Jaune didn't attempt to squirm or try to free himself. Silco stood right in front of him, his daughter was at the mercy of them. The Collective…they were here. Had they become more daring coming straight to their mortal enemy's world.

"Don't you dare lay your hands on my daughter!" Jaune yelled out before the armored figure muzzled him with his hand once more.

"Watch out Mr. Arc. Oroku here is known as "The Shredder" for a good reason. He will have no problem tearing you to shreds and I'm not interested in causing a scene nor a bloodbath. We are just here for the child and that's all. We have been ordered to take her home."

Inconsistent mumbling came from Jaune, quite clearly protests against his words.

"Mumble as much as you want boy you can't stop it. Be grateful that we will spare you and allow you leave with your life intact."

Jaune bit right in the Shredder's gloved hand, the momentary shock made him lose his grip, allow for Jaune to kick backwards straight into Saki's kneecaps and in one fluid surprising motion he grabbed his sword and shield as they transformed into Crocea Mors and he slammed the Shredder in the head with the shield.

The armored fighter fell to his knees and Jaune quickly turned around and faced Silco. "Give her back or else!"

"Or else what boy?" Silco said mockingly.

Jaune thought about his next action, the man they called The Shredder wasn't going to stay down for long, he had to be quick.

"I will call Gojo" Jaune threatened.

He knew evoking that name put the literal fear of God into the Collective. But Silco's expression didn't change the way he had expected. Instead of a terrified face he got a sly smile.

"Go ahead and try. We have it on good authority that he is currently off world so even if you can reach him we will be long gone by the time he arrives."

Gojo off world? He should've recalled Yang saying that but in the busy city streets he felt he could barely get a word in nor hear things properly.

This was bad….without Gojo's presence preventing the Collective from doing pretty much anything….he looked over at Kara….

He felt himself grabbed by his hoodie and flung backwards unto the ground, followed by the Shredder stomping his giant metal foot right on his chest, causing Jaune to squirm in pain.

"You dare to oppose the Shredder!" his blade protrusions where mere inches removed from Jaune's face.

Jaune tried to pull the foot of him but felt his efforts in vain, he was completely pinned down.

"Enough of this. We have the child we will lea…."

A loud thud was heard as Yoru was blasted backwards into view and fell onto the ground. An angry looking Weiss appeared with at least shining Glyphs around her, turning to face the group and see the situation Jaune and Kara were in.

Raising Myrtenaster she jumped into the air jumped on the biggest Glyph she had summoned and launched herself at them. Silco raised his arm, a metallic gauntlet with purple fluid in them appeared and before Jaune could warn her, with remarkable accuracy Silco had already took the shot and it had landed with Weiss falling out of the air and landed on the ground. The Fairy Godmother raised her wand and a blast of magical tendrils shot from the ground and wrapped around Weiss's arms and waists, pinning her down.

Silco retracted the metallic gauntlets backwards just as Yoru stood up and rubbed her head in annoyance.

"Your sister would've dealt with this faster" Silco told her.

"Bite me Silco!" Yoru snarled as she made her way towards the group, her eyes staring daggers especially at Weiss, a scowl of jealousy that Weiss recognized almost instantly. Yoru made her way over towards a pinned Jaune and observed him carefully before giving a very pompous response.

"So you're the guy my sister is obsessed with. Pfft what a disappointment, you're not exactly measuring up to the idea she described, not unlike my dear Megumi" Yoru clasped her hands together and staring dreamingly into the distance.

"Megumi…wait what the…what does he have to do with this?" Jaune said confused.

"Never mind her she's just boy crazy. I guess that's the only thing she and her sister have in common" Silco said stoically.

Yoru's dreamy glance shattered and was replaced with a look and huff off annoyance, she turned to Silco "you know I'm sick and tired of people always comparing me to her. 'Oh look at what Weiss did!' 'can you believe it, Weiss conquered another sector!' 'why can't you be more like your sister!"

Yoru's shouting and frankly loud rant had made everyone aside from Silco look up in surprise as she aired all her grievances about her seemingly superior sister out in the open. Weiss turned her eyes to Jaune and then to Kara, who seemed concealed in an almost magical bubble courtesy of the Fairy Godmother.

"Can someone please explain to me what's going on?" Weiss yelled out in her annoyed tone. Silco's one good working eye looked at her and Yoru scowled in her direction.

"I know you are all from the Collective and that you," she turned her eyes to Yoru "have major sister issues and need a lot of theraphy."

"How dare you!" Yoru scowled but Silco held her back saying "you are correct. Quite perceptive of you just like the other you. I believe we haven't met before. My name is Silco, I'm the right hand to the Great Titan. You have already met Yoru and Asa" he gestured to a still scowling Yoru.

"Two people at once?" Weiss inquired.

"Devil possession it's a long story dear girl. The scars tell them apart. And these two enigmatic individuals are Oroku Saki and the Fairy Godmother."

