Chapter Six….

Halloween 1981

"James?" A voice called from the upper floor, distinctive by it pleasantness and feminity.

"Yes, love?" James Potter, prankster extraordinaire, answered with an enquiry tone.

"Can you find the Merlin doll?"

From where he sat on a sofa near the dinning area, James chuckled. It always amused him to hear 'Merlin' and 'doll' used in the same sentence. "It's in Hally's cot."

"And what is a male historical figure's doll doing in our daughter's cot?"

James knew that his wife was only exasperated because he was having their daughter play with male dolls. She probably feared it might make their princess like him, or a tomboy like young Nymphadora. But the Merlin doll had been his only available option, and he explained this to her.

"I found her playing with Circe, a dark witch. Who even bought that doll for her. I had to look for a light witch doll. I found none, it was all Morgana, Morgause, and Carmilla Sanguina."

"That's Sirius. He was caught up in a mission and so was too tied up to get them Christmas gifts. He just transfigured these, using memories of dolls he'd seen his cousins play with when they were children," his wife informed him.

"Typical that the House of Black will give their children dark dolls to play with," he said.

This didn't assuage him much. The thought of his daughter playing with a doll similar to something Bellatrix Lestrange had also played with as a child did not sure well with him.

Lily having tucked the children in, was coming down the stairs now. She chuckled hearing her husband's words. "Dark doll, now who's sounding ridiculous. You know, that reminds me of some muggle horror movies."

She came down to sit on his lap and he wrapped his right hand around her, drawing her closer till her head rested on his chest. "Dolls? Well I can imagine how they could be scary in a horror movie."

Lily smiled. "Anyway, you shouldn't worry about any of the little ones becoming dark because of their dolls. If anything would make any of them dark it's the name you gave Harry. Calling our boy Hardred is just a recipe for disaster."

The lightness of her voice made James know that she was just teasing him. He pouted and used his index finger to poke her in the ribs. A gesture he knew she hated as she was very ticklish. "I will have you know that Hardred is a very honorable Pureblood name," he said pompously, ignoring her squirming on his lap from him poking her on the ribs.

"Honorable and Pureblood are two words I never thought I'd hear in a single sentence," she said.

"Well, there is me and Dad. There are dad's friends in the Alliance. We are all Purebloods and honorable," he pointed out.

"You and your dad I know, but for some in the Alliance. You can't expect me to trust Lord McDougall now, can you?"

James chuckled. "Merrick is like what you believe Snivelus to be; horrible childhood, invested in the dark arts but not a slave to it, strong character, secretly compassionate, off-putting personality, loyalty to friends and family worthy of the poster Hufflepuff…"

"Alright alright. I get it. Merrick McDougall is beneath all that scary personality the person you don't believe Severus is and can ever be," she said, sounding exasperated and somewhat annoyed.

James knew the annoyance was not directed at him, rather it was at herself. One didn't need to take a close look at Lily to know she was doubting the goodness her heart held for Snape. This have been happening since they got intel that the greasy bastard was now a Death Eater.

Regardless, he can't have his wife not being happy, now can he? "Ding dong," he said in a cartoonish voice, making her look up at him curiously. "A special kiss was ordered for one pretty Lily Evans Potter. Ready for delivery!"

Lily smiled and brought her face close to his then at the last minute she brought out her wand and conjured a pen. She used the pen to sign her name on his lips as he watched, dumbfounded. "There, delivery accepted and signed," she said, deeply amused and evidently holding back a chuckle.

"You can't be serious Lily flower," he said giving her puppy eyes.

"That's what you do when the item you ordered is delivered, you sign the delivery document," she said and began to chuckle. "There was no document. But your lips made a fine substitute."

"Then I will just have to tattoo that on…" His stopped speaking when he heard heavy footfalls outside from the dining window.

"Who is that? We aren't expecting anyone today."

His dear wife was right as always. Their friends and allies were out on watch, suspecting that Voldemort was going to do something as today was Halloween the dark bastard had a fetish for the holiday.

