The Royal Tutor Arrives
(Shoppai Namida (Salty Tears) by Shougo Sakamoto-Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine (The Royal Tutor) OP AMV/Lyrics)
(Theme Song | Sofia the First | Disney Junior)
(Third-Person POV)
*As Heine Wittgenstein (a short man with dark salmon-red hair, pale skin, reddish-amber eyes, & wearing a black cap with white & gold accented lining, a long black single-label trench coat with white & burgundy accents over a dark brown vest that was over a white collared shirt, a black gold-tipped black tie, black fitted pants, & black heeled ankle boots walked up the stairs of Weisburg Castle, behind the Queen Mother, he thought back to the letter he had received a few days ago*
Herr Heine Wittgenstein
As King of Granzreich, I invite you to the palace as the Royal Tutor. I have been fortunate to be blessed with two Princesses and five Princes. My Eldest is a fine candidate for the throne. Yet I cannot discount the one-in-a-million chance that an ill fate awaits him. Thus, I would appoint you as tutor to his four younger brothers. To groom them into worthy potential successors to the throne. As I see it, they are still unfit to rule. To prevent the difference in abilities among individual tutors from causing unfairness in their growth, I would have you oversee their studies with an equal hand as their sole tutor. If any of them to rival their eldest brother in worthiness of the crown, then at that time -
(Chrissy's POV)
*My brothers & I sat in the parlor together (which was dark for some reason), waiting for our new tutor to arrive. I sat in a chair in front of the window, in between Bruno & Leo. I had a light blue bow my hair & wearing a blue dress (look up "Rosalina - Katarina Claes (Child)" by "Katlime" on "DeviantArt"). My brothers all stood around near me*
Leo: Why do we even need to bother meeting the new tutor? He'll just ran away like the rest of them.
Bruno: I agree. If this one can't meet my standards then there's no point in even remembering his name.
Licht: Same here. I couldn't even care less about lessons anyway.
*Kai just stood quietly*
Chrissy:*sigh* Come on, guys. We should at least give him a chance. Who knows? He might be different from the tutors you've met before.
Leo: You wouldn't say that if you had actually met them face to face.
Chrissy: Ok, true. I haven't met any of the previous tutors, but I'm wiling to learn whether you guys are or not.
*Just then, the doors to the parlor opened & a very short man entered the room. I couldn't see his face because it was so dark. He then stopped & kneeled in front of us*
Heine: Freut mich, Your Royal Highnesses. My name is Heine Wittgenstein. From today forth, I shall be your tutor
*Suddenly, Bruno & Leo opened the window behind me, letting light into the room. Mr. Wittgenstein looked up at us with surprise. I looked at the new tutor & was surprised by his appearance. He looked only a few years younger than me. My brothers smiled at him, but I could tell they were fake*
Leo: It's a pleasure to meet you, Herr Wittgenstein. *Mr. Wittgenstein looked in awe of us* We welcome you with open arms, Herr Wittgenstein . . . *just then, Leo's face turned into a scowl* Hardly.
Chrissy:*in her mind* And . . . The act ends.
Leo: Did you honestly expect a warm welcome from me? *Mr. Wittgenstein looked shocked at my brother's words* Before making the error of thinking yourself important, let me warn you. No matter what my Father's orders, you're nothing more than a teacher. A mere commoner. I, fourth Prince of the Kingdom of Granzreich, Leonard von Granzreich, will not allow you to order me around. Understood?
Chrissy: Leonard!
Leo: What?
*Suddenly, Licht came up behind Mr. Wittgenstein, grabbed him by the arms & began to swing him around, while dangling him*
Licht: Teeeeach! Gotcha! Ooh, ooh, teach! Are you really a grown up? Wooow! You're so light and tiiiny! Have you always been like this? Exactly how tall are you!? Tell meee!
Heine: . . . Excuse me . . .
Leo: Dammit, Licht! I wasn't done talking!
Licht: You can't hog him, Leonie! I wanna talk to the tiny teacher too!
*Mr. Wittgenstein started to look irritated*
Heine: Excuse me . . .
Chrissy: Leo . . . Licht . . .
*He jumped out of Licht's grip*
Licht: Whoopsies! I didn't introduce myself, huh? I'm Licht von Granz - Ahhh, my full name's so looong. Licht is good enough! Just call me Lichie, kay?
Heine: Lichie . . . From Licht . . .?
*He stared at Licht with interest until he did an inappropriate pose*
Licht: Teach, have my good looks hypnotized you? Go ahead. Have a long look. Take it all in. Heh . . . I'm so sexy, it's sinful.
Chrissy:*in her mind* It's amazing no girl has slapped him yet.
*Suddenly, Bruno came up behind him & hit him in the back of the head with a book*
Bruno: Sinfully shameless is what you are! And didn't I tell you not to do that in front of Chrissy!
Licht: Wh - What's your problem, Brunie!
*Bruno ignored him & bowed to Mr. Wittgenstein*
Bruno: The ruckus my younger brothers are making is truly appalling.
Heine:*bowing* Oh, not at all.
Bruno: As the third-eldest brother, Bruno, I sincerely apologize for their behavior. By the way, I took the liberty of perusing what materials I could gather regarding your background, but nothing whatsoever was written concerning your academic record.
*Mr. Wittgenstein shook his head*
Heine: Nowhere.
