Chapter 2
Francesco opened the door to his flat and Octavia led Loona into it. She sat her down onto the sofa and Francesco brought in a first aid kit. "So, what exactly happened to you?" he said pointing at the bullet hole in Loona's leg. Loona groaned before saying: "Some assholes were trying to kill us because of our clothes." Francesco pulled out a pair of tweezers and slowly put it into the hole.
Loona whined in pain as the tweezers stopped, then Francesco slowly raised the tweezers out of the hole as well as the bullet. "So people were trying to kill you because of your clothes?" says Francesco. "Yeah. We were minding our business, then two dudes in black and white suits showed up and tried to shoot us," says Loona. As Francesco was wrapping up her leg, he said: "Wait, black and white suits?"
Both Loona and Octavia nodded, when Francesco finished wrapping up Loona's leg he had a thought. "Did they call you demons?" he said out loud. "Yeah, they did. Wait, how do you know that?" says Octavia. Francesco took a deep breath before saying: "I know who tried to shoot you." "You do?" says Loona. Francesco slowly nodded and said: "They are the worst people I have ever know."
"But who are they anyway?" says Octavia. Francesco closed his eyes and said: "Demon hunters." Octavia's eyes widened and said: "Demon hunters?!" "Yeah, they call themselves D.H.O.R.K.S." "What does that even mean anyway?" says Loona. "Demon Hunters Organisation Responsible for Killing Shit." Both Loona and Octavia looked at each other before bursting into laughter.
"That is the most stupidest name I've ever heard!" says Loona. Francesco looked serious before saying: "This isn't funny, it's very serious." "Ok, ok. Very serious. What do you know about them?" "I know that they're going around this town, looking for people to accuse of being demons. Months ago, those two were part of a "family." Led by Ethan Smith. Or as they call him: "The Father."
"Why do they call him that?" says Octavia. "Because he's a religious man. Someone who believes in God." "Of course he is," says Loona. "So, what do we now?" says Octavia. "Well, we need to wait until your friend's leg is better. Then, I'll see if there's a way to get you two out of this town; without them knowing." "We can't leave without the book," says Loona.
"What do you mean?" says Francesco. "When they shot at us, I dropped a book. I bet they took the book back to their base. We have to get it back." "Why do you need this book?" "Because it's my dad's book," says Octavia. "He would be so mad if I went home without his book." Francesco then thought to himself: "Fuck. If that is true, then that would mean I would have to go back there to get it."
Francesco looked over at Octavia and said: "Ok, I'll see what I can do. You two can stay here as long as you want and I'll deal with the agents." "Are you sure? These guys are really good," says Loona. "So am I."
