A/N: Thanks for your time, don't expect much this is mostly for stress relief

Suspended in the air of the dark man-built cave Mabel clung to the metal stand below her, a hand hovering over the button at the top seemingly frozen in time

"Go! Mabel, press the red button! Shut it down!" Looking up she saw Dipper try fighting Stan to no avail just getting pushed away in the process

"No, you can't, You gotta trust me!!" Stan pleaded her hand neither moving closer or away from the big red button, instead her vision began to blur droplets of water floating upwards

"Grunkle Stan, I don't even know, if you're my grunkle! I wanna believe you, but–" She tried her throat so strained the words barely leaving her mouth, not going unnoticed by the others

"Then listen to me. Remember this morning when I said I wanted to tell you guys something?" He tried but the machine Dipper described as a superweapon somehow grew brighter the force almost making her lose her grip but sent Dipper, Stan, and Soos to the caves wall, seeing them get winded by the portal she almost smacked her hand against its shut off button immediately

"I wanted to say that you're gonna hear some bad things about me…" she stopped looking to her Grunkle

"..and some of them are true, but trust me. Everything I've worked for, everything I care about, it's all for this family" She saw the panic, the fear in his eyes about what he's niece was about to do…about what she was about to do

"Mabel, what if he's lying, This thing could destroy the universe, Listen to your head!" Dipper said her eyes turning to him

"Look into my eyes, Mabel! You really think I'm a bad guy?" She Spun back to stan

"He's lying, Shut it down NOW!" Dipper yelled

"Mabel, please!"

Forcing her eyes downward she took a shaky breath

"Grunkle Stan…" They all looked to her, their collective hearts almost jumping out of their chests

"...I trust you" She finished releasing her hold on the stand

"MABEL, ARE YOU CRAZY?! WE'RE ALL GONNA-" Dipper tried but a voice Mabel hadn't realized was talking this entire time cut him off

"One" The female voice over the speakers said, immediately the group felt every fiber of they're seemingly burning hot and cold at the same time, expanding and construct, what felt like the Gray between life and death, but each of their screams still rang within the other's ears

An eternity lived within the few seconds that past, a cough, a groan, and a moan of confusion filled the void, wearily standing up the four of them squinted at the blue portal; they're eyes still adjusting from all the sensory overload, but there definitely is the shadow of a figure inside it

their chests tightened in a mixture of emotions depending on the person. Fear, Guilt, Hope, and much more

"Who is that?" Dipper asked the conflict less than a minute ago already fading in his mind for now

"The Author of the journals…" Stan began

The figure ripped away his hood and goggles, his face an almost carbon copy of Stan's yet his was imitating stone

"...My brother"

"Yang…" Ruby's voice quivered, her throat drying up like an empty well staring at her big sisters' still form unconsciously wheezing for air

"Hey, She's gonna be okay. The soldiers have a ship ready to take you guys to Vale" The money faunas spoke up placing a hand on the young roses' shoulder barely breaking her trance

"But Jaune and Pyrrha are still missing" Nora said with a gasp of pain, regretting the slight movement she took and yet tried again anyway

"What!?"

"Look, guys, that giant Grimm is circling the school! Even the White Fang are pulling out! We all have to go, now!" He pleaded taking a step toward the injured ignoring the uncharatisic glare from the green-clad man

"We're not... leaving!" Ren groaned like he's childhood friend, thinking another breath will give him the strength to push on

"I'll find them... I'll find them, and I'll bring them back" Ruby promised another hand grasping her shoulder

"No! We will find them, Watch after Blake and Yang We'll be back" Weiss said feigning a smile to the younger girl, receiving none in return, not letting it stop her Weiss pulled Ruby slightly, understanding the signal they bolted hearing the blonde faunas' echo

"You better be! Idiots!"

Searching inside the halls, outside the gardens, then towards the dorms holing to holed up inside they're bedroom stopping the second they heard a buzz from Weiss' skirt pocket

"It's Jaune, Where are you?!" She said answering

"Weiss, Please you have to stop her!" Jaune yelled almost making her almost drop the scroll

"What!?"

"Pyrrha, She's going after that woman at the top of the tower She doesn't stand a chance!" He explained an explosion cracking through Weiss' phone like static

"Jaune, what are you talking about!? Where are you?!"

