Saphira opened her eyes as the light of the sun filtered through the small window of the room. She blinked and yawned, stretching her limbs for a moment before she realized and sat up suddenly. She was laying on her bed with the blankets pulled over her body. It seemed that it was not a dream at all! Saphira stood up and crept towards the door to peer out, yes she didn't really have a bedroom anymore, but it was okay. She saw Bumblebee sitting in the garage, the others were not present and yet the door was down. She guessed one of them had seen her asleep at her desk and brought her to her room. That was nice of them.

Saphira smiled and turned away to grab some fresh clothes and walked into the bathroom to use the toilet and to shower. She didn't really get a chance to shower the day before so it was nice to get warm for the day. She didn't take long though, just enough to wash her hair and scrub lotion into her skin, she knew very well how much utilities were and she was mindful of how much she used. Once she had showered, she slipped on a black, three-quarter yoga pants and a pink, V-neck t-shirt and walked out of the bathroom. She grabbed her rolled up yoga mat and approached the door to the garage again. She smiled as it was just Bumblebee and grabbed the keys to her Chevelle and tiptoed over to the car. She did not know if Bumblebee was still sleeping or not. And she grimaced as she pressed the remote to open the garage door, letting the early morning sunlight in. There was still nothing from Bee and she gets into the Chevelle and started the motor before driving onto the driveway and closing the door behind her. Too late now if Bee had noticed her.

Although, she was not going to do anything rash as she drives away from the garage. There was a spot she went to now each morning for yoga and that was simply where she was going. If the autobots find her there, that was totally fine. She drove through the city, humming gently to herself as she drove through the streets towards a more hilly side of town. She turned off onto a dirt road and drove along it with trees on either side, sheltering the area as the road opened up to a hill overlooking the city with the sunrising on the horizon. She smiled, parking the car and getting out, walking over to a flat part of the hill and throwing out the map, holding it down with a couple rocks so it doesn't roll back up. Saphira sat down to start with the easy seat pose, crossing her legs and placing her hands on her knees, closing her eyes and taking in deep breaths while enjoying the warmth of the sunlight on her body. She stayed in the position for a few minutes before she repositions her body to the seated twist, bending her knees with one over the other. She smiled to herself as this was extremely calming to out in nature like this first thing in the morning. She changes her pose again, laying on her stomach briefly before pushing herself up and getting on her toes for the plank pose, holding herself there for a few minutes and breathing in and out until she moved onto her arms for the forearm plank. She was pretty much zoned out enough that she did not even hear engines approaching the location, and that was how zoned out she was.

When she moved her body again for the chaturanga pose, she felt someone tap her shoulder. She opened one eye to see Ratchet's, middle-aged holoform standing there looking at her with a curious expression. Huffing a little, Saphira sat up and realized the autobots found her, though she didn't really know how.

"What are you doing?" Ratchet asked curiously with a raised eyebrow. "I have never seen anything like that before."

Saphira smiled at him, rolling her shoulders a little with a sigh. "I'm just doing yoga, it is a type of exercise I like to enjoy doing. Especially first thing in the morning." She looked past Ratchet to see Optimus, Ironhide and Bumblebee's vehicle forms next to the Hummer. "Let me guess, you all thought I was up to something again."

"Bee saw you sneaking out, so he followed you and alerted us." Ratchet looked up and smiled, he was impressed by the location because is was extremely peaceful and beautiful here. "I must say though, this location is impressive."

"That is why I come here." Saphira grunted as she stood up and picked up her yoga mat, rolling it up. "And even before I have breakfast." She glanced between the bots curiously for a moment. "Do you guys eat? Or…what do you ingest?"

"We do not require the same kind of food that you humans eat. But we need energon to survive." She looked at Ratchet curiously when he explained to her what they eat. "It is what we run on. It is our blood, without it, we would surely perish. However, we do need to ingest energon a couple times a week. It is not needed daily like humans."

That was interesting, that meant the fluid she saw flying from the bots' mouths when they were punched was energon. That made sense. Still, she did wonder how they would have energon if Earth did not have energon naturally. Maybe there was a way for them to produce it somehow, she didn't know.

"At least if I am sitting down eating and you have…uhhh…would it be cups of energon or something? Anyway, at least it won't feel awkward that you're not eating." Saphira smiled as she walked over to the car to put the yoga mat inside.

"Cubes of energon. That is what we use, not like the All Spark of course." Ratchet walked back towards the Hummer as he suspected Saphira planned on returning to the garage. "Are you heading back to the garage?"

"Of course, I am starving right now. I am going to make an omelette I think." Saphira chuckled a little as Ratchet makes a face on the name of the food and she stepped into the Chevelle and turned the key.

The roar of the engine filled her ears and she grinned as she listened to the motor. She turned the car around and waited for the autobots to drive back the way they came before she followed them along the dirt road. She hummed softly to herself again, she realized how strange it was for someone to come looking for her out of concern. It was rather strange to her. She did not know if she liked that or not, but the autobots seem genuinely concerned for her. She wondered how she was going to get to a race meet while they were around. She had no other job, and while she had six figures saved up, it wasn't going to last forever. Even if she had under two years before she turned eighteen and received her grandfather's inheritance, she still needed an income. This was going to be interesting she realized.