Bruno: Pardon me?
Heine: I have not gone to university.
*I was surprised to hear that*
Chrissy:*in her mind* He didn't attend university? Then how did he become a teacher?
*Bruno just gave him a cold look*
Bruno: . . . Is that so. *he motioned to Kai* Allow me to introduce Kai. The second eldest Prince. Brother, you should at least greet the new tutor.
*Kai turned to Mr. Wittgenstein with his usual glare*
Kai: Tea . . . Eet y . . .
*I sighed. Kai was being shy again. I stepped up to Mr. Wittgenstein*
Chrissy: Please allow me to apologize for my brother's rude behavior. Especially Leo's.
Leo: Chrissy!
*I ignored him. I then smiled & curtsied to Mr. Wittgenstein*
Chrissy: Please let me be the first to welcome you to Granzreich Castle, Mr. Wittgenstein. My name is Christine von Granzreich, first Princess of the Kingdom of Granzreich Royal Family.
(Third-Person POV)
Heine:*in his mind* What a polite young lady. Could this girl actually be . . .
(Chrissy's POV)
*Licht then squeezed me*
Licht: Oh, Chrissy, that was perfect!
Bruno: I see your lessons with Ms. Richter have paid off.
Leo: Not bad.
*Kai just patted my head*
Heine: Now then, I'll get straight to the matter at hand. So that I may determine the direction your individual lessons shall take, I should like to interview each of you privately.
Leo: That won't be necessary. None of us wants a tutor! I detest teachers more than anything else in the world! I'll never acknowledge you as our tutor!
Chrissy: Leo!
Bruno: I'm afraid I must agree. In my school, I am always the top student. I do require a so-called tutor who has never even studied at university.
Chrissy: Bruno!
Licht: You guys think so? Well. If my big brothers are against it, then I am tooooo. Not that it makes a difference to me either way!
Chrissy: Licht!
*Kai didn't say anything. Mr. Wittgenstein was just as quiet for a minute. I was getting worried that Mr. Wittgenstein was going to leave*
Heine: Kh . . . Your Highnesses have made your feelings most clear . . . Now then. Whom shall I interviewe first?
*All of us looked shocked at what he had just said*
Leo: . . . Huh? Wha . . .? W - Were you even listening?
Heine: Of course I was. It was something to the tune of, "You're not going to be our tutor! An insect like you can eat shite and die!" Yes?
Leo: We didn't take it that far . . .
*Just then, Mr. Wittgenstein pulled out a riding crop*
Heine: I am here to only fulfill my role as Royal Tutor. Your Highness' moods have no bearing on this. *he snapped it at us, making me & Leo flinch a little* The task of a teacher is to educate his students. Not to curry their favor.
*Leo looked furious at Mr. Wittgenstein answer. I, on the other hand, was in awe of how he stood his ground*
Chrissy:*in her mind* Wow . . . He's amazing . . .
Leo: . . . Insolent cure. You refuse to leave our palace, do you? *Mr. Wittgenstein didn't answer* Too bad. If the five of us go on strike, Father will have to reconsider . . . We siblings will band together to see you outsed from the post of Royal Tutor!
*Having had enough of this nonsense, I raised me hand*
Chrissy: I'll go first, Mr. Wittgenstein. We can have the interview in my room.
*Leo looked at me with shock & betrayal*
Leo: Chrissy! You're betraying us! How could you!
Chrissy: I'm not betraying anyone, Leo. I may not be a candidate for the throne, but I actually want to receive an education. But in order to do that, I need a teacher and I don't care if he didn't attend university or not!
*Just then, Licht looked at the clock*
Licht: Oh drat! It's already this late! *he ran towards the door* Sorry, Leonie! I have guests waiting in my room! You can take care of this!
*He left the room*
Leo: Licht . . . That stupid little . . .
Bruno: More women I'm sure. How unseemly for a Royal . . .
Leo: I - It's no matter. I wasn't expecting anything from him in the first place . . . Dearest brother Bruno! You and I will chase away this impudent teacher together -
Bruno: . . . I am intrigued. You're the first teacher to challenge us head-on. I'll consent to this interview of yours. However I am penning a paper that requires my immediate attention. Come to my quarters after you've interviewed Leonhard.
Leo: Wh - Why . . .? Dearest brother Bruno . . .
Heine:*bowing* As you wish, Your Highness.
*Bruno left the room. Leo turned to Kai*
Leo: . . . U - Um . . . Elder brother . . .? *Kai just left the room* Too fast!
Heine: Abandoned by all of your brothers . . . What a pity, Prince Leonard.
Leo: Sh - Shut up . . . Don't pity me . . .
*He turned to me with puppy dog eyes*
Chrissy: Don't even bother trying to change my mind, Leo. It's already made up. *I turned to Mr. Wittgenstein with a smile* Shall we go to my room, Mr. Wittgenstein.
Heine: Yes, Princess. Please lead the way.
*I led the Professor out of the room & down the hall towards my room. Behind me, I could hear Leo throwing a temper tantrum.
Leo:*off-screen* Fine! Do whatever you want! I don't care anymore!
*I ignored him. I knew he didn't actually mean it. I snuck a glance at Mr. Wittgenstein*
Chrissy:*in her mind* Alright. Time to make a good impression.
