"DIE!"
BOOM!
A cloud of smoke irritated Izuku's nose and blinded him, but the teen managed to jump high in the air to dodge the predicted explosion. The boulder that was directly behind him wasn't as lucky. When some of the smoke disappeared, the Dragon Slayer saw a decent amount of damage occur to it. As it was, the rock was shattered into smaller pieces that were blown off a couple of feet away.
Thankfully no one was around for that bit of crossfire. Because no matter how much Bakugo had sharpened his fighting instead and honed his skills and quirk, he still lacks the ability to take notice of his surroundings.
Still, Izuku was impressed.
Not that he would say that out loud.
"Oi Deku! Stop daydreaming and fight me, damn it!"
He smirked at the blonde as he landed on the ground and stood up with utter grace. "Very well, Kacchan," He drawled, infuriating the other teen. "You asked for it."
"Forest Dragon's Leaf Blades!"
Sharps-like leaves shot out of Izuku's hands, and Bakugo hastily acted before those leaves reached him, which was impressive as they were going at a speed that would make most falter and panic. The teen learned the hard way that not only were the leaves somehow immune to his explosions, but they also cut skin.
The visible scar on his neck proves it all. But while the leaves weren't flammable, that didn't mean they didn't have the tendency to be blown away because using one of his strongest explosions to blow them away.
The attack was harmlessly blown away from the force of the attack and landed carelessly on the earth. A few of them even managed to stab the ground, which would unnerve anyone. But not Bakugo, not after having sparred with his rival in years.
It was then that Izuku was in front of him, using the wind part of his quirk in order to goddamn fly.
"Sky Dragon's Roar!"
Bakugo tried to bypass the harsh winds but failed and was blown away. When Deku finally closed his mouth, his back painfully collided with a tree bark, which surprised the blond that it didn't tip over and fell over painfully.
Ignoring the pain in his back, he stood up and snarled at his rival, who landed on the ground. It infuriates him that Deku went from quirkless to wielding five elements. Should emeralds be considered an element? Either way, Katsuki refuses to be left behind.
Bakugo took to the air and then used his explosions to propel himself in a circular motion to create a tornado. Izuku hastily placed his hand on the earth below him and yelled, "Earth Dragon's Earth Shield!" Pouring his magic on the ground, he managed to manipulate the earth to mold it into a wall. While the wall itself won't be able to withstand the attack, it will soften the blow.
"Howler Impact!"
As soon as the ashen-blind teen's hand was about to collide with the earth, an aforementioned powerful explosion, one that rivaled that of a missile, sent the earth wall into oblivion. Izuku, having known his wall would do nothing but slow down his Rival, shouted, "Dual Earth and Emerald Dragon's armored scales!"
The fire consumed the teen as Bakugo landed on the opposite side, panting heavily as he eyed the wall of fire with a knowing glint. Then came a shout.
"Water Dragon's Tsunami!"
Not long after, the wall of fire was consumed by a giant wave of water. And in the center of it, all was Izuku. His attack had burned his shirt off his skin, and his pants had certainly seen better days if the burn marks and holes on them said anything. Thankfully it didn't show anything in-between his legs.
But while his clothes just barely managed to survive the devastation, Izuku's skin remained untouched. He was covered in green and earth-like scales as he panted a little. Both boys wanted to continue despite having been here for almost three hours, and they certainly still had the steam for it. Unfortunately, their concentration was interrupted by a phone ringing.
Bakugo grumbled at the interruption of their spar and stormed to a surprisingly intact rock. The boys placed their school bags behind the boulder as a form of protection, despite its slim chance of survival. They didn't have time to go to their homes to drop off their stuff, so it had to do. He searched for his cell phone inside the bag before grabbing it. The ashen-blond teen scowled when he saw the ID of the caller.
"What?!" He snarled as soon as he answered the call and put it on his ear. "What the fuck do you want, you old hag?! I'm busy!"
Izuku, whose adrenaline had begun to dwindle, went to pick up his stuff. He could practically hear aunty screaming and basically chewing Bakugo on the other side of the phone. He was sure he would have still heard her without his heightened hearing.
"Fuck you, old hag!"
But the Dragon Slayer grumbled as he rubbed his ears and shot the teen an irritated glance. Why does his former friend and rival have to be so loud? At this point, he was going to go deaf.
