It's back... IT'S BACK

Previously on The Owl House, Return of the Lost Son, a lack of customers in Bonesborough leads to Lincoln and Luz learning about the nine main covens that all witches are madated to join. After Lincoln wows the socks off all but two of witches, they are presented the Emperor's Coven and the event's special guests, Lilith Clawthorne, Eda's sister and Coven leader, and the Crimson Empyrean, Emperor's Voice and his chief enforcer.

Unable to handle Amity's bullying to Luz and King, Lincoln challenges her to a witch's duel and after performing an everlasting oath (with some hallucinations), and getting a grasp of the final elemental spells. The two apprentices clash against one another with everything they've got. Angered and frustrated by the Azarathians prowess outshining hers and impressing the assembled coven leaders, she puts Lincoln in between a rock and a hard place.

Something snaps and Lincoln goes berserk, completely mopping the floor of all who try to interfere save for Luz who manages to calm him down. The misfits escape the covention center after showing Amity a Light Rune Spell and beating Lilith in their own witch duel. Though this also makes Lincoln's existence know to the Emperor himself, who sends the Empyrean to try and conscript him. Meanwhile, a masked man we have become familiar with begins to awaken an army of artificial warriors, eager for their next encounter with Eda and her students.

However, this does make us ask. What has happened on Earth since the teen's arrival in the Demon Relam, Let us find out what this owl pellet has to show, shall we?

Noceda Residence, Royal Woods, Michigan

One week and two days ago

Until bedtime, Lincoln agreed to help Lucy with her poems. The next day, Rita and Lincoln arrive at the Noceda house and spot Luz, who is standing disappointedly in front of her house. The house is a two-story house with white walls and a gray roof, and many windows along the front. There is a driveway on the left side of the house and a walkway that leads up to the front door.

Lincoln: Hey, Luz.

Luz: Hey, how are you?

Lincoln: I'm expelled, but I learned that Lucy sympathizes with my plight, so I'm kinda okay now.

Luz is surprised at both details, looking at him worriedly before Camila appears out of the house.

Camila: (Exits) Oh! Oh, my baby! (Hugs Luz.) Now, don't worry. Summer camp is only going to be for three months. You'll be so busy balancing checkbooks and learning to... appreciate public radio, the time will fly by!

Lincoln: Eh, we're only fourteen years old. We can take care of ourselves.

Camila: (looks sternly) But don't always be fourteen years old.

Luz: But I don't like any of that stuff. I like editing anime clips to music and—and reading fantasy books with convoluted backstories.

Camila: Mija, your fantasy world is holding you back. Do you have any friends? Real ones, not imagined or drawn or reptilian?

Luz drops her book, disappointed while Lincoln looks at her sadly. She walks slowly over to the trash bin.

Camila: Summer camp is a chance to make some friends, but you have to try. Can you do that?

Luz: Yes, Mom.

Luz puts her book, The Good Witch Azura, into the trash bin. Camila's phone vibrates in her purse.

Camila: Oh. I gotta go to work. (Kisses Luz's forehead.) Your bus is coming soon. Text me when you get there. Cuídate mucho, mija. ¡Qué te vaya bien! / Take care of yourself, dear. Good luck! Come on Rita. (Goes on vanzilla)

Rita: (to Lincoln) Whenever it's good and watch that Luz doesn't make enemies or that she does damage (Goes up to Vanzilla)

The two go up in Vanzilla and leave the place. Inside the vanzilla, Rita looks through the car mirror at Lincoln and Luz, who the latter puts her hand in the garbage can, making Rita think she was looking for her book.

Camila: (looks at her) Are you okay?

Rita: (sighs), I just feel bad for Lincoln.

Camila: Hey, everything will be fine! Lincoln and Luz are going to make so many friends at camp, when they get back, they'll both be different people.

Rita: (whispers) One of them at least. (Camila blinks) I still think about what happened at school yesterday and I already have it resolved. I can probably sue them for discrimination against Lincoln. (sighs) But the situation at home is even more tense. Half of my daughters and even my own husband all treat him so badly and now he only has the support from me, Lily and now Lucy.