"Don't worry about me!..." He shouted the sound of crashing echoing followed by more static

"Please, you have to save Pyrrha...Please" His voice barely filtered until the scroll went completely silent

"Jaune? Jaune!" Weiss yelled seeing her scroll back on the homepage

Feeling a rumble beneath them, they look around the trees towards the top of the tower, resembling a Grimm's nest with Nevermore's screeching, black tar sliding down the walls, but a faint light glowed within making Ruby's eyes narrow

"I have a plan" She said equipping Crescent Rose to her hands pushing forwards

"You always do" Weiss said to herself drawing Myrtenaster refusing to let Ruby's speed let her go alone

Slicing through the beowolves preferring to stick to the tower rather than hunt didn't take long but with a limited amount of ammunition they had no choice, Suddenly the enormous dragon Grimm smacked through the top of the tower the debris above almost crushing them

"Watch out!" Weiss shouted leaping above the distracted Ruby piercing through what used to be a stone wall and splintering it into pieces

"Are you okay!" Ruby rushed to her partner's side who merely waved her off panting

"It's okay, it's okay, Just what's the plan?" Weiss asked leaning on the hilt of her rapier

"Remember that time at initiation when I cut the nevermores head off by-"

"Oh no!" Weiss cut her off when Ruby's finger landed on the vertical surface

"But Weiss!"

"But nothing, I can't follow you up there!" Weiss said when Ruby grabbed her shoulders

"I'll be fine, Please….For Pyrrha" Trying to find an ounce of hesitation in the younger girl's eyes she found none, placing her hands on Ruby's she sighed

"Fine, For Pyrrha" Standing back she gathered up what little strength remained within her aura straining itself to place the glyphs on the tower's side whilst Ruby took a runners starting position with a thumbs up

"Go to the evac and leave while you can, we'll meet you wherever the ships lead" Ruby said

"I will meet you both at the Evac zone I'm not leaving, not yet"

"Weiss-"

"Go!" Without missing a beat Ruby flew off the ground digging her heels into the glyphs that pushed her further up like a trampoline trying to outpace the glyphs disappearing behind her, knowing her partner wouldn't be able to do this again especially since the very last glyphs already vanished, she pushed for one last jump sending her over the edge her already dirtied clothes gaining a new roll of fresh dirt, Scrambling to her feet; her eyes caught the only other people amidst the rubble

The redheaded Spartan kneeling before Cinder aiming an arrow to her chest, Ruby felt her lungs seize up struggling to breathe, one beat then two then the arrow flew into Pyrrha's chest a small trickle of blood growing bigger, her dying friend locked eyes with her a mixture of fear and worry still etched into her eyes even as she felt her life drain away followed by a choked squeak when the arrow inside her burned red hot turning her very flesh and blood into ash the nicknamed invincible girl flowing into the wind her tiara flicked off by her killer

Unable to think, speak, or move Ruby felt her instinctively take a cold deep breath unable to cool the burning hatred tightening her chest at the monster before her

"Well hello there" It greeted her voice dripping with rotten honey, seeing the internal conflict in Ruby's eyes she watched the small reaper take another shaky breath her silver eyes refusing to leave hers for a minute

"Long time no see, I guess it's not your lucky day huh?" Cinder slowly walked to Ruby with a hand on her chin smirking

"W-why?" Ruby croaked her mind screaming to attack, to run, to wake up from this nightmare, to-

"Oh that doesn't matter, just ensuring everything goes to plan"

"b-bu-b-"

"But why did I kill her?..." Cinder leaned down to Ruby roughly taking her chin in one hand, Ruby's eyes growing wide

"...Sorry well not really, but I had to she tried taking my power away from me, My destiny" She explained her eyes burning with fire along with her other hand inching it towards the girl

"But don't worry…" She laughed her hand colder then the fire within Ruby's heart

"...You'll join her so-" In one blink Ruby felt her eyes burn got as lava a feeling of strength washing over her, she couldn't see Cinder or anything but blank white, she did hear cinder though the woman screamed and dragon screech then the feeling of wind rushing from below her

Her head feeling like it'd just been burned by the sun itself

A void of smoke, darkness, and a faint light that was somehow always out of sight surrounded two men standing opposite to each other, atop a bridge made from nothing but air itself

"Six what is this, where are we?!" The slightly taller dark-skinned man yelled, he wore a white cloak over he's pitch-black clothing consisting of long pants and a jacket, the only color difference being his white button-up shirt

"Fletcher…I'm sorry" The other man dashed in the blink of an eye, drawing his blood-red katana from its sheath and slashing diagonally upwards, which the other man barely dodged time

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Fletcher said about to reach into his jacket but stopped himself when Six froze, allowing him to observe his would-be murderer

Six wore something entirely different than he had earlier, instead of that baggy gray hoodie and long khaki pants, he wore blue jeans wrapped in a brown belt; the blades sheath and multiple pouches lining across them, and a black shirt underneath a matching coat that seemed a few sizes too big for him, a patchwork of golden symbols lining he's back and forearms, somehow Fletcher couldn't put his finger on it but Six looked bulkier, leaner maybe not just he's old friend being yelled at by the sword instructor for trying to look cool

"Six we can talk about this!"