Pulling his own phone from his school bag, all while trying to ignore what was occurring next to him (a fertile attempt, sometimes it sucks when he can't turn off his heightened senses), Izuku hummed thoughtfully when he saw that his mom had sent him a text that she was going to arrive. a little late and that she would pick up some food on the way for dinner. Sending her a text of understanding, he put his phone in his still-intact pocket.
Bless his mother. She worked so hard to keep them financially stable. Maybe he should do something for her later. Putting that thought aside for now, he eyed the ashen-blonde teen with a tired expression. By that point, Bakugo hung up and glared at his phone as though it had wrongfully offended him. Hey, on the bright side, he didn't blow up his phone—this time.
"Heal."
A green aura consumed Izuku and Bakugo, and their minor bruises and scrapes were healed instantly. Bakugo shouted how he didn't need his healing abilities, but Izuku didn't care. Eventually, both boys left the park unnoticed in utter silence.
"Fuck!" Scowled Bakugo at the aura before he eyed Izuku with disdain, "I didn't ask for your fucking help Deku!"
Izuku merely rolled his eyes, disgruntled by his constant yelling, "Yes, I'm aware of this Kacchan," The blonde teen scowled at him, but it didn't faze Izuku a single bit. "But I doubt you want to deal with aunty's antics if she saw your current state. I did you a favor."
The teen scowled and glared, "You didn't do me shit, asshole!"
"Uh huh…" Izuku drawled at him with a blank expression. "Whatever, I don't care. From what I heard, your mom demanded you to go home, so I don't envy you." Izuku remembered his lack of shirt when a cold breeze hit his chest. "And apparently, I need to go shopping tomorrow." He grumbled. "Seeing as you destroyed another of my shirts during that stunt of yours."
Bakugo scowled, "Tsk! Not my fucking fault you didn't move shit."
"I had to make sure you didn't accidentally start another fire." The Dragon Slayer rolled his eyes, his tone stressing his reason. "Last time we spared, you set a tree on fire. You're lucky I had water among my abilities to put it out before anyone noticed! Otherwise, you would have caused a wildfire, and we would have kissed our future hero careers goodbye for your recklessness!"
Bakugo scowled but didn't say anything.
"With that over with, we might as well go home." The green-haired teen eyed his rival with narrowed eyes. "Since aunty wants you home, you might as well go on and take the train or whatever." Izuku waved off lamely, not bothered by the scowl. It took a lot of his willpower not to smirk at the blond. "I, however, plan to squeeze in some last-minute training by jogging and working out in the local gym for a couple of hours before dinner time."
"Fuck no shitty Deku!" Sneered the teen, just as Izuku had predicted he would, "No way in hell am I going to let you get ahead of me again!"
"At least you admit that I was stronger than you back when we were brats." He quipped as he slugged in his school bag on his shoulder. Izuku ignored the string of curses shot at him as both boys began their jog. "Though, what will your mom say when she finds out you ignored her order?"
"Fuck you!" He snarled, "The old hag doesn't command me! I can do what I want."
"Whatever."

Artorious was smirking the entire time. Sure, he had been rather skeptical of this, but now he was pleased with the results. The brat's monah- oh, sorry, he meant mother, watched with Singrid on her side with interest as he finished off the ritual with the Forest Dragon Slayer.
Well, calling him a Forest Dragon Slayer wasn't accurate anymore. He was now an Earth and Forest Dragon Slayer. A bit of a fucking mouthful if Artorious says so himself. He figures calling him a Dual Dragon Slayer sounded better.
Izuku looked as though he was in a state of euphoria if the blissful expression on his face said anything. Singrid, the bastard, said that it was normal for humans to be in that state during the final stage of the ritual, and looking at the brat, he reluctantly agreed.
"There, the ritual is complete." He grinned excitedly as he eyed his successor. "Now that brat wields my magic."
He would never admit it because he refuses to fucking look inadequate, but he was uncertain if he was doing all right. He had never been one for patience, much less training his magic, but he managed to endure it and followed Singrid's instructions, and everything went smoothly. That is all that matters. He only hopes that those antibodies don't fucking fail. Else will fall into shit really fast.
He'd been wary when Singrid trained the boy with his Forest magic. The Dragon's King Festival and the death of his family members are still fresh in his mind. He had never witnessed Metalicana's demise, but there was no doubt that that abomination of a Dragon slayer had killed him already.