Camila: (raises an eyebrow) I thought that she...

Rita: If she was just pretending all this time, then the others wouldn't have bothered her as much. But continuing with the theme, Lincoln had the support of Leni and Luna, but they no longer live with us. At least he no longer has to deal with Lori and Luna. (sighs) I think the only solution I have left is to leave home with my three children.

Camilla: (eyes widen) Are you sure?

Rita: You know that my marriage with Lynn Sr. is rotten and we only play any part in the development and happiness of our children. But now I'm sure.

Camila: Well, if you're going to do this, you can stay at my house until you find a new place to call home.

Rita: Cami…

Camila: Hey, you know you'll always have my support. (She puts her hand on top of Rita's) We can be together and form a great family, a better one for your children. (blushes)

Rita: (Blushes and smiles) Yeah.

The two lean in and kiss each other on the lips for a minute before breaking up.

Rita: (laughs) If my relationship with Lynn wasn't that bad, I'd feel just as bad about this regardless.

They both laugh and Camila's phone rings.

Camila: (answers) Hello... haha. Ok, bye. (hangs up) The vet closed early.

Rita: Well, we have the day off and the children's bus hasn't arrived yet. What if we take them so they don't feel so bad?

Camilla: It's a good idea.

The two return to the Noceda house and when they got out they saw that the two are no longer there.

Camila: How strange, the bus shouldn't have arrive by now.

Rita: Maybe they're at the old house behind your place?

The two go to the old house. The house is an abandoned two-story house with white walls and a brown roof. It has a front door in the middle and two windows on each side of the door. It has four pillars in front, but the third one is broken. The house looks run-down from the outside with a large hole in the roof and two broken windows. The stairs are worn and there is moss hanging from the roof.

Camila: Luz? Where are you?

Rita: Lincoln?

The two arrive at the cabin where they saw "Luz" and "Lincoln", the latter looking more like a mess than Luz like he burst out of a coffin, wearing a tattered black hood to hide his face. Right behind the front door is the living room; there is a fireplace to the right and an abandoned armchair in the left corner. The living room is filled with abandoned items, and the floor is littered with old newspapers. Behind the living room, a staircase leading upstairs can be seen. The house has a hallway leading to two rooms and a basement, in which furniture and a water heater are found.

Camilla: Kids? Are you in here?

"Luz": (turns around nervously) Hello... fellow human! Um... your skin is weird!

"Lincoln": ...

Camila: (approaches Rita) Very funny. But, we were thinking, instead of taking the bus to camp, why don't we drive? We have the day off from work and you, Luz, will have full control of the playlist. (she offered them both a hand)

"Luz" and "Lincoln" looked at her in amazement and smiled. "Luz" takes Camila's hand and "Lincoln" takes Rita's hand, the latter noticing how cold and pale her son's hand is as he starts grinning.

Play music: The Owl House Theme

The portal appears and opens.

Luz and Lincoln appear, and appear to be going through the sky upwards, but the camera shows that it was upside down and that actually, they were falling.

Eda rescues Luz and Lincoln, and along with King, they appear flying the Owl Staff, in the direction of The Owl House.

The camera follows them to the Owl House.

It approaches the door, where Hooty is, Luz opens it and is seen twirling the staff, until she leaves it standing, Luz puts her right hand on her hip, and holds the staff with her left while Lincoln draws his sword and strikes a similar pose

Eda takes the staff away from her and Luz gets nervous, Lincoln giving a funny one while King stands in front of the camera to wave with his arms outstretched.

Willow, Gus, and Amity appear in three frames.

Willow makes a heart with her hands, Gus holds out his arms in celebration, and Amity just ignores, and turns her back, crossing her arms.

King appears holding a stuffed rabbit, along with many other stuffed animals around.

