Chapter 5: A Dreamlandian Interlude

THIS CHAPTER'S TITLE HAS BEEN CHANGED AS OF FEBRUARY 3RD, 2023!

A/N PLEASE READ ALL OF IT FOR CONTENT WARNINGS: Welcome to Chapter 5, folks! In this chapter, we will take a brief look back at Popstar and see what our crew in Dream Land is up to. Before we get started, though, I want to clarify something: my headcanon about Magolor's motive for stealing the Master Crown was inspired by subversiveasset's C-R-O-W-N-E-D cover on YouTube. Please go check it out when you're done reading this, or before, if you want; it's awesome. (You should really check out Juno Songs' lyrical cover of Under My Control/ C-R-O-W-N-E-D as well). On a completely unrelated note, I (or Kirby's internal monologue, rather) mentioned in an earlier chapter that Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach had watched Kirby's first fight with Dedede. Many of you may already know this, but those three characters (plus Birdo) can be seen in the audience during the Dedede fight in Spring Breeze (a retelling of the events of the original Kirby's Dream Land) in Kirby Super Star (and Ultra as well, I believe). I already stated in an earlier author's note that I don't consider Spring Breeze canon to Super Star's events, because it'd make no sense for Kirby's Dream Land's events to repeat in that game, so that's why Kirby's internal monologue claimed that it was his first fight with Dedede, since my headcanon means that the battle Mario and the gang watched would have been the final battle with Dedede at the end of Kirby's Dream Land. Also, I forgot to mention this, but Kirby never had the ability to make Helpers in this universe, because that's creepy.

Again, big profanity warning for this one, 'cus Kirby's friends are not having a good time in his absence. That warning will hold true for the rest of this fic, just so you know. This will be your final profanity warning. Warning number 2: There is lots of self-loathing in this chapter; self-loathing and dangerous, implied suicidal thoughts. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

With all of that out of the way, though, welcome to Chapter 5: A Dreamlandian Interlude!

It was another beautiful morning in Dream Land. The sun was shining. Twizzies sang and chirped and the sun shone down on the paradisiacal landscape, brilliantly illuminating the rings encircling Planet Popstar. Pop Flowers were in full bloom and every tree and grassland was green and lush.

However, all was not well.

King Dedede looked down on his kingdom from the balcony of his castle, high atop Mt. Dedede. He sighed. It had been a few days since Magolor's defeat. He, Bandee, and Meta had managed to, eventually, defeat him; the final blow, which had been dealt by Dedede, cracking the jewel in the top of the Master Crown. Magolor had exploded, but whatever dark force had been powering the crown had been released when the crown's jewel was cracked, allowing it to pull Mags' body back together in a new form that it, according to Mags himself (with Dedede being inclined to believe him) had complete control over.

In other words, Magolor became what Kirby would probably call a "Soul Boss"; a near-mindless, undead being powered by nothing but its own hatred and a powerful, preferably-dark energy-based catalyst. Dedede had his own theories about what was behind that crown, though. Midway through the fight with Magolor's "Soul" (if that's what they were gonna call it) form, a red eyeball appeared in its smiling mouth.

That sounded eerily similar to how Kirby had described Zero Two. Dedede had sent Kirby and Ribbon to the skies of Dark Star for that fight, so he hadn't been able to witness the monstrosity himself, only catching a brief glimpse and knowing that was the thing the two lovebirds were supposed to destroy; leading to him propelling them up to it.

All Dedede knew was what Kirby told him. And what Kirby told him was unsettlingly similar to what had happened to Magolor.

Either way, Another Dimension, at least the inter-dimensional tunnel that the fight with Magolor had taken place within, had begun to crumble after that; just like whenever Dedede and the others were on their way to a Sphere Doomer and the immediate area started collapsing, forcing Dedede and his friends to make a mad-dash to the Doomer before the looming darkness crushed them.