Though, the fact that Singrid had been confident of these antibodies calmed him a little, though he would never fucking admit it. Singrid had been the brightest in their group, always talking about that brilliant nonsense that made his head hurt. The Forest Dragon always loved to experiment with certain bits of magic. The antibodies he created were working because even he could feel how stable the magic was compared to the first Dragon Slayers.
On his very palm, the brat wielded two elements, and he was pleased to notice that the flow of magic was unbothered. When he sensed the spark of Ethernano when he started the ritual three days ago, he tensed. But he relaxed when the magic stabilized itself. If anything, the number of antibodies doubled, which Singrid assured was a good thing.
Artorious would remember how much the brat would train for hours with Singrid's magic, and he envied it. Back in Earthland, he held no desire to teach humans his magic and instead allowed his fellow brethren to take care of that. But seeing this boy, free of war and not filled with the burden of killing Dragons, he couldn't help wanting that.
When Astarot introduced the idea of giving Izuku their elements, Artorious was on board, as he wanted to train the brat. Plus, the water bitch wanted nothing to do with the plan, and he wanted to spite her out of this.
Singrid eyed the brat carefully, observing the end result before nodding in approval. "Yes, it would seem the process was complete."
Artorious grinned cockily.
"But this does not mean you are to keep him for yourself or for you to rush the process Artorious," The Forest Dragon warned. "Once Izuku has recovered from the aftermath, you are to train him so that he can have a better grasp of his earth magic. Once that is resolved, I will take him with to me so I can send him to Astarot."
The Earth Dragon grumbled but did not object. "Fine."

Izuku turned on the water handle to the desired water temperature and hummed in delight as the water fell from the shower head. The water temperature was slightly cool, making him purr as the water splashed into his worn-out body. He had come home exhausted from his jog and extra workout, having parted ways with Bakugo an hour during their jog.
As he expected, aunty Mitsuki was not pleased with her son not coming home. His still ringing ears said everything after that particular phone call.
After ensuring his mother knew he was home, he went straight to the showers. His tensed muscles relaxed a little as he savored the cool water and dipped his head, the water splashing his hair. As tempting as it was to fill in the bathtub and remain underwater for hours, his mother had dinner waiting for him, and his stomach demanded food in his system.
So after a quick shower, and a change of clothes, Izuku went to the kitchen table. His mom was already eating her take-out meal, a normal size portion for her. He sat down where his mother left him three large gut-busting takeout boxes worth of food for him.
Hey, when you have the appetite of five Dragons, you gotta do what you gotta do.
He clapped his hands and said, "Itadakimasu," opened his chopsticks before he dug in. Inko, eating at a slower pace than her son, who ate halfway to his first portion in a matter of seconds, let out a small smile.
"So, how was your day Izuku?" Inko asked, wanting to start a conversation.
The teen looked up. There was still some food in his mouth, so he swallowed. His mom had always expressed his table manners when he was young, and he refuses to face her wrath. Besides, he was never one for a slob. "Ah, you know, the usual School, training," He then rolled his eyes, his chopsticks picking up some bits of rice, "And Kacchan challenging for another spar." He grunted before putting more food in his mouth.
Inko smiled in amusement, "That boy." She shook her head. "Well, at least you had your fun."
Izuku shrugged, swallowing his mouthful of food before speaking. "I guess, though, I could do without him busting my ears with his yelling…." He paused and thought back to the earlier phone call he couldn't help to eavesdrop on and shuddered. "Though, I would do without aunty's shouts either. Somehow she is much worse than Bakugo."
Inko let out a giggle, and it didn't take long for her son to join in the laughter—just another day for the Midoriyas.

Sutorimu was beyond irritated. Singrid had asked her for a favor —a favor she wanted no part of but had little choice on that matter as the Forest Dragon was insistent. The favor being to take care of the brat. She couldn't remember his name again and, frankly, had no desire to call him anything but a brat.
At least the brat was quiet and keeping to himself. Without looking at him, she went swimming in her lake, the cool water feeling nice on her scales. It took her decades to get the lake to the length and temperature she wanted, but it was worth it.
Now if only she could enjoy it without the presence of the brat
Said brat was happily writing in that notebook of his. Where the hell he got it, Sutorimu would never know, nor did she care. Despite not focusing her entire attention on the brat, she paid attention to him. Because stars forbid her that if the brat got injured on her watch, she would never hear the end of it from her kin.

It was too damn cold. Izuku wanted nothing more but to bury himself in his warm bed and ignore the world. Now he understood why the Dragonkin slept all through winter. Inko had been amused by her son's antics but held nothing against him taking the day off training or doing community work.
