Naruto and Anko entered the house and immediately began packing whatever they could find, all the while little Mito lay in the crib that was bought for her.

After about 40 mins of non-stop packing Mito began crying. Naruto was by her side in an instant. Soothing her to the best of his abilities, but she wouldn't stop. Then it clicked in his head, she was hungry.

"Anko! Mito's hungry." He called out.

Anko jogged over to the kitchen and began frantically preparing a bottle for Mito. When her task was complete she rushed over and scooped Mito into her arms and began feeding her.

Naruto, after confirming that his sister was happy, returned to packing things. After putting a fed Mito to sleep Anko rejoined Naruto in their united quest to pack.

Once they had all they needed sealed into scrolls Naruto picked up the still-sleeping Mito and entered the basement followed by Anko who had a large scroll on her back, which contained everything.

"So, how are we escaping? The people here aren't going to let us leave willingly." Anko asked with a hint of anger in her tone.

"Yeah, especially with the 9-tails being inside Mito. But my Dad wasn't a fool, he showed me a secret passage a year ago." Naruto said with a grin.

"Secret passage? Does it lead to that training base you mentioned?" Anko asked, her voice tinged with realization.

"Yes, I've been there a few times with him when Mom couldn't watch me while he trained." Naruto responded with a slight pain in his voice.

Anko noticed the hurt in his voice and felt guilty for some reason. "Sorry…" she mumbled.

"Don't apologize Anko, there's no reason for you too." He said with a smile, happy she cared enough to apologize even when it wasn't necessary.

Anko nodded "...Okay." She said after a few moments.

"Okay, enough of this sadness I don't want it affecting Mito." He grinned.

Anko chuckled as well. "Yeah, I'm sure we both want her to be happy." She said while smiling down at Mito.

"Without a doubt, I'd do anything for her." Naruto said with absolute conviction.

Anko found her respect for Naruto growing further if that was even possible.

A calm silence fell over the trio, with the only sounds being their footsteps and the occasional noise from Mito.

"Hey Naruto, do you have a plan for raising Mito? Cause I know little about raising kids." Anko broke the silence with a question."

Naruto looked at the ceiling. "I honestly have no idea, we have the scrolls on it that my parents bought before I was born. So I guess we can start with those."

Anko nodded. "I guess you're right, it looks like you and I are parents." She said with a chuckle.

"Hmm, so we're like a couple then?" He mused.

Anko's cheeks flushed red but she didn't dare answer.

"Well, I guess that's something for the future." He continued.

If possible, Anko's cheeks grew even redder. 'He basically just said he might date me in the future.' she thought.

The silence returned with both of them enjoying it. After a while, Naruto broke it. "I hope there's a town nearby where we can buy supplies since I really don't want to have to sneak in and out of Konoha."

Anko nodded. "Yeah, that'd be a pain in the ass." She laughed.

Naruto smiled, finding that he enjoyed her laugh since he wasn't sure he could right now.

After walking for what felt like days but was only a few hours they reached the end of the passage. In front of them was a… dead end?

"Naruto, did we take the wrong passage?" Anko said slightly annoyed.

"No, here hold Mito for a sec." Naruto replied before handing the still-sleeping Mito to Anko and stepping towards the seemingly blank wall. "Now where is it?" He mused while running his palm over the wall.

After a moment Anko began to think that they really did go the wrong way.

"Ah! There it is!" Naruto said before putting chakra into the spot and an audible click was heard. The wall then opened to reveal a living room?

"What is this place?" Said a stunned Anko, handing Mito back to Naruto before walking around admiring the place.

"Our new home." He said with a smile.

A bit short, but for what I have planned next kinda necessary. You'll understand in the next chapter (I think). Well, thanks for reading you, beautiful bastards!