However, the Landias and the Lor Starcutter, the latter of which, true to Magolor's suspicions, indeed had a mind of its own, had come through in the end and carried them all back to Popstar, before heading back to Halacandra. Only one thing was missing: Kirby.

The next day, Magolor had popped up like a damn Pop Flower in spring, outside Castle Dedede, back in his normal form, without a fucking scratch. And with an outfit change, to boot! Gone was the blue and white color scheme; now it was green and white. Now, Dedede had seen some weird shit. Ever since that Nightmare thing showed up and tried to mess with the Fountain of Dreams, his life had spiraled further and further into some weird fantasy novel series with each adventure being weirder than the last.

And things had, indeed, only gotten weirder since that day; especially after the first (and certainly not the last) time he was possessed by Dark Matter.

However.

People coming back to life? Without some kind of super-powerful artifact or something causing it, and without any physical changes? That was some weird shit. Some suspicious shit. And of course, it had to be Magolor, of all people. Dedede'd had Magolor surrounded by Spear Waddle Dees in an instant. The motherfucker hadn't stood a chance.

The Waddles, per Dedede's orders, had thrown Magolor in the dungeons, and Dedede had confiscated some shiny, crystalline, apple-looking thingy that Magolor begged him to keep safe, much to Dedede's suspicion. Since Dream Land was so peaceful, and any threats that popped up were either too big to be contained by a mere prison cell or were annihilated by Kirby, the dungeons were rarely used. Magolor was likely even their first occupant since whatever rightfully-angry citizens had tried and failed to storm the castle when Dedede had made the biggest mistake of his life, stealing all of Dream Land's food, eleven years ago.

Dedede was actually still impressed that Kirby had managed to stop him, and only a few days after the theft, at that. Even with how close they were, Dedede still didn't really know much about Kirby. So, he didn't know how Kirby, who was supposedly only a year old at the time, had been able to stop him. Meta, who was the same species as Kirby, had told Dedede that their species apparently had the intelligence of pre-teen kids from birth.

That was all Meta had ever been willing to tell Dedede about his and Kirby's species. Whenever Dedede brought it up with Kirby, the lil' guy just went quiet. Same with Meta, though Meta did it in a mysterious way, because of course he did. According to eyewitnesses, Kirby had just blown into Green Greens one day on a spring breeze, and had lived on Dream Land's mainland ever since.

Dedede specified that it was the mainland because Kirby claimed to have come from the small settlement known as Cappy Town, located on a small island off the coast of Dream Land, technically part of it, called Cappy Island. It was out there in Onion Ocean. Kirby took a trip there for a week every year to visit the family that had taken him in.

Which implied that Kirby (somehow) didn't have any biological relatives that he knew of. Whatever. Dedede wouldn't push if Kirby and Meta weren't comfortable. He didn't need to know what they were to know that they were his best friends (not that he'd ever say somethin' so sappy).

Anyway, Mags got thrown in the dungeon, and Dedede, accompanied by Bandana for extra intimidation, had come down to interrogate Mags himself. Apparently, a small amount of the Master Crown's power had permanently bonded with Magolor. He wasn't nearly as powerful as he was before, but he demonstrated he still had the ability to make energy balls and whatnot.

That power left him too powerful to die, but he was also too injured to live when he was finally defeated for good and the Master Crown had been destroyed. So, when he disintegrated after the crown shattered, he had gone to some weird dimension between life and death, beyond space and time. At that part, he insisted on not telling the full story until they'd found Kirby. Dedede'd had half a mind to do several unpleasant things to Magolor and get the story now, not give the guy a chance to withhold any more information, but Magolor had said the story was a lengthy one and Dedede knew he wouldn't feel like hearing it a second time when they found Kirby, anyway, so he'd let it slide.

Point was, Mags eventually found a way out of that place, which took him straight to Popstar. This had also resurrected him fully, which was why he didn't have a scratch when Dedede found him.

