Hello readers! I am off on a well-deserved holiday for a week. Do not worry, I will return to post more chapters. Please, feel free to reread what has been written so far and comment. I enjoy seeing what my readers post.

Saphira was relaxed in the cab as Optimus followed the autobots out of the NEST base onto the road just outside the base. She was curious where the house was. She knew it was just outside the base, she did think it might be pushing it a little with her safety in a sense since she would reside outside the confines, but at least she would not have to adhere to a curfew if she decided to go for a drive somewhere casually.

"I am still a little troubled that NEST was not able to house you within the confines of the NEST base," Optimus said through the speakers as he drove behind Ironhide. "It would have been far safer for you to be there."

"Perhaps, but I personally am glad I can have a space where I can get away from being surrounded by military and government agents," Saphira said softly. "While the military themselves are not so bad, it's the other bit that is draining. Government agents just have their heads buried in the sand."

"They are concerned for their world and country, Saphira," Optimus argued gently. "However, I do not disagree they go about it the wrong way. Warrior minds tend to understand the world more than those who spend more time in politics."

"Did autobots have that too on Cybertron?" Saphira asked curiously, looking at the dash with a smile.

"We did. However, they were not of warrior class or Primes. They are sadly not around anymore." Optimus began to slow down as the other autobots begin to slow down as the house came into view. "Seems like that is your new house, Saphira. I hope you will like it."

Saphira could see the building ahead, but it was hard to see what it looks like as they were not close enough. Bumblebee turned into the driveway first, followed by Barricade, Dino, Sideswipe and Ironhide. Saphira smiled when she saw there was room for Optimus as he turned onto the driveway, and the garage was big enough for a Peterbilt as well.

The house itself is a two-story, modern house with high, grey brick fencing around the property. The garden was basic and it could use a lot of colour with flowers, and it could also be productive with fruit and vegetables growing in the ground. Though, of course, Saphira knew it would be a waste to do any of that at the moment.

Bumblebee's holoform stepped out of the camaro with the suitcases, he was smiling excitedly and gave one of the suitcases to Barricade who took one of the cases happily, he grinned at Saphira as they wait for her. Saphira was quick to climb out of the cab and looked up at the house excitedly. She heard Optimus's holoform following her and she looked at him with a grin.

"Nice to see you made it necessary for Saphira to see your holoform," Bumblebee teased lightly, making Optimus chuckle as he walked towards the front door with Saphira. Bee walked over to Saphira and held out a key to her. "I believe this belongs to you now."

"Thank you, Bee." Saphira takes the key from his hand and walked up to the front door. She was expecting a plain interior, nothing too fancy, so she did not have a huge expectation as she turned the key in the door and opened it. "Oooh…nice."

Stepping inside, Saphira pulled her shoes off by the front door to walk barefoot. Most of the ground floor was covered in white tiles, she could smell the scent of fresh paint that had been used to paint the walls white. There was a pink and blue flower art piece hanging on the wall to give the hallway by the staircases with black, wooden railings a bit of colour. There was also a long, pale blue, fluffy rug in the hallway that felt very nice to walk on.

"Not a bad entrance," Barricade comments as he looked around curiously. "Should we take these up to your room?"

Saphira turned in surprise and shook her head. "You can leave them by the stairs for the moment. I want to be the first to see my new bedroom."

Barricade nodded as he and Bee place the suitcases by the stairs to follow Saphira. The hallway opened up into a living room and kitchen area. Saphira smiled as she saw the white doors and dark blue stone benchtops of the kitchen counters, there was an island with a sink and eletric stove top. There was a top of the line dishwasher, large French door fridge and freezer, a massive walk-in pantry and two ovens that were convenient to use when cooking bakes. By the island there were four stools with dark, grey cushioning. The dining table was set up between the living room and kitchen, the table itself had a glass top and grey metal legs. The chairs had the same cushion colour as the stools and white frames. Saphira thought it was funny that the table could sit up to six people though. She would love to share dinner only with a single autobot, if only he could be satisfied with energon cubes in his holoform.

Dino whistled a little as he was impressed by the kitchen. "This has to be a very cool setup. I wish we could eat your food, Saphira. I bet you are a great cook. What kind of food do you enjoy? Fish? Steak? Vegetarian?"

Saphira giggled at the bot with all his questions. "Steak is along that line, but I enjoy cooking. So…it will probably be different every night, or I make up a big batch of food to eat during the week. Especially if I get too busy."

