Down by a river, Tsuki scooped some water into a bucket while Mako comforted a sleeping Yukinari.

"Man, it's hot! I pretty much forgot about the seasons while staying at Yōkai Academy," Tsuki said to herself. "Hey, Mako-san, has Yukinari-kun woken up yet?"

"*SIGH* No, not yet," said Mako. "He doesn't seem to have any severe injuries, but he seems to be too exhausted after using too much of his power from that battle."

"Man, I was so surprised that Yukinari-kun had such power to defeat that monster," said Kumaru. "But still...why is he so frightened by the human world?"

"I guess there's lots of things that we don't know about Yukinari," said the pink-haired vampire boy, "or even wizards and witches—the hybrids between humans and monsters."

Just then, the reporter and cameraman arrive after having recovered from the monster attack. "Hey, is Yukinari-kun okay?" asked the cameraman. "Did he wake up yet?"

"No, not yet."

"So Yukinari-kun must be the witch that lives in the sunflower field, huh?"

"The witch? No," said Tsuki. "We arrived here from school on a research trip."

"No, huh? Well, my senpai and I have heard rumors that this area has had legends about witches living here...especially in the ranch, which we nowadays dub 'Witch's Ranch'," explained the cameraman. "But recently, there were plans to build a new factory around this area. Since then, people have been going missing. THAT is the reason why people have been scared: they think the missing people are the factory workers that angered the witch and met a 'divine punishment'."

"*MOAN*...Do-Don't go...blaming witches when you have no proof. Humans could never understand witches~desu," Yukinari moaned as he recovered.

"Then maybe we should just leave as soon as possible," said Mako. "We could go into the town where our motel is located. We might even be able to reunite with Nekonome-sensei and tell him about this incident."

"Well then, how about my senpai and I give you a lift in our van?" suggested the cameraman. "It's not that far anyways."

"Thanks, you guys," said Tsuki.

*BLOW*

"Huh?" Yukinari looked back as he felt the breeze flew quickly past him.

"What's wrong, Yukinari?" asked Mako.

"...Nothing. Let's go."

And so, the Newspaper Club followed the cameraman and reporter to the van.

"Oyakata-sama, those humans...are trying to flee after nearly destroying the sunflower field."

"Are you really going to let them get away with this, Rupert? Us wizards look out for one-another! Make sure that wizard joins us!"

"But...But it seems those humans who destroyed our field are FRIENDS with that wizard."

"Well...they must be merely humans. Kill them if they get in your way! Right now, we need as many allies as possible to protect our home...and punish those who would threaten it. You can bring that wizard to our side, right?"

"...Yes, Oyakata-sama..."

With a wand and sunflower in his beak, a crow suddenly emerged from a tree to follow the van.

Dropping the club members off at the city, the van drove off.

"God, it's SO good to be back home!" thought Tsuki. Just then, she noticed Yukinari shuttering everywhere she looked. "Relax, Yukinari-kun, there's nothing to worry about. *SIGH* I forgot he was nervous about coming to the human world for the first time; in fact, I'm the only one of the group to NOT be a monster."

Kōmura Nazo says:

Just to recap: Yukinari is a wizard, Kumaru is an incubus, and Mako is a vampire. WHEE!

Landing on a rooftop, the crow transformed into that of a human being. "Witches can hear the sounds of the wind and converse with the fairies. We are the race that uses the power of nature to our advantage. That's why it makes me sick when he stays in the city where nature has been destroyed; I'm starting to doubt if he's really worthy of joining us."

Just then, the two older Yōkai Academy boys noticed all the girls eyeing them.

"Hey, check out those guys over there."

"Yeah! The boy with the pink hair! He's so hot!"

"No, girlfriend! Check out that hunky man over there; his shirt seems so tight it's showing off his abs."

The girls suddenly ganged-up on the two boys, stampeding right over Tsuki and Yukinari.

"OW! What was THAT all about~desu? That wasn't very nice!" Yukinari slowly got up, trying to brush off the footprints on his body.

"OH MY GOD!"

"HE'S COSPLAYING!"

"HE'S SO CUTE!"

"MOOEEE..."

Just then, a bunch of female otakus ganged-up on the wizard boy, causing the boy to pull out his wand and go, "KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! LEAVE ME ALONE! PLEASE!"

*SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH*

Just then, all the light bulbs in the area shattered all at once.

"Holy shit! What just happened?" asked one of the townsfolk.