Magolor had then went on to claim that he was so sorry, and that the crown had warped his mind, the intelligence behind it had corrupted him with its power, manipulating him until it could take direct control and turn Magolor into little more than an extension of itself when Dedede had cracked the jewel in the crown.

Dedede could kinda believe that. He had seen that damn crown moving around on Mags' head. He could totally believe it was manipulating him.

Manipulating. Not controlling. Not until it turned him into that monster later on.

Under an influence or not, Magolor had done those things of his own volition. Deciding to take over the universe; trying to kill them, sending Kirby away to NOVA-knew-where. Mags had also lied about everything. He didn't tell them the real reason Landia attacked him, he didn't tell them what his real motives were.

That damn crown.

That was another thing Mags claimed. His motives for stealing the crown were, supposedly, not what they seemed. Apparently, the crown provided infinite knowledge as well as infinite power. Magolor wanted to know what had happened to his ancestors; but since he lacked the strong willpower Landia had, the temptation to screw around with his god-like power made him change his goal to universal domination instead.

Dedede wasn't sure what to think about that.

But that had lead to another (aggressive) conversation about what exactly Magolor's deal was. How was he still around, but didn't remember what had happened to his species, which mysteriously vanished thousands of years ago?

Mags had explained that Halacandrans had lifespans that reached thousands of years. Apparently, the crazy clown dude who had tricked Kirby into summoning NOVA so he could wish to take over Popstar, who Kirby took down eight years ago, was a Halacandran as well. Magolor and this "Marx", as Kirby had called him (a fact Magolor supported; and how would he know, unless he really had met the guy?) had just woken up from stasis pods in a factory somewhere in Egg Engines a couple years before Marx probably settled on Popstar.

Marx studied NOVAS, a Halacandran creation, and Mags studied the Master Crown; with Marx one day leaving Halacandra to do his own thing, presumably having settled on Popstar and caused the whole Mr. Shine and Bright debacle shortly after that. Mags stayed on Halacandra to continue his own research.

Eventually, Marx, who apparently came back from his two deaths the same way Magolor did; by retaining a small fraction of the power he gained from NOVA, returned to Halacandra to tell Magolor all about what had happened and his encounter with (and manipulation of) Kirby, which gave Magolor the idea to, after he lost his own fight with Landia, travel to Popstar to manipulate Kirby (and Dedede, Bandana Dee, and Meta Knight) into defeating Landia for him so he could claim the crown and discover the secret behind his home planet's desolation.

Marx had apparently left Halacandra again to go on some soul-searching journey across space after that.

And Magolor... well, he got drunk on the crown's power and changed goals, and the rest is history.

...

Dedede was on the fence. On the one hand, it all could be some elaborate lie invented by Magolor to gain sympathy; (which was what his pest of a royal judge, Escargoon, who insisted on Magolor's execution only to be overruled by Dedede, insisted) but on the other, it was way too convoluted a story to not have at least some basis in truth, especially considering Magolor knew who Marx was, and knew in intricate detail his history with Kirby.

Either way, after that little chat full of big revelations, Dedede and Bandana had called Meta Knight over from his island home where the Halberd sat, as well as the base of the Meta-Knights, in Orange Ocean, for a meeting in Castle Dedede's throne room to discuss their findings, and to inform him of Magolor's survival. Meta Knight had been a recluse ever since Kirby had gone missing. According to a worried Sword Knight and Blade Knight, Meta had retreated into an increasingly rigorous training regiment; and had been acting abrasive.

Though nobody brought it up, since Meta didn't like to admit it, everybody knew that he considered Kirby a son. Their bond was helped by the fact that, not only had Meta been training Kirby ever since the Nightmare incident, but they were also the only of their kind (besides an ex of Kirby's, not that the kid should be dating so young anyway, mental age aside, in Dedede's opinion, Kirby's three colorful clones that had been created when Meta's corrupted Mirror World counterpart had struck Kirby with his sword, and some super powerful warrior sealed away thousands of years ago by what Meta now believed to be the Halacandrans) that lived on Popstar.