Of course, he decided to pull through and left the comfort of his warmth for a hot shower. It didn't deter his mother's amusement, though.
"You always work hard, Izuku." She had said as he put on her jacket to go to work, all while eyeing Izuku, making himself a cup of hot chocolate to keep himself warm, "I wouldn't have minded if you had taken a lazy day today. Everyone else wouldn't mind."
Izuku would be lying if he said he wouldn't want a lazy day, but he decided against it. So half an hour after Inko left, he put on his sweater and red shoes before heading off to the animal shelter. It was cold, but he pulled through and let out a cold breath.
Sure, taking a train or bus would be faster, but… he just felt like walking. So after an hour or so, he made it to the animal shelter. He unashamedly took pleasure when the work of the heater warmed his somewhat cold body.
"Hey there, Midori." Called out Kaunta.
Izuku grunted in greeting, "Hey there, Kaunta. I see business has been going well." The green-haired teen said casually as he gestured towards a few people checking out the animals in their pens or cages. Dogs were barking for attention, a couple of parrots were screeching, and there was an occasional meow or two from cats. The staff and volunteers were working like madmen.
The man shrugged, "Meh, can't complain. Many pets were adopted into families and went to their new homes." He grinned, "At this rate, we might even run out of animals."
Izuku snorted, "Well, I'll let you be, I guess." He said as a mother and her four-year-old son came to the counter with their new Shikoku puppy. "Anything I can do to help?"
"We would never turn down your help." The man chuckled as he pulled out a contract for the woman to expect. The boy, in the meantime, looked as though he was going to put the sun to shame with how brightly he smiled. He was playing with the hyperactive puppy, who was just as happy. "As a matter of fact, we have recently gotten a few animals surrendered to us and are currently in quarantine!"
"So you want me to check em out?"
He shrugged, "Why not?"
Izuku chuckled and shook his head. He turned to the kid and gave him a friendly smile, "Hey." The boy turns his attention to him, "Nice dog."
The child smiled brightly at him, "Thank you, mister!"
Izuku chuckled, "Well, I hope you make him happy and give him a good home."
The child nodded fiercely, making the scene rather cute, "I will!"
"Good." And with that, Izuku went to the back room, where he knew where the quarantine animals were. Maybe spending time with some of them will ease him a little. Already he could hear some barks of a couple of full-grown dogs and puppies.
Location: Devaron Eisley Forest - Cliff Terrain
Time: 15:34 (03:34) P.M.
Day: Sunday, August 27th, 2348
On the highest cliff the terrain has to offer, Izuku had a goofy smile on his expression as he felt that familiar sensation of euphoria overtake him. He sank further into the comfort of Astarot's feathered body. The cool breeze on his skin was pleasant, and the feathers gave him a form of warmth. He was tempted to take a nap here.
"Don't fall asleep on me yet, Izuku." Astarot's amused tone just barely managed to get Izuku's attention. But Izuku was too lost in the euphoria to listen and instead snuggled closer to the Dragon, which in turn caused the Dragon to curl protectively around him, careful not to put more strength than necessary.
He had just completed his part of the ritual with the boy, and the Sky Dragon was content with how it went. Izuku reacted well, and Astarot was smiling. He had been skeptical about this. Sure, it had been his idea, but a part of him had hoped that Singrid would reject him.
And now…?
Well, it seemed that he needed to place more trust in his old friend's judgment. Because Singrid's hypothesis was right on the scales, he could sense how stable the young brat's magic was compared to the first Dragon Slayers.
"He didn't do that to me when I did that to him." Grumbled Artorious, glowering at the oblivious brat.
"Well, when you have the comfort of feathers, you can hardly compare that to the discomfort of those rocky scales of yours, Artorious."
The Earth Dragon shot Astarot a glare, which the Sky Dragon took amusement from, but said nothing and instead grumbled something unsavory under his breath.
"Enough," Singrid said sternly, not bothering to look at them as he was focused on the boy. "Artorious, if you are going to complain, I suggest you leave."
"I'll behave." Came the disgruntled answer.
Singrid ignored Artorious's grumpy mood and instead checked the boy. The Forest Dragon smiled and nodded in approval which caused Astarot to release his tension. "Wonderful job Astarot. The ritual has gone smoothly, and I can sense that the antibodies have tripled and that the three elements have settled well."