He pretends to rule these stuffed animals, until some of them fall on him, while other stuffed animals keep falling in front of the camera.

Luz flies over Bonesborough while Lincoln rides alongside, where she meets Tiny Nose, Willow and Gus.

Later, Eda and King are seen running from the guards, They help them escape, but later Luz loses control of the staff, and are chased by a creature.

Luz, Lincoln, Eda and King are on the roof of the Owl House, where Luz casts her Light Spell and Lincoln with his lightning, making it go into the night.

The Owl House

Return of the Lost Son

The Owl House logo appears, then the Light and Lightning spells streaks across it with background sounds. The theme ends there. Suddenly there is a dark chill which runs through the scene, changing the background to the Loud House on a dark and stormy night, making the logo a pale light with a sickly glow, a similar light on the owl's eyes.

Chapter 7

A House Divided

The Loud House

1216 Franklin Ave.

Later

After leaving "Luz" and "Lincoln" at the camp and leaving Camila at her house. Rita arrived at the house loud when she entered the house she leaned against the wall as she took a deep breath.

She went up the stairs and looked at the photos that were on the wall. One of those photos showed Lori feeding an infant Lincoln ice cream with a spoon, Luan, Lincoln and a baby Lucy on a mechanical pony ride, Lincoln and Lynn Jr. sharing a bath together, the two aforementioned children playing ball in the bathtub, Lincoln playing with his twin sisters and a family where all eleven siblings were sitting on the stairs smiling with their pets. The parents are standing with Lily who was being carried by Rita.

Rita: (looks at him sadly) We were so happy back then. What's changed so much since then?

Her thoughts are interrupted when her phone began to ring when she takes it out and sees a "Children group video call" Rita answers.

Leni and Luna: (on the call) Hi, Mom.

Rita: (smiles) Hello, my daughters.

We see that the two Loud sisters changed their clothes from the last time she saw them. Leni has her long hair tied in a ponytail, wears red crescent earrings, and has a white gem necklace around her neck. She now wears a seafoam green dress, with triangular sleeves, black pants, and light aquamarine green low heels. Luna still has her hair cut short and her clip-on earrings. She now wears a light blue sleeveless top with a dark blue jean jacket, she wears dark blue jean and black and white shoes.

Leni: How's it going?

Rita: Well, I wouldn't say very well.

Luna: (concerned) What's happened? Is Lincoln okay?

Rita tells them what happened in high school and the camp after telling him everything the two older Loud sisters were on the show.

Luna: Wait, they kicked him out all because his ears!

Leni: That's totes unfair.

Luna: If nothing. So uncool for the principal.

Rita: I know, girls. But I've already figured it out since high school. But the hardest thing I'm going to do is put an end to my relationship with Lynn once and for all.

Leni: Wait. You're not saying...

Rita: Yes, I'm going to end my relationship with Lynn and leave the house with Lucy and Lily.

Luna: Wow that's the hardest thing in a relationship. Respect, Mom.

Leni: If you are sure about this.

Rita: I'm ready. I will do anything and everything to insure the happiness of my son..

Leni: But what about sisters?

Rita: (Sighs) I'll try to make him come to his senses but I don't know if he or the others will listen.

Luna: Hey. I know it will be difficult but you always find a way.

Leni: Well, I have to go finish this fashionable dress. This project will just not end. Bye. (hangs up)

Luna: I'm surprised that she managed to be the president of accommodation over there at Reninger's.

Rita: (laughs) Yeah, I didn't even imagine it myself.

Luna: By the way, have you already told him about your relationship with Camila?

Rita: No, I haven't told him yet, but I'll tell her when I get back with Luz.

Luna: I know it will be good, see you.

Luna hangs up and Rita leans back on the furniture.

Rita: Well, it's time to try to make my daughters see reason. Well except for Lily and Lucy of course.

Unknown: Don't worry, we'll take care of that.

Rita freaks out and looks the other way to see that it was Lily and Lucy who were sticking their heads up the stairs.

Rita: How long did you...