When they reached tarmac again, Saphira began to think on what to do during the week. With the autobots given a short time to spend with her, she had to figure something out regarding the race meets. They had some idea she raced cars for a living, they just did not know where and how. Which meant Saphira had to think of something. The autobots are not stupid though, she could easily go a week without attending the races, but she didn't know if she wanted to do that. It seemed in a sense the autobots were causing a nuisance at the moment. Not in a bad way though, but Saphira was not used to this much company either.

Arriving back at the garage, the autobots pull over to allow Saphira to park in the garage first before Bee and Ratchet pull in. She smiled, stepping out the car, glancing at Bee, Ratchet and Ironhide's holoforms stepping of their car forms. She glanced at Optimus and walked over to the Peterbilt, placing her hands on her hips as she looked up at him curiously.

"Are you gonna use your holoform Optimus?" Saphira asked curiously. "It feels strange to not involve you right now. I did say I want to spend time with you, remember?"

"I apologize Saphira. Now is just not the time to use my holoform." His response was odd through the speakers, she frowned a little because she did not quite understand. "Barricade was not in that battle. He is still around in the city."

Saphira had not realized Barricade wasn't part of the fight. "Oh, I never realized…or I was too busy running to even care to notice." Saphira definitely felt concerned that Barricade was hanging around, but he obviously wasn't stupid enough to get close to her with the autobots with her. "He's probably hanging around for me isn't he? Although, I thought my use to them was gone now the glasses are gone."

"It will most certainly be for petty revenge. Sometimes, decepticon motives are nothing more than that. I know this as Megatron has done that many times before too." Optimus paused for a few moments while Saphira processed the information. "He has already approached you twice Saphira. I have no doubt he will try again. He's probably waiting until it is just Bee."

"He beat the crap out of him before, so I am sure Bumblebee can do it again," Saphira responded, not feeling worried about Barricade with Bee around.

"Barricade is a good fighter Saphira," Bee said, stepping out of the garage. She turned to look at his holoform with a curious expression. "We are pretty evenly matched, but decepticons fight really dirty. I only got lucky at the wharf, mostly because he was distracted trying to get you for the glasses. Now…he will be more focused. That makes him more dangerous."

She shrugged and rolled her eyes. "Great. Another thing to worry about. And just when I was starting build a new routine." She turned away from Optimus and walked into the garage. "I better get food or I am going to be grumpy for the rest of the day."

"Hmmph, you should see Ironhide when he misses his energon cube," Ratchet said sarcastically, elbow Ironhide playfully and getting a glare for the warrior. "If you think he is grumpy now, just wait until then."

Saphira smirked slightly as she entered her small room, grabbing out a pan and bowl, she sprayed the pan first and placed it on the portable stove port. "I get it. Once he's had his energon, he is all good. I totally understand him." She opened her mini fridge to grab out a couple eggs, grated cheese and bacon slices. "Kind of like when we don't have coffee as well."

"I am not that bad," Ironhide said grumpily, folding his arms and looking away from Ratchet. "Optimus is worse when he's in a bad mood. And that is hardly ever, but when he is in one, it is just horrible."

"It must take a lot for someone as balanced as him to be put in a bad mood." Saphira smiled as she cracks the eggs into the bowl and began to whisk the eggs together. "I wish I had that kind of patience. It might make things a bit easier."

"Perhaps. But your fiery personality Saphira, that is still good." Ratchet walked over to the room and peered inside, glancing around at the small space with a frown. "This is so much smaller than the room you had at the house. Such a shame…"

"It isn't that bad. It's good for one person Ratchet. Besides, once I have dealt with that car, I'll probably look at some rentals." She added the cheese and bacon into the bowl next as she stirred. "I have somewhere to sleep, that is all I care about. I still haven't felt anywhere that feels like home just yet, so who knows, maybe I will soon."

Ratchet turned his head towards her with a sad expression. "Was it really that bad with your parents?"

She shrugs a little. "No, but…they didn't do the things that would have made me love them. I don't remember them hugging me, kissing my cheek, singing Happy Birthday or even care about my achievements…I stopped trying to be on their good side because they never were on mine. They bought stuff for me, that's it. That were not there for me when I needed them." She poured the omelette gently into the pan, the sound of hissing from the pan was music to her ears and Ratchet glanced at the pan curiously. "And I will be honest, when Bee hugged me last night, it felt alien to me."

"Really? Humans enjoy hugs. But I suppose if you have no memory of that, I guess that makes sense…" Ratchet rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he watched Saphira cook the omelette curiously. "It is still strange though."

"Meh, I'm used to it I guess. Maybe I will like hugs eventually…but I don't know. This is a weird topic to talk about. I'd rather talk about something else." Saphira flipped the omelette in the pan, smiling as she sniffed the aroma of the omelette.

