Hope everyone's been enjoying the rewrite so far. I am enjoying the rewrite myself. I know it is very different from the original write, especially with how Saphira meets Barricade. But I hope everyone has been enjoying it so far. Cheers!

Saphira stayed where she was as the robot approached her. She was afraid to move, even if this bot had not hurt her. Although, while she thought that the bot could hurt her, it would have done it already if it wanted to. Unlike the eyes of the previous robot, this bot's eyes held kindness in them rather than anger and hate. Something that she saw in Barricade's eyes. Standing on the edge of the hill, it placed its hands on its hips, looking down at her. Saphira said nothing to it as she did not what to say. However, the robot seemed to notice her injured hand. He gestured to it with a concerned expression, making Saphira glance down at it. Despite the fabric being wrapped tightly around the wound, blood was still soaking it, even though it has slowed down.

"Don't worry, I am fine," Saphira said, her voice was shaky from nervousness, shrugging slightly and looked back up at the robot. The bot didn't say anything. "You spoke before didn't you? Are you mute now?"

"XM satellite radio, digital cable brings you Columbia broadcasting system," Came the response from the robot, and Saphira now realized it was definitely through the radio. Not just while in the car.

She smiled slightly at it. "So, you talk through the radio huh?" The bot played cheering noises and clapped his hands together, gesturing to her that she got it right. He definitely was a lot nicer than the other bot. She glanced at the sky for a moment before looking back at him. "So what was that last night huh? The light you shot into the sky, what was that?"

The robot gestures up to the sky while speaking through the radio, using actual lines from movies and recordings that were on record. "Message from Starfleet, Captain, throughout the inanimate vastness of space, angels will rain down like visitors from heaven. Hallelujah!"

She widened her eyes at what that meant. That meant he was not from Earth! "Are you like an alien or something?" The bot gave her a gesture to tell her she was correct before he crouched onto the ground and transformed back into the camaro, opening the door for her.

"Anymore questions you wanna ask?"

Saphira stared at it in disbelief. "Wow…um…this is so much…" She placed her hands on her forehead for a moment and shakes her head. "But…this has to be the best dream of my life."

"Oh yeah? Unlikely," Came the response from the radio with some laughter.

She chuckled a little at the car before she walked towards the car and stepped into the passenger seat, getting herself comfortable in the comfortable leather. She knew a normal person would think she was crazy, but she also didn't want to look back fifty years from now and say she didn't have the courage to get into the car. Besides, a robot car sounded like a much better thing to hang out with than any person on the planet. Even better than her own parents. The car drives away and Saphira was just able to see Barricade laying in a heap, she shrugged as she knew he brought it on himself by attacking her.

As the car drives away from the wharf, Saphira couldn't help but stare at the dash in front of her. She was still trying to understand all of this. "Do you have a name?" She asked curiously. "I don't want to just refer to you as car."

"This is a bumblebee," Came the reply through the radio. "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

"Bumblebee…" Saphira smirked as the colour the car itself matched the name perfectly. "So your name is Bumblebee right?" Cheering came through the radio again, confirming her question for her. "Nice, I should have known that was your name. Makes total sense now. Thank you for saving my life Bumblebee…I do not know why you are even here though. But it is nice to know I have a robot friend now."

"You can count on me."

She chuckled softly and gazed out the window of the car. "At least talking to cars does not seem so stupid anymore."

There was no response and that was fine. Saphira was just happy to be here. Still, it was extremely weird to be in the passenger seat for once. She was so used to being in the driver's seat that it was really strange. Nonetheless, she was not complaining much at all. Still, she did wonder why it didn't let her drive. She was a great driver. Maybe it didn't know.

"I have to say, you're not a bad driver. But I could teach you a lot of things." Saphira glanced at the steering wheel for a moment as she thought about getting into the driver seat right now. "I am a very good driver."

"Nah, I'm good."

"Are you sure?" She grinned at the dash. "You would not regret anything." No response again, but she felt the seat jolting slightly which surprised her. "Just kidding! I am not going to drive if you don't want me to."

"Excellent."

She raised an eyebrow when she heard Mr Burns' voice through the radio and she chuckled softly. "Anyway…I have to say, you picked a really nice car to transform into. I never imagined a robot would transform into an old camaro, I would expect a newer camaro. You saw the SS I have in my garage, so you know I love old cars."

"But you wouldn't mind an upgrade would you?"