"I'll go check," he said, standing Lily up and getting up himself.

"Don't open the door, james."

He resisted rolling his eyes. He wasn't that stupid. "As you say, ma'am."

He continued advancing to the sitting room.

"James, I'm serious."

"Alright Alright," he said, imitating her from earlier. "I won't even go near the door, I promise."

That was not really true. He got to the door and pressed his ear to the keyhole. Whoever was out there was approaching slowly from the iron wrought fence. He listened as the person climbed the stairs leading to the door. Getting an idea, he straightened his head and squinted to see through the keyhole. A familiar black robe and pale skin met his sight and he could only widen his eyes in shock as the figure raised his wand.

The door he was directly behind was blown of its hinges. James was hurled halfway across the sitting room and landed supine with a thud. His last though before passing out was of Hardred and Halesia.

Lily, hearing the noise in the living room, hurried over. She saw James passed out on the floor, the blasted door almost on top of him. She looked to the doorway and saw the sight of the dark lord Voldemort, his frightful figure made even more eerie by being enveloped with beams of moonlight.

Seeing the person who had decided to pay them a visit, she realized that James might be dead. She clenched her jaw and walked passed her husband to stand before the door. "You are not welcome here."

"Where is the boy?" Voldemort asked in his loud whispery voice.

Getting an inspiration, Lily decided to lie. "They are not here. It seems like you made a futile journey."

"Where are they?"

"And why should I tell you that?" She retorted stubbornly.

What he did next was not something she expected. Barely raising his wand, Voldemort screamed, " LEGILIMENS."

He tore through her Occlumency barriers like they were made of wet paper. Her panic rose and she started trying to bury the memory of her tucking the twins in moments ago. Voldemort was a master of the mental arts though. He ravaged her mind like a Nundu on rampage and eventually he got the memory he was looking for.

When he was finally out of her mind, Lily slumped down. She was feeling so lightheaded and blood spilled down from her nose. She tried struggling to get up but her brain could not coordinate with her will. Her vision became hazy and she began to panic as she felt herself slipping away from consciousness.

OoOoO

James groaned as he woke up. He looked around and saw that he was in the Hogwarts infirmary. On a bed beside his was Lily.

"Ah, I'm glad you are finally awake, James," a voice said from his side.

He looked in that direction and saw a tired Albus Dumbledore sitting by his bedside. "Albus! What happened? Where is Harry and Hally?"

"The twins are alive, James, calm down," Albus said, trying to stop James from sitting up. "As to what happened. We were hoping you will tell us what happened."

After a lot of assurance from Albus that his children were fine —the man even pointed at their double cot which was beside Lily's bed— James sighed and began to explain what he knew. He told Albus of them hearing the footsteps and him peeping through the keyhole before he was blasted off his feet.

"That fully explains what happened to you," Albus said, implying that they had suspected he'd been blown off with the door. "Lily's injuries indicates an immense Legilimency attack and the twins…"

"What?! What happened to my children? I thought you said they were fine."

"They are," Dumbledore said and received an impatient look from James. "Hally is fully healthy, but Harry…"

"What happened to Harry, Albus?! Speak before I get down from this bed to find out for myself!!" He yelled at the old Headmaster who was stalling for whatever reason. James would have thought it to be dramatic effect if this wasn't such a serious topic.

"Voldemort tried using Harry for an Enpongerous ritual…"

James gasped and fell flat on the bed in shock. Having a Black as mother meant that he had beyond average knowledge of the dark arts. The Enpongerous ritual had been told to him by his mother during a story time. An ancient dark lord, Ezkridis, had invented a ritual for gaining power. It entailed sacrificing something of great importance to absorb the magic and soul of your enemy. When the ritual is done there will be nothing left of the enemy but carbonized goo.

"You… you… said he's fine." James said, clinging to that reassurance.

