Alright this is the last time I'm updating this week... maybe. We'll see haha. I know some of you were disturbed by Edward and Bella's mating, but the worst of it is over! Hey, the first-time sucks for everyone. From here on out all lemons will be more lemony than disturbing. Anyways, Enjoy!
Chapter Thirty-Four
Edward and I spent the rest of our time cuddling as we recovered. As much as we both wanted to mate again, we knew it was best for us to recover. At least that's what Edward told me, because as soon as the pain from his seed implanting itself inside of me had subsided, I was ready to go again. The orgasm I had experienced from out mating was more than enough to convince me to go again.
Edward's arms tightened around me as his lips brushed against my forehead, "Your memories were very strange to me."
I looked up at him, "Yeah? Which one? I'm not exactly sure what you saw."
He chuckled. "I saw you as a young babe being carried by your father. He was a very small man. He did not have a tail. His appearance was strange to me."
I giggled. "Now you see why your appearance startled me."
He made a rumbling noise deep in his chest. "Yes, I understand now. If all of the men from your side were as small as your father, I supposed my size would be startling to you."
I giggled again. "Tell me more about the memories you saw?"
"You were crying, and your father was carrying you. He was talking to you, trying to soothe you. I am not sure why you were crying, but your knee was bleeding very badly."
"Ah, that was probably when I fell off my bike when I was learning how to ride. I had done really well, then, all of a sudden, I had to stop but my dad forgot to teach me about the brakes, and I fell off and scrapped my knee horribly."
"Another memory was of you and a boy," Edward said, his tone turning to a slight growl. "He kissed your cheek. You were dressed in a strange, sparkly… thing. You had paint all over your face. You looked very different. I did not like it."
"Yes, that was probably my eight-grade dance. My dad convinced me to go after Mike begged me to go with him. I didn't have any fun."
Edward made a face and shuddered. "The boy you were with was very small. I thought he was a girl, with his hair fixed the way it was."
"Edward," I chastised, playfully smacking his arm. "Stop, you cannot be jealous of a boy I will never, ever see again. Mike was very sweet and nice, just a little annoying."
"He looked like a girl," Edward shook his head. "Why did he look like a girl?"
"You stop," I said as I tapped his nose. "Not all men can have strong jaws like you. Mike was a little feminine, but he was very nice. And he is considered attractive where I'm from."
Edward grumbled again. "He was not a suitable mate."
"Good thing I am with you now, huh?" I chuckled. "What was my last memory? Did you only see three? That's all I saw."
He frowned. "There were no more memories."
I knew he was lying to me by his tone. I looked up into his eyes for the answer. Several images went through his mind, but the one that made me gasp was the one of my father, lying dead in his casket. Now I realized why he had lied to me.
"Oh," I nodded as I looked away.
"I am sorry," He said as his hands stroked my back. "I did not want you to know. You were... very sad in the memory. I did not want you to feel sad again."
I sighed heavily. "It's alright Edward. You weren't the one that killed him."
"I am sorry you had to feel that pain." He said as he pressed his lips against my forehead, "I wish you did not have to feel that."
I bit my lip and tucked my head under his chin. I was not really in the mood to talk about my father's death right now. "I think it's time for us to sleep."
Edward sighed softly and laid down with me on his chest. His hands rubbed my back gently, soothing me, along with his purring.
I was getting ready to close my eyes when my stomach moved in an uncomfortable way. It wasn't painful, just uncomfortable. I sat back up and placed my hand over my stomach, rubbing it gently.
"Are you alright?" Edward asked as he placed his hand over my stomach.
"My stomach feels weird," I said rubbing my bulge; it wasn't as hard as it was before. It felt squishy. I couldn't help but poke it with my finger.
"It is my seed," Edward said as he pressed hard against my stomach. "It is melting into your womb."
"Melting? Edward that doesn't make any sense. How could your seed be melting?" I asked.
"I am not sure what the correct word is, it is just the word we use to describe it," He said as he continued to rub my stomach. "Once my seed is inside of you, it melts into your womb so you can create the baby."
My brows furrowed, my hand still rubbing my stomach. "Ugh, if I could cut my stomach open and see what was going on, I'd do it."
Edward looked horrified at my words. "Do not say such things… that would be awful. You would die."
"I didn't mean literally Edward." I said. "I'd just like to know what's going on inside of my body. That's all."
"Oh," He said, still looking slightly mortified. "You should sleep now, before it becomes too uncomfortable for you. When you awaken, my seed will have melted inside of you, and you will be carrying our son."
I laid back down against his chest, my stomach still slightly uncomfortable. I let out a soft sigh.
"Will you rub my back?" I asked as I closed my eyes.
Edward chuckled. "Anything for you, my Bella."
He began purring and rubbing my back in a soothing way. While I was still slightly uncomfortable, Edward made me feel so much more relaxed.
I knew I was dreaming because I was standing in a dark hallway staring at four different doors. It was weird looking at the doors because I hadn't seen such structures since I travelled here from the other side.
The doors weren't labelled so, I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to do or which door I was supposed to go through. I decided on picking one randomly.
As my hand reached for the door, the wood slowly carved into a large jungle. The wood carvings moved as strange animals moved through the large leaves. I recognized some of the animals as animals from this island. I could even hear their strange vocalizations.
