Saphira was very grateful that Simmons suggested stopping at a gas station. She honestly had not felt like eating, she hasn't eaten for many hours. Bee had been worried about that since seeing her refusing to eat wasn't good for her health. He understood it was the grief that was gripping her regarding Optimus, but when Simmons offered to get her food even though he knew she had no money, it was good. She realized she was hungry after stopping at a gas station and grabbing a burrito, several packs of chips, water and soda, it felt good to fill her stomach with something. Even though she almost didn't want to eat the entire burrito.

She stared out the window as the autobots drive towards Washington, they were at least fifteen minutes away from the city at the moment and she was thinking all sorts of things. She worried that the Seeker would not help them when they come to him to ask for it. She also was annoyed at Simmons, he had been ranting on and on how he was doing this to save this world and his country, and that he might get his position back with the government. It was so annoying that Bee forced the man to go with Barricade, which apparently shut him up. Barricade had less patience, so it made sense.

Bee could sense Saphira's worry, she turned her head when she heard the radio begin to play Get Ready for This, she was surprised by the song. "We will be okay, we will win." She smiled at him and hummed along to the tune of the song. "You don't need to worry."

"It is reasonable to worry, Bumblebee, we don't even know if this Seeker will help us." Saphira turned her head to look out of the window again. "Hopefully that little scrap bot wasn't lying."

"I'll be more than happy to squash him," Bumblebee said, making her roll her eyes as she knew that he would do it. "I can hear the muttering, he's not happy at all."

"Well, if he decides to change sides too, I doubt it will be a problem. He doesn't seem dangerous anyway, his bark is worse than his bite." Saphira did wonder what the bot's name was, but that was the least of her concern. She rubbed her head with a grimace. "These clips are starting to hurt my head."

"You must remain concealed," Bee said to her. "Better than being handed over and dying in vain."

She knew that. She had every reason to be uncomfortable though. She figured she would remove the wig once they were somewhere with no cameras. Or at least, when it came to night of course. Saphira didn't want to wear it all the time. She looked ahead as they arrived at the city, she wondered how far they were from the museum. She glanced to her left as Barricade drove ahead of Bee.

"I guess Simmons is leading Barricade to the museum, right?" Saphira asked curiously.

"Yep."

Saphira figured that was the case. She didn't know where it was, but she assumed Simmons had something with him like a map or GPS to lead Barricade to the museum. She did ponder about the museum though. The fact it had areas about space, it made her sad she might not be able to continue her astronomy course at Princeton. Maybe she could convince them to give her another chance, especially with her credentials with working with the government.

She sighed softly as she thought about it. "You know, even if we beat this Fallen and Megatron this time…I can't help but wonder what my life will be now. After my freak out in my first day of class…I don't know if Princeton will let me back…or any college really. I know it wasn't my fault…but I still feel like I blew it."

"Your life isn't over, it is still growing and learning," Bumblebee responded, he was a little troubled by Saphira's words. "You don't need college to be successful. There are so many stories about humans succeeding without it. Plus, you get your inheritance."

"Yeah…that is true…" Saphira still was unsure. She had plans to work with a successful company, even if she still had connections with the autobots. Still, it seemed like it wasn't going to happen. "Just feels like a waste of time I had when I went to Princeton."

"It just revealed our enemy's intentions."

That was true, but that still didn't mean Saphira felt like it was a waste of her time. She also felt sad that she might be missing out on something she was passionate about. Nonetheless, it wasn't the end of the world. Well, not in that aspect. If they couldn't stop Fallen and Megatron, that was another story. Still, at least they were not going to give up. Not so easily anyway. She gazed out the window, it was the afternoon and it would be sunset soon. She hoped the museum would not be closed when they arrived.

"Hopefully I'll be able to even sleep peacefully tonight," Saphira said softly. "If we can get the information we need." She grimaced and moved her hands to her head as she began seeing the symbols again. "Grr…GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Bee was a little startled by her screaming, but the tears rolling down her cheeks showed her distress. "Why did this happen to me? Why did he have to die? I wish it didn't have to happen."

