Hey my lovely readers! I am back from my week away of cruising! Do not worry, I did not forget about my stories, I made sure to allow my free mind to wander and write down the following chapters of the story. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them. Happy reading!

The next couple days have been quite busy for Saphira. Not only did she have to keep practicing driving the different vehicles, she had to help design a course that would mimic situations students could face in the field when it came to transformers. It was fun to do and she would get to test the track once it was complete. Saphira also had to sign paperwork regarding her clearance, agreement to keep the transformers a secret and a few other pieces of paperwork that was important. Saphira did not mind signing these as she knew she had to.

She also received a phone that would be considered for classified use. So she could call Will directly if she needed to, along with a few other people if needed. Though Saphira felt she would only need to contact Will because the other contacts she did not even know.

Aside from a new phone, she also had to go through basic training as well. She was glad Will himself had taken up the charge of training her because she didn't know how she would go if someone else worked with her. She had to go through general self defense and basic training with a handgun. It was already a lot of work.

On top of that, Saphira went to Ratchet at the end of each day to learn more about their medical knowledge. Ratchet even made a fake protoform for her to work on to learn how to help if needed. The medic was very inspired by how quickly Saphira picked up the knowledge. He had no doubt that she could be the autobots' best medic if she kept it up. And that was something he himself was proud to say.

Saphira was currently in the training wing of the NEST base, she was standing in front of Will as he stood opposite her. "Alright, shall we go over it again?" Will asked softly, and she nodded. "Remember, since you are small, you will need to use your opponent's size against themselves. Anyone larger then you can sometimes be slower, so you should use that to your advantage. Alright…let's go again." Saphira nodded, holding up her arms and getting herself into a stance ready to practice. Will held up his own hands. "Now…" He threw his fist and she blocked it. "Good…next…" He threw the next punch and she blocked that as well. "Now, unbalance me."

Saphira ducked and swiped her feet to kick his legs and pushed him backwards. She smiled as he stumbled backwards and she ran to throw him into the ground. Thankfully, the ground was cushioned so no one would get hurt and they were not throwing real punches and kicks. "I did it!"

Will chuckled, looking up at her and moving to stand. "You did. Now, use my punch to throw me into the ground." He held up his hands and Saphira waited before he threw a punch and she grabbed his wrist and pulled him, throwing him into the ground. She giggled softly as Will grunt when he landed. "Oof! Now that was a good one!"

Saphira smiled at him, extending her hand to him to help him up. "I'm getting better at this! How long am I needing to go through the training?"

"Two weeks. Don't worry, time is flying honestly. And you learn very quickly." Will took a deep breath. "We will repeat this a few more times before I teach you something new."

Saphira nodded, getting herself into position to continue the defensive training. It was good exercise to her, even though it had been hard at first. She was lucky she was learning quickly. She already had done some handgun training as well. She knew she would not be taught how to use any other weapons.

As for Optimus, he and some of the autobots had already started going on missions. They were on one right now. Wheeljack, Ratchet and Sideswipe were the only bots at the base currently. And the only reason why Will isn't with them is because he was training Saphira. He would meet up with them after he is finished.

And to say Saphira missed Optimus was an understatement. Saphira wat had the autobots leave that day, it was a day after she and Optimus had arrived. She was very upset by that, though she and Optimus managed to sneak in thirty minutes together. Well, he used his holoform while also speaking to the generals about the meeting so no one suspected anything. Except Will when he caught the two kissing and Optimus's holoform fading away. The man thought it was amusing as the two still somewhat hid their relationship. And while both Saphira and Optimus were growing their relationship, they still had not decided to go to the next step.

And that was a desire growing within Saphira. She wanted to go to the next step. And she realized just how painful it was to be away from Optimus. She was glad he had her emerald, and she had a photo of him.

Saphira and Will kept up the practice for the next half hour before Will taught her how to use her feet to step quickly when facing someone. Since she was smaller than him, it took a little bit for her to learn, but she was quick to use her size to her advantage. Will was thoroughly impressed with how quickly she learned the training. He could see her going a long way in a good career if she chose to, though he knew she won't with her relationship with Optimus.

"Alright." Will looked at his watch as he pants and wiped sweat from his forehead. "That's training done for today. It's lunch time now. You can do some more driving practice afterwards, or go and spend time with Ratchet."

Saphira pants heavily, grabbing her towel and water bottle, using the towel to wipe off the sweat. "I had fun." She placed the bottle tip to her mouth and drank a few mouthfuls. "I look forward to some more tomorrow."

"At least you get a break the day afterwards," Will said as he grabbed his own towel to wipe the sweat from his skin. "Oh, apparently Theodore is around today too. Just letting you know."

She widened her eyes in surprise. "Why? I thought he wasn't doing anything with the transformers anymore."

"He's not, but he is trying to get his position back. I'm not sure why." Will shrugged, seemingly irritated by the man. "He was spouting some nonsense to Wheeljack earlier about how it was too bad he wasn't on Earth earlier to make weapons humans could use. It's not like Wheeljack had a choice."