Lucy: (Sighs) Since you arrived.

Lily: And we heard that you want to go and tell our sisters to stop treating Lincoln so badly and we want to help.

Rita: (surprised) Really? You want me to talk to everyone?

Lily: Well, not all of them, since it would be a hopeless case. But we can convince someone to be a person again.

Lucy: We'll also help pack our things when we leave here.

Rita: (surprised) Wait, do you know about…?

Lily: Mom, we're children. we realize things far sooner than we should.

Rita: Oh, well. But are you sure about this?

Lily: Yes, leave this to us. You go lie down and rest because you are too stressed right now. Come, Lucy.

Lily goes upstairs while Lucy looks at Rita.

Lucy: Sigh. I know we're not just leaving here because of Lincoln. There's something wrong with your relationship with the one they still call Dad.

Rita: If the truth is that our relationship has gotten worse since Lily was born. Go ahead and help. Maybe I need to lie down.

Lucy ascends and goes upstairs, leaving Rita alone.

Rita: What happened to this family?

Lisa and Lily's Room, Second Floor, Loud House

This bedroom contains Lisa's and Lily's beds. It also has a desk where Lisa concocts various potions and formulas and a small pink rug. The carpet is dark green (as is Lisa's blanket) and the walls are light green. It is located directly above the kitchen. Lily and Lucy enter the room while Lily locks the door.

Lily: Very good. Lisa's in the bunker so we can do this if you bother.

Lucy: And as you said, you plan to talk to them to see if we can change their minds.

Lily: Well, we're not going to change everyone's mind because it would be a waste of time, but we can change someone's mind.

Lucy: Who?

Lily pulls up the mattress on her bed revealing drawings of Lynn, Lana, Lola and Lisa.

Lucy: When did you write this on your bed?

Lily: Since last night, anyway here is our sisters. Obviously, we can't see reason with Lynn, (crosses out Lynn's drawing) Lola is way too evil and she only does whatever it takes for and/or to the person when it suits her (crosses out Lola's drawing) And Lisa, let's not even talk about her. (crosses out Lisa's drawing) And that leaves us with the only remaining person we can convince.

Lucy: Lana?

Lily: That's right, since unlike everyone else, she doesn't mess with Linc much, she just doesn't respect him, so she's

Lily pulls out a kind of wide, flat gray headband in the shape of an "M" with a circular pink pad in the middle and ends, some yellow stripes, and two blue fins on each end.

Lucy: A headband?

Lily: It's not some kind of mental reprogammer or whatever Lisa calls it. We just have to put this on Lana's head causing her to be immobilized and we can enter her mind to manipulate her a bit and make her come to her senses. I got the idea from a movie I saw with Lincoln and Luz called Inception, which by the way is a good movie, although the ending is kind of confusing.

Lucy: How are you going to get her to put that thing on it?

Lily: So (she said before raising her voice) Lana! There is garbage in our room.

Lana: (enters the room) Seriously where?

Lily takes advantage of the fact that she is distracted and takes off the Cap and puts the device on her.

Lana: Hey what are you… (drowns out before passing out on the ground)

Lucy: That was easy.

Lily: Now comes the hard part. Us going into our sister's mind and changing her perception of Lincoln.

Meanwhile, in the living room we see Rita lying on the sofa, still pensive.

Rita: Maybe I can, no I don't think it will work (yawn) maybe Lily is right I need to rest for a moment (closes her eyes)

Living Room, The Loud House

The door of the loud house will have been revealed to Rita and Lynn sr who arrived at the house with baby Lincoln in Rita's arms. The living room is usually where the Loud family congregates. In it is a television set, that includes a DVD player, and a couch and chairs to watch it on. The carpet of the living room is green, the walls are beige, and the couch and chairs are dark blue. The living room also has a fireplace and a brown coffee table.

Rita: Girls, we've home.

Lori (6), Leni (5), Luna (4), Luan (3) and Lynn (2) went down the stairs and approached their parents.