"Oh? What kind of food would you make up?" Dino asked her curiously.

"Rice dishes mostly, mostly because pasta kind of makes me feel bleh after eating it," Saphira responded with a shrug. "Rice and pasta are filling, but…I think my stomach just can't handle huge quantities of pasta. It is weird cause I can eat bread just fine."

The autobots didn't really understand what Saphira was talking about, but they didn't ask any further questions. Saphira looked at the living room setup. The couch itself could seat up to seven people, even though it is an angle couch. The fabric is dark blue with white cushions and grey throw rugs on the back of the chair. There were several recliners facing the large, flat screen on the wall with the same colour and a glass coffee table in the middle and a black rug underneath it. Saphira hummed and noticed a curtain pulled across a separated room.

She walked over and opened it, widening her eyes when she saw a pool table. "Oh, cool!" She exclaimed as she pulled it open. The pool room had black carpet instead of tile. "Now this is a lot of fun."

The bots looked at the large table with two pool sticks and the balls held neatly by a triangle holder. "What is this?" Ironhide asked as he raised an eyebrow. "It looks…strange."

"This is a pool table," Saphira responded with a smile. "It's a game. Basically the idea of pool is that you hit this ball…" She held up the white ball. "To either the solid colour balls or balls with white on either side into the nets around the table. If you get all of your balls into the net first and pocketing the other balls first, you win. Basically…I think. Anyway, it's a fun game and a great way to challenge the other person. I can show you how to play."

"Fascinating…" Dino crouched by the table, looking at it with keen curiosity. "I can't imagine putting the twins up against each other. They would probably break it."

"They definitely would," Barricade agreed with a smirk. "Though it looks interesting. An excuse to have a lot of laughter."

"Oh, it most definitely is," Saphira said with a giggle, running her hand along the side of the table. "I thought this room was a theater room for some reason…but, this is way better than that."

"I look forward to being taught how to play," Barricade said as he gazed at it thoughtfully. "But, let us have a look at the rest of the house. It still fascinates me when I get to see inside the homes humans live in. It is so different to ours."

"That it is, Barricade," Optimus agreed as Saphira walked out of the pool room, walking towards the back patio.

There were large, glass windows along the wall, and there was a glass door that opened into a concrete patio with a polished, wooden dining table set up with some outdoor lounges and a barbeque. She opened the sliding door, peaking outside to look around and she spotted something to the left. She stepped outside and smiled when saw a jacuzzi, she was definitely not expecting this.

"What is this?" Bumblebee inquired curiously as he gazed as the covered object. He looked at Saphira curiously, he could see her disbelief on her face. "You were not expecting this."

"Definitely not…" Saphira could already envision quiet, romantic nights with herself and Optimus sitting in that jacuzzi. She could not wait to invite him into the jacuzzi for the first time. "I can totally see myself using this."

The bots were curious about what she meant, though they do not pry as she turned away from the jacuzzi and looked out into the backyard. There was not much to gaze at, the grass was cut, the garden was basic and there really was not much to look at. Even the space itself was not too big so Saphira barely paid attention to it. She decided to look around to the laundry, as that definitely was a necessity. She walked over to a door by the kitchen and opened it into a long room where all the laundry machines were, and there was also a toilet here too. She was happy with that, again it had the same white tiles as the rest of the ground floor.

She walked back to the front of the house as there was a door across from the garage door that she wanted to peak into. She opened it and found it was a spare bedroom. It had a queen bed that had really nice blankets and pillows with white carpet. She didn't linger too long because it was just a spare bedroom. Although, she doubted it would ever get used.

"Alright, we can go upstairs now," Saphira said as she walked over to the stairs with a smile.

Optimus picked both suitcases up before Bee and Barricade, he smiled at Saphira as she walked up the stairs quickly to see what the rest of her home looked like. Optimus could definitely understand why it was exciting for her as moving into a new house was like an adventure. It might last only a day, but it still was an exciting time nonetheless. Optimus himself was curious about how she would spend her time here when she was not studying or working.

Upon reaching the second floor, the dark carpet was pleasant on Saphira's feet. She wiggled her toes on the carpet a little as she gazed around with a smile. She could see a linen closet between the two bedrooms, and there were two other rooms that she would need to open to see what they were. She walked to the room to her right first and opened it, smiling when she saw it was a study room. It had already been set up with a wooden desk, black office chair, computer and phone so Saphira did not need to go out and buy it.

