Chapter Five:Clutches of Vengeance

"Deidara-senpai! I've found something!" Tobi exclaimed, holding up a scroll.

Deidara tore his gaze away from the captive female and turned to his partner, eyeing the scroll with suspicion. As he momentarily diverted his attention, he felt his grip on the girl loosen, and she swiftly wriggled free. Shocked by her audacity, Deidara's reaction was delayed. By the time he drew his weapons and hurled them in her direction, she had already reached the densest part of the forest.

"Get her, yeah!" Deidara bellowed, his frustration mounting.

The chase was short-lived, for the kunoichi's energy was waning. She glanced back, growing careless in her desperation. A jutting branch snagged her, causing her to stumble and collapse onto the forest floor. Her pained groan brought a wicked smile to Deidara's face. Tobi reached her first, standing guard to ensure she wouldn't attempt another escape. Deidara strolled up, satisfied with their successful capture.

She is mine. Revenge will be mine, he mused, a malevolent gleam in his eyes.

Deidara noticed the girl struggling to rise, her scrapes already starting to mend. Determined to prevent her from healing or fleeing, he tackled her, using his weight to pin her down. He deliberately seized her injured arm, relishing in her screams of agony. Her other appendage was forcefully pulled behind her back and firmly gripped in his hand.

"Where are the restraints?" Deidara demanded.

Tobi rummaged through his pouches, searching for something to bind the Leaf ninja. Though he hesitated, concerned about the rough treatment she was enduring, he reluctantly handed the restraints to Deidara.

"Here, senpai," he replied before walking away, engrossed in examining the scroll. As he glanced over his shoulder, Tobi couldn't help but voice his curiosity.

"Why are we capturing her, Deidara-senpai? Why not just kill her?" Tobi asked, his tone laced with genuine confusion.

Deidara paused, considering Tobi's question. It was true that their mission had initially revolved around exacting revenge, but now that they had Sakura within their grasp, the situation had evolved.

"Sakura-chan holds valuable information," Deidara explained, his voice tinged with a mixture of excitement and vindictiveness. "She was the one who killed Sasori, and I want to make her pay for what she did to him. But she may also hold answers about other Leaf shinobi, their strategies, and potential weaknesses."

Tobi nodded slowly, starting to grasp the bigger picture. "So, we're capturing her to gather intelligence and make her suffer?" he queried.

Deidara's smirk widened, an almost feral glint in his eyes. "Exactly, Tobi. We'll break her spirit and extract everything she knows. And along the way, we'll ensure she experiences the same pain she inflicted upon Sasori."

Tobi's visible eye widened, a mixture of awe and unease flickering across his features. It was a chilling reminder of the brutality lurking beneath Deidara's seemingly carefree demeanor.

"Understood, Deidara-senpai," Tobi said, his voice slightly subdued. He turned his attention back to the scroll, trying to push aside any lingering doubts about the path they had chosen.

Deidara, his focus on Sakura once again, whispered venomously in her ear, "Prepare yourself, Sakura-chan. The torment you'll endure will be nothing short of exquisite."A shiver coursed through her body, fueling his sadistic pleasure. "Are you afraid of what I'll do to you now that I know, yeah?"

Sakura's feeble struggles only fueled Deidara's amusement as he pressed her into the unforgiving ground. He could feel her futile attempts to break free, but her strength was waning, leaving her helpless and vulnerable.

Is this really happening? How can she resist me like this? He couldn't help but smirk at her tears of frustration streaming down her face.

As Deidara fastened the restraints around her wrists, he took pleasure in tightening them beyond necessity, relishing in her pained wince. His chuckle reverberated through the air, adding to the torment he was inflicting. Leaning into her, his body close, his breath caressed her neck and ear, igniting a renewed fervor in her struggles.

Deidara jerked her up, disregarding her cries of pain, her injured arm bearing the brunt of his force. He pushed her toward Tobi, who caught her and held her firmly, while Deidara delved into his bag, molding clay in his hands. As the clay took shape, forming a bird-like contraption, their means of transportation, Sakura's defiance grew stronger.

"Where are we going, Deidara-senpai?" Tobi's voice carried a hint of confusion.

Deidara paused for a moment, considering his response. The significance of their mission began to unveil itself, transforming what Deidara initially saw as a mere waste of time into a potentially rewarding endeavor.

"We're heading back to the compound," Deidara explained, his voice brimming with a mix of determination and intrigue. "First, we need to unseal the scroll and uncover its contents to understand why they were here. But there's more... we might find valuable information about the Kyuubi as well."