So, it shouldn't have come as any surprise that the knight would completely disregard the meeting he was supposed to be having with Bandana and Dedede and demand to see Magolor in the dungeons after Dedede mentioned his survival, in the preface to their conference. Dedede knew that that would only escalate the situation, though.

Dedede was all for scaring Mags. Whether the entirety of his story was true or not (which would indeed make his motivations a lot more sympathetic) he still tricked them and sent Kirby to what was probably another universe or something.

However, this situation still had to be handled well.

Dedede knew Meta; and he knew that Meta would scare the absolute shit out of Magolor and probably hold him at swordpoint if he was allowed to see him. Traitor or not, Dedede knew that Magolor, whether the group liked the situation or not, was their best shot at getting Kirby back. So, Dedede had turned down Meta's demand.

Before he could get any angrier, though, Dedede had promised Meta that he and Dee (with another Waddle Dee there to transcribe the entire interaction to be presented to Meta afterwards) would interrogate Mags (with all the other details out of the way thanks to round one) about where he'd sent Kirby to. Magolor did indeed seem (key word: seem) sorry for what he'd done, and seemed eager to make it up to them.

That meant he'd been rather cooperative during the interrogation. So cooperative, in fact, that he'd gone above and beyond and made known the fact that, since he still retained some of the power from the Master Crown, he could open Dimensional Rifts.

Which meant that he could get Kirby back.

But of course, it couldn't be that easy. Magolor actually had no idea where he'd sent Kirby. He'd just opened a random-ass portal to some random-ass universe; the only thing Magolor knew about it being that it was far away from Popstar's universe, or any universes neighboring Popstar's universe in the little corner of the multiverse it sat within, like the Mirror World, Patch Land, or, a little farther out, the Mushroom-verse, where Mario lived, and the universes where Link and all his incarnations lived; along with the universes the Popstarians' fellow Smash Bros, competitors hailed from, which were all still relatively close together and to the "Starverse" (as Master Hand liked to call it) where Dedede and the others lived, relative to whatever far-away corner of the multiverse Magolor'd sent Kirby to.

Needless to say, Dedede was fucking pissed. Even timid little Bandana made known his displeasure to Magolor with (get this!) curse words!

Dedede was proud of him, but that was besides the point.

All jokes aside, though, he was real glad he hadn't, in fact, let Meta come along, because if Dedede was mad, hooo-boy, would Meta have been ready to murder. After that whole event, Dedede and Bandana had gone back upstairs and to the throne room to report their findings to Meta Knight.

It took a tearful (for Bandana) conversation and both of them physically restraining Meta to get the knight to calm down and not run downstairs and slice Magolor in half. For the first time in the years that Dedede and Bandana had known him, they had then witnessed as Meta cried. He cried, right in front of them; just broke down into tears.

And Dedede was man enough to admit it. Both Bandana and him had started crying, too, both of them piling on top of Meta to form a group hug, Kirby being a painfully-noticeable absence. After that, Dedede had felt especially sentimental. To honor the change Kirby had started in Dedede's heart that fateful night, when Kirby comforted him after kicking his ass for the first time, and only out of respect for what Kirby would have wanted him to do, Dedede had then moved Magolor from the dungeons to a guest room.

He was under guard from Spear Waddle Dees at all times; of course, and would be escorted should he need to go anywhere, though that would usually be to get water from the castle's downstairs kitchen. Mags' room was equipped with a bathroom.

Dedede, of course, switched out the soldiers, who rotated in shifts. It was the same group of twenty Spear Waddle Dees; specifically, the toughest ones in Dedede's army, with the most combat prowess.

Four would guard at a time, then rotate out. Some groups would have day shifts, others night. All got adequate rest and weren't too overworked. Never let it be said that Dedede didn't take care of his Waddles. Stars-knew they'd taken care of him.

