Saphira smiled as she gazed at the four bracelets she had made with the flowers on her arm. She also kept the necklace around her neck and she was now making a crown to place upon her head. She had offered to make something for Optimus, however he politely declined and he preferred watching Saphira's hands weaving the stems into something new. He had no idea it could be done this way and he watched as close as he could. Saphira found it amusing that he was intrigued by this, which was partly the reason why she had offered to make one for him.

"I suppose humans have been doing this with flowers for many years," Optimus said from where he was sitting as the sun slowly began to set and the sky turned an orange. "It is a skill that I do not have."

"Maybe I can teach you, but your current form definitely is not ideal," Saphira said casually with a smile. "Almost done…oh!" Her eyes glanced as a white butterfly fluttered towards her. Optimus leaned down a little as the tiny insect was extremely hard to see. "Hello, you are so pretty!"

Saphira offered her finger to the butterfly and it lands on it, moving its wings as it rests. "That looks extremely delicate. I have never seen a creature like that until now."

"They are delicate. They start out as caterpillars and eat so they grow big and fat to become a cocoon to transform into these beautiful butterflies. Unlike us though…" Saphira lifts her hand to look closer at the insect. "Once a butterfly, they only live for a week."

"Really?" Optimus was so shocked to hear that, he didn't know anything that had such a short lifespan. "That is so short…"

"Yeah…it is. But they breed in that time, and they pollinate the many plants like the flowers in the field, so they still have an important part to play." The butterfly flutters away from her finger and flew away to flower to drink from. "A lot of things are like that anyway."

Optimus observed the tiny creature, it fascinated him and he looked back at Saphira as she continued working on the crown as she was almost finished. "I agree. Everything, even the smallest, is important. I wish the decepticons felt that way. They believe that not everything should be able to live freely."

"That is a real shame. Were the decepticons always like that?" Saphira looked up at Optimus curiously and he shakes his head solemnly. "I guess something must have changed."

"It started a long time ago. Before my time, there were Seven Primes, they were the original leaders and they used to travel to different worlds to harvest energon. However, when they came here, one of them broke the rules because he despised the human race." She could not help but wonder what humans even did for the decepticons to hate the race so much. "Because of that, he became the original decepticon and his thirst for both blood and to keep Cybertron alive at all costs while being the ones to enslave the universe became the goal for the decepticons. Megatron was not always like that, in fact, he once fought along side me. He was deceived, I don't know by who though. I don't think it was by a decepticon."

Saphira shakes her head and finished the crown and placed it on her head, Optimus smiled slightly as the white petals stood out on her black hair. "So…because someone hates the human race, the decepticons came to be. That sounds kind of…strange to me. But if a human did something to piss one of the first Primes off, then I guess I understand."

"I do not know the full story, I just know part of it." Optimus shrugged slightly. "That crown you made is very pretty Saphira. It suits you, the white really stands out."

"Thanks Optimus. Are you sure you don't want me to make you at least a bracelet?" Saphira adjusted the crown a bit as she spoke. "They won't last forever now they are out of the ground, so it's not like you will have it all the time."

"No thanks Saphira, I really do appreciate the offer, but I do not think it is necessary." She shrugged and moved to stand from the grass, Optimus moves his hand out and she takes it to help her stand. She arched her back with a sigh, looking around at the beautiful field. "You have school tomorrow right?"

She shrugged. "Yeah, sadly."

"Would you like me to take you to and from school?" She looked up at him in surprise at the offer. "Although, I have no idea where your school is, you are going to have to guide me on the coordinates."

She chuckled at him because she did not think it was necessary. "That is real nice of you Optimus. That reminds me…" She glanced at her watch and realized what time it was. "Oh shoot! I better get to the grocery store."

Optimus did not know what that meant, but he transformed into his alternate form and opened the cab door for Saphira. "Shall I take you there?"

"I didn't bring my bag Prime." She climbed up into the cab to take a seat. "Take me back to the garage, I'll grab my bag there so I can buy some food. I won't need much, but I am getting a bit low on some things."