Bumblebee wanted to be able to comfort her, but he did not know what to say. He fished for something before playing it on the radio. "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide." Saphira looked at the dash in surprise as she heard the familiar voice. "All you have to decide, is what to do with the time that is given to you."

She wipes away her tears with a chuckle. "Trust you to find a Lord of the Rings quote."

"You love that movie," Bumblebee teased through the radio. "I watched it with you like ten times…maybe more."

"I know." Saphira shakes her head with a roll of her eyes. "That makes me feel a little better. I guess I can always count on you to find a Gandalf quote."

"Maybe that is why you enjoyed the simple things too." She rolled her eyes again, she knew he was talking about the Hobbit. "Well, I am glad it worked."

"Of course it worked. It gets me everytime I hear it." She giggled at him. "I hope we are not far from the museum."

"We shouldn't be." Bee knew that if Simmons took them for a ride, they wouldn't miss him since Barricade will do something to him.

Saphira hoped for that. She was starting to feel impatient. She did wish she had the necklace Optimus got for her on right now. She had it in her bag as she wasn't leaving something that expensive behind. Plus, it meant more to her than any kind of diamond or gemstone. She looked at her bag and grabbed out the photo frame with Optimus's picture, she stared at it sadly. She was at least glad to have something that would remind her what he looked like.

"We're here," Bumblebee announced, Saphira looked up with a gasp as she was not expecting it and placed the picture into the bag.

She smiled as she looked at the large museum. She did wish she could spend time here, looking around and admiring the history here. But she could not. There was a transformer in there. She stepped out of the Camaro, she gasped as she felt the cooler air and grabbed her jacket to slip on. Seymour was smiling as he stepped out of the Challenger, admiring the building. He pulls out a pair of binoculars, she looked at him with a raised eyebrow as to her that looks more suspicious.

"Smithsonian Air and Space Museum," Simmons said in a soft tone, admiring the building. "Land of dreams in there. All I ever wanted was to be an astronaut." Saphira was surprised by the admission, but said nothing. He turned towards her with a smile. "I guess now we need to make a plan."

"I hope it is good, the museum is about to close," Saphira said, gesturing to her watch on her wrist. "So you better…" She shrieked in surprise and turned away from Simmons when he suddenly tore his jeans off. "What the hell?!"

"Hold these." She felt him shoving the torn jeans into her palm, she grimaced and tossed it to the ground. "Oh, that's just great. You were meant to hold them, not throw them to the ground."

Saphira shuddered and walked away from him with her arms folded. "You were meant to keep them on. I did not need to see that!"

Simmons chuckled softly. "I am sure it is nothing you haven't seen before." She ignored him and kept her eyes averted from him. "I mean, you and the big guy must have had the time of your lives before all of this."

She turned her head and glared at him, he had a new pair of pants on and he was about to change into a new shirt. "Dumbass, I was still finishing high school. Optimus was out doing work with the military. I have no idea what makes you think we even had a relationship."

The man shrugs, pulling off his shirt. "Hmm, well considering Optimus seemed to be fixated on you the last time I remember…"

"He was trying to protect me from assholes like you," Saphira interrupts with a sigh. "Is this going to be like a kid's tussle or something?"

The man chuckled softly at her. "Sure it was…that's probably why this guy is here." He points to Barricade before the door suddenly swings open, hitting him in the backside and causing him to faceplant into the ground. Simmons cried out in pain and grimaced, glaring up at Barricade. "OW! That hurt!"

"You're an idiot," Barricade said through the speakers. "Your implications are nothing short of inappropriate. I would love to pull your limbs off, but you're a useful idiot right now. Get your clothes sorted and get inside!"

Bee and the twins chuckle, as did Saphira. Simmons seemed to be flustered and humiliated by that, but he just stood up and slipped his need shirt on with a huff. "Fine. I get it. I won't say anything else."

