Around South Africa... Nancy Drew is on a case to find out the suspect who killed 5 teens and 5 kids at a mysterious school in the past, she traveled to Cape Town for an investigation.

She visited Mont Rochelle to meet the local manager named Giselle Badenhorst. "Hello," said Nancy, talking to the bellhop named Andre. "Hey, I'm Andre. What's your name?" said Andre. "I'm Nancy Drew, I'm looking for Mrs. Badenhorst." Said Nancy. "She's in her office." Said Andre. "Thank you," said Nancy.

Nancy goes to the hotel's office to find Giselle, who is finishing the conversation on the telephone. "OK, I'll be sure that everything's under control. OK, bye," said Giselle. "Hi, I'm Nancy Drew," said Nancy. "Hello, Nancy," said Giselle. "I just got a call from you about the missing journal called "The Book of the Lost Souls"," said Nancy. "Yep, it's true. Someone sneaked into the Iziko South African Museum and took the journal from the pedestal 2 nights ago," said Giselle. "Well, someone has the connection to the suspect or whether took it on his or her own. I'm honestly sure that I'll find out who is the thief," said Nancy. "Some people talked about the South African school shooting 3 years ago. Some crazy student was bullied at school for being an abusive boyfriend to a girl and was raised by his mother who punished him for domestic violence at home, but it was the day that he had enough of the bullying and his own mother who tried to do her best to be a good parent to him. He shot his mother with a pistol in his hand during an argument and then he goes to his school to take 10 kids' lives away, creating the school shooting on purpose. After the shooting, he disappeared and left his journal with the ten kids' names written. The killer was never arrested and never found years after the shooting," said Giselle.

"Wow!" said Nancy, shocked. "Shocking, isn't it?" said Giselle. "Indeed, I'm pretty sure that I'll find the suspect and the thief as soon as possible. As long as I'm here in Cape Town, I have clues to solve and find out who did the shooting and who stole the journal. Either they have a connection or not." said Nancy. "Thank you, Nancy. I would be proud. Here's the key to your hotel room." said Giselle, winking before she gave the hotel key to Nancy.

As Nancy is about to leave the office, a mysterious 21-year-old Irish-Black South African woman named Rosaleen "Rose" Zuma barges into the office. "Who the heck is that?" said Nancy as she is startled by Rosaleen walking into the office without permission, and running into Nancy. Nancy looked at her head to toe, Rosaleen turned around to look at Nancy back with her hands holding behind her back. "What the hey? Who the heck are you barging into my office and running into Nancy like that?" said Giselle.

"You must be Nancy Drew, are you?" said Rosaleen. "Yes, and you are..." said Nancy, blushing and confused. "I'm Rosaleen Zuma, call me Rose. I heard that you are the detective of all," said Rosaleen. "I am, but why did you barge in like that?" said Nancy. "I came in to tell you about the school shooting. You see, I lost my sister named Julie. Julie was one of the ten students who got killed. I was 18 years old and a mother of a son. I'm currently taking care of my niece and my son after Julie died." said Rosaleen, stroking her own long wavy black hair.

"Really?" said Nancy. "Yes. And my apologies for barging into your office, Mrs. Badenhorst," said Rosaleen. "You're OK, just don't do it again. Scaring people like that," said Giselle. "Nice to meet you, Nancy," said Rosaleen, winking before she leaves the office. "Uh... You, too," said Nancy with a confused tone.

~In Nancy's POV

"So, her name is Rosaleen? I have never seen that woman so pretty, busty, and... curvy. She's more beautiful than anyone else, I mean, her light brown eyes are captivating like Lee Thompson Young's and her curly hair looks so... long and puffed up like a lion's mane. I know I'm into men, but I'm starting to become gay for her, surely. God, I guess I have to talk to her later while on the case. I feel like I'm being charmed by that woman with her charming appearance and her beauty already."