"At least they thought about the place I need for study," Saphira said as she walked around the room checking it out. "This is so nice." She suddenly went quiet with a slight frown, looking up at the autobots. "I've had something like this happen to me before…and for some reason…I feel guilty."

"Guilty?" Bee rose an eyebrow curiously and placed his hands on his hips. "And why do you feel guilty, Saphira?"

She rubbed the head of the office chair thoughtfully with a hum. "I guess…if I wasn't in any danger…there would be no need for any of this. I have been happy with small confines and simple surroundings for so long…this literally feels like luxury for me. Luxury that I am not familiar with. And…spending so much money just to keep me safe…seems foolish."

"That maybe how you see this, Saphira," Optimus said in a gentle, reassuring tone. "But know this, I know that Lennox himself would want to see you safe as it seems he sees you somewhat like a daughter." She smiled slightly, she sort of knew that since Will has really taken her under his wing ever since they had met. "And he himself organized this place for you. Even though you may feel like you don't deserve what is here, you should believe those who look out for you and those who believe that you do deserve it."

Saphira looked around the office thoughtfully as she processed the words. "I…guess you are right. I know it sounds silly…but…" She rubbed the back of her head and smiled slightly at the bots. "I'm not used to this at all."

Optimus smiled and gestured with his head for her to keep exploring. "Let us keep exploring, shall we?"

She nodded quietly, she felt a little stupid for saying what she said, though it was hard for her to not think like that. She walked out of the office, the autobots moved to allow her to go by to check the door opposite the office. She opened it and smiled when she saw it was just a bathroom. It had a toilet, glass shower and a long, dark, vanity bench with a long mirror and round bowl. The tiles were white with a sky-blue ceiling. It was nice and simple.

She turned her eyes towards the two bedroom doors, one of them was the master bedroom. She looked between the two doors before deciding on the left one to open it. As she pushed it open, she widened her eyes as the room was large with a king-sized bed with a wooden frame. It had a white, lace canopy that had been pulled back, though would give a sense of privacy if needed. She smiled as she stepped inside and glanced around, though she glanced towards the window twice when she noticed it was actually a door out onto a balcony with a loveseat and a black metal table with two chairs. She chuckled softly as she knew it was an invitation for both her and Optimus.

The bedroom also had a makeup vanity, several dressers and a walk-in wardrobe. She walked over to the doorway into the wardrobe and saw it was empty, that was good as she didn't want anyone else to buy her clothes. She already had an awkward time trying on different clothes when she was with Optimus. A few times, they were ridiculous enough that Optimus found himself laughing with her. At least it was the thought that counted.

She turned away from the wardrobe and looked into the last doorway that led into the ensuite bathroom. She stepped inside and smiled, it had a much warmer feel to this than the rest of the house. The tiles were a soft, cream colour with the long vanity being a mix of brown stones and specs of gold glitter. The rim of the mirror had LED lights in them, with a smaller makeup mirror attached to the bottom of the mirror. Saphira turned to look at the large, spa with golden tiles around the tub. She could not wait to make use of the jets of that bath. The shower was larger than the shower in the other bathroom. It could probably hold up to three people, and she saw it not only had a normal shower head, but also a rainshower head.

"On the outside, it looks just like an average house," Saphira said softly as she let her eyes wander the bathroom with glee. "On the inside, there is something special about it."

"I wonder if that is a message Will is trying to send to you." She turned to look at Barricade as he leans on the doorframe to the bathroom. "I'm just going by with what you said earlier. You feel like all this is unnessary because you don't feel like you are enough for it all. When in truth, you are. I also imagine you felt less than ordinary for a long time."

Saphira nodded, she had told that to Optimus mostly, not so much the rest of the autobots. "I can see what you're trying to say. That is why I was able to…retrieve the Matrix because of it."

"Precisely!" Barricade exclaimed with a smile. "And that is what makes you special."

"Ahem." Optimus coughed and Barricade turned to look at him with a curious expression. "I do believe we have some unpacking to do. I wish to assist Saphira with that."

Saphira smiled slightly at him. "Come on, Optimus, they can all stay and help. I don't mind, besides, I'm gonna be teaching you all how to play pool later."

The commander raised an eyebrow at her with a slight smirk. "You said it might take sometime since you want to go through the clothes that were packed."