"Harry is alive… thanks to Sirius. The young man decided to pay Pettigrew a visit this Halloween and saw that your friend had packed hurriedly, abandoning his home. Rightfully concerned, Sirius headed straight to Godrics Hallow where he found Voldemort in the middle of the ritual. Using his knowledge as a Black, Sirius disrupted the ritual. Voldemort was turned to ash but Harry was saved. Although he lost his magic, he still has his soul."

James felt a lump in his throat. He ignored the fact that Pettigrew had betrayed them, that wasn't important at the moment. "Lost his magic? My son has lost his magic?" He asked Dumbledore who nodded sadly. "What's going to become of him?"

Albus sighed. "I have an idea. According to Sirius, it was also Voldemort's body that was destroyed. He saw a wraith escape through the window. I have sent him and a team to hunt this wraith but in the meantime we must make plans for Voldemort's return. I have an idea for a better safehouse for Harry than the Fidelius protected cottage in Godric's Hallow. Voldemort have marked him already as his equal; on his head is a sowilo rune Voldemort had used to tether him to the ritual. Harry must be protected but he can't remain in the Wizarding World."

"What are you suggesting, Albus?"

And so James was informed of blood wards and found out that the safehouse was Lily sister's home. Apparently Petunia would be an important catalyst, being related by blood to Harry, for the blood ward to be effective.

"But what about when Voldemort returns. How will Harry be able to fight him without magic?"

"Harry won't fight Voldemort, James. We will only need to weaken Voldemort and have Harry strike the killing blow. I think I muggle gun will be just as effective as a killing curse."

James could only gape at the old wizard in shock. It was a good plan but this was his first time seeing such ruthlessness in his former Headmaster. "Anyway," Albus said, getting up, "don't tell this to anyone asides Lily. I have announced to the whole world that Hally not Harry vanquished Voldemort. She is being hailed as the Girl-Who-Lived. Sirius has been asked to keep silent about what he saw also. Harry needs to be protected by all means. This is mostly why he needs to be sent away. He lacks the power to protect himself and you can't expect to always be there to protect him. Death Eaters if they know he's the one who vanquished their master will stop at nothing to kill him. We will carefully make Harry disappear from this world and when the time is right he will be brought back and everything will be restored to what it used to be. Get some rest, James, you will need your strength in this aftermath of Voldemort's defeat."

As the wizened man walked away, James closed his eyes and thought on what he should do. He wanted to take care of Harry but he knew that squibs had no place in this world. Dark families throw their squib members away out of disgust but light families only do that to spare them… to spare them the pain of growing up alone and miserable of being surrounded by a world they can never be a part of. And there was also Albus' warnings to consider. Harry's safety was paramount.

Albust suggestion was the best. Indeed the Headmaster had always been very smart. This won't only spare Harry the pain it will also benefit the future fight against Voldemort.

He understood this but it wasn't going to be easy trying to make Lily understand. He sighed and tried to go back to sleep. As Albus had said, he was going to need his strength.

~Break~

Harry did not jolt awake from his sleep. He only opened his eyes tiredly and sat up. He was quite familiar with that dream now. His brain could remember his mother tucking him in that Halloween night, could remember hearing from upstairs the voices of his parents and the consecutive altercation and scuffle with Voldemort downstairs. Also he'd witnessed the ritual with his eyes. He'd seen Voldemort pick him up from the crib and carve the rune on his head with a ritual knife. Sadly he'd blacked out due to the pain during the ritual. Then he'd woken up in the infirmary to hear Dumbledore explaining to his father what his (Harry's) fate was going to be.

He blamed his parents for the decision they made but he simply could not hate them for it. He could understand how miserable his life would have been growing up in a magical community when he couldn't use magic. They had chosen the best option presented to them. He understood it perfectly, but that they had given up on him being magical didn't mean he did too.

Magic was… well, magic. Anything theoretically possible can be made literally possible with magic. So shouldn't there be a way to give someone magic after they've lost it.

Magic was the ultimate power, second to none and succeeding money. All the powers he knew and hungered for —Knowledge, martial, political, financial (wealth), fear, blackmail, fame, economical, intelligence, skill, influence (manipulation), influence (contrivance framing)— were nothing next to supernatural power, be it magical or scientifical and Harry won't rest until he have one or both.