I grabbed the knob and opened it. Beyond the door was a clearing that was surrounded by a thick jungle. I spotted Edward in the center of the clearing, throwing his head back in laughter as he held a brown-haired woman.
A bit of jealousy coursed through me before I realized that the woman he was holding was me. I knew it was me. I was a little embarrassed by the jealousy I felt.
I watched as Edward nuzzled his nose against my face and whispered sweet nothings to me. I smiled as I watched the love he had for me. It could be clearly seen in his eyes.
It took me a few moments to realize that this was Edward's dream. He must be sleeping now too. I bit my lip smiling as I slowly closed his door, leaving him to dream in peace.
I walked back out into the hallway, moving to the door beside Edward's. The doorknobs were tied together with a golden string. The design on the door appeared like Edward's did. A few moments passed before the image appeared before me.
It was a mixture of the jungle and suburban life. I cocked my head to the side before realizing that the house nestled in the thick island jungle was my childhood home. I smiled as I reached out and traced my finger along the wooden design.
"I guess this must be my door," I said, my voice echoing in the silent hallway.
I tried turning the knob, but the door was locked. I guess that made sense. I knew I was currently dreaming, so why would my door be unlocked? This was my dream.
I moved onto the next door and waited for the design to carve itself out. I waited for several moments, but nothing happened. I frowned and reached out for the doorknob. This one was unlocked.
I opened the door and found nothing but darkness. While I was staring into nothing, I could hear something that sounded so familiar. I paused my breathing to listen harder so I could identify the sound.
I recognized it as Edward's purring. I smiled and walked further into the room. I closed my eyes as I listened to his soothing purring. It was the same purring he did when he slept. He didn't know he did it and I didn't want to tell him because I didn't want him to stop his sleep purring.
Through the purring I suddenly heard both mine and Edward's echoing voices.
"Are you alright?" I heard Edward ask.
"My stomach feels weird," I responded before a weird, squishing noise followed.
"It is my seed," Edward said, the squishing noise stopped. "It is melting into your womb."
"Melting? Edward that doesn't make any sense. How could your seed be melting?" I asked him.
"I am not sure what the correct word is, it is just the word we use to describe it," He said before the squishing noise continued. "Once my seed is inside of you, it melts into your womb so you can create the baby."
The squishing noise intensified. "Ugh, if I could cut my stomach open and see what was going on, I'd do it."
"Do not say such things… that would be awful. You would die." He sounded so horrified as he said this I just had to giggle.
"I didn't mean literally Edward." I said in a tone that I recognized as my 'duh' voice. "I'd just like to know what's going on inside of my body. That's all."
"Oh," He grumbled. "You should sleep now, before it becomes too uncomfortable for you. When you awaken, my seed will have melted inside of you, and you will be carrying our son."
I heard myself let out a soft sigh as the squishing noise stopped.
"Will you rub my back?"
Edward chuckled. "Anything for you, my Bella."
As the conversation ended, a small flickering light appeared across the room. I squinted at the light and took a hesitant step forward. When the light stayed the same, I took several steps forward until I was staring down at the beautiful light.
"H-hello," I said to the tiny baby that was curled up in a small ball sitting on top of the seemingly floating red cushion of light.
The baby made a tiny squeak and rubbed its tiny fists over its face. I leaned forward and gently touched the baby's cheek. It let out another squeak, causing me to giggle.
The baby rolled completely onto its back, its legs falling open and a tiny pintel tumbling from between its legs. He opened his eyes, blinking several times at me. I recognized the beautiful blend of red and gold eyes.
"Hello little one," I cooed gently as I lifted the baby out of its strange bassinet. He yawned, revealing four sharp canines. I nearly dropped the baby when something was wrapping around my arm. I looked down to see a tail wrapping itself around my arm.
As I stared down at the baby, a sudden realization washed over me.
"Y-you're my b-baby," I whispered slowly. "Y-you're mine and Edward's s-son."
No one, not even Esme, warned me about this… they said nothing about hyper realistic dreams. I mean, my dreams were already pretty vivid, but this was insane. Holy shit. I was holding my baby.
I wanted to be horrified that I was looking into the face of my soon-to-be son, but I couldn't help but melt into those beautiful, big eyes. Eyes that were shaped like mine. And a nose that was eerily similar to mine.
The baby let out another whine and wriggled in my arms. Its tongue licked its lips before it stretched into my arms and turned back onto its side.
When it turned, I felt the strangest sensation inside of my stomach. My actual stomach. The strange sensation caused a wave of nausea to wash over me.
I heard a horrible retching sound, and a nasty taste entered my mouth along with a burning sensation in my throat.
"Bella, wake up," I heard Edward call, followed by another retching sound.
The room around me began to shake and slowly started to fade away. I placed the baby back where I found him.
"Goodbye little one," I said to him. "Um, try not to make me too sick, okay? I really hate throwing up."
The baby closed his eyes and settled onto his side. I smiled at him and walked back to the open door, hoping to wake myself up.
As I stepped back out into the hallway, my smile slowly faded…
There was a fourth door.
This was a very strange chapter and I know that! I hope you enjoyed it anyways!