Lori: They literally took a while.

Luna: Is it a boy or a girl?

Lynn Sr: (bitterly) It's a boy.

Rita looks at him badly, but doesn't care and tells him while the baby is with her daughters.

Leni: Awwww. It's like so adorable.

Luna: Can I carry it, Mom?

Rita nods and she gives him to her. Luna looks at him but notices his ears.

Luna: Hey mom, her ears are different.

All the sisters hearing that come to them.

Rita: Oh, that's just an recessive inheritance he had from his father's family just like white hair is an dominant inheritance from my family. But hey. The baby needs to sleep.

Rita takes Lincoln up the stairs and into Lynn's room, who now has to share it with Lincoln. Rita lays Lincoln down in his crib while he gets comfortable causing Rita to smile and leaves the room.

When Rita was going down the stairs, she heard her daughters talking about him.

Lori: So our new brother looks like a goblin or an elf.

Lynn: Yeah it's one heck of a freak if I ever saw one.

Luan: But at least I can make jokes about his appearance now.

Leni: Hey, don't be like that with him.

Luna: If he is our brother, his appearance shouldn't matter.

Rita feels bad about the comments some of her daughters have made and heads to the room where Lincoln was sleeping.

Rita: Don't worry, I'll protect you. No matter what happens.

Lisa and Lily's Room, Second Floor, Loud House

Present Day

Lucy picks Lana up and lays her down on Lily's bed.

Lucy: Ok. I've already laid her down.

Lily: Great now we can get comfortable.

The two get comfortable and Lily placed another initiation device in her ear causing them both to immediately black out as they entered Lana's dream.

Lana's Mindscape

Lily and Lucy wake up and look around and see that everything was blank save for a blue watery plain the extends beyond eye's view.

Lily: What is this place?

Lucy: I think we're in Lana's mind.

Lily: But why is everything white?

Lucy: I think this is what happens when you knock out a person; everything goes blank.

Unknown: Wait? You two knocked me out!?

The two turn around to look at Lana.

Lily: Lana!?

Lana: That doesn't answer my question why I got knocked out. And where the heck are we?

Lucy: We are in your mind and you are a manifestation of your subconsious.

Lana: What! (points at Lily) And why is she here?

Lily: Because we entered your mind in order to stop you from treating our brother badly and to love him like we do too.

Lana: …. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (falls to the ground laughing)

Lily: (stares at her) Yeah, it sounded better in my head.

Lana: (still laughing) How funny, you should take up after Luan. (looks at her two sisters who had a 'seriously' look) Oh. Wait, are you serious? Ok then, waste your time. When I wake up, I'll tell Dad what you did.

Lily: It won't actually happen the device is made so whoever is dreaming can't wake up until whoever entered the dream willingly leaves. I.e., us.

Lucy: (looks at her) Did Lisa tell you how it works?

Lily: No. She'll usually make her inventions while she's asleep and leave out the manual.

Lana: Seriously, get to the point. Try to change my mind.

Lily: So. If that's how you want to play it, then so be it.

Lily snaps her fingers and the scene changes to the exit from Lana and Lola's room. The twins' bedroom contains Lana and Lola's beds. Lola has a fancy pink bed with a draped canopy, to go with her princess obsession, while Lana's bed is more plain-looking, with brown wood, and a dark green blanket and bedsheets. Also in the room is a play kitchen, a tea set and various stuffed animals (belonging to Lola), and a terrarium next to Lana's bed (belonging to her various frogs and reptiles). Their room has pink walls, a light puce carpet, and a window with lilac curtains.

Lana: What are you doing to my head?

Lily: I can also manipulate your memories to create visual replications. Anyway, let's begin.

Lana and Lola's Room, Second Floor, Loud House

Frog Wild

Memory Lana: That's awful. They can't do that.

Memory Lincoln: They're just a frog for us.

Memory Lana: So it's also not that becuase you're an elf and that we get made fun of because of you?! (she pushes Lincoln and goes to the door)

Memory Lincoln: Where are you going?