"Have you found out who is taking charge of the NEST operations?" Saphira asked curiously.

"Nothing is set in stone yet, I am afraid. So we just will have to be patient. I doubt it would be any better than Theodore Galloway,." Will drank some water from his own bottle and looked at her kindly. "He is also still very unkind about you. He has been trying to tell the general you don't deserve protection due to you being the reason why the transformers are here."

Saphira rolled her eyes. "If it wasn't me, it would have been someone else."

"I definitely will agree to that." Will smiled at her before gesturing with his head. "Let's go get some lunch. I am starving!"

Saphira giggled and followed him out of the training facility to head to the dining hall. She too was very hungry. Though as they make their way, Saphira's eye saw someone she knew. She turned her head and narrowed her eyes when she saw Galloway in an office arguing with a few officers. The man glared at her though Saphira looked away from him. He was not worth her time.

Saphira and Will reach the dining hall and filled their plates with what was offered at the buffet. They both were hungry after the work out they have had. Saphira and Will sat at a table together discussing more about their work. She did ask him how Optimus was going as she knew he would have some information about that. All he would tell her was that they were still tracking a decepticon, so nothing had happened yet. She wasn't sure if she would be relieved by that or not.

After lunch, Saphira made her way towards the driving area. She had mostly been practicing driving the Peterbilt as driving the cars were pretty much down packed, she didn't drive them much. However, as she walked through the hallway, she heard Theodore's voice, only he sounded like he was panicked and begging.

"Look, look, I'm sorry that I couldn't get the girl to you," The man said in a high-pitched voice. "How was I supposed to know she would get to Egypt and resurrect Prime?"

Saphira pressed against the wall near the door to listen quietly. And she heard another voice she didn't recognize. "You told us you promised human intelligence. But from what I see…all you've done is proven how stupid we were making you do our dirty work for us."

Is he talking to a decepticon?

"Y-Y-You are right…the girl outsmarted me," Theodore responded nervously. "But that won't happen again. You said your boss still wants the girl, right?"

There was a hissing chuckle at the response. "Oh, you have no idea. After he saw her in your Sector Seven, he has been obsessed with her. No decepticon or human has driven him this way. And because of Prime, she has slipped from his grasp more than once."

I don't particularly like him anyway. He did kill me after all.

"And it seems she may have already opened her legs for Optimus," Theodore said with sneering disgust. "I never thought a human would fall for an autobot."

"Nor did Megatron anticipate to fall for a human," Laserbeak responded with a low growl. "And no, they are not sparkmates yet. There is no sign they have completed the bond. Not yet. We must ensure that does not happen."

There was silence for a moment before the man spoke. "I have an idea. I think if Saphira was put into a situation where Megatron saved her instead of taking her from Prime, it might open the doors for her to be interested in him. When Megatron nabbed her from the university and the Fallen took her from Prime, that hasn't really made her want to like him."

"Yea, it seems that is what is happening. What do you suggest?" Laserbeak gave a lowly chuckle and Saphira heard teeth clicking together. "And think very carefully, Theodore. At this moment, you have not proven your worth to us. Soundwave and I will give you one final chance."

There was whimpering from the man, Saphira kept quiet as she was intrigued by this plan. "Well…um…I was thinking if Saphira leaves her house into town…an unusual accident could happen."

"Such as?"

Theodore whimpered again before responding nervously. "And earthquake, an electric pulse to shut off her car…something she won't expect. Right now, Optimus is not here to help her. So…Megatron can be her savior. Of course, she might not want to go with him. But if other things happen where he has to save her, she might become interested enough to be his sparkmate."

"Hmmm." Laserbeak processed the words quietly for a moment. "That sounds like an idea. I think I have a better one, but I must consult with my master about it." He hisses again at Theodore. "I just hope you don't find yourself in an accident either, Galloway. I would hate to end your life over this."

"I-I promise this will work!" Galloway exclaimed nervously. "I better go before someone gets suspicious. I don't know if I can get my job back."

"That's because you did a poor job!" Laserbeak hissed. "Now get out of here! Before I fire you permanently!"

Saphira stepped away from the door quickly to duck into the next room, closing the door so she wouldn't be spotted. She heard Galloway run out of the room he was in and down the hallway. Saphira waited for his footsteps to fade and waited another two minutes before stepping out. She walked by the room quietly, glancing into it to see it was empty with only a window opened. She wondered if it was a small decepticon, but that didn't matter. Galloway was working with the decepticons to hand her over to Megatron. And that scared her, as he had been trying to do that ever since the incident with the Fallen. She was angry about it, but there was nothing she could do about it now.

But, she didn't know who she could turn to. She didn't exactly have proof of this, so Saphira didn't even know how she would get it off her chest. At least now she had an even bigger reason to avoid Galloway, though if this Laserbeak had some kind of sinister plan that he and the other decepticons work out…she didn't know if that would be easy to avoid. However, there was not much she could do at the moment other than to literally wait and see what happens.