When it came time for squads to switch, a Sword Knight and a Waddle Doo would be on-scene in case Magolor tried to take advantage of the shift-changes, just as a precaution and to make sure everything went smoothly. Then, once the few-second-long process of squad-rotation was complete, the knight and beam-wielding creature would leave, and the fresh squad would take their post outside the door of Mags' room 'till it came time for them to be relieved, and so on. Thankfully, Waddle Dees didn't have to use the restroom, and other Waddles would bring food to Magolor's guards at every meal time. Meals would be provided to Magolor at every meal time as well, by Dedede himself. He also used that time to see if Magolor was making any progress and... "encourage" Magolor to do his very best at finding Kirby.

Suffice it to say, Dedede was not letting that little fucker pull a fast one on him again. But he still resolved to give Mags a chance, if he truly was sorry. It was what Kirby would have wanted. That's why Dedede had moved him to better accommodations. And it might motivate him to keep looking for Kirby, which Dedede had "encouraged" him to spend as much time as was possible without killing himself doing.

Dedede wanted to show that he was willing to give Mags a chance, but also that he didn't trust him. He wanted Mags to be comfortable, but also aware that he wasn't in a five-star hotel. He was still a prisoner. And he was there to do work: finding Kirby.

Shaking himself out of his thoughts, Dedede looked down on the grassy plains of Dream Land, sighing. He had done that a lot lately; retreat into his thoughts and mentally re-check his guard routine for Magolor. And his little mental check-outs were starting to get unhealthily long, even he knew that. It was beginning to make Bandana worried, and once that 'lil fella had reason to be concerned for the well-being of his friends, he wouldn't quit.

He'd stop for a little while with Dedede, but it would only be around three hours before he'd start doting on him again. It reminded him of a less-aggressive Kirby...

"I miss mah 'lil buddy..."

Dedede sighed again, feeling the sun warm his back. The gentle spring breeze wafted by, tickling his light-blue feathers. Dedede, Bandee, and Meta (though especially Dedede, considering he was the country's ruler) had tried to keep the news of Kirby's disappearance secret; and something only their respective inner circles knew about, to prevent mass-panic.

Dedede and all his Waddles, who were loyal enough to take any secret their king trusted them with to the grave.

Bandee and his subordinate soldiers (who technically fell under Dedede's secrecy as well), but who Bandee treated more like best friends.

Meta and his Meta-Knights.

Unfortunately, Dream Land couldn't not notice the absence of its long-time hero almost immediately after his closest comrades, who literally all of Dream Land had witnessed traveling across Popstar with him on a grand adventure, came back without him, while, despite doing their best to hide it from the public, clearly being noticeably depressed.

So, all of Dream Land was anxious. No angry citizens had tried to storm the castle yet, and no true unrest had occurred, but Dedede knew, deep down, he knew, that something had to give, and soon.

Dedede sighed once more. His friends were falling apart. His kingdom was about to fall apart.

...

That damn cream puff. Even when he wasn't around, he was still causing trouble. Everything was falling apart because he wasn't here. All because he had to play the hero, like he always did, and save them.

Save Dedede. (After all he'd done)

...

No.

Damnit, no.

No time to cry. Don't you dare go burstin' into tears on me now, tear ducts!

Dedede couldn't be gettin' all sappy-like! His friends wouldn't fall apart. His kingdom wouldn't fall apart. He wouldn't fall apart. Not if he stopped sittin' here bein' sad and did somethin'! Not if he manned-up and started being the king his subjects needed!

Just like Kirby would have wanted!

With a determined nod to himself, he turned around from where he stood on his castle's balcony and stormed back into his castle.

He knew just the thing he could do to make himself useful to his kingdom; to Kirby.

Magolor was supposed to report to his guards when he woke up every morning, who would, in turn, pass that news along to any nearby Dees, who would then pass that news along to Dedede.

Dedede had gotten no morning report, and it was nine in the morning, far too late in the morning for a prisoner, even one who was supposed to feel a bit more comfortable, and especially one who had work to do, to be sleeping, in Dedede's opinion.