Astartot smiled and curled more protectively against Izuku. The child remained oblivious to everything around him.
"That is good to hear. Now I suppose I have to wait for his magic to settle before I teach him to control his sky magic?"
"Yes. Afterward, send him to Smaragdus for his part."
Astarot looked at the Forest Dragon with a concerned expression, Artorious also eyeing the plant-based Dragon with a wary eye, "Singrid, are you certain we should push it? I worry that we are pushing it."
Singrid gave him an assuring expression, "Worry not, old friend. I assure you I know what I am doing. At least, I believe I do." He muttered the last bit under his breath, which, unfortunately, was heard by the other Dragons.
Astarot did not look reassured one bit, but he trusted Singrid enough and thus remained silent for now. He just hoped the Forest Dragon really knew what he was doing. Artorious, however, scoffed, not deterred from expressing his opinion. "Fine, but if shit goes, I will kill you!"
Singrid rolled his eyes at the Earth Dragon's antics. "Everything will be alright, Artorious, so no need to be worked up." Singrid eyed Izuku, who had a peaceful expression on his face as he slept comfortably in Astarot's feathers. When he fell asleep remained unknown. "But I will ensure to find some countermeasures just in case."
"You fucking better." Grumbled Artorious.

Izuku knocked on the door as he carried a bag of groceries. The door opened, and an elderly man perked up upon seeing him.
"Ah, Izuku, come in, come in."
Izuku did as told, taking off his shoes upon entering. He placed the groceries on the counter, and the older man had his wallet. "Thank you for getting my groceries, lad." He said as he pulled out two thousand yen.
"I don't need the yen, Mr. Hisako." Izuku denied, shaking his head.
"Nonsense." He insisted as he gave Izuku the yen. "I have more yen than I ever need, and with a fine young lad like you, I insist you take some of it."
In the end, the older man made sure Izuku left with the yen. Izuku, a little uncomfortable, just left and went upstairs to his apartment. Maybe he could give the extra yen to his mom. Though knowing his mom, she insists he kept it as pocket money.
Well…he had his eye on a couple of seeds and plants…

"Again?" By this point, she was irritated. She had already taken care of the brat two days ago. Why so soon?
No, the real question was why was she the one always stuck in bratsitting? Sutorimu wanted nothing to do with him, and she made it clear. But it seemed the Dragons, especially Singrid, were insistent she spends time with the brat.
"Yes," Singrid said, hiding a hint of a smile. "I have to help prepare Smaragdus with his ritual."
"And why do I have to take care of the brat?" The Water Dragoness pointed out snidely, "Why not send him to Astarot or even the rock head?"
The Forest Dragon looked a little flustered, a rare achievement. "Astarot went to the clouds to feast on the air, whereas Artorious decided to sink underground for a nap," Singrid said as he placed his passenger on the ground with gentle care.
The Water Dragoness knew that the Forest Dragon was just looking for excuses for her to care for the Dragon Slayer. She eyed the brat, weakly smiling human, who was waving at her with disdain. It was bad enough that she could smell Singrid's magic on him, but to smell Astarot and the idiot's scents intertwined together?
It was infuriating.
Do they realize how much of a threat the brat would become if the boy succumbed to his instincts? They are creating another abomination, and she knew it.
"No."
The brat's face fell.
She made sure to stare at Singrid's eyes, not even look at his face. "I made it clear I do not want to be a part of your twisted idea."
Singrid gave her a disapproving look, "I suggest you keep your hostility to yourself, Singrid. And I am not asking you to do the ritual to Izuku Sutorimu. All I ask is that you keep an eye on him for a couple of minutes."
"I don't care." She snarled at him. "Get out of my domain! And take the brat with you! He is not welcome here!"
With that, Sutorimu returned to her lake. She had said her part, and he hoped that the rest of the Dragons got it through their thick skulls.
Izuku wanted to cry as he watched the water Dragoness disappear into the depths of her lake. Singrid gave him comfort in the form of his hand.
"Worry not, Izuku," Singrid said soothingly, "Give it time, and Sutorimu will warm up to you. All we need to do is be patient and cautious."
Izuku hugged the Forest Dragon's hand as a few loose tears fell. He could only hope so, he liked Sutorimu, and it saddened him that she hated him.

"Mr. Yagi, is that you?"
Toshinori, having been leaning on the railing in a deep state of thought, was surprised to hear a very familiar voice. A voice he hasn't heard in a couple of months. Sure enough, turning around, he saw the same green-haired teen: the same undercut hair and freckles.
