Andy was standing on a cliff. It was around midnight so it was dark outside but the moon was shining anusually brightly. There was a man on the cliff standing right next to her. He was looking at the water below. Andy leaned closer to the edge of the cliff, trying to see the water too. It was dark and the moon's reflection was gleaming on the surface. It had un anusual shape of a wolf. Then, suddenly a big wave showed up out of nowhere and went right through the strange reflection of the moon. The water in that area waved as the wave passed through it. When it calmed again, the reflection of the moon didn't look so strage anymore.

"So this is the volkvolny", the man's British accent surprised her because she was so focoused on the water that she forgot he was there. She turned around to face him. But this time he wasn't alone. There was that woman, she saw in the cave, standing next to him. She nodded.

"Волко́в боя́ться — в лес не ходи́ть", she said looking at the man. Andy understood it. It meant 'If you're scared of wolves, don't go in the woods'. The woman looked at the man with a serious glance, "It's a proverb. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And it means that we should take the risk, even though the stakes are high. The truth will win at the end, I promise".

The second she finished her sentence the ground around Andy started shaking. Everything got blury except the big frightening flames that were trying to reach her. Andy started running to escape the flames but she stumbled and fell in the deep, cold, dark lake. She was drowning.

Andy woke up in an instant. Her heart was pounding and her senses were alert, preparing to sense the danger. She felt drowsy and confused. For weeks she has had the same nightmare about the cave but this time the nightmare was different. She could still hear the man and woman's voices in her head. They sounded perfectly Scottish, something so beautiful, so familliar. The words in the other language that the woman spoke — Andy assumed it was Russian — were still echoing in her head. It was all overwhelming and out of order and Andy's mind couldn't make sense of it. The feeling of helplessnes crept over her but she brushed it away. She needed to go outside. It's been one week since she has been fired and just as much since she has left her appartement the last time. While thinking about that, Andy decided to go the park. She washed and got dressed. While doing that she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. She looked like a mess. Staring at herself in the mirror, she hoped the fresh air of the park would make the dark circles around her eyes dissapear. She put on some makeup so she wouldn't look so horrible and grabbed her jacket. Before closing the door to her apartement she remembered that she forgot to take her phone. She rushed back inside and took her phone from the nightstand. After Andy locked the door and descended down the stairs of the building to the exit, she looked at her phone. 1 missed call from Maya, 3 missed calls from Theo and 7 missed calls from Robert. 2 messages from Theo and 4 from Robert. As she was walking down the street she took a glance at them. It was obvious that they were worried about her. Even though she didn't respond to their messages or called them back, she was grateful that they were thinking about her. She remembered how worried Robert sounded when he came knocking on her appartement two days ago. She didn't open the door and he probably didn't know that she was there. She was just sitting on the floor and listening to what he had to say. He literally begged her to open the door. He didn't sound angry or furious, just worried. At some point she wanted to open the door but she couldn't because she was trying her best not to sob. Her eyes were closed and the tears were streaming down her face. When he eventually left, she ran to her room, crying into a pillow.

Andy shrugged and let the memory fade away. She needed to focous on "here and now" and not drowning into the past with every step she made. She walked for a while before she found a bench far away from anything and sat down. Andy knew it was a week day and morning, but she really didn't want to risk anybody seeing her, especially someone who might know her. She took a few deep breaths to clear her head. She thought of everything she has known. First, I am adopted. Second, I am supposed to be Scottish and the Social Help Centre where Michelle is working, helped to bring me to the USA and oganize my adoption. Third, my parents are unknown, which means they have either given me up or I was kidnapped of some sort. Andy wasn't ready to think about the last thing. She knew it was a possibility her parents might have simply given her up and didn't want to deal with too much bureaucracy, but somehow Andy just knew this wasn't the case. She thought about the possibility of having a whole familiy — somewhere in Scotland waiting for her. The thought was too tempting to be true, but still Andy couldn't help herself not to hope. After a long moment of thinking Andy decided she was going to get to the bottom of this strange mystery. Despite being scared of what she might find, Andy knew it was her life, her history, the part of her that she had yet to discover and she owed that to herself. She still couldn't explain how she could speak Russian — or whatever language was that. But that will have to wait. The decision has been made, Andy was somehow going to go to Scotland. But how was she going to do that?