"Very well." Optimus turned away from the pond to drive up the hill. As he did so, he nearly came to a stop as butterflies suddenly flutter all around them as the engine and sound of the wheels startled them. "Oh! Now this is fascinating."

Saphira stared out the window as the insects flutter around them, it was a sight to behold, and she felt extremely privileged to see it. It was so beautiful, and especially with the sun setting it just felt…well…romantic. She felt her cheeks heat up as she thought about that before she shakes her head and relaxed in the seat. When the insects were high enough, Optimus began to roll again to return to the garage.

"Will the store be closed by the time we get back?" Optimus asked curiously, worried that he would make Saphira late on getting groceries.

She shakes her head with a smile. "Nah, we are in a big, busy city. Stores don't close until late. Some are open all day, everyday."

"If that is the case, then I don't know why there was any reason to worry."

"Maybe to you, but I want to get it done before night. A young girl like me going into a store late at night can be seen as trouble. Plus, some people might try to do something." She knew it might not happen to her, but Saphira was cautious in a big city like this. "Which is why I go to buy food when the sun is high."

Optimus seemed to understand that, although that just made him want to go with her to the store or send one of the autobots to go with her so she would be safe. His time with her might have been pretty simple, but Optimus found he really enjoyed it. Just spending time with her, talking and watching her create the floral jewellery that she was still wearing was really nice and calming. He might prefer these kind of activities over watching her fix the cars in her garage. It was nice to watch her work on them, but Optimus definitely preferred the one-on-one time with her. And he intended on trying to do that each day of the week, even though her time will be eaten up with school.

"Now I just gotta think what to do with everyone after school each day this week," Saphira said thoughtfully as she rests her elbow on the door and looked out of the window, watching the world go by as Optimus drives along the road. "Go back to the field together is a great idea, but I doubt the others would want to do that everyday."

"I would. I really enjoyed spending time with you, even if it was just small, simple things." She smiled as Optimus really didn't do much but watch her and speak to her, but that was okay, she enjoyed spending time with him too. "Next time you could swim in the pond."

"Why just me? It is more fun doing things together…but anyway, I will figure something out." Saphira hummed thoughtfully before she jumped as she spotted a familiar mustang cop as they pass a street. "Sheesh, he had to be hanging around."

"Hmm?"

"You didn't see that did you?" Saphira questioned and when Optimus made not reply, she simply assumed it was a no. "Never mind. I just thought I saw Barricade in a street we went by. I could be mistaken though. The car was parked anyway, so it could have been a random cop car."

"Perhaps. I also do not detect his presence, so it could have most definitely been a regular car. However, I will be on high alert just in case it is Barricade and he tried to do something." Optimus would most definitely be able to kill Barricade if he got his hands on him, so she doubted Barricade would even try anything.

But that didn't mean that Saphira was not on edge because of it. She did not want the idea of a decepticon stalking her while the autobots were not here. However, that is what seemed to be happening. She definitely did not like it, if they weren't into petty revenge she probably would be safe. At least Barricade should be easy to spot if he hasn't decided to change his alternate form design.

Optimus turned onto the street to the garage and Saphira smiled, wincing slightly with the glare of the sun in her eyes. "At least I don't need much since I only have a small space for the kitchen."

"So what exactly do you need from the grocery stores?" He asked curiously, even though Optimus was not familiar with any of the food items humans eat.

"I need more eggs, milk, bread and I wouldn't mind getting a pancake mix, so not a huge shopping list. But it is necessary of course." She smiled as Optimus turned into the driveway and opened the door for her to get out. "Alright, I will go and get my bag."

"Bag? Where are you going?" Bee asked curiously as he, Ratchet and Ironhide were sitting on chairs next to each other and talking…well, Ironhide wasn't. There was a chair that appeared to have been sat on, it was flat on the floor at the moment. "Did you and Optimus have a good afternoon together?"

"Yes we did, I just need to buy some food." Saphira walked into the small room to grab her purse and checked the fridge, freezer and cupboards to make a mental note of what she needs. "Hmm, not a lot though."

"I suppose Optimus will be accompanying you?" Ratchet asked as he had followed Saphira to the small room and peered through the door to watch her.