"No, no we can't" Six's brown eyes grew bright orange matching fire which astonishingly also happened to the symbols, no longer content with just sitting on the jacket they lit up animatedly as if they were a video playing on repeat

Six swung and slashed at the air towards Fletcher the katana sent out waves of fire that thankfully moved slower than Six's first strike but only by a margin, dodging and weaving as best he could, Fletcher kept on pulling back his eyes never leaving he so called Friend, who in turn gained more ground

Suddenly a drop to the floor meant to dodge a horizontal slash caused one of his legs to dangle off the bridge into the abyss, quickly regaining he's bearings he turned around and he's heart dropped,

'The end of the line' he thought looking up slightly he's eyes widened a square made of what looked like glass stared back at him, inside of it is also him staring back but this Fletcher looked younger, still in high school combing he's jet black hair as if he were looking in a mirror

He's instincts screaming at him the real Fletcher turned around whilst ducking unsure what kind of attack Six would unleash, by pure luck Six missed he's thrust by an inch; the blade just above his targets hair

But the sword tip disappeared into the glass causing a small spider web to form, causing the doppleganger to jump back in fear

"Oh shit" Six's voice went silent instead the cracks of the spider web grew larger and larger than stopped afraid of moving an inch

They held their breath for what felt like several lifetimes the cracks not growing and silence once again filling the void, than both men looked into the mirror instead of at it, on the other side the doppelganger now much, much closer than where he was previously tapped the glass causing it to shatter like grains of sand the bridge beneath them following suit

The men would never admit it but they screamed as loud as they could, unaware they were accompanied by another

Back upstairs if the mystery shack the group had taken a breather, the agents gone, the truths uncovered, and bruises gained, Mabel had taken to damage control still worried about Soos hitting his head twice in less than three minutes and passing out after it, Dipper cleaned the floor of glass as slowly as he could he's mind still reeling from everything whilst simultaneously trying to think of every possible question from most to least important he could ask, whilst the other two…

"Do you realize what you've done, the lives you've endangered, the sacrifices I've made gone to waste!" The original Stanford shouted readjusting his glasses every few seconds from how much he was shaking in rage

"The sacrifices you've made, Oh I'm sorry I spent the last thirty goshdarn years trying to bring you back to reality, I should've realized you would've liked staying at nerd camp!" Stanley shouted back trying to keep he's insults as kid friendly as he could despite the searing anger in his heart

"Oh the last thirty years you spent at My house, using My name, all so you could build this freakshow!" Ford emphasized pointing at a beaver with squid tentacles for a tail

"Hey that's a squeaver, and it's part of the only reason this place is still standing!" Stanley felt it coming, the barrage of curse words that the kids would have to wash they ears out with soap, but before he could teach the genius a couple of things, Fords watch began to beep followed by familiar blue glow beneath the floorboards coming and going in a split second

Both of them refused to move instead letting silence engulf the air, A few moments later and Stanley looked up, Ford's eyes both blank and running a thousand thoughts per second, going to say something instead they heard

"GRUNKLE STAN!!" Mabel shrieked Bolting to the gift shop as fast he could he almost smacked the small doors off they're hinges

"What what, what's wrong?!" Stan yelled reaching for the gold knuckle dusters in he's jacket as Ford who trailed behind him pulled out what looked like an alien space pistol

Soos stood behind the counter shielding Mabel away from the dark skinned stranger scrambling in the floor

"Woah woah, what the fuck nononono!" The stranger crawled away further reaching for anything around him

"Who the hell are you, Get out of my house!" Stan roared sending the Stranger into a panic, Ford cocked the raygun aiming it at the intruder who in those few moments grabbed what felt like a gun off a shelf immediately he pointed it back at them

"Yeah, yeah what about that huh, that's what I thought!" The twin men shared a glance of confusion as the man stumbled to his feet

"That's right, yeah we're just gonna all just gonna calm down…"

"That's a glue gun dawg" Soos interjected even though he still raised his arms in surrender when the intruder pointed it at him, Stan rolled his eyes as Ford took a step forward

"Drop the glue gun Boy, before I make any hasty decisions" Ford warned moving he's aim from the intruder's chest to his head

"Fuuuck" He drawled raising his hands as the 'gun' hit the ground

A few minutes later they had successfully tied him up in Yarn of all things, Mabel tried finding the rope but decided it needed a little more pizazz and with none of the adults wanting to leave in case he tried running for it they reluctantly agreed