~Break~

The headquarters of Talavi was one of the most impressive buildings in South London, not something one would expect as the base of a secret service branch.

The skyscraper that was Talavi HQ was shaped like a knife without a hilt and it was beautiful with dark blue and black glass walls.

Harry's convoy pulled up before the main entrance of the building and an earbud in his left ear beeped before he heard the voice of his security chief. " Drones report no hostiles in sight, sir. But still I'm sending a security team of four in with you as Talavi has a security force of almost fifty within the building and we can only theorize as to their internal security weapons systems."

" Roger that, Rivers," Harry said, ending the conversation.

The channel was opened to his entire security personnel so it was no surprise when not a minute later his door was opened. He stepped out of the black armoured SUV with bulletproof windows and bulletproof front and rear windscreens.

Forward and behind the car were the rest vehicles that were part of the motorcade. Behind were two sedans and my front of it was another SUV. Leading the procession was a van in which John Rivers, his security chief, was in. All the cars were armoured and bullet-proofed. They had also been given some magical upgrades by him with the assistance of formerly jobless muggleborns Preverus had helped him hire.

Two things made his entire convoy special. Their magical improvement and the personnel within the vehicles. For the former, he and his new magical assistants had made the cars capable of cloaking and becoming invisible, capable of flying, and indestructible to muggle attacks. As to the latter, the personnel… well, half of them were Agents of AK-07 and the other half were from Heracles.

Preverus was really proving his worth, though it still vexed Harry that he was yet to find a way to make the man utterly loyal to him. But at least their alliance was effective regarding that, for now.

Now it'd take a whole ground squadron with air support to pull off what Silbern did a few months ago.

Harry approached the entrance of the Talavi building and four vampires flanked him, two to each side. They stepped in through the revolving door together. Here the vampires showed a bit of their quickness as they were able to keep pace with the door and not get separated from him.

Once they were at the reception area, one of the vampires peeled off from group and approached the receptionist.

Harry took the time to survey the entrance lobby. It was empty of anyone else but him, his security, and the receptionist. It was not surprising as the sun had over an hour ago disappeared into the horizon.

Silbern has asked for this meeting and he had scheduled it for nightime. This meant that the ignorant German had given Harry the chance to come with what was being called his Vamp Guard by Wilde who was now in the know about the magical world on Harry's authority.

Harry eventually planned to branch into the magical world once he had the technological empire he was planning up and running. All he would need to do was get his assistants to prep the techs he plan to make with magical upgrades then he will drag the magical world kicking and screaming into the modern age.

He needed Wilde to do the maths regarding the possible expansion into the magical world and make analysis of everything that it will entail. That was why the man had to be brought into the secret.

Harry saw the receptionist pick up a desk phone after speaking to his bodyguard. She nodded and said some words making Harry wish he could lipread.

When she was done speaking, she returned the phone to its cradle and was escorted over by his bodyguard. "Good day, Mr. Potter," she said, smiling politely. It was a formal smile, one she had obviously been taught to always wear. "You are a bit early for your scheduled meeting with Mr. Glärren, but he's asked that I bring you straight to him."

"Lead the way, Miss…"

"Lynn," she said, answering the question he'd left hanging then she led him and his guards into an elevator. It was a tight fit but they didn't need to squeeze in. Harry and Miss Lynn stood at the front while the vamps were behind them, their eyes glued on Lynn from behind their shades.

"If you don't mind me asking, what's your first name?" He asked, and the brilliance of her smile increased twofold. It was still fake which was a shame as she was a pretty blonde of petite nature whom's grey eyes and beauty would be enhanced by a real smile.

"Elizabeth, sir, Elizabeth Lynn," she said, smiling still, yet giving him a look that wordlessly said 'am I not too old for you'.

The elevator stopped and she led them across a hallway to double sliding doors which she opened by placing her palm on a biometric scanner. The doors made a ding like an elevator and opened to admit them into a rec room.