Saphira walked over to Bee and opened the trunk, pulling the box out. "This guy might still be useful."

"Here's the shard." Saphira was startled when Barricade arm extends from the side of the car, showing the cannister in his palm. "You might need it to locate the Seeker, and wake him up."

Saphira grabbed it carefully and slipped it into her jacket pocket. "Thanks, Barricade. You guys stay out here and keep watch. If you happen to see a transformer walking out of the building, you have permission to approach."

"Understood." The autobots and Barricade say in unison, making her grin.

She turned to Simmons as he fixed up his jacket. "So, what is the plan?"

"Synchronize watches, empty the bladder at the public restroom and hideout until the place is closed," Simmons said as he gazed at his watch and approached the entry to the building. "I'll pay for the both of us to get in, so don't you worry about that. You get caught, demand an attorney and don't ever say my name." He grabbed out a pill container, giving it to her and Saphira looked at it suspicious. "Take one of these pills, slip it under your tongue. It's the high-concentrate polymer they put in Oreo cookies. Tricks the polygraph everytime. Let's get this show on the road."

Saphira was surprised when she saw him test out a taser as they approach the museum. She acts like she didn't see it though as he hides it and they enter the museum. They act like they are all happy, the workers let them know they would be closing soon and the two of them act like they understand. They make use of the bathroom and enter the museum, searching for somewhere to hide. Saphira was able to pass off the metal box as a container full of camera gear, the staff seemed to buy it which was amusing.

She kept an eye on the time, they had at least an hour before the place closed, so they had to find somewhere to hide. Simmons advised for her to hide and he would make it seem like they leave so the security don't suspect anything. She didn't know what he would do to remain in the building, but she decided that if he got caught, it was his fault. She made her way into the large hangar where there were dozens of aircraft, she looked around and approached a jet. She saw no one in the area and she tugged on the cover that seemed like a vent or empty engine port of the side of the jet, she pushed the box inside and pulled herself inside, closing it to hide within it. She didn't close it all the way and kept a close eye on her watch.

Eventually, the hour passes, and she pushed the door back open, jumping out and grabbing the box. She saw Simmons running towards her wearing a different jacket, she rolled her eyes, not wanting to know the reason and opened the box. The bot squealed and sat up, looking at her fearfully. "Are you gonna run off if I let you off?"

"I wouldn't get very far if I did," He responded, jumping out of the box. "He points to the pocket in her shirt. "Use the shard to detect the Seeker. It will lead you to him."

She pulled out the cannister. "I'll need something to hold it…" She glanced around for something. She heard the scrap bot roll away and she was about to snap when she saw him rolling over to a tool box that had been left on the floor and grabbed out a pair of pliers. "Oh, that will work."

The bot smiled at her as he brought it to her. "Is the chain really necessary now?" He held it as she was about to open the cannister. "You can't keep me on a leash and look for the Seeker at the same time, warrior goddess."

She hesitated, but she removed the chain and opened the cannister. "You had better be right about this." The bot said nothing as she used the pliers to carefully pull out the shard. "Alright…" She looked over to Simmons, he pulls out something from his bag. "What is that Simmons?"

"Energon detector," Simmons responded. "You use that, I'll use this. But we must hurry, I downed five security guards."

Oh, that was just fantastic!

The bot transformed into a toy monster truck, making Saphira chuckle as she began to run around with Simmons, pointing the shard in every direction to try and locate the transformer. She was a little upset Simmons had something that might detect the bot sooner, but she hoped the shard will find something. The scrap bot follows them as they run through the hangar, aiming at every aircraft they pass by. The transformer could be any of the aircraft, and it could also be outside where the other aircraft were on the airstrip.

However, she noticed Simmons frowning when he aimed his detector in one direction. "I think I got something," He said, following the signal from the detector.