"YUKINARI-KUN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Tsuki suddenly grabbed the wizard boy and fled with her other boyfriends. "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE MAGIC IN THE STREETS!"

"You see, wizards can NEVER co-exist with humans." Holding his staff high in the air, the wizard summoned a murder of crows to descend onto the city.

"THIS IS WHY I HATE THE HUMAN WORLD!" yelled Yukinari down an alleyway.

"I know how you're feeling, Yukinari-kun," said Tsuki, "but I'm sure you'll get—"

"LIAR! You have no idea how I'm feeling, Tsuki-san! There's too much differences between humans and wizards that NOBODY could understand~desu!"

"DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO TSUKI-CHAN LIKE THAT!" Kumaru grabbed the wizard boy by the front of his shirt and began furiously shaking him. "YOU'RE MAKING HER FEEL—"

*CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW*

*RIP*

Just then, a crow flew down right in between Kumaru's legs, ripping the back of his jeans.

"WAH?! What the hell was that?!" the incubus boy yelled as he grabbed the back of his ripped pants.

*CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW* *CAW*

Soon after, the group were attacked by a huge murder of crows.

"GET AWAY!" screamed Yukinari. "LEAVE US A—MMF!"

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" screamed Mako. "WHERE DID ALL THESE CROWS COME FROM?!"

"SHOO! SHOO! GO AWAY!" yelled Tsuki.

"NO! DON'T COME NEAR ME!" cried Kumaru.

Just then, the crows flew away.

"They're...They're gone!" exclaimed Tsuki.

Mako looked around and noticed that something felt off...

"Where's Yukinari?!"

"Uhhhhhhhhhhh..." Yukinari slowly opened his eyes...only to discover that he was in a different location. "Wha...where AM I?"

"Ah, you're awake..."

The wizard boy noticed a young man right in front of him at the edge of the building they were on.

"So...how does it feel, little wizard? Living in a human city?" asked the man. "You looked like you were in big trouble back there?" The man turned around, allowing Yukinari to get a good look at the man's appearance: tThe man was wearing a jean jacket with ripped sleeves and a sunflower on the back, a black and pink tank top under it, white jeans, brown leather boots, and a red headband with a white skull in the front; across his left arm was the tattoo of what appeared to be a sunflower planted in the tip of a shotgun; the man had black hair growing out over his headband; in his hands were a wand and a giant sunflower.

Kōmura Nazo says:

Wait a sec! This dude looks like a biker about to get his ass kicked by a Terminator, NOT someone who would be hollding a sunflower—let alone having another one tattooed on his arm. WHEE!

"This city has NOTHING!" the biker wizard continued as he opened his brownish-reddish eyes. "No wind! No water! No flowers! Not even the smell of the green Earth we live on! NOTHING! Just a goddamn ego and selfishness! As witches, the only word we can use to describe this city is 'pathetic', right?"

*CAW* *CAW*

"WHA?!"

Just then, a crow flew down in front of Yukinari, frightening the young wizard.

"Oh, sorry about him. The crows are my friends; they're harmless...that is...if I command them to be. They've helped save you from those humans."

"Who...Who are you?" asked Yukinari.

"I am Rupert...Tōjō Rupert, a resident of the 'Witch's Knoll', and I want to be your friend, Sendo Yukinari-kun."

"YUKINARI-KUN! WHERE ARE YOU, YUKINARI-KUN?" Tsuki called out in the loud crowd. "*SIGH* Maybe Yukinari-kun was right: I didn't understand his feelings."

"NONE of us understood Yukinari's feelings," said Mako. "That's why we have to find him as soon as possible...so we can actually consider his feelings this time."

Looking up, Kumaru noticed a bunch of crows at the top of a building.

The two wizards looked down at the humans on the ground. "Humans...are our enemy," explained the elder wizard. "I know this...because I've been living among them. Humans have only one purpose in this pathetic land: to destroy everything. You should've understood that since you've arrived here: witches and humans canNOT communicate...and they don't even NEED to." He presented Yukinari with his giant sunflower. "That sunflower field you were in earlier, those humans are planning to destroy it. That is why...I need your help to stop them...?"

Yukinari slowly looked down at the sunflower he was holding. "...I—"

"NO!"

*FLAP* *THUD*

Just then. the door open and the rest of the Newspaper Club fell through it.

"PLEASE don't tell me you're going to that psychopath!" said Tsuki—being laid upon by the other boys.