"Ah, young Midoriya." Toshinori nodded at the teen, "Long time no see."
Young Midoriya grinned at him, "Yeah, been a while since I last saw you."
"I've been busy these last few months…." Not a lie, really. Toshinori had been quite busy, and recently he had gotten into a verbal fight with Mirai. They came to a bigger disagreement that left tension much thicker than it had been years ago.
Toshinori pushed those negative emotions away —no need to have this young man detect his foul mood.
Midoriya shrugged, "Well, it's not really my business what I do." He eyed the spot next to the older man, "You don't mind if I join you?"
Toshinori hummed negatively, "I don't mind." He smiled, "We can spend the time catching up if you want."
"That sounds nice."
And so Toshinori enjoyed the view of the beach in the presence of this promising young man. "How have you been these last few months, young Midoriya? Training hard?"
The teen chuckled, "Yeah, I've been working hard. There is a month left before the Entrance Exams in U.A. I really want to be prepared for the practical exam."
"I hope you've been studying too, young man." Toshinori said seriously, eyeing his companion, "For U.A. doesn't focus on quirks and brawns alone."
Young Midoriya sighed, "I know. Along with my physical and quirk training, I've been studying with my rival."
"Oh?" This seemed interesting. "You're rival, you say?"
"Yeah." He sighed again, exaggeration leaking through him. "We're not friends, but we are certainly not enemies. But we both agreed that if we want to make it to U.A., we can work together in covering our weaknesses and strengths."
That is perhaps one of many surprises Toshinori had heard. "I see…" Still, it was nice for this young man to have a healthy rivalry to push him further. He eyed Midoriya as the teen relished the cool breeze of the beach. "If you don't mind my curiosity, what is your quirk? I never had the chance to ask you last time."
Midoriya scratches his cheek, "You can call me Izuku Mr, Yagi. I don't mind." He paused to pounder, "And as for my quirk, I call it Dragon Element."
Toshinori hummed thoughtfully. "That is quite the name. And what is your quirk exactly?"
"Well," The teen looked almost proud as he spoke, "I can wield five elements similar to that of Dragon."
"Impressive," Toshinori said though he began to sweat a bit. Five elements, it almost sounded as if he had five quirks. It shouldn't be possible… He was probably overthinking this, so to ease his mind, he said, "Did you inherit your quirk from your parents?"
"No."
Toshinori tensed.
"But I do have distant relatives that have similar quirks like me." He said, unknown to Toshinori's sudden change of mood. "Their blood runs through my veins that I inherited from them."
Toshinori held back a sigh of relief as he relaxed physically. "Must be nice to connect with that branch of the family."
"Yeah." The teen smiled almost fondly that any lingering doubts in Toshinori's head nearly faded away. "They're strange and whatnot, but I love them. I plan to visit them after the Entrance Exam results come in."
Toshinori hummed. "That sounds nice."
"Yeah…"
They remained silent for a moment, Toshinori glancing at him occasionally, trying not to seem too obvious or suspicious of it.
"If he really is going to U.A., I must keep an eye on him." Still, something inside him made him wary of this young man. "Though, maybe I should contact Tsykauchi. Something about his quirk doesn't feel right…."

Smaragdus had wanted to do his ritual in the deepest part of his cave. He always enjoyed the comfort of the underground, especially when the sunlight could never penetrate through his domain. Astarot disagreed on that matter, but he was a Sky Dragon. A Dragon that relishes the sky more than anything.
Singrid didn't enjoy the comfort of the dark cave either, and he needed to be around in order to witness the ritual. So with little choice, Smaragdus was forced to do the ritual outside of his domain.
But the Emerald Dragon supposes that it was worth it when his magic had successfully bonded with the boy. Izuku looked as though he was in a state of euphoria as he clung onto his hardened arms.
Singrid eyed his work on the boy, and nodded, pleased. "Very well, Smaragdus. I suppose I will allow you to return to your cave until the lad's magic has settled."
Smaragdus grinned, getting up gently as not to crush his fragile passenger.
"I trust that once it's settled, you will teach him to have a better grasp of it."
"Yes." The Emerald Dragon nodded. "I should be able to manage, but what will occur afterward?"
Singrid hummed, looking at Smaragdus, "I have already made plans with Astarot. Both of us will guide Izuku with his healing magic. Though Astarot is superior in that department, my healing magic is unique on its own."
