimated them without breaking a sweat."

"That wound looked bad, though," Lucy said. "Are you sure he's fine?"

Gracie turned to answer her before a smile crept onto her face. "Well, you could just ask him yourself."

Everyone turned to see Nikolias walking over to everyone. His shirt was still off and everyone could see that the wound that he had only a few hours ago was completely healed. In fact, there was no trace of it.

"Nikolias, you're all better!" Natsu shouted.

Nikolias grinned. "It's like I told you guys, I've dealt with worse. That wound was nothing."

"But it's completely gone," Lucy marveled.

"That's the one benefit to the Red Eye; I heal quickly and don't scar afterwards."

Gracie smiled. "So rest was all you needed, huh?"

He looked at her. "Yeah, if you didn't have me walking all through the night and day, I probably would have healed faster than I did."

Gracie pouted and looked away. "I just wanted to get back soon so that it could get looked at."

Nikolias sighed. "Whatever. And to answer your question, Lucy, I'm completely fine."

Lucy smiled. "That's good. I'm glad to see you looking healthy again."

He returned the smile. "So if what my ears were hearing was correct, the plan is to stay put?"

Makarov nodded. "Yes, unfortunately we must wait for them to make a move first."

Nikolias nodded. "Makes sense."

"I'm sure you also heard that missions are no longer suspended."

Another nod. "Yeah, I heard that. I'll keep that in mind."

"Good. Well for now, you can do as you please. Freed and Levy, set up those runes as soon as you are able. Dismissed."

Everyone disbanded. Freed and Levy began mapping out plans for their runes. Mira went behind the bar with Kinana. Makarov went back into his office. All the others found tables and sat down to eat, drink, and talk. Some went right to the mission board to look for missions to do. Among that group was Natsu and Happy, Lucy, Gray, Erza, and Lisanna.

"How about this one, Luce?" Natsu asked as he pointed to a high reward job.

"It's too far away, Natsu," Erza responded.

"Fine, what about this one?" Natsu asked again.

"Flame brain, stop picking. You can't even remember the restrictions the Master gave," Gray said.

"You wanna start something, popsicle breath?" Natsu jeered.

"Yeah, I think you need the restrictions beaten into you!"

Erza separated the two. "Enough. Natsu, let Lucy pick one."

Natsu gave a humph and continued to search anyway.

Lucy was still scanning the board. She wanted one that was close, but would pay well. However, those were tough to find. "There has to be one decent mission that's close by," she groaned.

"I'd give up on decent, Lucy." Gray said. "With the restrictions we have, you won't find anything you want."

She sighed. "You're right. So what are you going to do then?"

Gray crossed his arms. "I'm sticking around the guild. There aren't any missions worth doing, so I'll stay for defense for now in case there's an attack."

Erza nodded. "I think I will do the same."

Lucy sighed. "I wanted some money for rent, but I think you guys are right. Maybe sticking around is better. Say Natsu, I think we should stay behind, don't you think?"

"No way!" he exclaimed as he tore his eyes from the board to look at her.

"Why?" she asked, taken aback by his reaction.

He scratched his cheek. "I've been itching to do a mission and we're a team, right?"

She smiled at him. "Yeah we are, but Natsu, there are no good missions."

Natsu blindly pulled a mission from the board. "Then we'll do this one. C'mon Luce, do a mission with me."

She looked at the paper and sighed. The pay was awful, but Natsu really wanted to do a mission and this one was close enough to be allowed. She gave him the paper back. "Fine, we'll go."

Natsu jumped into the air. "Alright! Happy, let's go get ready!"

"Aye sir!" Happy shouted as he flew after Natsu.

Natsu called out over his shoulder as he ran. "Meet you back at the guild in two hours, okay?"

"Fine!" Lucy called back. "Geez, he must have been antsy to do a mission."

"Well this is Natsu we're talking about," Erza commented.

Lucy giggled. "Too true." Lucy turned towards Lisanna who was still skimming the mission board. "Are you going to quit looking, Lisanna? There's not much on there."

Lisanna pulled a paper off of the board with a smile. "Nope, I'm going on this mission."

"Really? Who with?" Gray asked.

"I'm going to ask Nikolias. He said he would do a mission with me," she answered with a blush.

"That's nice," Lucy said.

