"Yes, you can take it as a threat." I said, "I've been fighting a divorce battle for a year now. I don't mind fighting another court battle for child custody."

I had no idea what the fuck I just said, but she was pissing me off.

"Are you kidding me?" she said incredulously.

"No." I said.

"Alright! Do whatever you can." she said, "Now there is no way I'm going to let you be near her."

"Fuck you." I said as I disconnected the call.

Why the fuck had I ever fallen for her!

I wished I could go back and change the past!

"I never knew the groom's sister was so sexy," I heard Mike Newton commenting to Felix, and I felt like beating the shit out of him.

I always hated him, but he was getting on my nerves with the way he was flirting with Bella.

"That was the sexiest dance move I ever saw, Ms. Swan," he shouted.

"You liked it?" Bella winked at him.

I stared at her in disbelief. What was fucking wrong with her!

And then I saw them flirting and dancing together for the next hour! I wasn't sure why exactly this was irritating me more than it should have!

"You should stay away from Mike." I said to her when that fucker was out for the bathroom break, and I got a chance to talk to her.

"Excuse me?" she said.

"Look, I know Mike. He's a douchebag. He's a playboy. He's an asshole. He's..." I said.

"Oh really? And what are you?" she asked as she folded her arms across her chest.

Well, ouch, but she was not wrong!

"Yeah, I'm one, too, and that's why I'm saying, stay away from him!" I said.

"What? I know how to handle a playboy, alright?" she said, "Did James ask you to do this because he's busy being the groom?" she chuckled, "Edward, I'm not a kid anymore! I just completed my graduation, and I'm soon heading out for my MBA. So I'm an adult now, got it?"

Yeah, I knew that.

I wasn't sure what was fucking wrong with me!

This was Bella!

I had known her all my life.

She was my best friend's younger sister!

Why the fuck was I having feelings for her that I had no business having!

Don't do something stupid. I kept reminding myself for the next two days.

She was too good for me!

And she was leaving for Cornell for her MBA next month! There was no way we could have a normal relationship, and there was no way I wanted to have just a casual hookup with her. She deserved better!

And if this went wrong, James would kill me!

C'mon! We were not teenagers. What was I so afraid of?

"Ummm... Would you like to go out for dinner with me sometime next week?" I finally decided to ask her after the wedding was over.

She looked at me as if I was a ghost!

"What?" she asked.

"What?" I said.

"What? Are you being serious?" she asked.

"Yeah, I guess I am," I smiled.

"Huh!" she said.

"Yeah, huh!" I smiled.

"Ummm... Someone told me yesterday that I should really stay away from the playboys." she said.

"That's true. But well, I heard you telling someone that you do know how to handle a playboy!" I chuckled, "So I'm giving it a shot."

"Ummm... Yes." she smiled.