Saphira followed him briskly, though as Simmons began to jog, she began to jog. She wanted to know what the bot's alt form looked like. She spotted a Lockhead SR-71 Blackbird, an old fighter, the sheer size of the aircraft seemed to suggest this bot was as big as Optimus. Saphira looked at the aircraft as she ran towards the front of the aircraft. The scrap bot followed them as they come to a stop. The shard itself began to vibrate and hum softly, which gave away this was indeed the bot they were looking for.

"You got what I got?" Simmons asked, glancing at Saphira as she nodded. He smiled and looked at the aircraft with wide eyes. "Blackbird."

The scrap bot transforms and gazed up at the aircraft with a smile. "Ah, and there he is. This guy's a legend, like the Chairman of the Board." He gestured for Saphira to get closer to the bot. "Yo, sweetheart, point the shard and watch the magic happen."

Saphira nodded, getting under the barriers surrounding the aircraft and holding the shard up to the Blackbird. The pliers vibrated as the shard was attracted to this bot like a magnet. She couldn't hang onto it for very long, she lets it go and watched it hit the Blackbird's nose. It gave an energon pulse and she felt the heat coming from the aircraft as it woke up. She ran underneath it to see the badge.

"Oh shit!" She cursed loudly when she saw the badge. "It's a decepticon!" She glared at the bot as it turned back into the small, toy car. "You never said this was a decepticon!"

"Behind the MiG now!" Simmons cried out as they hear the sound of gears whirling and gears turning on within the decepticon.

Saphira ran to jump over the barrier, she glanced back as the jet began to transform, it was somewhat slow and struggled and parts of the decepticon fell from his body. She heard him groaning and hold himself up with his hands, Saphira stopped as he coughed loudly. There were energon leaks and his helmet covered his eyes.

"Saphira!" Simmons yelled from where he was hiding from behind a jet tyre. She glanced at him, he gestured for her to come over. "Hide here! Me and Scrappy here are safe."

"That's not even my name!" The bot hissed as he transformed, looking up at the bot with wide eyes. "I didn't expect him to be this big."

"What sort of hideous mausoleum is this?" The decepticon snarled, looking around in disgust and gazing down at Saphira. She looked up at him nervously, stepping back as he pushed away a yellow plane hanging from the ceiling. "Answer me, pawns and knaves!" He narrowed his eyes at her. "Tell those wimps to show themselves, or suffer my infinite wrath!" Saphira gestured for Saphira and the scrap bot approach slowly. "You little spinal-cord base organisms…" An engine part swinging from the roof hits the bot in the side of the face. "Bugger it! Young lady, behold the eternal glory of Jetfire." He glanced towards the hangar doors in irritation. "Prepare for remote systems override."

The scrap bot trembled as he looked at Jetfire in shock. "I tell you, this guy did not age well."

"Jetfire, wait!" Saphira called out to him, running after him as the bot walked towards the doors. "Don't rush out!"

She gasped when she felt Simmons grab her arm and made her turn to face him. "Are you seriously going to chase that decepticon?!"

"If he wanted to hurt us, he would have done it," Saphira said with a frown. "He's a little grumpy from his long nap, that is all."

"I command these doors to open!" Jetfire ordered loudly as he stood in front of the doors. "Fire!" He glanced around with a glare before punching the doors. "I said, fire!" He ducked when a missile launched from his elbow. He glanced back in shock as it hits another hanging plane and smashed the doors open. "Oh, bollocks! Damn these worthless parts!"

Saphira, Simmons and the bot run after Jetfire, while also wanting to avoid the debris that was caused by the missile. It wasn't a huge explosion, but it would certainly get attention. She was sure the autobots had seen Jetfire and were on their way. They run out of the hanger onto the airstrip, the old bot was slow and used a metal, walking stick.

"Jetfire, wait please!" Saphira yelled to him, though the old bot didn't seem to hear. She heard engines approaching and turned her head to see the autobots and Barricade approaching. "Don't attack him! He's…uh…a little senile!"