Memory Lana: Why would you ask? You don't care. (leaves)

The stage breaks down.

Lana: Why are you showing me this?

Lily: So you can see how Lincoln helped you.

Master Bedroom, First Floor, Loud House

In Rita's memory, we see the master bedroom. It has a closet where they keep their clothes, including Lynn Sr.'s tie collection. Their bedroom has beige walls and lilac carpet.

After the events of the No Such Luck incident, although it didn't end the same way as its main counterpart since when differentiating from the prime timline, it was Lynn Sr. telling Lynn from the beginning to invent the subject of bad luck to try and get rid of Lincoln, in addition to Rita, Leni and Luna and Lily. The four obviously didn't believe that, besides, Luna had the idea of hiding Lincoln on the balconies of the stadium instead of forcing him to wear the squirrel costume to help prove his innocence. Something that expelled Lynn from baseball and disappointed the so-called father.

After having resolved the misunderstanding and most of the sisters having reluctantly accepted that they were wrong and that bad luck does not exist. Rita and Lynn Sr. were currently in their bedroom and Rita was taking a sheet out of the closet and throws it at Lynn Sr. upsetting him further..

Rita: Of all the things you've done with Lincoln, this is without a doubt the worst. How you can get so mad at an 11 year old just because of his appearance for all these years!

Lynn Sr: (gets annoyed and throws the sheet on the floor) Because he's a monster! The only thing he's ever done for us is make us the laughting stock of this town! And it's because of him that all the people in town point at us and criticize us so ba

Rita: (angrily) Wow! I can't believe that I'm married to the most selfish man in the world who is so spiteful to a child who isn't even to blame for anything in the first place, that you are suggesting that we shoud have left him to die as a newborn a decade ago. I wanted to give him the life that he wanted before he passed!

Rita pushes him away and slams the door in his face.

Rita: (from behind the door) You're sleeping on the couch until you and Lynn apologize to Lincoln! And make sure you two mean it!

As Lynn Sr. gathers his things from the bedroom, neither of them noticed that Lincoln was listening in on the whole conversation from the bathroom vent above them, his hatred turning into dread.

Lana's Mindscape

Back in Lana's mind, which has changed to show a hallway at Royal Woods Elementary School. The three sisters see Lana's memory counterpart behind the corner and she sees the entire classroom go out to have lunch. Mrs. Johnson locks the door and as soon as she leaves.

Memory Lana takes out her locksmith kit and grabs one of her keys to open the door to Mrs. Johnson's room, but fails.

Memory Lana: Lightning is a surface-mounted bolt with a tumbler locking mechanism. I have to find another way in.

Suddenly the door opens out of nowhere, confusing the memory construct..

Memory Lana: Ok. What was that?

Memory Lana walks in and looks around and sees that no one was there. She just didn't care and grabs the frogs and goes out the window.

Lana: Like he helped me. I did all the work without anyone's help and it turned out very well.

Lucy: Do you think so? Did ever wonder about how the door was opened, and who was on the other side of said door?

Lana: (silent) I never wondered about that until now.

The setting changes inside Mrs. Johnson's classroom minuites earlier.

Memory Mrs. Johnson: Alright, class, when we return from lunch, we'll leap into our frog dissecting! (gets no reaction) Come on, people! I'm giving you comedy gold here!

The bell rings and the whole room comes out when the door is closed, Memory Lincoln comes out of hiding from a trash can and goes directly to the door and hers Memory Lana trying to force the door but couldn't do it. Memory Lincoln takes advantage of that and while she was distracted, he opens the door and quickly hides under the Mrs. Johnson's table when Memory Lana walks in.

Lana: (surprised) Lincoln? He did that because... wait, this is not one of my memories.

Lily: That didn't really happen, he told me and now I'm showing it to you, bleeding mine with yours.

Memory Mrs. Johnson walks into the room and finds that the frogs are gone.