"Hold still" Ford ordered shining a flashlight in the man's unwilling eyeballs who snapped his jaw at him once he finished

"Now who are you and what are you doing here, try and lie to me and you'll find out why I'm the good cop" Ford continued pointing at Stanley who merely cracked his knuckles menacingly, Soos and Mabel merely sat on the counter acting as if it were any other day at the shack

"I'm Fletcher Rowans, I was somehow sucked through a mirror that ended up in what looks like your crack pipe of a basement" Ford took note of 'Fletchers' attire blue jumper with no undershirt, black sweatpants and barefoot, common sleep attire

"You expect us to believe the completely destroyed portal downstairs led to what, your little make-up room?" Stan said digging his finger in the bound man's chest

"Fuck off old man, for all I know you played Catholic prie-" Stan and Ford both doubled a hand over Fletcher's mouth looking at Mabel who tilted her head slightly, followed by Soos

"Listen here bub, if I hear anything and I mean anything that wouldn't be caught dead in a Disney movie I will send you far lower than where that basement is sitting you get me?" Raising his metal clad fist for emphasis Fletcher nodded

"Good, now we're going to take this downstairs, understand?" Ford added they're hands still over his mouth forcing Fletcher to shake his head

"Why not?" A moment of silence and an unimpressed brow raise helped them remember why he wasn't answering

"Finally damn, I'm gonna smell oil and old man sweat for weeks now"

"Just answer the question" Remembering what they said Fletcher looked up

"I am not going back down there, I woke up to a guy holding a sword at my neck, and next thing I know the sound of metal screeching distracted him, then he vanished in a pile of Rose petals"

"Where did he go, who else was there?" Ford asked the thought of more multiverse travellers more than likely possessing powerful weaponry that defied all logic rung alarm bells in his head

"The hell if know I ran to that little office as the light show began, I thought I heard a giant frog or something so I ran even further" He finished piquing the girls' interest

"Wait giant frog, Did it sound like this?" Mabel started sporadically croaking and choking deep and short breaths all at once

"Yeah, just a little more…I don't know, feminine?"

"That's Dipper's croak!" She gasped, and the Grunkle's eyes widened

"Dipper!" Stan called to the wind

"Dipper!" Soos, Ford and Mabel called as well

'Is it like their pet frog or something?' Fletcher thought to himself, suddenly Stan and Ford invaded his personal space

"You stay right there!" They both said, opening the hidden entrance behind the vending machine Ford stood at the stairs as Stan went on

"Mabel, Employee, watch our guest" and with that the vending machine closed, Waiting a minute Mabel jumped off the counter and ran up to the machine

"What're you doing dude?" Soos asked his voice falling short but when her eyes met his, something was wrong whoever stared back at him wasn't the Mabel he knew probably because of fear or exhaustion, or a mixture of that and everything else

"Stay with him Soos, I need to find Dipper" Mabel ordered, harshly pressing the secret code the entrance sliding open

"But they want us to stay here" Soos knew he wasn't going to stop her and so did she

If one thing the hosta-guest got correctly it was the light show what he neglected to mention was four people all engaged in feats of violence that seemed impossible even for more Gravity Falls weirdness, two men locked in battle one wearing some glowing fiery jacket filled with symbols even Ford didn't recognise, holding a blood red sword that spewed fire with every slash, and the other wore a white cloak with what looked like two sticks with curved blades, chains connected to the ends disappearing into the cloak

He wasn't alone in wearing a cloak or a white one, two small figures both females wearing a red and white cloak each seemed to be in some sort of accord instead of fighting each other they blocked, parried, and forced the two men apart; the one in red wore a blouse, puffy skirt, leggings and boots, a bandolier of comically large ammunition at her waist all matching her color scheme of black and red lining she seemed to look no older than a middle schooler just much shorter but also contained the strength to hold a scythe easily a foot taller than the elder Pine twins its parts shifting to expand and contract to help with swinging and blocking

The woman in white wore a similar outfit, a black dress but her skirt didn't seem as 'poofy' as the other's woman's just one long black dress reaching down to her ankles, in her hands were two handles in reverse grips that held long single-edged blades running far longer than just her forearms

"Stop this!" The one in red shouted shifting the gigantic scythe into an equally as massive gun and shooting the minute scythes that the man in white threw towards the other man

"Stay out of my way!" The glowing man shouted, sending a massive wall of fire towards the girl who disappeared in a flurry of Rose petals, which the woman in white took as an opportunity to attack aiming for the hilt to disarm him

"Try. using. your. words!" The woman yelled slashing with each word which he promptly parried sending another wall of fire forcing her to backpedal until a heavy boot on her shoulder sent her sprawling backwards