Simmons chuckled a little, though he said nothing as they run after Jetfire. She glanced up at the bot, he was losing parts from him and he was definitely grumpy. "Itchy, wretched rust my arse!" Jetfire cursed loudly as he walked between large, air force planes.

"The museum is gonna be very angry," Simmons said as they run towards him.

She rolled her eyes, glancing up at Jetfire as they get closer to him. "Right, I'm on a mission," Jetfire said as he looked around. He noticed the autobots approaching, but seemed not concerned about them. He turned his gaze towards Saphira as she approached with her hands up to stop him. "What do you want, young lady?"

"I just want to talk," Saphira responded to him calmly. "I need to ask…"

"I have no time for talk!" Jetfire interrupts in a very irritated voice. "I'm on a mission. I'm a mercenary doom-bringer. What planet am I on?" He lowered his head slightly as she looked at him in surprise. "Don't act surprised, I asked you a question."

Saphira shrugged a little and responded to him. "Earth."

"Earth?" Jetfire seemed very surprised by the name and huffed a slight laugh. "Terrible name for a planet. Might as well call it 'Dirt', Planet 'Dirt'." Saphira couldn't help but chuckle slightly at him, making him narrow his eyes. "What's so funny?"

"You're not entirely wrong on that," She said with a smile.

Jetfire smiled slightly as he realized she thought what he said was funny. "Tell me, is that robot civil war still going on?" He glanced at the alt forms sitting nearby for a moment before glancing back at Saphira. "Who's winning?"

"The decepticons."

Jetfire rolled his eyes and spat at the ground when Saphira answered. "Well, I changed sides to the autobots."

"What do you mean, changed sides?" Saphira asked curiously, glancing back at Barricade for a moment.

"It's a choice. It's an intensely personal decision. So much negativity." Jetfire shakes his head, seemingly ashamed of what he has done as a decepticon. "Who wants to live a life filled with hate?"

"That's precisely why I chose to change sides too," Barricade said through the speakers, catching Jetfire's surprised expression. "Nice to know old timers like you had done it long before me."

Jetfire smiled, resting his hands on his walking stick seemingly happy to hear that. "Nice to know a youngling is doing the right thing. After all, much better than being angry and yelled at all the time."

"You mean you don't have to work for those miserable decepticons?!" The scrap bot exclaimed, seeming happy about that.

"If decepticons had their way, they'd destroy the whole universe," Jetfire explained, glancing down at the scrap bot. "Hmmph, and scrap bots like yourself will receive a lot more respect. Tiny bots are more useful than one believes."

Saphira felt the tiny hands of the scrap bot grab her ankle as he dropped down, grovelling at her feet. "I'm changing sides too, warrior goddess. I am sorry for scaring you and trying to threaten you. I didn't mean nothin' about it." She smiled at him as he gazed up at her. "My name's Wheelie." He hugged her calf and she was surprised when he began humping her. "Who's your little autobot?"

"Ew, get off!" Saphira kicks the bot off her leg. "None of that please." She shuddered at that, Wheelie looked at her in shock before he yelped from a rev from Barricade. "Chill out, Barricade. He won't do anything." She looked up at Jetfire with a smile. "What were you saying?"

Jetfire lowered his head suddenly with a glare. "I told you my name was Jetfire!" She yelped from the ferocity of his voice as she wasn't expecting it. "So stop judging me!" Saphira stepped back a little worried he would do something accidentally. "I have issues of my own. And it started with my mother!" She blinked in surprise, she didn't realize they had parents. She wondered if Optimus's parents were still alive, that would be interesting to know. "My ancestors have been here for centuries. My father, he was a wheel, the first wheel. Do you know what he transformed into?" She and Simmons shake their heads silently. "Nothing! But he did so with dignity damnit!" There was sudden sound of pressure building within him and sounded like a gas cannister broke, making it seem like he farted as a parachute launches out from his aft and causes Jetfire to fall backwards. "Bollocks!"