Memory Mrs. Johnson: (gasps) My frogs! (sees Memory Lincoln emerge) Lincoln Loud! Do you have something to say in your defense!

Memory Lincoln: Well, I took out the frogs and let them go out the window. But I have a reason for this. (takes something out)

Memory Mrs. Johnson: (takes it) What is this?

Memory Lincoln: See it is a movie my sister made.

Memory Mrs. Johnson watches the movie and when she finishes, she has tears in her eyes.

Memory Mrs. Johnson: (crying) This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Memory Lincoln: You see, frogs are the same as people. How would you feel if it was the other way around.

Memory Mrs. Johnson: Okay. I'm not going to stop you, but I'm going to make something up to explain this. Go to the cafeteria and don't worry. I won't tell anyone what you did here.

The scene fades out showing Lana with sad puppy dog eyes.

Lana: He did all that for me? Even after how badly I and the others treated him?

Lily: And he didn't just do that.

Play Don't Look Back - Kotomi Ryan Elder

She forms more rifts, each one showing moments between Lincoln and Lana, along with ones from Lily and Lucy.

Lana: (shock) What is all this?

Lily: These are all the moments that Lincoln has helped you. Helped all of us.

Lana: He did all of that. I don't believe it.

Lucy: Lincoln's always like this. No matter how badly I and the others treated him, he always tried to help because that's what older/younger brothers do.

Lana just keeps thinking.

Dining Room, First Floor, Loud House

Nighttime

Rita has already begun packing her things before a voice makes her turn. The dining room is where the Loud family congregates for eating meals. Initially, only those over Lincoln's age ate there, but now, the entire family eats in the dining room. The dining room has the same green carpeting as the living room, but its walls are baby blue. It has a long table covered by a white table cloth, and eleven black chairs.

Unknown: Mom?

Rita gets up and sees Lily, Lucy and Lana, the latter running to hug her.

Rita: Girls, it's okay.

Lana: (sobbing) Mom, I'm sorry for treating Lincoln so badly.

Rita is surprised and smiles and hugs her back while Lily and Lucy have a fist bump.

By dinner time, we see everyone having dinner and none of them are aware of the kind-hearted souls have already packed all that they could carry.

Lynn Sr: And how was your day, Lynn?

Lynn: It was terrible! I was banned from the soccer team today, which means I've been banned from every last sport in the state for life!? (takes a deep breath and sighs) I'm at least happy that freak was expelled and more so now that he and that weirdo friend of his won't be here to bother us for this summer.

Lola: (sighs) Finally, we won't have any more problems these months because of those creeps.

Lily: (angrily stands up) I can't believe you guys hate him so much. He is our only brother! Why are you all so mean to him! What did he every do to you?

Lola: (scoffs) That creature stopped being our brother when he started to make the town laugh at us.

Lucy: (shakes her head) I can't believe that you are what I called my father and that you are what I called my sisters. I hope you all suffer a real hell for what you did to our brother!

Lynn Sr: (stands)Lucy Loud, you are grounded for talking to your sisters like that!

Lana: And you shouldn't talk to our brother like that either!

Lola: (confused) What are you doing, Lana? You should be happy that he's gone now, you hated him too or have you forgotten like Leni?

Lana: Well now I realized the mistakes we've all made, like Leni. He's our brother, whatever he is!

Lynn Sr: (furious) Stop talking about him! To begin with, he is not even your brother and our son!?

Everyone was shocked by what they heard while Rita had a very angry look towards Lynn Sr.

Lisa: Wait, what?

Lola: You're saying that the freak is not from that family? (chuckles) That someone makes me feel a whole lot better for punishing him for making me mad.

Lana: (looks at Rita with the others) Mom, is all of this true?

Lynn Sr: (smirks) Tell them Rita, tell them the truth.