"Umm…actually I was thinking Ironhide could come with me. I think having a custom Peterbilt in the parking lot would draw too much attention compared to the GMC." Saphira smiled as she stepped out of the room and looked at a surprised Ironhide. "Don't worry, I am not going to take up so much time. You can walk in with me as your holoform if you wish."

"Pah! Nah, I'd rather just wait for you. It sounds a little too boring anyway punk!" Ironhide placed his hands on his hips with a roll of his eyes. "Anyway, I guess I better get you there. You'll just have to tell me where to go, I don't know this city."

"That is okay." Saphira walked towards the GMC with a smile and glanced at Optimus. "Sorry, I will be back soon."

"I will come with you and Ironhide," Came the response through Optimus's speakers. "Saphira saw a car resembling Barricade, I feel it is just a precaution just to come with you."

"As you wish boss," Ironhide said, stepping closer to the vehicle to meld his holoform into it. Saphira opened the door and stepped inside. "Alright punk, just don't wiggle around too much, okay?"

She chuckled as she closed the door and heard the truck engine starting. "I will try not to. Alright, the store I will need to go to is a couple blocks away. Back onto the road and go right."

Ironhide does not respond as he backs onto the road and turning right as she instructed. Optimus followed and stayed close behind them as they drove through the streets. Saphira guided Ironhide to the Walmart that she goes to regularly for her shopping. Ironhide and Optimus had a hard time finding a parking space for them both to park in, but they did eventually and she stepped out of the car with her bag.

"Alright, since you both intend on staying out here, just please wait until I come out. You'll draw too much attention." Saphira closed the door and walked away with a huff, glancing around for any sign of Barricade.

So far, she saw nothing and that was good. She approached the store and grabbed a shopping cart to use. She hummed to herself as she walked through the store, looking at the items she needed to buy, first stopping by the bread aisle to grab a loaf and continue walking through the store. As she walked through the store, Saphira spotted a really cute hairclip. It had a white flower on it and the clip itself was the colour of rose gold. She smiled and decided to grab it as it was a very pretty colour and it reminded her of the wildflowers in the field so she figured she should get something she could wear in her hair each day.

After purchasing the items she needed, she was about to leave the store when she spotted someone familiar. A man with a rectangular face, long, black hair pulled back into a ponytail, glowing red eyes and broad, muscular shoulders and body was leaning against the wall watching her silently. He was not wearing a cop uniform, but he was wearing black pants and a black singlet, she was able to see his abs. She tensed and glared at him, she attempted to walk past him as she wanted no trouble.

"Aw, come on. Are you not even going to say hello?" He said in a slightly, taunting tone. She ignored him and kept walking. "Whatever." He began to follow her out of the store, making Saphira tense even more and get nervous. "Listen, I wanted to talk to you."

"What is there to talk about, Barricade?" She responded with a sneer. "I want no trouble. Do you understand that?"

"I am not looking for trouble. Now that my master is gone, I don't have any strings holding me back." She did not like the sound of that, so she kept walking. She heard Barricade huffing in annoyance. "Will you please stop so I can talk to you? You're really annoying me!"

"So why don't you chase me with your guns drawn huh?" Saphira taunts, glancing over her shoulder to glare at him. "You know Ironhide and Optimus are here in the lot, they will kill you."

Barricade clenched his fists and rolled his eyes. "I didn't even want to attack you like that in the first place! I was forced to that! Megatron, the Fallen…we are all here to try and repair Cybertron!"

She paused at that and looked at him with a curious frown. "What do you mean? You were here for the Cube."

"The Cube was not the only reason why we came to Earth. There is another reason, Megatron made a deal with an autobot to meet him on this planet but they both failed." Barricade glanced around as he was weary of other humans listening and stepped closer to Saphira. "Optimus only knows a small amount of what is going on."

She looked at him curiously as she processed what he was saying. "You could tell him."

"He would kill me as soon as he sees me Saphira. I am sure he already hinted at that." Barricade was not wrong, but she failed to understand why Barricade was even telling her this. He even seemed…nice? "I know you have no reason to trust. I did chase you after all."