"An upgrade? I suppose not, technically I could buy a brand new camaro, but I am happy with what you have right now." Saphira did not really understand what the bot even meant by upgrade anyway. However, she spotted a yellow 2008 Camaro SS ahead of them on the highway. "I guess that is what an upgrade could look like. But to be honest, I have no idea what you even mean."

There was no response, however, as they drive past the other camaro, Saphira saw a blue beam of light from Bumblebee, he seemed to scan the other car. She gasped loudly as she felt the seats suddenly change shape and fabric, she gripped the side of the seat as she was not expecting it. She saw the old steering wheel change to a more modern wheel with a luxury coat around it, the dash upgraded to a more detail and luxury version, and Saphira glanced at the hood to see the paint of the car was not faded anymore. She widened her eyes as the front of the car's shape had changed too, and there was almost a new car smell.

"Okay…I wish I could do that with my cars," Saphira commented with a chuckle. "This is so cool! You're amazing Bumblebee."

"Aw shucks, you're too nice."

She chuckled again before a light in the sky catches her eye. She glanced up and widened her eyes, there were asteroids entering the atmosphere. She watched them curiously the way the asteroids were positioned next to each other, and they were heading towards the city. This was odd because she didn't think asteroids could be formations like that. It was amazing to watch, her eyes follow them as they fly over the city to crash land. She hoped they don't land on anyone because that would be very bad.

"Wow…that was…I have never seen that before," Saphira commented, gazing out of the window curiously with her eyes still looking at the sky.

"They have arrived."

They?!

She looked at the dash in surprise, she realized that the asteroids held the other robots that Bumblebee said were coming. "Did you arrive to Earth like this too?"

"Of course I did."

The landing must have been very rough. But she didn't know of course. She did want to go to the crash sites to meet them though. After all, Saphira wanted to know who his friends were. But, it seemed Bumblebee had other plans as he made a right to drive towards a industrial area that would have shut down for the night.

"Hey Bee, we should go to your friends," Saphira said, pointing in the direction of the asteroids. "I am sure they will be very happy to see you."

"They will come to us. Be patient child, they are unharmed."

Saphira did wish that it wasn't just radio responses she was getting from him, but if Bumblebee thought his friends were okay, then she should trust him. She just hoped he was right, she might not have met his friends, but a first good impression seemed like a good idea in her mind. After all, she didn't want to be on their bad side. Bumblebee continued to drive towards the industrial area, she rubbed her fingers together before glancing at her hand. She wondered if the cut was still bleeding. The blood stain didn't seem to grow anymore than it has already, but that did not mean the wound wasn't still bleeding, even just a little. It was starting to throb a little at this point, she rubbed her fingers along it and sighed deeply.

"Why was Barricade attacking me anyway Bumblebee? Are you and him friends?" Saphira asked curiously, trying to understand the new beings she had just met.

"Pah! Now, we have been at war for many long years. He is not my friend." That response made it seemed like Bumblebee was a little angry Saphira suspected he was friends with Barricade. "Do not trust him."

"Sorry, I was not sure. Is he an alien too?" She knew she was asking a lot of questions, but she wanted to know the answers to what she was dealing with. "Let me know if I am being annoying at all."

"You don't annoy me. Yes, he is an alien."

That was a relief. Saphira was glad she was not annoying Bumblebee. She did wonder why he was bringing her to this industrial area though. Especially as he drove between two large buildings. She recognized it, the distribution center her father worked at now used to be here before it moved. This place used to be a very busy hub, but there was hardly anything left. Making it a good spot for a private meeting, or worse even. But Saphira had no reason to distrust Bumblebee yet. So as she felt the car slowing down, she realized this is where they were stopping.

"Errrmm…Bee…can I call you Bee? Anyway…this is kind something…" Saphira paused as she looked around uncertainly. "This is usually the part of a movie where something jumps out and eats you."

"This ain't a movie kid, this is real life."

She was surprised by the response, but it made her chuckle because it was an amusing answer, at least, that is what she thought. Nonetheless, Saphira still did not know why they were there. However, she saw a seat of lights coming towards them. Bumblebee comes to a stop, and through some mist, Saphira was able to see the lights belonged to a Peterbuilt truck. It was a custom paintjob with a blue body, red flame on the side doors and the hood painted orange and red with blue flames at the front of the hood. There were blue LED lights along the lower bumper and on either side of the front of the truck. Saphira opened the door curiously, stepping out into the cold air, she shivered as she still only just had her t-shirt on. When she did though, she heard the sound of other car engines behind her. She looked back to see a GMC Topkick, Pontiac Solstice and a Hummer H2 ambulance approaching them. Saphira couldn't help but wonder how long it took for them to get out of the asteroid wreckage they were in.