Harry had been expecting an office but then again he knew things wouldn't always be as expected with Silbern. For example, who could have imagined that the man used makeup to disguise himself and had a public identity; Karl Glärren, CEO of Talavi, a zoological research organization.

Within the room was Silbern without the makeup and five others. Harry asked his bodyguards to wait outside and stepped in. Surprisingly Lynn did so with him.

He realized that she may perhaps be a member of Silbern's inner circle or at least a top Agent amongst the Knights of Rodina.

"Welcome, welcome, our respected partner," Silbern said, mockingly. "Have a seat. Lynn, get him something to munch on."

Harry sat down and soon enough a plate of hors d'oeuvre was placed on a stool, beside the chair he'd taken, by Lynn. "Silbern," he greeted, tonelessly, making no attempt to even glance at the appetizers.

He did notice Lynn move over to stand by the door. Possibly to block off an escape route. There were panoramic glasses in the room but as this was a skyscraper Harry knew that they must have been reinforced. It won't be impossible to break through them, just difficult. And Harry didn't have the training to jump down a twenty-floor-high building. He was being trained by his most skilled AK-07 agents and could now stand his ground against a spec ops soldier just out of training but he wasn't yet at the level of a secret service agent or a commando.

"Now now, that's not the way greet a friend, my boy," Silbern said, addressing Harry's cold greeting.

"Your time might not be worth much to you, but mine is. Can we get to the reason why you invited me here?"

From the peripheral of his vision Harry saw one of Silbern's people glaring at him and he directed his gaze at the man. He looked rather Irish with a shocking shade of red hair. Next to him was a typical American girl; brunette, ponytail, boldness in dressing with leather pants, biker jackets and combat boots. By Silbern's left was another American, she was a blonde like Lynn but her hair was shoulder length and her eyes were green. She was speaking to a Japanese girl who pretended to be listening but was in truth watching Harry and Silbern. Behind the German was a beefy looking Brit who had a fixed frown on his face and was quite tall. His size and height made him look like an imposing pro wrestler.

"You always like heading straight to the point and I always try to deter you from it as you won't, at the end of the day, like that point. But if you don't want me to soften the blow for you… well, I'll go right ahead with the punch." Silbern paused and took a sip from a glass of whiskey with ice cubes. He sighed and went on. "The reason for this meeting is the adverts that have been featuring on English billboards for the past month now."

"I guess you are taking about Enyo Tech," Harry said, suddenly cautious. His wariness increased when Silbern nodded. Enyo Tech was a future technological company. Harry already had the goods but not the factories but everything needed to establish Enyo would be finalized in less than a month; budget, factories, workers, HQ, etc.

This was not known to the public, but once Jack found out that Harry had techs he was willing to market he'd kick-started things. One of his plans was the overwhelming advertisment before launch. Funny enough most of the techs that were being advertised would bankrupt a middle class person if they attempt to purchase them.

One was something Harry called the 'Sub Range Neural Snoozing Device' or the Subranezz. He made it by reverse engineering the telepathic remote control device used to operate the LMD. The Subranezz use a psionic emission to knock out every awake consciousness in a fixed range.

Another was the Argus Drone. This drone was Harry's brainchild and its cameras had an incredible retinal system that was capable of night vision, eagle vision, x-ray vision, and thermal imaging. The exterior body of the drone was a seamless screen that showed real time representation of the drones background, acting as a camouflage and making it seemingly invisible. It worked best at night and during the day would need cloud cover. One was currently hovering above the Talavi building, transmitting real time data from scans to John Rivers.

The device that had gained the most public attention was the TD-007. Named after James Bond, the Tactical Droid was something Harry made after fully reverse engineering the LMD. It was not as capable as an LMD, but it was a droid which's only programmed purpose was war. It looked like a skeleton with Gatling guns for forearms. Harry made them structurally weak though so when they are easily destroyed customers will come to him for replacements.

The ones he plan to build for AK-07 and himself will be made out of titanium and will be capable of flight. And they won't only have the LMD's limited human retinal system, but will also be equipped with the full retinal system of the Argus Drone.