"You also hit me!" Saphira snapped back with a glare. "Look, I don't know why you're telling me this so suddenly Barricade. As far as I know, we are enemies!"

His eyes soften slightly, the deep red seem to change to a rosy colour. "Maybe because…something about you interests me. I am not sure…but you seem to be very special."

She blinked for a moment before she turned away from him with a huff. "How about you go bother some other human about your confusion Barricade? I might just let the autobots know you were loitering by the door and have them hunt you down."

Barricade said nothing and he watched her walk away from him. Saphira glanced over her shoulder with a frown, she saw him walk away towards the far end of the lot. She rolled her eyes and realized he knew Optimus and Ironhide were there, he simply parked far enough so they won't notice him. However…the information he slipped to her sounded important. Plus, him being nice all of a sudden…she did not understand. However, it seemed he might be attracted to her, at least that is what she got based on what he said. She shuddered at that thought.

She approached the GMC with a scowl on her face. "Did something bad happen to make you make a face like that?" Ironhide asked through the speakers as Saphira opened the back doors to place the bags inside. "Oh, make sure they don't spill punk!"

"As long as you are not turning too sharply they will be fine," Saphira responded calmly with a smile. "And don't worry too much. Just some idiot in the store that made me want to rip out my hair. It happens sometimes."

"Ripping out hair sounds painful…anyway, I hope you got what you need." She nodded and rolled the cart away to a cart bay and push it into it. She walked back to Ironhide and climbed into the cab to relax in the seat. "Back to the garage?"

"Yeah. At least when you guys get to come back from your work with the military, I'll probably be in a new house. Well, a rented house, but a new house nonetheless." Saphira smiled at that thought, she probably will have a new rented house in a couple weeks. "Just a couple more years before I turn eighteen…"

"What's so special about that age?" Ironhide asked curiously as he drives out of the lot with Optimus behind him.

She shrugged, she knew it might not mean anything to the autobot when he knows. "Well…I will be able to inherit my grandfather's wealth and real estate when I turn eighteen."

"How does that work exactly? Wouldn't your parents get that? Or…I don't understand!" She smirked slightly at Ironhide's attempt to understand inheritance. "Is that why you're just renting?"

"In a sense, yeah. Because I know I will have houses to call home. And the reason why I am getting the wealth and houses, that is because before he died, he wrote a will stating that once I turn eighteen I shall receive everything he's owned. It's something we do here on Earth, and it is a way to ensure that the child or grandchild is set for life without having to worry." She looked out the window, the sky had darkened and there was just a glimpse of orange in the sky and the streets were lit with the lights of the cars and streetlights. "Lisa and Michael were furious when they found out. They probably will try to contest the will, but they can't because it is legal. They get nothing."

"That actually makes sense, and a good thing you humans do. I suppose your grandfather loved you very much didn't he?"

"He was the only one who did. I actually felt at home at his house before he died." She smiled as she remembers her time with her grandfather. "However, he told me I would also burden something he's carried in secret for years. I don't know what that is, I've tried getting him to tell me. But I will find out."

"Fascinating…well, I guess we will be in a bigger house in a couple years. I look forward to it, punk."

Saphira doubted it really meant much to Ironhide. She herself didn't care about the money, but it was nice her grandfather left her something that would carry her throughout her life. She had an idea of how much he had, so there was no need to boast about it. Living a normal life was just fine for her anyway. She knew she probably would spend most of her time on the farm her grandfather owned. It was eighty acres with a two-story house with a basement. It was a nice place, only thing she hated was a witch statue at the entrance. Still, it was the place she would likely live in when she receives the inheritance.

But that was not what was on her mind right now. Barricade's words were still repeating themselves in her mind. Why did he tell her? Was there something worse coming? And the Cube was only partly the reason why they were here? It really was doing her head in, she was sure she would go mad with all this additional information. She didn't know how she could tell Optimus without revealing Barricade spoke to her at Walmart. The autobots probably would get mad about that. But, she was not hurt. And that was the most confusing part, and she didn't even know what she did for the decepticon to express that he was attracted to her. That was the scariest part in her mind.
