"Hey Pop," Jamie said as he opened the apartment door to find Henry standing on the other side. "What're you doing here?"

"I came to visit my great-granddaughter," he immediately replied with a proud smile as he walked into the apartment and let Jamie shut the door behind him. "… And you guys too of course. Now, where is she?"

"She's in our room with Eddie. You came at a good time too. She just woke up," Jamie informed him.

"That's why I timed my visit accordingly," Henry responded teasingly. "How's parent life treating the two of you? I feel like it's been a while since we've seen you guys. I know you stayed away from Sunday dinner last week because the baby was a little sick."

"Yeah. She's better now though. It was just a small cold. We took her to the pediatrician yesterday and they said that she was fine." Jamie glanced back toward the bedroom. "Do you want me to go grab her Pop?"

"Not yet," Henry said as he sat down on the couch. "Let them be. I actually wanted to talk to you for a minute."

"Okay," Jamie drawled out as he sat on the coffee table in front of him. "What is it?"

"You don't know this but… I have trust fund set up for Nicky, Jack, and Sean. For college and other types of expenses they might have down the road. Your grandmother and I set it up about a year after Nicky was born. Now that Grace is here, I wanted to add her to it."

"Pop…" Jamie said. "You don't have to do that."

"I want to," Henry replied. "I've gotten to see Nicky, Jack, and now Sean reach adulthood and start to live their lives. I probably won't get the chance to do that with Grace Margaret. I want to make sure that all of my great grandchildren are taken care of when I'm not around anymore, which now includes her. If you say no, then I'm still going to do it anyways so..."

Jamie let out a small laugh, "I know you are, Pop. Thank you. You don't have to do that but it'll be a great help in the future if we need it."

"I'll tell Eddie about it when she comes out here. Now, go get my great-granddaughter, Jameson," he demanded jokingly.

Jamie stood up, "I'm going. I'm going."

A few minutes later, Jamie came out of the bedroom holding Grace with Eddie following behind.

"Sorry Henry," Eddie said as she greeted her grandfather-in-law. "I would've came out sooner but I feel asleep while I was feeding her."

"That's quite alright," Henry replied as he kissed her cheek. "I would fall asleep standing up while feeding Francis to give Betty a break." Then, he glanced at Grace in Jamie's arms. She was staring over at him with wide blue eyes.

"Hi there, honey," he said softly, reaching over and taking the little one from Jamie. He pressed a gentle kiss to her head. "I haven't seen you in a bit. Hope you missed me because I missed you."

"She sure did," Eddie replied fondly. "You're the only other pair of arms that can get her to sleep better than we can."

They all walked over to the living room and sat down. "The main reason I came over here is because I have a gift for Grace. I was hoping to have it for when she was born but it wasn't ready yet." Henry pulled out a small box from his pocket and handed it to Eddie. "Open it up for me, sweetheart."

Eddie nodded and opened the box. She pulled out a small dainty freshwater pearl bracelet with a gold latch and small pendent hanging off the end.

"I had it made from Betty's favorite pearl necklace," he informed them. "She'd always said that she wanted to give the necklace to Nicky when she was old enough to take care of one. Unfortunately, she wasn't here to give it to her when she got older and I just remembered about it when Grace was born. I didn't want to leave Grace out so I had one made for both of them just so they have a piece of my Betty to carry around with them."

"Aww Pop," Eddie said as she eyed the bracelet. "This is so sweet. Thank you so much."

"Thanks Pop," Jamie said, walking over and hugging Henry.

Eddie reached over and hugged Henry as well. "I'll make sure to take really good care of this for Grace. I didn't get to know Betty but I'm sure she was a wonderful woman."

"She was," Henry replied. "And she would've adored you and this baby. Jamie was her little sweetheart so I know Grace would've been hers too."

"Grandma took me everywhere with her," Jamie recalled fondly. "I remember every Sunday until I turned ten, I would go grocery shopping with her. I loved it because she would always let me get something from the snacks at the checkout counter."

"She did," Henry smiled. "You and Joe were always the grandchildren who would want to tag along with us. I swear you two lived with us until you graduated high school. I miss those days."

Eddie gave a tender smile, "You know, Pop. Whenever you want to come over and spend time with the baby, you're more than welcome. Even if you want us to take her to you, we'll do it. I never got to know my great grandpa because he passed before I was born. I really wish I would've gotten to. I'm glad that Grace will get to know you."

"I appreciate that," Henry said as he ran a finger down Grace's plump cheek. The baby stared up at him and cooed. "I'm happy to still be here for her too."

Henry Reagan knew he was lucky. He had seen and gone through a lot in his life and thought his number would've been called a long time ago. A small part of him was surprised that it hadn't. He surpassed a lot of his buddies who didn't even get to make it to see a grandchild be born. Now here he was, getting to hold his fifth great-grandchild in his arms. For him, life couldn't be better.