"Thanks for the lift!" The man in white called having used her as a footstool to clear over the firewall; sending both scythes into the ground behind the on-guard swordsman, the man in white pulled, sending him like a bullet shoulder barging into the swordsman both of them crashing into the floor

Jumping to their feet, a hurricane of Rose petals blinded them from their next attack, a foot away from the man in white stood the girl in red aiming that overly complicated rifle at him

"Don't move" She warned he retracted the scythes back to his hands via the chains a stinging in right shoulder he glanced at the patch of red slowly growing; realizing shoulder barging a blocking swordsman was just a bad idea he sighed, instead opting to take a seat on the floor lazily gesturing he's surrender

On the other end, the glowing man thought to make his move the same as his opponent but two simultaneous knocks to the back of his skull via the woman in white's hilt of her blades sent him to the floor immediately; she kicked the sword away from him pointing a blade at his throat the second he turned around regaining his bearings

"You either" She commanded

Sighing the swordsman's glowing eyes and jacket faded into their respective brown and gold, sweeping a hand through his chocolate-coloured hair

"Alright, do as you will" He said both women keeping their weapons ready

"We've got a few questions for you two" The one in white said

"I think that's supposed to be my line" Ford said keeping his gun primed at them, whilst Stanley cracked his knuckles menacingly for the thousandth time that day knowing full well these weren't regular 'people'

"Oh I've got one, how about what the fuck Sixer?!" The man in white yelled

"Sixer?" Stan and Ford wondered aloud, the latter noticing he wasn't looking at him

"I can't explain it, you just have to trust me!" The swordsman yelled back turning around to sit up properly

"The fuck do you mean trust you, do I look like I'm in the mood for team bonding exercises?!" The girl in red seemed to flinch at the man in white swearing but remained steady

"Are you both friends?" The woman in white asked glancing between them

"I don't know, do your friends cook you like a kebab!" The man in white continued

"There are forces at play beyond our understanding. I don't have any other choice!"

"Oh fuck off!" The two men bickered back and forth, their words tiring them faster than the life-or-death situation ever could

"Okay okay, if we let you go will you both remain calm" the one in red asked neither responded but they didn't say No, so reluctantly she sighed and nodded to the woman in white both of them letting them go, lowering her hood revealed as Ford thought a young girl, much younger than someone who should be handling that kind of weaponry

"How about we introduce ourselves, I'm Ruby Rose" She said

"Ruby?" A confused voice called out, turning around the girl saw the woman in white lower her own hood revealing an almost carbon copy of herself just slightly longer bangs and an inch taller

"Mom?" Ruby asked her heart-wrenching in her chest at the stranger in front of her, who hadn't aged a day since the day she lost her, The woman in white stood as still as stone as Ruby slowly approached the ghost

finally within arm's length; the woman in white raised her hands to the girls' cheeks tenderly caressing them, dipping a few fingers into the girls' locks of hair fussing over the tiny bits of dust and debris in there, turning her head left to right she used her thumbs to wipe away the small number of tears that began to leak, every fiber of her being knowing this teenager, a far cry from the toddler she left at home is still her child

Ruby buried her head into the other woman's chest not a sob or cry escaping her just pure silence and shocked still eyes, wetting her mother's blouse; who didn't mind at all instead wrapping her arms around the girl the time for answers can come later

The men in the room tried not to stare at this 'somewhat' heartwarming moment not that any of them would admit it, with a cough Stanley began first

"Uh ladies if you'd like the elevator there can take you upstairs to the house for some privacy" Ford nudged him in the ribs

"What're you doing?" He whispered

"What?"

"They're from another dimension with weaponry I've never seen before and that's saying something!"

"They're the reason this room isn't full of blood or worse the fight reaching upstairs, What?!"

"They're also the only reason this room still isn't covered in blood, namely ours!" Stan was about to retort but some scrap metal began to shift followed by a cough, out from the wreckage came Dipper coughing into his fist whilst trying to readjust his hat

"Dipper?!"

