Harry explodes the doors of Dumbledore's office, and floats in surrounded by a powerful aura. Energy crackles from his hands as he glares.

"That does it, Dumbledore! I've taken enough of your games and nonsense! I've unlocked my magical core and now become the strongest wizard alive! I'll defeat you, then Tom!"

Dumbledore gaped at this, weeped... And laughed happily.

"THIS IS WONDERFUL, HARRY!" Dumbledore cried.

Harry, now the mightiest sorcerer on the planet...Blinked in confusion.

"What?"

"My original plan was all I could come up with because there was no way I could get you to the level of power needed to fight Tom and win in time!" Dumbledore grinned, "but now, you have unlocked incredible potential within yourself!"

"That you obviously locked down out of fear of my potential!" Harry sneered. Dumbledore blinked.

"Wait, you mean you found some sort of... Barrier on your magic?"

"YES!"

"One that you believe stifled your growth?"

"YES!"

"That I put on you?"

"OF COURSE! WHO ELSE?!" Harry shouted. "For months, days after day, for a whole year, I exercised my magical limits, pushing harder and harder! I studied everything I could on increasing my power! I finally had a breakthrough, and unleashed the power you feared!"

Dumbledore clapped happily.

"Bravo Harry! Such incredible dedication and hard work! You truly earned your incredible strength!"

Harry again blinked.

"Wait what?"

"Well, what did you think would happen if you exercised and trained your magic every day for an entire year?" Dumbledore asked patiently.

"Wait, so you didn't put a block on my magic?" Harry asked.

"No. You were clearly pushing past your own limits! Well done, my boy, well done!" Dumbledore said happily.

"Well... I'm sure as hell not going back to the Dursleys ever again!"

"Of course not!" Dumbledore said with a nod, "I suspect you'd blast them to pieces with a thought. I shall also tell Severus to be very polite-It would not end well for him to antagonize you. Indeed, I can now teach you combat spells that would kill other wizards for even attempting to try them!"

"Er... This isn't going quite how I pictured it," Harry admitted.

"Harry, I admit I have made many, many, many mistakes," Dumbledore replied, "and your upbringing was one of them. My plans were desperate at best and could only work with sheer luck and divine providence. However, your incredible tenacity has ensured I don't need to use them! Huzzah!"

He grinned and winked.

"And afterwards, maybe we can both take vacations, eh?"

"Er... Yeah, that would be nice," Harry admitted. "I've always wanted to see France."

"France is lovely, especially the Southern part," Dumbledore agreed. "Now then! Shall we start with the Meteor spell? Or would you like to skip to Ultima?"

Bit short but fun.
