Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Lions hunting Wolves. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Ben-TO, Asaura and a few others do.

To Ayame? There was nothing better than watching her friend start to panic when they had done something that pulled them from what little footing, they had.

Her feet hit the bottom of the pool with a splash as her glasses floated from her head. She gazed at Raion who had simply gazed at the floating woman with interest in what she had done. She had been rather off today and it seemed to make him think she had plotted something and simply hidden it from him before today had ended. It'd be far too easy to ask her if he knew anything about her when they had battled? It was that she had been able to hide things for a long time and throw them at him at the last second without letting him know what he had down to it.

"Hmm." Raion said before he started to let her float from under the waves while having simply rolled his eyes and sighed to himself. "She's an insane woman who's constantly throwing me off when it comes to their topics. Why am I so thrown off by this topic at the moment? It helped that she's not at the top of her gain yet." Raion stated before he smiled to himself.

The more time that he had been ready for her tactics? The less sure he felt in his ability to stop her. She was as shifty as the sand on a beach and it showed with each second that they were here. The more time they placed into this game? The more interesting it became for both of them.

Neither wanted this game to be over with. The smiles they showed to each other as he splashed water in her direction? He blinked for a moment.

"Why was this the plan if I'm honestly wondering what the hell you planned to do?" Raion questioned with another raised eyebrow with far more annoyance than he had any real reason for it to be.

Still? It was far more than what he seemed to appear to believe it to be. The idea that this was a trap? It was another perversion that she wished to spring on him and it wasn't something he wanted to be tricked by at the moment.

She wanted him to be in her trap? He'd be inside her trap for a while and watch to see what she did next. Ayame was a snake. Yet she was also one who constantly had a new plan in her corner which made her so interesting to watch. It made him wonder if she was simply trying to throw him off balance so he wasn't able to foresee what her plan was. this was something interesting.

"This water is warm." Ayame heard as she raised an eyebrow towards him. "Don't think that. I'm a lot of things yet I'm not going to do something that stupid." Raion said while he simply rolled his eyes.

She smiled at him despite all the annoyance in his glance it was a mockery of him in the purest form. It was simply something he dealt with despite how he wanted to best do something. It was so damn annoying despite how he wanted to be. This was far more interesting than what he had expected.

He sighed to himself as he rolled his eyes and simply planned how to conquer this mission. It had been a lot worse than he had been before now.

"Well. Feel free to relax. This isn't a war day and it'd damn well be annoying if I had to deal with the fact that you'd ruin it as of the second." Ayame stated while she kicked a foot higher into the air as she did so. "We need to handle this and at the moment? It isn't helping when it comes down to it. play in the damn pool. Stop being a baby. You're supposed to be the leader of a street gang who's at war with my friends and yet they can't handle a little water? Seriously?" Ayame said with a raised eyebrow to which he simply rolled his eyes.

He splashed some water at her and seemed to swim in the chest-high water. He splashed around as if this constantly made him smile and it did. This was honestly a rather annoying thing to deal with if one wasn't ready for it and it showed in how he swam.

"Damn you," Ayame stated while she rolled her eyes to herself. "This isn't as enjoyable as you appear to believe it will be," Ayame stated while she crossed her arms across her chest and appeared to ponder what to do next.

It was honestly a delight to see her more annoyed the second he stared at her with a small smile as he did so. She glanced at him as if he had simply been a shark and her the prey that she preyed on. Neither dared to bother the other as they glared at the other with a frown as they crossed arms across their chests.

The tension between the two only made it worse as they were well aware of the facts. They were well aware of what came down to it. this battle was something that needed to be done.

Still? Neither wished to stand down nor admit they were in the wrong as it went. Someone might roll their eyes at this and huff at the fact that they had still wanted this dance that set them this way. It was silly and insane.

And both of them wanted it no other way. This was fun for both. It was fun they didn't want to end as of now. it had simply been too much to manage.

Yet? At the same time, it annoyed her to no end what was happening. It simply seemed to come down to if her side or his was on the wrong end of this conflict. Perish the idea in their heads at the time

She splashed some water towards him while the two started to circle each other as if they were sharks. She had planned for this to happen when it comes down to it. Still? She was far more annoyed when she considered it.

It had been rather odd as to what to do next. He was smiling towards her before he rolled his eyes before she slowly started to swim under the water as he did so.

He was rather interested in what to do next when he considered it. Both he and she had an honestly weird when it came to their topics as she pondered what to do next.

He was still starting to swim through the water as he seemed towards her while he started to swim around with far more interest when he considered it. There was a lot more amusement present on her face before he did so.

There was a lot on her plate when it came down to it. She smiled at him when it came to their tactics and how best to handle this as of now. She had plenty of what to do next before she smiled before he floated towards the rest of the wall.

He was honestly pondering how she'd handle the rest of the battles with her. He pondered what to do next before he sighed before leaning on the wall while he started to question how to bring her down. She was not one to back down when he considered doing next.

He was smiling and questioning what to be to defeat her once more. Honestly? It was terrifying how well it seemed to be when it came to the topic of battle. They had done this so many times that it honestly

Yet at the same time? He didn't once expect her to back down from these types of battles. She wanted to do so much more and he stopped her from this deed. It was all started to be written across their faces as of yet. He was honestly happy to see her at her best considering how insane this was and how crazy she tended to be when it comes down to it.

Still? Neither dared do much when they considered it. She had a lot more on her mind. So much was to change and so much had to be controlled at the time. The sooner this ended? The sooner she had what she wanted.

Ayame started to kick her feet back in the water as she paddled towards him. He said nothing towards her as he seemed to only roll his eyes at her with a sigh. She was odd, but he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy this company. It was odd in its way.

"How many battles are we going to have before this war ends? I don't think it will be normal to carry forks around in public any more than usual." Raion questioned which made her ponder. "Not that it isn't weirdly silly in its sort of way. It isn't as if I hate it, just don't want anyone hurt." Raion said in a way that made her smile to herself a second later.

It had been true. She had a lot more reason on her mind not to draw the war out more than it had been at the time. The sooner the war ended was the sooner she could focus on more bento. This 'War' was a formality in her book, and it seemed a lot as if she had more on her mind than simply the war efforts with her friend.

Plus, both sides knew that fighting over bento was a lot sillier than anything. There were still rules that had to be followed at the time before the war properly came to an end

"I promise to go easy on if I get the next box of bento," Ayame said in a tone that dripped with amusement on it.

It was still good fun. Both had been having fun despite all of the problems when it came down to it. She had become helped when it seemed to happen at the time. She seemed to glance at him before she seemed as if she had been floundering for the type of advantage.

She seemed to glance at him before she seemed to question her chances. They had become sharks at the moment before she seemed to quest what to do next.

She had been prepared for many things, not only did he seem to question what her goal was. He had been interested as of the second, now? She had dragged him into the depths of the second. This had become a far larger conflict between their emotions.

She smiled at her and it seemed to show her. It had become a lot harder to understand at the time. Raion seemed to cross his arms and he sighed to point out what to do next.

He seemed as if he had been to question when it came down to it. He smiled at her as of he had down to it. He had been perhaps questioning when it came down to it. She seemed to ponder what to do at the moment.

If she wanted power? She had it at the time and he smiled at the time.

this was going to end sooner or later.