"Kid!?" The Elder Pines' said together drawing his attention to not only his Grunkle's but the four strangers around him

"Uh h-hi" he said waving slightly coughing out he's voice crack the second he saw the weaponry in their hands, followed by the ding of the elevator

"Grunkle Stan, Great Uncle Ford!" Mabel called running up to the men who stood at the entrance

"Mabel, you're supposed to stay upstairs!" Stan said aloud Ford and him blocking her from entering the portal room but she still looked through their legs scanning until finally seeing her target

"Dipper!" She yelled trying to squeeze through but the men held her back

"No, you're staying right there Missy!" Ford added an arm each on her shoulders keeping her back as Dipper looked at the strangers still too afraid to move

"Stop-Dipper- let me go-MASON!" She screeched catching his attention her struggling to see him only proved he heard her right, she said his name, his real name something she never did which meant something was very, very wrong

"Mabel!" He called back forcing his legs to sprint one step, then the next, then the next faster and faster until he almost barreled into her arms, the girl shook and sobbed in his hold squeezing him for all he was worth, burying herself into his neck he squeezed her as well trying to stop the shaking as best he could-until she ripped away by a bit for some reason whispering something

"Mabel, what's wrong?" She didn't say anything just standing there refusing to meet his eyes, knowing a twin trip to sweater town was in order Dipper looked into his Grunkle's eyes who merely nodded understanding immediately, taking her hand he led her to the elevator, punched in the code and watched the doors close, he's Grunkle's and the stranger's eyes disappearing behind the three inches of solid steel

"Wh-yo-in-ere" Mabel whispered again still refusing to meet his eyes

"Mabel I still can't hear yo-" Dipper got cut off short when she shoved him into the metal wall, he caught himself realizing that was the least of his worries when her eyes met his, the big fat tears still rolled down her cheeks in waves but instead of blinking them away her eyes burnt holes into his, red veins popping inside them as if she'd been staring into the sun

"What were you doing down there!?" She screamed her voice definitely going to give in by tomorrow from her screech earlier, punching the emergency stop, the button being so old it broke into pieces; if she felt any pain she ignored it

"Mabel I-" She cut him off again by grabbing a fist full of his shirt and pinning him to the wall

"Don't you Mabel me, did you not see the explosion, the metal lying around, what if we all started floating again and you fell on the sharp edges, we didn't even know you were down there Mason!" She raised her fist in warning but it didn't matter, she could have hit him or called him anything under the sun, nothing will ever hurt more than seeing her choke out his own name

"Did you see those weirdos down there, what if they hurt you, if you died, It would've been my fault, I would've killed my only brother!" She started shaking again and he realized how sporadic her thought process seemed to take even her shaking, crying, and the fury in her eyes he wouldn't have guessed she was thinking of the worst scenarios

"We're always staying together, you hear me, the same adventures, the same college, the same house, even the same coffin!" Her breaths became ragged running shorter and shorter, yet she still kept trying to speak, Unsure if this was about the danger downstairs or the future or something else entirely he knew it would take long time her to try and explain it

Raising his right hand slowly, he wrapped it around the one clenching his shirt, inch by inch her grip began to loosen letting him slip a thumb in her palm squeezing it, reminding himself to stay gentle, bringing her fist up he noticed the skin slightly peeled off, bits of red leaking, slowly pushing it to rest on his shoulder; he slid his left arm underneath her raised one engulfing her in another tight hug, she stood frozen at first until she slowly snaked her arms around his neck closing her eyes exhaling softly

Little by little her breaths began to even, little by little the shaking began to subside little by little the dark tower of her emotions building up since this all started began to crumble, she still whispered so quietly he barely heard a word yet let her continue to ramble on about joint marriages, following him to every job he wants, joining he's school clubs

Dipper just used a free hand to groom her hair of little knots and tangles knowing words meant nothing right now, she didn't need apologies, promises of an uncertain future, or explanations of this and that, she just needed him right here and right now and nothing was going to stop him.

"Eye spy with my little eye, a huge prick" The white-cloaked man said lying face up pointing at the swordsman who rubbed a cloth over his katana sitting away from his earlier opponent

"Eye spy with my little eye, a dumb prick" He continued the other men ignoring him as he rambled on several other obscenities at him

"I don't remember, the last thing I can think of clearly it well I don't know" Ruby explained holding an ice pack to her skull sitting in the chair at the control booth, whilst Ford wrote down details into his Journal making an entire sub-section dedicated to the multiverse travelers

"I see, I'll have to give you a check-up if that fever doesn't come down" Seeing her nod Ford wrote down the chances of the portal causing this strange sickness

"What about you Mrs Rose, ah sorry Mrs Rose-Xiao-Long" Ford inquired receiving a wave

"It's quite alright Summer will do, I remember something similar, I was fighting hordes of the Grimm trying to protect a village, my comrades and the villagers were forced to sleep by some sort of spell that didn't influence me, they about to take they're first kill and then the same flash of white" Summer explained standing behind Ruby refusing to take her hand off the girls' shoulders, not that the girl would complain anyway

"And these Grimm they are beings of darkness, do they hide in shadows, do they only take form in the night?" Ford asked he's mind ticking like clock-work as Stan just crossed his arms leaning on a control box none of the buttons working anyway

