Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Lions hunting Wolves. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Ben-TO, Asaura and a few others do.
Raion felt nothing but pain across his skull. His rage blossom slowly, filling like a balloon as he growled. He pulled the note from his head, looking around as he did so. There was plenty of time to think.
"Damn that woman." Raion stated as he shook his head. "She's going to pay when I find her again… All this for bento?" Raion questioned before he hummed, unsure what was going to happen next.
He knew Ayame was crazy, or at the very least? There was some amount of insanity inside her head. Raion was quite eager to get to work with his revenge.
"There's a point where I question how she's not broken." Raion muttered to himself as he paused to look at the letter. "A party? Is she…? No, she has to be messing with me. I refuse to believe anything else at this time." Raion stated to himself, looking over the letter as he did so.
There was only so much he could believe about this. The longer he spent around her and her gang? The more he began to believe insanity was just the normal. It wasn't like he had much reason to worry, he could fight her and he was quite sure she had some type of plan regarding him.
"Whatever the hell this plan and game she has planned is?" Raion stated as he started walking, clicking his head. "I don't know what will happened next. There's plenty of work to be down." Raion added as he grits his teeth.
'My sweet little lion, it's so nice to hear from you like our last game. If you're reading this? It means the ticket I sealed inside is ok. It's ready for someone to arrive at the party I'm hosting. I expect you to be there, it would be quite rude for you not to be there. I hope you're not too mad at me for how I set this up. I promise it will be fun eventually.' Raion read, sighing as he did so.
This game wasn't up. He still had more moves to make. He was ticked, but there was nothing that he could really do. There was plenty of work to be done and not much time to do it.
"Damn that crazy chick." Raion muttered as he sighed and began to walk towards home. "Knowing her? She'll be back sooner or later." Raion stated, rubbing at his head.
He didn't understand how this woman could think of everything as a game like this. They had gone from merely being people who knew each other to being mortal enemies.
"The longer I stick around here?" Raion questioned as he closed his eyes. "The longer I end up putting people in danger. Well, the only real people who I put in danger is going to be her and me." Raion added before he closed his eyes.
He knew there was plenty of work to be done before she was dealt with. If he was smart? He'd be going to counterattack her.
"This woman is something else entirely." Raion stated before the sound of footsteps caused him to turn around. "Making her fight me with a damn fork. I don't know what's more insane, her for assuming me fight her, or me for assuming something like this. I don't think I'm going to enjoy running into her again." Raion stated before he turned, frowning as he did so.
The more thoughts that swelled through his head? The more it hurt. There was far too much on his mind for him to think clearly. He knew something was going on, was there another move when it came down to it.
"If I run into her again? I'm going to scream, though." Raion muttered, letting out a yawn. "Maybe she'll break into a police station for bento, get herself arrested or something. She sure seems to get a kick out of driving us up the wall and such." Raion added and cracked a smile.
It amused him on some level. There was just too much fun buried under the terror. Still? This woman seems to be fine with driving us up the wall. Then it came down to him when it comes down to it. Raion stayed silent, unsure of what to do next.
If there was one thing he couldn't really deal with? It was finding out why this woman was after him. There was plenty of holes in her reasoning… Or maybe the blonde-haired woman was just unhinged. It was always like she was just crazy and he was under attack by her out of spite or something.
He was quite unsure of his next move, but he did know that she was going down sooner or later.
He decided to find out more about her at the moment, curious as to her motives.