She felt a blush form on her cheeks suddenly. "Oh…yeah…I did say that…" She rubbed the back of her neck as she remembered. "Okay…" She looked at Barricade with a smile. "Sorry, I hope you don't mind…"

Barricade tilts his head slightly at her. "Why are clothes something that you don't want us to help you with? Is sorting them really difficult?"

Saphira pressed her lips together. She did not want to explain what lingerie was, as it happened to be one of the things she wanted to go through. Especially after she wore one of pieces one night and Optimus asked her about it and why. And Saphira just felt embarrassed about explaining it, even though it literally was just a type of clothing.

Optimus smiled as he knew what she was going to sort through. "You may not understand, Barricade, but humans tend to see clothing as a private matter. Especially when going through them and deciding what she wants to keep."

"But…" Barricade glanced at Saphira as she walked past them to the bed as she was curious about how it felt. "You're going to help?"

"Why shouldn't he help?" Ironhide asked with a huff. "You already know that he and Saphira have bonded during their time away."

Barricade exhaled a little, yes he did know. Though he could see they weren't exactly sparkmates just yet. They have not taken the next step, at least that is what he presumed. "Sorry, I guess I just thought we could help. I didn't think it would be a massively private matter."

"It is okay, Barricade. Humans are often confusing at times." Saphira rolled her eyes a little at Optimus's comment. She hummed before jumping onto the bed suddenly, Optimus turned to look at her curiously. "How is the bed?"

"Fantastic," Saphira responded with a giggle. "This mattress must have cost a fortune…it feels so nice. I actually could fall asleep right now if I wanted to…that is how good it feels."

"I helped Lennox bring that mattress here myself," Ironhide said proudly. "It felt really nice in my hands. We bots don't have the pleasure of recharging on anything like that. Unless we can modify some berths."

Dino chuckled softly. "Personally, I would think we would sink and rip a soft berth. We have a lot of sharp points and I'm not quite sure what material could withstand that. But, I am envious humans get little, soft mattresses to sleep on too."

Saphira smiled at the autobots and looked at Optimus. "I guess being able to enjoy it while in holoform is nice."

Optimus chuckled as he approached the bed with the suitcases and placed them on the ground by it. "Indeed it is." He placed his hand on the bed and pressed down, his smile widened as he felt the mattress. "A lot better than Wildberry Lodge's mattress, that is for sure."

"Does that mean you've interfaced with her?" Barricade asked suddenly with a curious expression.

"What?" Saphira frowned in confusion at Barricade's question. Dino giggled a little as this amused him.

Optimus snapped his head towards Barricade with a glare. "I don't believe that is any of your business, Barricade. Please leave myself and Saphira be so we can unpack and she can settle into her new home properly."

Barricade shrugged, he got his answer from both responses from them. Saphira had no idea what he meant, however the longer she thought about the word and it's context, her face turned red. Ironhide, dragged the former decepticon out of the room while Dino and Bee followed them.

Optimus turned and saw Saphira's red cheeks. "Are you okay?"

She nodded with a smirk, glancing at Optimus. "I can't believe he asked that question."

"Me neither…but, you don't know what that means."

"It isn't hard to figure out, Optimus," Saphira said with a giggle.

Optimus rolled his eyes and laid the suitcases down to begin unzipping them. "I guess this house was beyond your expectations."

She slid off the bed and crouched down to open the cases to begin sorting them. "I am sure you could tell that by my reaction."

He nodded slowly at her. "Indeed. I myself am happy about your accommodation. I suppose, in a way, it could prepare you for when you inherit your grandfather's wealth."

She grimaced a little. "I would rather not think of it like that, Optimus. Having money is great, but…I think I like my old lifestyle more." She shrugged a little as she pulled out the clothes to start sorting. "Guess I better get started so we have time to play pool."

Optimus dropped to his knees to assist her, he had gotten used to handling clothes with Saphira's help during the last couple weeks. "I look forward to playing it. I imagine a few of our friends will challenge me to the game."

Saphira chuckled softly at him. She knew if he picked up the game and figured out how to hit the ball well, he would most definitely be able to play well. It wasn't the easiest game in the world to learn, but it was fun. She and Optimus sit together just talking and going through the clothes quietly. Saphira did feel embarrassed about the type of lingerie that was in the suitcase. She held up a few and Optimus himself made a few comments about how they would look on her. She blushed at the comments, but she kept on unpacking and sorting until it was done so they could head back downstairs to play some pool.