"No one knows, when they die they fade away into black smoke, no DNA, no remains, liquids, anything" Summer said followed by a nod from Ruby

"Interesting very interesting" Ford said finishing his sketch of a generic black monster similar to how he would draw a shapeshifter, if the multiple variants were anything to go by it looked accurate enough

"All right now to take their accounts" Ford said gesturing towards the two men still engaged in a one-sided insult match

"Hold it right there poindexter, those two look like they're gonna go at it any second now, what makes you think they wanna talk?" Stan chimed in grabbing his brothers shoulder, who merely brushed it off writing down the two men's hostility first and foremost

"We can help, if they try anything we'll stop them" Ruby exclaimed looking at her mother whose lips became a thin line

"Sweetie I don't want you fighting right now"

"What?"

"Honey I'm proud you managed to hold yourself back there, but your headache, fever, have you even got your scroll?"

"Uh yeah"

"What's your aura reading say?" Ruby's cheeks grew hot realizing she should be checking it more often like Professor Goodwitch kept telling her

"It's in the red"

"See?"

"Sorry Mom"

"Don't be sorry sweetie, I'm just worried that with whatever happened before now, if you were trouble and Oum forbid if it also happened to your father or sister" Ruby felt a hand on her shoulder slowly tighten

"I'm okay Mom honest, and you know Dad and Yang their probably hunting down every trail they can find" Ruby turned to smile which was slowly returned by her mother

"It's good to see they haven't changed" Summer hugged Ruby once more then let go to unsheath the blades at her waist

"Well let's see what those two are up to"

"Sorry to interrupt your family reunion Mrs Ro-Summer" Ford apologized half leaning down not entirely sure if a bow is common in their culture

"It's alright, I'm sure we still have some time ahead of us to talk" Summer smiled followed by Ruby's grin

"Eye spy with my lit-" "Ahem" Interrupted from his rambling the white-cloaked man looked to the woman who stole his style and one of those two twins then again the two women looked like twins too now that he thought about it

"Sorry about interrupting your…serenade, but I'd like to ask some questions" Ford said as Summer just crossed her arms over her chest with a piercing gaze, Sighing the man returned to his previous position

"Shoot!" The other man didn't respond instead whispering a silent prayer he's sword sheathed in front of him

"Uh first, What's your name?"

"Fletcher Rowans" Not meaning much to Summer she still barely noticed Ford's quill halt immediately

"Pardon me?"

"Fletcher, Fletcher Rowans…that's my name…what?"

"Could you perhaps remove your hood, please?" Groaning Fletcher removed he's hood sporting a completely identical face to the man upstairs

"Hey I'm gonna head up-woah freaky y'know at this point we could charge people to meet this many pairs of twins at once" Stan said nudging his brother who kept trying to process everything, slowly but surely coming to a conclusion

"Yo you, your twin's tied up upstairs" Stan said pointing a thumb upwards, getting not only a reaction from Fletcher, but the swordsman Sixer they're pretty sure his name was, who also reacted slightly turning his head

"I don't have a twin"

"Sure you do, the other kid uhhhh Fletcher" Stan said snapping his fingers Summer looked at Ford finally piecing something together at least

"I'm Fletcher, and I don't have a brother" The now named Fletcher said sending Stan's brain into a twirl

"We have to go upstairs" Ford suddenly said looking at Stan and Summer

"We have to go now!"

The elevator took longer than usual to reach upstairs and the emergency button lay cracked in the ground but none of that mattered, they all stood in the confined space Ford not allowing anyone to remain in the basement and also needed backup from these seemingly superhuman warriors against whatever they left upstairs

The door opened with a ding the old men raced up the stairs the Rose's and Six close behind as Fletcher took his time seemingly arguing with something inside his cloak

"Kids, Soos!" Stan yelled he's eyes landing on the bundled heap of yarn on the floor

"Oh no, Kids Soos!" Stan called again Ford pushing forwards to inspect the yarn

"Wait Stanley, this was a clean cut"

"What does that have to do with anything?!" Stan replied walking to the living room searching

"That means he didn't escape on his own" Ford called out the second Stan heard the rattle of dinner plates, rushing into the kitchen he found the doppelganger playing connect four with Soos at the table. Mabel sat glumly next to the mystery shirt-wearing man drinking a juice box as Dipper stared at the microwave reheating leftovers

"You're joking" the stranger exclaimed having lost to what used to be the worst player in the house

"Haha this is awesome dude!" Soos said fist bumping the air

"Soos what is this?!" Stan yelled making everyone jump

"Hey Mr Pines!"

"Grunkle Stan, you scared me!"