Robert was walking around the barn. He needed to do something, but he couldn't put his mind to anything. Natasha was in her office, working on some paperwork. He's been avoiding her the entire week, since the fight with Andy. He was mad at Natasha for firing Andy, and when Natasha tried to talk to him after that event, he snapped at her. Deep in his thoughts, Robert didn't know where he was going. Before he could realize what he was about to do, Natasha already opened the door to her office and let him in. The silence fell over the room for a minute.

"So you finally came to apologize", Natasha said, smirking. It seemed like a logical thing to do, according to the fact that he snapped at her a week ago. Damn, he should be sorry for that, but her words made him only angrier.

"No", he took a pause before continuing: "You fired Andy because of me".

Natasha sighed:"No I didn't, and are we really going to fight again...over her!?"

"We aren't going to fight but listen; you are scared that Andy will come between us. Even though I proved many times that me and Andy work together professionally and are good at our job, you still doubt in me, in my ability to work with her. When it comes to me and Andy you always seem to look at her like a threat. Why is that Natasha? You don't like her but I won't just cut her off because of that. She was the first friend I had when I came to 19 and our history makes it impossible to just forget about her."

Natasha's face went red: "She hurt you and I was there to pick up the pieces! I was always there for you and I guess you still can't see how she manipulated with you. Would you ever consider stealing drugs from PRT if she wouldn't be around?!"

Having romantic jealousy of Andy was one thing but blaming her for his bad actions that he did completly on his own was something else. See, you were wrong about Natasha and you didn't move on from Andy but you must at least try to be happy. And you are trying to find happiness with the wrong woman, his mind almost sang out the words but this time it actually had a point. Robert cleared his voice: " Andy never manipulated me, at least not like you have when you convinced me to shoot that man in front of a child. You made me believe it was for the best, you always do. But it was in fact what you wanted and not what was the best thing to do and you're keep doing that. I believed that I could move on from Andy, that I can be myself without this bleak feeling inside me. Maybe I will never be able to do that, but I won't let you judge her or disrespect her because of that. Natasha, we weren't made for eachother then and we aren't good together now. I think it's best for both of us if we break up."

Natasha's face changed. She didn't expect that, Robert thought. But it was done and there was nothing else to say except: "Goodbye, chief Ross".

Robert left and didn't look back, he needed to help Andy even though she didn't want him to do so.

Andy was scrolling down the computer's screen. She was nervously watching to the door of the office, paying attention to any sound of footsteps that might be heading to the office.

After the walk in the park Andy went to Michelle's. She convinced her she needed to get some information about some social help for a "person she rescued in a fire". Of course Michelle hadn't known Andy got fired, otherwise she'd never lend her keys to the office and login password for the Centre's database.

Now, Andy was searching for anything linked to her adoption but because that happened so long ago, she couldn't find anything fast. She didn't want to risk people seeing her, because it would mean putting Michelle's job at risk. She pulled some old files from the archive. There was too many of them to go through in time. But the number on one of the files seemed familiar. She clicked to open it but it was sealed. She knew Michelle wasn't enough important at work to get the password for sealed files but she knew one person who was. A guy that was working in the office next door. He had a major crush on Michelle and was rather boring. Andy's mind went gloomy. She couldn't do that. Of course I can, her mind was torn. Andy walked to his office.

"Hi John," Andy spoke sweetly. She hoped she looked enough attractive to distract him for a while. She flirted with him and lied to him for as long as it took to get him out of the office. When he finally left to check "when he'll be off work, so they can go on a date", she searched his desk. Lies are easy, truth is difficult. When she found what she hoped it was a password, she rushed back to Michelle's office and tried to open the file. Andy let out a relieved sigh when the file opened. She looked at the file. There was nothing about her parents, only girl's — Andy's description. Apparently Andy had a Scottish accent when she was a child. She looked further and there it was, what she was looking for. She still had Scottish citizenship. That's why father never let me on school trips in Europe, hit Andy like a lighting. Andy couldn't risk being in this building a little longer. She went home.

That's it for this chapter!

Andy had another nightmare and she found out she still has Scottish citizenship due to the fact that her adoption wasn't really accurate. Robert fights and breaks up with Natasha. What will happen next? Will Andy go to Scotland?