"Tsuki-san! Mako-san! Kumaru-san!" exclaimed the younger wizard.

"How did you humans know where we were?" asked Rupert.

"We noticed the crows that attacked us earlier on top of this building," explained the human girl, "so we decided to investigate...and that's when we overheard your conversation...AND YOUR PLANS TO ERRADICATE THE CONSTRUCTION SITE!"

Kōmura Nazo says:

Oh shit! Someone's mad...REALLY mad! WHEE!

"Yukinari-san...forget about that, okay?" Tsuki held out his hand to Yukinari. "Come on. Let's go back...to Yōkai Academy"

Slowly, Yukinari held out his—

*SLASH*

"GAH!" Just then, a huge cut appeared on Tsuki's chest as she collapsed.

"No, Yukinari-kun..." growled the elder wizard. "Don't listen to those filthy humans." Six bladed wings sprouted out from behind Rupert's back. "All humans must...DIE!"

"TSUKI-SAN!" cried the horrified Yukinari.

"Why do you continue to fret over her! I am your friend now!"

"...No, you're not~desu!" whispered the angry younger wizard. "Wizard or NO wizard, YOU'RE NO FRIEND OF MINE, YOU SON-OF-A-BITCH! TSUKI-SAN! MAKO-SAN! KUMARU-SAN! THEY ARE MY FRIENDS! AND I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" he screamed at the top of his lungs.

"TSUKI" cried Mako in anguish.

"Mako-san, what do we do?" asked the paranoid Kumaru.

"...I-I don't know...I-I—"

"Give her your blood!"

"Huh?" Looking down, Mako noticed his Rosario Cross glowing.

"Don't just sit there, you pussy! Give her your goddamn blood if you wanna save her!"

Shuttering, Mako slowly picked up Tsuki's body and moved his head to her neck.

"Mako-kun, what are you doing?" asked Kumaru. "MAKO-KUN! NO! YOU CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE OF HER—"

*BITE* *BOOM* *FLASH*

A white light suddenly engulfed the area.

"GAH! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS LIGHT?!" yelled Rupert. As the light dimmed, he saw Tsuki standing up; her flesh wound quickly healed.

"I-Impossible!" the biker wizard shouted as he leapt into the air to float. "I hit all your vital organs! HOW THE HELL ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?!"

"TSUKI-CHAN! YOU'RE ALIVE!" Kumaru cried with tears of joy. "Mako must have injected some of her blood into her to make her a modified human."

"NOT FOR LONG, YOU BITCH!"

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

Rupert launched his bladed wings at Tsuki on the ground, but the modified human girl dodged all the attacks and then...

*BAM*

...leapt into the air and punched the enemy wizard in the gut, knocking her to the ground.

"...Tsuki-san..." whispered Yukinari in shock.

Kōmura Nazo says:

This chapter's climactic battle took 121 words! WHEE!

Just then, Tsuki's powers withered, and the girl collapsed into unconsciousness as she reverted back to that of a human.

"TSUKI-SAN!" Yukinari and the other boys rushed over to their girlfriend's side.

"M-Mako-san! How the hell did you know to inject some blood into Tsuki-chan?" asked the incubus boy.

All Mako could do was grasp her still glowing Rosario Cross and whisper, "I DIDN'T know..."

Later that night, Tsuki had recovered, and the Newspaper Club were back down at street level with Mako sitting next to the unconscious Rupert.

"Man, it's getting really dark, you guys. We can't find our motel and we've lost sight of Nekonome-sensei," said Kumaru. "It's not like we can go back to school either."

"Well, we can't leave this man here in the middle of nowhere," said Mako in concern.

"Wow...the stars...aren't even in the night sky," said Kumaru in a somber tone. "W-What's gonna happen to us now...?"

"Oh, don't worry, Kumaru-kun," said Tsuki. "I'm sure it's just."

"I'M SORRY!" Suddenly, Yukinari tearfully embraced the human girl and (unknowingly) burrowed his face in between her breasts. "I shouldn't have sided against everyone! I was just angry because you didn't understand me~desu."

"N-N-N-No, t-that's not true at all." Tsuki tried to push the human wizard away to try and comfort him (and move his face out of her cleavage). "You NEVER—"

"Ah! Hey, everybody! What are YOU guys doing here?"

Just then, the Newspaper Club members noticed Mr. Nekonome and Natsuki; the former having finished up his shopping.