Lisanna nodded before jogging off towards Nikolias, who was sitting and talking with Gracie at a table. As she approached, she felt her heart beat faster and she could feel her whole face heating up. Her steps became more timid and anxious and her stride slowed way down. She stopped next to the table and both Nikolias and Gracie looked up at her.

"Hey Lisanna, what's up?" Gracie asked.

Lisanna's whole face was red as she held out the mission towards Nikolias. "Nikolias, I was hoping that you would do a mission with me." She could swear that her heart was about to crack her ribs it was beating so loud and so hard.

Gracie turned and smiled mischievously at Nikolias. 'What a ladies' man.'

Nikolias smiled at her. "Sure sounds like fun," he said as he took the paper to scan it over.

Lisanna smiled. "Really?"

He looked at her with a raised eyebrow and couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "Of course, I already told you that I would, didn't I?"

She nodded. "Yeah, but I wasn't sure if you had changed your mind."

He shook his head. "I haven't. When did you want to leave?"

"An hour?"

"Sounds like a plan. I'll meet you at the guild doors in an hour."

"Okay!" she exclaimed as she bolted out the door.

Gracie watched Lisanna leave and giggled. "Aww, look how excited she is."

"Heh, maybe a little too excited," he said with a laugh.

Gracie looked at him. "So are you okay to do a mission?"

He nodded. "I'm fully healed, so I'm good to go. Besides, I need to let out some steam, even if the mission is simple."

"What will you be doing?"

"Helping a Captain load his ship in Hargeon. Simple manual labor."

"Sounds exciting."

"Well they can't all be winners, right?" He stood from his seat. "I'm gonna train a bit before I leave."

She nodded. "Okay Nikolias. See you tomorrow I guess."

He smiled and waved as he walked out of the guild.

Gracie sighed as she stood and walked over to the bar. Mira saw her and walked over. "Hi Gracie. What can I get you?"

"Eh, not really hungry. Just didn't feel like sitting at a table all alone."

"I thought you were sitting with Nikolias?"

"I was, but he's doing some training before he goes on a mission."

"He's going on a mission? With who?"

"Lisanna."

Mira felt a tinge of anger pulse through her. "Lisanna, huh?"

Gracie could sense the change in atmosphere. "Yeah, she asked him and he said okay," she said cautiously. "Are you okay?"

Mira furrowed her brow. "Well I don't really like it."

"Jealous huh?" Gracie teased.

She blushed. "I was hoping that we could go out again tonight."

"Don't worry, he'll be back tomorrow."

"I guess."

Gracie lit up. "Hey, we could go on a mission!"

"Really?"

"Yeah, it'd be fun! Plus it would take your mind off of Niky a bit."

"Yeah it might. Okay, let's do it! Some nice, quality girl time."

"Exactly. I'll go grab a mission," she said as she ran off.

Mira began to wipe the counter while she waited, unable to keep her thoughts away from Nikolias. 'I really missed him and now I have to wait for him again.'

Master Severo stood before the majority of the Bloody Moon guild—the ones who weren't offered as sacrifices to fight off the dragon. Among them were Juggernaut, Vanish, and Stealth who were kneeling at the front of the group. He looked at his bowing followers with an evil smirk.

"Friends! Our time has nearly come. The rise of the Bloody Moon guild will begin soon. And when it does, the entire world will fear our power!" Master Severo said.

"Master Severo, if I may speak," a man in the second row said while keeping his head bowed.

"Yes Stryke, what is it?" Severo asked.

"When do we kill the fairies?" Stryke asked.

Severo grinned evilly. "Have a little more patience, my friend. In three days time, we will march upon Magnolia and destroy Fairy Tail once and for all. And I have another piece of wonderful news to share with you all. For this news, I want you all to rise so that I can see the looks of joy you will all have." Everyone rose to their feet. Once all were standing, Severo raised his arms. "Our Grand Lord has taken an interest in our mission and has decided to join us in seeing it accomplished!" There were loud cheers from all the members of the dark guild. "When we march to Magnolia, he will accompany us and fight alongside us when he feels compelled to do so. However, heed this warning; our Grand Lord demands that no one but him is to kill the dragon. Understood?" Everyone nodded their understanding. "Good. Then let's all prepare ourselves, for in three days, our grand adventure towards power begins!" A thunderous roar echoed through the halls while Severo laughed maniacally. "This world will be ours!"