Saki, aka the Shredder had Jaune still pinned to the ground, his weapon way out of his grasp. Weiss's gaze lowered to her side, Myrtenaster was right there at her side but the tendrils prevented her hand from reaching for it. She needed to figure out a way to get it fast!

"Why are you here?"

Silco raised his eyebrow at her, almost as if he was surprised by that question. "We came here to retrieve the Lord Titan's granddaughter. She does not belong here, she belongs with her actual family!"

"No way you are taking my daughter!" Weiss yelled out.

This seemed to surprise everyone in the room, Jaune included as he stared at her. Did she just…did she just refer to Kara as her daughter. She had only been pretending to ensure the little girl's feeling weren't hurt.

"Your daughter?. You may share the same face as her mother but you are nothing like her. All that the Lord Titan's daughter is capable of, you barely manage a fraction of her capabilities" Silco spoke.

Had this been years ago, Weiss would have been more hurt by those words. But the years and experiences had humbled her. No longer did she try to aspire to live up to the expectations of those that wouldn't appreciate them, she now only strived to prove herself to herself.

She glanced over to see a worried and screaming Kara inside the magic bubble, no sound came out of it but it was clear that the girl was in distress and wanted to be freed.

"Let her go!" Weiss shouted once again.

Silco lowered his head close to her, making her see close-up the half disfigured appearance of the right side of his face "if it makes you feel any better now that she will be reunited with her actual family."

"Last I checked her actual psycho of a mom was thrown out of a window!" Weiss spat.

Silco smirked "do you honestly believe that the daughter of the Great Titan would go down so easily."

What was he saying? Was he implying that?

"The look on your face speaks volumes girl. But to you Mr. Arc," Silco spoke as he walked over to the still pinned down Jaune "you have a right to know. The mother of your daughter is still alive. Weiss Schnee still lives."

Weiss saw the expression on Jaune's face fall into a state of shock and despair. "But…but how…I thought…"

"You presumed wrong. Maybe I have told you way too much but from one father to another I feel you have earned at least that. So maybe now you understand, the girl belongs with her actual mother, not some imposter that just happens to look like her pretending to be her."

Weiss felt a sting. A sting of pain and uncertainty. Jaune felt like his whole world had come crashing down. The mother of his daughter still alive?

But if that was true why hadn't she tried to locate them? Weiss certainly thought her crazy enough to try it, consequences be damned. Would she have continued looking for Jaune and try to find him no matter what even if she would have to go past the only man the Collective feared?

Weiss was thinking of all the possibilities and looking around the room. There was no way out of this situation. Jaune was pinned down completely and Crocea Mors was out of reach and while Myrtenaster was within reach she couldn't move her hand to grab it. It was literally right underneath her hand just meters removed.

Again she looked up saw Yoru scowling with her arms crossed and a bright idea went off in her head.

"Must be hard for you, Yoru right?" she started.

The War Devil looked down on her "huh?" she muttered.

Weiss spoke nonchalantly "you know having to grow up in the shadow of your better and more capable sister. I know what that's like, to feel like you're incapable of doing anything right compared to her."

Yoru's fists clenched. Jaune looked up worried and yelled "Weiss what are you doing!"

"It must sting deep down knowing Thanos favors her over you. I mean, he sends her out on one of the biggest missions ever and you…well I didn't know you existed until today."

"Be quiet!" Yoru snarled.

"And look at all he has done for her, he took her long lost love from another place in the Multiverse just to make her happy. And yet he didn't do the same for you…the man you love is now with someone else and from what I've seen they are very…very happy."

The way she paused in that sense, it was like rubbing salt in an open wound and Jaune could hear it in her voice and saw the result as Yoru almost shook from anger like she was ready to burst.

"BE QUIET!" the War Devil yelled out.

"Yoru control yourself!" Silco yelled out to her.

Jaune knew Weiss was bluffing they hadn't even met Megumi's girlfriend, Yang had only told them over the phone that was apparently a complete and utter nutcase.

"And now that I recall Megumi has never even mentioned your name. Not that I blame him, you seem to be as dull as anesthetic and your fighting moves where terrible. Your sister could at least get up, tch, no wonder she is the favorite."

Yoru was glowing positively mad with anger. Her fists tightened as she reached forward in an instant.

"YORU NO!" Silco yelled out in vain.

"STOP COMPARING ME TO HER! YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME!"

Yoru had grabbed Weiss by the throat and had pinned her to the ground, her face red with anger as she held the heiress with one hand down. In her fury she did not notice Weiss moving her hand to pick up Myrtenaster and she grinned as she used her sword to summon glyphs all around the area, blasting energy that knocked Yoru off of her to the ground before the energy blasted the Fairy Godmother backwards right into a rack filled with clothing. Next was Silco who was blasted sideways and fell into another glyph causing him to be launched across the room.

The magical enchantment faded from her body and Weiss stood up armed with Myrtenaster in hand.

"Drop it or he dies!" she heard as she turned around to see Shredder holding Jaune, his knifed knuckles aimed at the young man's throat.