"The hell's your problem?!" Stan advanced to the stranger roughly grabbing him by the collar

"Who are ya, no actually what are ya!?" Stan growled drawing some of the group to the kitchen all of them on guard

"Human Jesus, I told you my name already, what are you senile?!"

"You better come up with something boy, we already met the real you downstairs" Ford added aiming his gun at the struggling clone

"Woah Great Uncle Ford calm down!" Dipper yelled trying to place himself in his line of sight

"Grunkle Stan stop, we just found him hanging out with Soos, nothings wrong!" Mabel said grabbing his pant leg

"In my defense, everything she said is completely true!" The younger Fletcher said raising his hands in surrender for the second time that day

"Kids go upstairs, lock the door, and don't come out unti-" Stan began until the whole room rattled from a heavy bang behind on the doorframe behind them

"Can we go two minutes without the screaming, seriously I'm gonna need a full bottle of aspirin at this point" The older Fletcher said walking into the kitchen, the group parting sides allowing him to see...

"Holy shit" He whispered, Stan let go of his counterpart to let the Fletchers examine each other, first they started checking each other's palms, hairlines, teeth anything that could differentiate the other from themselves

"Who are you?" they said simultaneously waving a hand in front of the other like a mirror

"I'm Fletcher" they said again making the eyes of the other narrow

"No, you're- Stop copying me!" Taking a step back the older one swept a hand through his hair

"Damn this is freaky" the younger one said

"Damn right it is" the older one replied, still slowly scanning the other they both finally made eye contact a hint of fire in their eyes

"Kill it" they said looking at the group whilst pointing at the other

"Uh, what?" Ruby said still confused about how they looked like they were just meeting

"I'm clearly the original and this doppelganger is stealing my identity" The older one said getting a tsk-tsk sound from his junior

"No, No, No I'm the original, look at you wearing a cape what are you still playing superhero old timer?"

"Old timer, how old do you think I am?!"

"I don't know fort-"

"twenty-two, I'm twenty-two years old, how old are you?!" The pause didn't go unnoticed by everyone in the room if anything it was louder than his next whisper

"Sixteen"

"Sixteen? we look exactly the same"

"I don't know it's probably my last growth spurt"

"I don't remember being this tall at sixteen"

"I doubt you'd remember anything old man-!" The two started bickering, shoving the other which Ruby pushed the elder back and Soos pulled back his new friend

"So Sixer was it?" Summer began watching the two clones try and throw things at each other from across the room

"It's just Six" He replied pinching the bridge between his nose and internally cringing at the sight of having to deal with more of his former friends' shenanigans

"Uh Six, just which one is yours exactly?" He sighed turning around

"Neither of them, they're both idiots" he finished leaving the room, to investigate the portal

Dipper sat on the floor against the bed, trying to dim the light even further every moment Mabel seemed to twist and turn; with Journal Three in his grasp he began writing

Today has to have been the craziest day we've had this summer so far, interdimensional travelers, Grunkle Stanford is actually Grunkle Stanley with his twin and that the real Great Uncle Ford is the author of the gravity falls Journals!

Accidentally letting out a scream unfortunately just low pitched enough that dogs aren't the only ones who could hear it, he slapped a hand over his mouth

"Wha-what?" Mabel grumbled her eyes immediately closing, soft snoring already reaching his ears

"I swear to god, if you scream one more time I will find you!" One of the random guests said sick of the fact this wasn't the first time Dipper had screamed going over the day's events

"Sorry!" Dipper called back and after receiving no scalding response, the boy returned to his Journal

Ford wasn't alone in coming to our dimension, I saw five other people come through the portal thanks to Him but he seemed equally as disturbed himself something about a wrench in his plans, he couldn't stop whatever was going on and I refused to help shut it down, I'm starting to think these people scare him which would make sense three out of five of them scare me

We have Ruby and her Mom Summer, both something called Huntresses where they fight monsters in a world different from Earth so I guess that makes them aliens; sorta, they're the only ones I like really, so does Mabel immediately taking Ruby on a makeover, She seemed to like it

Then there are two Fletchers and Six the three of them don't get along, Six is sleeping in Great Uncle Ford's basement trying to find a way back home, he said he's some sort of genius where he's from which both Fletchers scoffed at.

As for Fletcher himself-Themselves they hated each other since they made eye contact Six mentioned to Ford he had quite an ego that couldn't allow another of them to be wandering around, but it's just been non-stop arguing I don't think Six told us the full truth, not like they would anyway, we've decided to call the older one Fletcher and the younger one Flores since it's close enough to his real name

Either way, until they can find a way home they're gonna be staying with us making this Summer a whole lot weirder.

Oh yeah did I mention they're all Superhuman?!