Saphira ran towards Jetfire with concern. "Are you okay?"

He sat up and looked at her in surprise when she asked the question. "Since when did you fleshlings ever worry about me, huh? The last one to ever ask me that was a long time ago. A young fello in England, and a young man…" He paused as he gazed at Saphira. "What's your name?"

Saphira blinked in surprise. "Uhh…Saphira Dawn?" She was very uncertain as to why he asked that question.

Jetfire widened his eyes and bowed his head slightly. "It is a pleasure to meet another Dawn…"

"What do you mean, another Dawn?" Saphira asked with a frown. The decepticon looked at her in surprise. "Are you talking about my grandfather?"

Simmons glanced between Jetfire and Saphira in surprise, this bot might have known someone in Saphira's past. She had absolutely no idea. Jetfire seemed to realize this, and blinked, glancing away from her for a moment. She frowned at him, hoping he would not avoid her question.

"Everett Dawn…" She widened her eyes upon hearing that name. "Yes, I knew him. He was a good man, a great warrior. I knew him. I never dreamed I would lay my eyes upon his granddaughter. One who would share a near spitting image of his wife. Oh, she was a beauty!"

"Your grandfather had something to do with transformers?" Simmons asked curiously as he looked at Saphira.

She shrugged. "I guess he did. He did tell me about a responsibility I had waiting for me when I turn eighteen…um…a secret he kept quiet…it could have been that."

Jetfire hummed, groaning as he shifted his body. "I suppose I brought premature news for ya, hmm." She smiled slightly at him, and he groaned a little. "Grr, my boosters are fried!" He shakes his head and looked at Saphira curiously. "If you have not come to me because of Everett…why did you come?"

She smiled at him. "Um…I am seeing…symbols in my head. Similar to what happened to Captain Witwicky…" Jetfire's face twitches slightly at the man's name. "When he went to the Arctic. Um…" She glanced around and looked at Simmons. "Do you have a knife or something I can draw the symbols in the ground with?" He looked at her with a curious expression. He pulled out a large knife. "Here, knock yourself out."

Saphira grabbed the weapon and began to draw out the symbols. Jetfire watched her with sincere curiosity, moving to stand on his feet and gazed down at the symbols. She felt his optics following her as she drew the symbols, Seymour stood with his arms folded waiting for her to give him the knife back.

"I could do this all day," Saphira explained as she completed the last symbol. She glanced up at Jetfire and hands Simmons his knife back. "It comes in waves, these vivid symbols. They're symbols, but they're in my mind. You see, all of this is in my mind, and Megatron wants what's in my mind. Him and someone called the Fallen."

"The Fallen?!" Jetfire snapped back in surprise upon hearing his name. "I know him. He left me here to rust, the original decepticon." That didn't sound good at all. The autobots roll closer to gaze at the symbols on the ground while Jetfire spoke. "He's terrible to work for, it's always apocalypes, chaos, crisis. I guess that comes from the Deceiver who he listens to." Deceiver?! That meant there was another transformer behind the Fallena as well. "These transcriptions, they were part of my mission, the Fallen's search…" Saphira smiled, glancing down at them as Jetfire spoke about them. "I remember now, for the Dagger's Tip and the key."

Saphira looked up at him with a frown, he shifted closer to them making her a little nervous. "Slow down, the Dagger's Tip? The key? What are you talking about?"

"No time to explain…" Jetfire crouched down slightly over everyone, including the autobots. Saphira and Simmons raise their hands nervously to try and stop him. "Hold on, everybody. Stay still, or you'll die!"

Saphira felt Simmons grab onto her as Jetfire began to generate a pulse all around them. She heard the sound of something charging, she covered her head and glance at the autobots with wide eyes. Wheelie grabbed her leg as she felt the pulse around her, the static was quickly making her wig and hair stand in response. Though with a bright flash and the feeling of her body being forced through some kind of vortex, she screamed as she was suddenly launched into the air and landing on a sandy hill.