"And what about me and Artorious?"
"You and Artorious will focus on the offense and defense." The Forest Dragon said, smiling at the happy child in the Emerald Dragon's arm, "Artorious had volunteered to do the offense, which I suppose is a perfect matchup as you are more focused on defense."
Smaragdus agreed on that matter. Still, this doesn't mean he won't teach the brat some offensive skills from his side.
"In the mornings, Artorious will teach the boy his offensive skills and will hand him to you just before noon," Singrid said simply. "Afterwards, both Astarot and I will take Izuku and train the boy together."
"Sutorimu won't be causing any more problems, will she?" Smaragdus looked miffed at the reminder of their female companion, "She's been a real menace since we, at the time, considered doing the ritual to Izuku."
"Oh, don't worry about Sutorimu." Singrid said with a slight smirk, "I have plans to deal with her."
"And that is?"
Singrid waved off his interest, "Nothing for you to be concerned about. All you need to know is that it requires time and patience."
The Emerald Dragon grumbled.

"Man, I missed another opportunity."
Izuku looked at the news online and lamented at another loss at seeing All Might in action. He's been popping up more often in Masutafu, and the teen had hoped he would at least see one of All Might's battles.
But unfortunately, fate seems to be laughing at him.
Izuku sighed, "Oh well, maybe there is a next time." He looked at the alarm clock on his nightstand. It read 6:53. While stupidly early for an average person, it was late for Izuku. He had lamented about doing his daily jog but decided against it today.
Well, to be precise, his mom insisted he took a break today. While usually, he would go around his mother's suggestion, this time; she seemed…firm. He shivered at the thought of angering his mother. Because despite how kind and gentle Inko Midoriya was, if angered enough, she could show cruelty that would even make the Bakugos fear.
So he was looking at his computer, bored of his mind. He had finished his homework last night, and his mom had just left for work. So to ease his boredom, he decided to look in the Hero network to see if anything caught his eye.
Which unfortunately left him lamenting at his loss of even having a glance at the number one hero.
He decided to look for another video, and to his delight, he found one of Ryukyu's latest fights. Despite Ryukyu being nowhere near his Dragonkin's power or endurance, he was fascinated by her. She was the closest thing to this world having a Dragon.
Not counting his Dragonkin, that is.
It was a little disappointing that Ryukyu had no element, nor did she have the casualties of an Earthland Dragon, but it was still amazing. If All Might was not in his highest regard, the Dragon Hero would have been his favorite hero.
He watched with delight as Ryukyu, in her Dragon form, slammed down a giant villain, all while causing little to no collateral damage around her. It seemed there were a couple of villains with gigantification quirks here and there. But he isn't going to complain if he gets to watch the Dragon hero in action.
The video ended with the villain being defeated, and Izuku stretched in his seat. "That was fun." His stomach let out a Dragon-worthy roar. He patted it with a sheepish look, "But I might as well have breakfast."
Going downstairs, he debated what to eat for breakfast as he reached the kitchen. He decided on Tomago Gohan with a side of pebbles and a sandwich bag full of grass. His breakfast portion would normally make someone bloat, but it was a nice light breakfast to him.

Sutorimu, by this point, had gotten used to the brat. Singrid had stopped making excuses and would just drop the lad under her care without a second thought. The boy was always happy to see her and would always go to the lake with her.
And she had to question why the hell she started to feel exuberant whenever she saw the brat. Hell, how she gave in to bratsitting the brat.
When had she allowed herself to grow attached to the brat? Why did she allow herself to grow attached to the very being that reminded her of that abomination? She should hate the brat for becoming a weapon to slaughter dragons…
"Sutorimu!" Came the happy shout as the brat hugged her snout.
…
Despite all odds, she snorted at him, "Let go, brat." Her words just made him hug her tighter, refusing to let go.
She should push him off.
.
.
.
Damn brat.
Nevertheless, she decided to take the opportunity to sunbathe once the brat let go. The brat at least had the decency to remain quiet, so at least this wasn't as torturous as it used to be. Still, she could feel his small body's warmth on her cold, wet scales.
.
.
.
Ugh, she was allowing herself to grow weak, wasn't she? She blames Singrid and the rest of the Dragons for this, and she promises to give the male Dragons a painful earful and a scathing shower. She will ensure to do when the brat is gone so Sutorimu doesn't see his sad face.
