3rd Person (P.O.V)
"Wow" Sophia whispered in amazement as Lily told her and Amy stories.
"Yea". Lily said although confidence still a bit nervous as she didn't have to many good experiences with people taking magic well.
"That's awesome". Sophia exclaimed having a starry eyed look in her eyes.
"Why didn't you the group?". Amy asked curiously there was no judgment in her voice.
"Witches and wizards were never allowed to expose ourselves to the mundane world as it never ended well for anyone. If anyone of my kind married outside of it we weren't allowed to tell our spouses until after we were married which also never ended well for anyone especially if there are children involved with the potential of magic manifesting in them.
"What's does mundane mean?". Sophia asked innocently.
"So there are more people like you". Amy question at the same time as she slowly absorb the information.
"Mundane is what we call people without magic, there are many of us we live in Secret throughout the world unfortunately our numbers are dwindling as are the mundane. And honestly to answer your question from before I didn't tell the group people wouldn't understand and they fear what they don't understand". Lily explain a bit guarded as she didn't know what Amy was thinking. "Dobby why don't you show Sophia the greenhouse". Lily said as she still needed to talk to Amy.
"Dobby can do that come along missy Sophia". Dobby said as he held out his hand for Sophia who gladly took it. Even though she's young she is observant and she could tell Lily didn't want her around at the moment.
Lily sat down across from Amy resting her chin on top of her hands trying to get her thoughts together. The young blonde started to feel uneasy not knowing what the young witch had to tell her.
"What's going on Lily?". Amy asked cautiously as she could see the sadness in Lily's eyes.
"I'm sorry Amy, there was an attack on the campsite...". Lily trailed off a bit not wanting to be the bearer of bad news.
"Is my sister alright?". Amy asked as she felt her heart racing.
"I'm sorry". Lily whispered as she shook her head, Amy's entire world stop as tears filled her blue eyes.
She already had lost her parents, her sister was the only family she had left. Tear down her cheek as she didn't know what she was going to do. A small part of her wanted to lash out at Lily or maybe anyone in general who had magic as maybe it would have helped people survive.
"What's going to happen now?". Amy questioned as she was completely lost especially without her sister.
Lily sighed sadly looking at the broken blonde who wiped her tears away. "As of right now the group is deciding and there's been talking to the CDC. I'll plan on following at the moment as I need to gather more information on the virus after that my siblings and the Dixons will part from the group. The only reason we've stuck around after the way some of the people have treated us was for the kids and some of the people in the group developed a soft spot for.
"Your leaving us?". Amy asked sadly.
"Your more than welcome to come with us Amy. It was always a given of the group splitting up, we all have different personalities within both groups it doesn't work. Everybody will not accept magic even if you help protect them and I also have to protect my family as I once had a habit of always trying to be the hero and I can't do that anymore so as much as it hurts to leave some people have gone found out it's for the best
"Who else would go?". Amy asked as she tried to be strong, if not she would fall apart as she just wanted to lay in a bed and cry over the death of her sister.
"With what is left of the group right now on my list would probably be you if you decide to come, plus Carol and Sophia I honestly don't know about the others". Lily said shrug as she wasn't fond of many people within the group and had no plans on revealing her magic to everyone.
"Can we be save with magic?". Amy asked as she had nowhere else to go. She had grown a friendship of sorts with Lily and wanted to go.
"I'm not going to lie Amy magic isn't the answer for everything. I can't make any promises but I will do my best to protect anyone within my group". Lily said adamantly she will do what she can but she refused to be taken advantage of as she has been in the past.
After a bit more talking Amy follow Lily to get Sophia. All three girls left the trunk with Lily giving dobby instructions to take all three kids back to the RV as to not raise suspicions and for him to also look after Ambrose who was still asleep.
Lily spoke a bit more to Sophia and both girls promise to keep the existence of magic a secret.
Amy broke down once seeing the body of her sister Andrea. Lily held her as she tried to comfort her as the other group collected the bodies and started to bury them.
She tried to tell them it wasn't a good idea but the other group didn't listened so she just gave up as she had other things to worry about. Sophia and Carol stayed next to their car after a bit of crying at the loss of Ed who didn't deserve it.
"What going to happen?". George asked as he sat across from Lily with Luna and the Dixon brothers standing in the kitchen of the RV.
"For right now I think it's best if we go to the CDC and see what type of information they have. Once we get what we can we separate from the other group as it's completely broken". Lily said as the killer within her wanted as much information as she could get on what caused the outbreak.
"So it's going to be just us?". George asked as he was a bit surprised.
"No, during the chaos dobby popped in to take the kids into the apartment while Sophia and Amy were here. Both girls know about magic and I've offered Amy a place in the group. The same go for Sophia and Carol once I tell her the truth". Lily explained as she looked around to the group who were clearly surprised besides Luna who had a smile on her face.
"How'll ya think everyone is gonna to take it?". Merle asked curiously as he saw his baby brother looked at the beautiful witch again.
"I'm not telling anyone else in the group, Sophia and Amy took it pretty well and hopefully so will Carol but I'm still a bit cautious as she is a Christian but hoping that the safety of her daughter is more important than her faith". Lily said as she knew people who had religious beliefs didn't take well to being told magic existed.
A few hours later the group meeting it was decided it was time to leave the Quarry. Unfortunately the Morales family decided to split from the group with their two children. It did bother Lily are bit but she couldn't save everyone and hope they would be all right.
Amy had decided to ride with Dale, the older man had reminded her of her father and a part of her hoped he would come with Lily's group as she wanted to survive even though she was young she also had to do what was best for her and her better chance were with her friend's group.