The least of the many devices he was advertising was a sound device that use a unique pitch tuned to a certain volume to simulate the effects of vertigo. He knew the government won't let him market this even if he'd advertised it to be a self defence weapon like a stun baton.

Enyo Tech was primarily a weapon manufacturing company but weapons were not the only things he'd advertised. There were games which he'd created that utilize VR headsets, and unconventional mechanical appliances that make engineering a lot much easier like laser drill and a more efficient nail gun.

Silbern's interest in Enyo could only mean that the Soviet was interested in Harry's upcoming tech company, or rather the weapons of war he have to offer.

His suspicion was confirmed by Silbern. "Enyo Tech… the wonderful work of a child genius. Yes, I'm talking about Enyo Tech," Silbern said, praising Harry but with a mocking tone and he rolled his eyes at the Iris man who chuckled.

"What do you want with my company?" Harry asked.

"We want to be your exclusive customers for the TD-007," Sibern announced then whistled. He picked up a remote and clicked a button. A flat screen TV turned on and began to play a downloaded commercial of the TD-007.

They weren't humanlike in capabilities as Harry had been unable to find a substitute for the telepathic device that made a person capable of controlling an LMD hence making it able to do anything said human can do short of the supernatural for Wizards and Enhanceds. What he had been able to do to give the droids human-like abilities was programme human motion particulars into their motor systems. They can summersault, were capable of punching and kicking, and could could run as fast as tigers.

The one being shown on the screen was running and keeping pace with a sports car that was going at 70 miles per hour. Then the Droid summersaulted to the top of the car and sprayed its roof with bullets from its Gatling gun arms.

"These things are incredible," the blonde American girl said, staring at the Droid in awe.

The Japanese lady snorted. "That's considering if it's not just special effect and good editing"

Harry frowned. "Prospective buyers were there when that commercial was shot and after which they all witnessed a private performance of the TDs."

"Hold your accusations, Vera," Silbern snapped. He gave Harry an apologetic look. "I didn't call you to express any doubt about the droids…"

"No, you called me here to control my sales of them which is not happening," Harry said, heatedly, cutting him off.

Silbern frowned and Harry wondered if he was going to blackmail him again. If he went with that card Harry had an ace he could use to counter it. He'd simply just cancel the establishment of Enyo and later establish it when he have the Soviets out of his hair.

"We have a compensating offer," Sibern said, staring at Harry emotionlessly. Harry rightly interpreted the look as a warning. Silbern was trying to say, 'this is as far as we will go to try and convince you, reject this and you will force our hand'.

Harry tried not to sigh visibly in worry. "Let's hear it."

"We did promise you some certain economical benefits when you became our partner, well we are ready to provide you with those benefits," he said then started pointing at the men and women around him. "These are Victor Ó Riagáin, Elizabeth Lynn, Sophia Goode, Carol Goldsmith, Vera Tymoshenko, and David Tyler. Knights of Rodina who are going to assist you in achieving the zenith qualities sought after in the business world. They will be your commercial espionage team. No rival buisness's secret or patents will be unkown to you with their assistance."

Harry could finally put names to their faces. The Irish was Victor Ó Riagáin. Elizabeth Lynn he already knew her name. The American brunette was Sophia Goode and her blonde countryman was Carol Goldsmith. The Japanese was Vera Tymoshenko and the muscular Brit behind Silbern was David Tyler.

Harry thought of how to get his way in this meeting and could only come up with one solution. It was a risky idea but could work. "There is only one problem," he said. Seeing Silbern's face twist into a displeased frown he rushed on to add, "this is as much a problem for me as it is for you and the entire USSR."

Silbern still frowning, though his eyes now carried a bit of curiosity, sat up. "Speak," he ordered then took a sip from his glass of ice cold alcohol.

"You see, if after weeks of advertising the TDs I suddenly cancel sales to others who are interested and then the droids are seen in the hands of Russians it will cause suspicion that will have me investigated and linked to the KGB. It could affect your mission here," Harry said carefully, enhancing the points that made their request unacceptable for the good of both parties.