"Are you gonna test drive that car again when you fix it Saphira?" Bee asked curiously, leaning into the doorway as he too was curious about her cooking the omelette. "Cause if you are, I want to know." The other autobots look at her, wondering that too.

Saphira rolled her eyes and looked up at them. "No, I have other plans for tonight Bee. Like more studying. However, if I was going to do it, I don't know why you are worried. I have done this for many years, I earn money with my skills. Plus, if Barricade chases me, for example, he probably will eat my dust."

"I suppose those skills are handy, but we worried you will hurt yourself. Optimus does not want you to that anymore." She rolled her eyes again, she was not going to listen to them even though she understood their concern. "Though I see right through you, punk, you might not be test driving tonight. You might end up doing racing instead."

"I don't know. Like I said, I have to study." Saphira lifts the pan and tilts it, sliding the omelette onto a plate. "By the way, I fell asleep at my desk last night. I wanted to thank whoever moved me to my bed. It was really thoughtful."

"I didn't do it, I was deep in recharge." Bumblebee turned his head, looking at the other too curiously. "Did one of you move her?"

"Nope, not me. Once the door came down, I was out like a light." Ironhide glanced towards the Peterbilt curiously and smirked. "Maybe Optimus did. He's a bit more attentive of that sort of thing than we are."

"But I never saw his holoform last night."

"Maybe not, but he might have come in for a walk when you fell asleep. That wouldn't be totally unusual." Ironhide shrugged, watching Saphira cut a piece of the omelette to eat. He watched her carefully and curiously. "Bumblebee told me humans eat so many different things. Why is that?"

Saphira blinked in surprise at the question. She wondered if the autobots were going to be asking questions like this since they were not used to being around humans. "Umm…because there are a lot of safe, edible things on the planet. I don't know…you guys only drink energon, we have to eat different things with different nutritional value in order to be healthy. Are you guys gonna be asking me this kind of stuff?"

"We know very little Saphira. We are simply curious and wanting to understand humans that is all. Besides…" Ratchet puffed out his chest slightly in pride with a smirk. "I will be learning about human medical while we are at the NEST base."

"NEST?"

"Ohh…I shouldn't have said that should I?" Ratchet grimaced as he realized he said something, but it was too late to go back on it now. "It is short for Non-Biological Extraterrestrials Species Treaty, it is something that your leaders came up with. There are bases specific for NEST operations, and the main base is where I am learning about medical for humans."

Saphira chewed on a piece of omelette thoughtfully before frowning. "There is one thing that is confusing me though…"

"What is that Saphira?" Bumblebee tilts his head slightly, curious to know what her question is.

"You are biological, aren't you? I mean, you are all clearly alive, and…I am not sure if you are born…but you are alive." Saphira felt very awkward saying this, but she wanted to have a clear answer since she thought the autobots were biological beings. "To me it just seems…strange that is all."

"We are definitely born Saphira, our species has several ways of reproduction. However, sadly, with the war we haven't seen sparklings for many years." Her eyes twitch a little when Ratchet spoke the word sparkling, and she realized it was what they call their offspring. Making Megatron's offer when he spoke to her on the roof even more disgusting. "And with that, autobots are unfortunately low in population. We hope that with Megatron now gone and his body in the deepest part of the Earth's ocean, we might be able to start rebuilding our numbers."

"Oh…that's why the femmes are coming right? It is a safe place to have more offspring." Saphira did wonder what their ways of reproduction was, she didn't know if it was like humans, or if there were other ways she could not think of.

"If they choose to bear sparklings, they will make that known. Arcee, Chromia and Moonracer are great warriors, I do not think they will want to slow down anytime soon. I don't blame them, the timing is still not right. We live much longer years than humans, so we are in no hurry." Saphira wondered then how old the autobots were since Ratchet let it be known they lived many years. They would have to calculate their ages in human years for her to understand though. "I myself will be looking forward to learning about human reproduction."

Just do not ask me about it.

"You really will have a lot to learn huh?" Saphira smirked at the autobots after swallowing another piece of omelette. "Just as we have a lot to learn about you. I wonder if my expertise in fix cars could be useful to help you when you get injured."

"That would be nice, but you leave it up to the professional. Meaning me." Ratchet points to himself with a big smile on his face. "But, I can always offer some of the basics if I am not around I suppose. That might make things easier for everyone."

Saphira chuckled softly, it was nice he cared deeply about his position. She did not blame him. She finished off her omelette and forced them out of her room to change into more appropriate attire to fix a car instead of the yoga pants she had on. Once done, she walked out into the garage and spent half of the day working on her car. She allowed the autobots to watch her and she explained to them what she was doing with the Nissan in order to make it safer to drive. She tried encouraging Optimus to join them with his holoform, but the commander was being stubborn. Not that it bothered her too much. She enjoyed spending time with the autobots, they kept asking questions about humans and eventually about the different animals on the planet. It was a little tiresome, but this world was alien to them just as much as they were alien to the planet. So it made sense.