Rita: (sighs) When we went to the hospital, your brother died when he was born and when we were heading back home, the one you call Lincoln fell from the sky in a rift as a golden comet and we met him off the side of the road, I took him in, raised him the way his namesake would despite your "father's" obejctions to leave him in that field

Lynn: And why didn't you leave just it there! It wasn't your problem! If you had left him to die back there, we would never have that freak in our lives, nor we would have any of the troubles that happened to us afterwards.

Lynn Sr: (begrudingly) It was your mother's choice, and she wouldn't hear any of it from me, Junior. If it were up to me, like you, I would've let him die back there in that crater.

Rita could no longer bear how they all talked about her son and punched Lynn Sr. in the face, surprising Lynn, Lola and Lisa.

Rita: (angrily) I will not allow you to talk like that about my son any longer. And if you only care about your daughters that badly, then you can try doing it all alone ME and the others are leaving.

Lucy / Lana / Lily: Yes!

Lynn sr: What do you mean?!

Rita: I mean I want a divorce?

Lynn Sr. was shocked while Lynn, Lola and Lisa were complaining but they already made their decision.

Play Borrowed Time (From Rick and Morty: Season 5)

We see Rita, Lucy, Lana and Lily packing their things and leaving the house when Camila arrives. The three of them get on and leave the house while the rest of the family watched him leave.

Lynn Sr: (watches him go annoyed) Let's go inside, who needs them anyway?

Lynn, Lola and Lisa entered shortly after, just as upset leaving only Lynn Sr to his thoughts in his room.

Lynn Sr: (loudly) Damn you, freak! Because of you, you divided this once proud family forever. When you get back from learning your place back at camp, we will have so much to discuss afterwards.

Unknown: No, Father. I don't think you will. All he did was be the lynchpin that kept this family alive. You only have yourselves to blame for this situation.

A new voice puts the ex-husband on edge as he starts looking around, that voice similar to his life's bane.

Lynn Sr.: Lincoln? What are you doing here? I thought you and Luz were being disciplined at that camp.

Lincoln?: They didn't. We did. They were on their way to that rehabilation center they called a camp until a little owl flew by and whisked them off to a place far more deserving of thier talents... and birthright. A place where you can never touch them. Even when they return, you'll find the cleated boot on the other foot. I see so much potential in the many uncontrollable embarassments that were sent here and I humored the camp conunselors. After the campfire, I heard word about this schism and came back here posthaste after a good chewing at our jailers. So here I was for the past several minuites, watching every last moment.

Lynn Sr. looks around the house, trying to find the source of Lincoln's voice, his loyalist daughters were confused by this, but let him be. He locates the voice from Lincoln's old room, where he is met by silhouetted boy around Lincoln's height put his pale hand on his throat, pulling him down to eye level.

Lincoln?: Shh. the demons are sleeping. Now I know what you're thinking. Who am I? What am I? (chuckles) Where is the fun in spoiling the mystery before it even begins? No, I want you all to know exactly who and what I am when that day comes. And when it comes, you will all beg for his forgivness.

The boy lets go and slinks into the darkness, leaving the fallen patriarch alone with his words.

Later

We see Camila, Rita and their daughters arriving at the house.

We see Camila looking through the door at Lucy, Lana and Lily getting comfortable in their new room.

Camila: (mentally) The house suddenly got bigger on the inside. (smiles)

Rita approaches her and hugs her from behind.

After a few minutes we see the two lying in Camila's bedroom while Rita takes out her phone and texts Lincoln. "How was your first day at camp?"

Lincoln: "I think it will be an interesting few months."

Rita smiles and turns off the phone and lies down, noticing a note which reads, "I'M STILL HERE."

References

Abraham Lincoln: The name is derived from the quote, "A house divided against itself cannot stand."

The Loud House: Three of the photos that Rita sees is from the season 2 episode 7B, "The Whole Picture", where Lincoln Prime accidentally erases all of his old childhood photos, so he and Clyde Prime try to recreate them before Lincoln Prime loses his memories.

Doctor Who: The phrase "Bigger on the inside" comes from the fact that the TARDIS has a much greater volume of space inside the police box it's disguised as.