Silbern grinned. "Is that all?" He asked then chuckled when he saw Harry's confused look. Harry was simply confused because what he had pointed out was supposed to be a concern for Silbern. "Oh, this is so amusing. Vera, tell him."

The Japanese girl gave Harry a condescending look. "We don't plan to use the droids only stockpile them until the right time. And when that time comes you can claim that we stole all your manufactured batches and blueprints and we also deleted the blueprints from your computers making you incapable of further production of the droids," she said, haughtily. "By the way, you should be glad we didn't actually do that. It'd be so great if Mother Russia gains the manufacturing advantage of the production of the Droids. Silbern and our executives disagree with me on that though."

Harry felt spitefully grateful to the German and his fellow executives but he was certain that the Knights of Rodina would have found it impossible to steal the droids much less delete their blueprints from his computers. Mainly because his lab and important computers were in a location known to him and a number of people he could count with a single hand.

Anyway, Tymoshenko's threat wasn't what made him thoughtful, it was what she said before that. They were planning to stockpile his droids and then make use of them at an appointed time in future. The time didn't matter, what registered with him was the stockpiling. He interpreted it as building an army of TDs. An army that could not disobey orders, an army that was more durable than humans, an army that did not need to sleep or eat—only recharge. An army that was fearless and an army that was better armed than ten soldiers and faster than a most cars.

He couldn't let this happen. He might support communism but he couldn't let the work of his hands be used against his country. So right there Harry developed a plan. He will give in to their demands but will make the droids he give them self destruct after a single hit from an offensive weapon, making it seem like they are substandard. And him being just a seven years old no one would doubt the faultiness of the droids he created, after all he was a child, quite smart for his age but lacking in proper scientific experience.

This could also prove advantageous when the Soviets try to reverse engineer the droids. When they are disassembling it the thing is going to go boom in their face and seriously injure their engineers.

He had to rein in the overwhelming urge to grin in triumph. He sighed in defeat instead and gave Silbern a pleading look. "Selling to a wider market will make it easier for me to fulfill our initial agreement," he said, making them think this was one final attempt to convince them before he crack. "With profits from the Droids the make-believe earnings you have going from your none existent investment in my buisnesses will be more solid."

"Our demand is not negotiable, Potter," Silbern said, resolutely. Then he gave Harry a wicked smile. "Unless you will like us to bring out the big guns?"

Harry raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright. Fine, I'll see about calling off the launch for the droids. When would you like to receive the first batch?"

"Will a week from now be fine?" Silbern asked and Harry nodded. That was enough time to compromise the TDs he will be selling to them and, oh, will he be milking them of even more than the droids were worth.

With that their meeting was done, Harry left after taking the contacts of his new business espionage team. His Vamp Guards escorted him back to his SUV where the musclebound black-haired Rivers was waiting for him.

Rivers was one of his muggleborn assistants and though he know nothing about engineering, muggle or magical, Harry only need to direct him on how to apply his magic for what was needed. The man was a former member of SAS who joined because of the lack of job in the Wizarding world for those of muggle stock. He'd only retired because he got frustrated with fighting muggle wars. He'd been deployed during the Soviets failed blockade of Western sectors of West Berlin in 1948–49 and he'd also fought in the Soviet invasions of East Germany and Afghanistan.

If Harry had initiated contact with unknowns, and sometimes even with friendlies, it was Rivers job to magically scan him after for anything from poison to mind control and bugs.

The man waved his wand over Harry and release a short ranged burst of magic that fried any tech on him. Harry was thankful that his Tablet PC wasn't on his person. The man then scanned him for ten minutes before declaring, "You're all clear, boss."

"Good, now I think we should get going. I have a lot of work to do in the labs."

Rivers gave him a nod and stepped out of the SUV. He shut the door and jogged over to the mini van leading the convey. Checks were made to see if the personnel were complete and if everything was normal then the drone was sent to scout ahead and they began making their way out of South London.