However, looking ahead at the Peterbuilt, him being alone made her think maybe he was their leader. She didn't know, stepping forward towards the truck curiously. She glanced back at the camaro when Bumblebee backs away, giving them space. Saphira folded her arms and looked as the truck slows down and came to a stop right in front of her. She noticed on top of the grid of the truck was the same symbol Bumblebee had on his steering wheel, she wondered if that was significent or not. But she didn't have long to ponder, as the top of the grid suddenly pops and arms pull out from the hood and raise up, making her step back in surprise as the robot in front of her transformed slowly. She watched in awe at how careful this bot was transforming, every part of him moved around, she heard the sound of air being forced out of joints in his body and it seemed like he was getting used to this form. She didn't know if that was truly the case of course, but that is what it seemed. On top of that, he was huge! Twice Bumblebee's size! Saphira didn't even feel as though she was intimidated by him though, she was mezmerized because seeing the transformation up close felt like a privilege. She only turned her eyes away when she heard the others transforming, she then realized she was right in the middle of all of them. She debated to know if that was good or not.

She looked back at the tallest bot, he looked back down at her with a kind expression before he takes a step forward and slowly drops down to one knee, placing a hand down on the ground to support himself as he got closer to her with his bright, blue eyes. "Are you Saphira Dawn?"

That voice made her jump, she had not expected to hear him speak, she actually expected him to speak through the radio like Bumblebee. And his voice was deep, yet it was harsh or angry, it was calm. "Uhhh…yes I am…"

She sees the bot relax and his lips curl into a smile. "My name is Optimus Prime. We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron."

"But you can call us autobots for short." She glanced back at the bot who took on the Hummer H2 vehicle form with a yellow green colour.

"Autobots?"

Saphira didn't know what to think as she gazed around at the other autobots. She glanced at the smallest of them who was silver like the Pontiac he can transform into. "What's cracking little bitch?"

She raised an eyebrow a little, not expecting him to talk like that. "My first lieutenant. Designation Jazz," Optimus said, gesturing to the bot as Jazz somersaults and lands on the ground.

"This looks like a cool place to kick it," Jazz continued before jumping backwards onto the body of a car that had been stripped of all its engine parts.

She still wondered how they learned to talk that way though. This was not something she would expect from alien robots. "How did he learn to talk like that?" She flinches a little when she heard Optimus standing up and glanced up at him curiously.

"We have learned Earth's langauges through the World Wide Web." Saphira was a tad jealous they learned their languages almost instantly through the internet, unlike for a human that it could take time to learn. Optimus gestures to another autobot who was nearly as large as him with the black paint. "My weapon's specialist, Ironhide."

She blinked in shock as Ironhide arms himself suddenly, aiming the cannons towards her. "You feeling lucky, punk?"

"Easy Ironhide."

"Just kidding, I just wanted to show her my cannon," Ironhide shrugs, glancing at his weapons slightly with a smirk. He winked at her, making Saphira smirk slightly as she was glad he was just joking.

"Our medical officer, Ratchet," Optimus continued, gesturing to the yellow, green bot who had spoken before.

"You seem to be a little cold," Ratchet comments as he could see Saphira was shivering from the cold.

"That's because I am, it's not a warm time of the year right now." Saphira hunched over slightly, moving her arms a little to try and keep warm. "I didn't exactly bring a jacket or anything."

"I suppose your guardian, Bumblebee, should have taken that into consideration," Optimus said, glancing at Bumblebee who frowned and shakes his head at Optimus. "Yes, you should have. Humans feel the cold more than we do."

"Guardian huh? You could have told me that." She was trying not to let her teeth chatter as she didn't want to show how could she was. "But how come you can't talk like the others?"

Ratchet aimed a red light towards Bumblebee's throat, making him cough a little as he spoke. "His vocal processors were damaged in battle. I am still working on them." At least that answered her question on why he couldn't talk properly.

Saphira rubbed her hands together for a moment and looked up at Optimus. They were here for a reason. And why her of all people? "Why are you here? Why am I even of interest to you?"

"We are here looking for the All Spark." She frowns slightly at Optimus's response, that sounded like something that had nothing to do with her. "And we must find it before Megatron. You hold the key to finding the All Spark."

"I'm sorry, Mega-what? And I don't know where it is, so I am not much help to you at all." She sighed deeply and shakes her head. "I think you got the wrong girl."