Tobi's eye widened with realization, understanding the gravity of their mission. The prospect of obtaining vital intel about the powerful Nine-Tailed Fox sparked a newfound sense of purpose within him.

"Understood, Deidara-senpai," Tobi acknowledged.

As they continued their journey, Tobi couldn't help but wonder what secrets the scroll held and how it would shape their plans for the future.

Deidara remained focused on their captive, his mind fixated on the impending interrogation. The prospect of unraveling the mysteries held within the scroll and extracting valuable information about the Kyuubi only heightened his resolve. Revenge and power were within their grasp, and Sakura would play a crucial role in their quest for dominance.

Sakura's futile attempt to escape, flinging herself over the bird's edge, triggered a swift reaction. Deidara's hand swiftly caught her, preventing her from evading their clutches, as he firmly placed her back on the flying clay contraption.

"Tsk tsk, we can't have that, now can we?" Deidara's voice dripped with sadistic delight, halting Sakura in her tracks. Watching her closely, he began weaving the seals for a sleeping jutsu, a victorious grin spreading across his face. Her desperate pleas and stammering pleas to stop only fueled his satisfaction.

"N-no! S-s-st-stop!" Sakura's voice trembled with desperation as her consciousness wavered, eventually succumbing to the sleep induced by his jutsu.

The journey to the Earth Country was long and arduous, but Deidara and Tobi pressed on relentlessly. They traveled northward, their pace steady as they made their way through dense forests and rocky terrains. The Earth Country's mountainous landscape posed its challenges, but their determination pushed them forward.

"It's going to take a day to reach the hideout," Tobi commented, checking their map and estimating the remaining distance. "But if we were on foot, it would take three times longer."

Deidara glanced at Tobi, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Well, lucky for us, we have this little bird to speed things up," he said, patting the clay bird beneath them.

Tobi nodded, understanding the advantage their clay creation provided. The flying contraption allowed them to bypass obstacles and cover long distances in a fraction of the time it would take on foot. It was a crucial asset for their missions.

After hours of flying, they finally caught sight of their destination—a hidden valley surrounded by towering mountains. The valley served as a stronghold, offering both shelter and security for the Akatsuki. Deidara skillfully maneuvered the clay bird through the narrow passage between the mountains, descending into the secluded valley with caution.

As they descended, the breathtaking scenery unfolded before their eyes. Lush greenery blanketed the valley floor, interspersed with glistening streams and blooming wildflowers. The mountains stood tall and imposing, acting as a natural barrier that shielded the hideout from prying eyes.

With practiced precision, Deidara guided the clay bird toward the entrance of the hideout, a massive stone structure nestled against the side of one of the mountains. The landing platform awaited them outside, a solid foundation amidst the wilderness.

The clay bird touched down gracefully on the platform, its wings folding inwards as the duo disembarked. Deidara and Tobi stepped onto the solid ground, surrounded by the serene yet foreboding ambiance of the hidden valley.

Tobi helped him secure Sakura, who was still unconscious from the sleeping jutsu, and they carried her inside the hideout. The dimly lit corridors were eerily quiet, save for their footsteps echoing through the empty halls.

They reached a section of the hideout where cells lined the walls. Deidara selected an unoccupied cell and pushed open the heavy metal door. Inside, the cell was small and barren, with only a hard bed and a small window near the ceiling. It was a place designed to break the spirit of its inhabitants.

Deidara carefully laid Sakura on the bed, his eyes lingering on her face for a moment longer than necessary. There was an odd intensity in his gaze, a mixture of curiosity, anger, and something else—an unfamiliar emotion that briefly flickered across his expression. But before he could delve deeper into those emotions, Tobi interrupted, breaking the silence.

"Deidara-senpai, we should leave. We need to secure the perimeter and lock her cell," Tobi reminded him, sensing his partner's distraction.

Deidara blinked, snapping back to reality. He nodded and reluctantly tore his gaze away from Sakura, closing the cell door with a resounding thud. As the lock clicked shut, he couldn't help but feel a pang of anticipation for what awaited them—both in terms of the scroll's secrets and the torment they would inflict upon Sakura.

"We'll be back soon, Sakura-chan," Deidara murmured, his voice tinged with a mix of menace and excitement. He turned away, leaving the cell behind, with Tobi following closely.

As they walked down the corridor, Deidara couldn't shake off the lingering image of Sakura's face, her vulnerability, and the strange emotions that stirred within him. There was something about her, something that intrigued him beyond his thirst for revenge.

But for now, their mission took precedence. The secrets of the scroll awaited them, and Sakura's torment was about to unfold within these unforgiving walls.