"I do not believe that is the case. Allow me to explain Saphira." Optimus lifts his hand to the side of his face and pressed a button, he closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again, shining the light down at her. Saphira gasped as it looked like the cement around her began to break away, however, she quickly realized it was just a memory being projected and showing his world once strange towards started emerging from the ground. "Our planet was once a powerful empire, peaceful and just, until we were betrayed by Megatron, leader of the Decepticons. All who defied them were destroyed." Saphira saw Megatron's form, he was as big as Optimus with sharp teeth and a sinister gaze that she would remember should she meet the bot. "Our war finally consumed the planet, and the All Spark was lost to the stars. Megatron followed it to Earth, where Captain Witwicky found him."

She frowned in surprise when Optimus mentioned Archibald Witwicky. "Please tell me you are joking right? That idiot captain found Megatron?"

Optimus blinked in surprise, he had not expected her to respond like that. "Why would I lie about something like that?" Saphira still did not believe it, as far as she knew, that captain was a fool especially upon his return from his final voyage. "It was an accident that intertwined our fates."

"Oh I see…I am surprised you didn't arrive sooner, because you wouldn't be needing a sixteen year old girl to help you…if I even can." Saphira huffed as she was getting annoyed about being cold. "Look, can I hear more about it later? I'm freezing!" She gasped when she felt something drop on top of her and glanced down to see it was a jacket. She glanced up to see Bee placing his hands on his hips. "Where did you get that?"

"You left it on the backseat," Came the response with a smug expression.

"I did?" Saphira thought back for a moment and realized. "Oh yeah, I threw it in there when I took you to the garage." She picked up the jacket and quickly slipped it on. "Shit! It's so cold…but I'll be fine."

"Can the boss please continue explaining?" Ironhide said gruffly. "I don't want to be wasting anymore time, punk! We have better things to do."

"Ironhide…" Optimus glanced at him with a disapproved expression. "Be patient. I will continued explaining to Saphira now that she has proper attire." He looked back down at Saphira, she still had her arms folded and was looking up at him. "Shall I continue?" She nodded and gestured for him to keep going, he could tell she was getting irritated though. "As I was saying, Megatron crash-landed before he could retrieve the Cube. Captain Witwicky accidentally activated his navigation system. As a result, the coordinates to the Cude's location of Earth were imprinted on his glasses."

His glasses?!

"Why is everyone after those glasses?" Saphira shakes her head slightly and shrugged. "But how did you even know about them in the first place?"

"My Blog Space." She blinked as Optimus's response sounded so serious when he said the blogsite she uses she nearly laughed at him.

"If the decepticons find the All Spark, they will use its power to transform Earth's machines and build a new army," Ratchet explained, finally giving Saphira some picture of how important it was to find this All Spark. It would affect everyone, not just her.

"And the human race, will be extinguished." She looked up at Optimus, widening her eyes as the seriousness weighed heavily on her shoulders. "Saphira Dawn, you hold the key to Earth's survival."

All the autobots were looking at her expectingly, Saphira glanced around nervously at them as they all expected her to do something. She didn't even have the glasses with her! She would have to go back to the house to get them. They wouldn't be at the garage as she never takes her school projects there.

"Um…I guess we should go to the house…" Saphira looked up at Bumblebee, swallowing nervously. "Can you take me there?"

"We will accompany you back to your home…" Optimus began.

"Ah, no, it's just the house," Saphira responded quickly with a frown. The commander looked at her with confusion. "Shit…um…forget what I said. The glasses should be in my bedroom back at the house. But I am not sure if you should accompany me anyway…but there is an alley behind the house to hide in…as long as you stay there."

"Fine. Just get us the glasses as quickly as possible." Optimus transforms back into the Peterbuilt and waits for Bumblebee to lead the way.

She looked at Bumblebee as he crouches and transforms beside her, opening the door for her. She jumped in and she smiled when she felt the heater on her body. She closed the door and held her hands against the vents to heat them up. She was relieved she was finally able to get warm. However, she did wonder if these glasses were really that important. She didn't understand how Witwicky came into contact with Megatron. And, did her grandfather know about it? After all, he did tell her she had something important to keep secret for the rest of her life. And the autobots could be that reason, or decepticons. She did not know, but it made sense. And as they drive away from the industrial area, Saphira wondered if they will leave her alone once they have the glasses. Saphira hoped they wouldn't, after all, they were by far the most interesting beings she's ever met in her life. And she wouldn't mind hanging out with them, if it was possible.