And, considering he called the shots around here, his opinion very much mattered.

Time to wake up ol' Maggie.

Magolor tossed and turned in his sleep, partially-awake. The guilt was eating him alive. He'd finally had it all; everything he'd always wanted. Friends besides Marx. A better place to live besides Halacandra. Happiness.

But oh, oh no. He couldn't have just stopped and given up there, could he? He had to take it a step further. He had to march his sorry-ass back to Halacandra and trick the best friends he'd ever had into beating up an innocent person- no-four innocent people- all so he could acquire an artifact he knew virtually nothing about and that all details of had been nearly lost to history.

Magolor sat up in bed, now fully-awake, clutching his head and trying to quiet the voices.

"Oh, but you didn't even stop there, did you?" They hissed.

"No, you had to take it yet another step further, you had to use your new power to take over the universe."

"Please..." Magolor groaned in pure misery. "I'm sorry..."

"Oh? Your charges haven't even been read and you're already pleading for mercy?"

Magolor whimpered.

"DID YOU SHOW KIRBY MERCY, YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT?! YOU SENT HIM TO SOME REMOTE CORNER OF THE MULTIVERSE AND LEFT HIM TO ROT! YOU LEFT HIM FOR DEAD, AND NOW YOU CAN'T EVEN FIND HIM! THE ONE PERSON WHO EVER BELIEVED IN YOU! AND YET HERE YOU ARE, BEGGING FOR MERCY?!"

Magolor whimpered at the sheer volume of his own self-loathing. His ears were throbbing and his head was pounding.

"YOU HAD IT ALL, MAGOLOR! YOU! HAD! IT! ALL! EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WANTED! AND THEN..."

Magolor flinched, bracing himself.

"YOU THREW IT ALL AWAY!!!"

Magolor began to cry.

"AND FOR WHAT? SO YOU COULD FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO SOME RANDOM-ASS PEOPLE THAT'VE BEEN DEAD FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS? SO YOU COULD FINALLY FEEL STRONG FOR ONCE IN YOUR PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A LIFE, YOU INSIGNIFICANT WEAKLING?"

"FUCK..."

"YOU!!!!"

Magolor screamed.

As the sweat-drenched Halacandran calmed down, he heard footsteps pounding down the hall. Heavy ones. Must be Dedede. He pounded on the door. "Hey! Mags! It's nine in the mornin'; get yo' lazy ass up and get to work!" The king called, voice muffled slightly by the door.

"I'm-I'm up!" He called. "Ya decent?!" The king demanded impatiently. Well, Magolor wouldn't say he was "decent" in any sense of the word. He was a damn wreck. Still, though, he knew in what sense Dedede meant, so he called, "Yes!"

The door opened, admitting the big penguin-like monarch of Dream Land. "Mornin'," the king grumbled, holding a large platter of two over-easy fried Twizzy eggs, a banana, two hash browns, two sausage patties, and a cup of orange juice. The tray was equipped with plastic silverware.

Damn. Plastic. Dedede was smart.

Magolor only then realized just how hungry he was, his stomach growling. Magolor really hoped that wasn't audible.

It appeared it was, if the king's next words were of any indication.

"Good. You're hungry. Eat up. I'm sure you're gonna need it," he said. "You've got a long day ahead of you, after all." Then he set the tray down on Magolor's bare nightstand and turned to walk out the door. Magolor's floating, mitten-clad hand shot forward a few feet in front of him as he called, "King Dedede. Wait. Please."

The King of Dream Land turned around, an eyelid twitching. "I just want you to know; I really am sorry. And I really am trying to find him."

Dedede's eyes narrowed.

"Try harder," he gritted out simply.

"I've been trying my hardest," Magolor said. "Please. I really do want to make up for what I did. For my stupid mistake. If only you'll give me another chance, I will prove myself to you."

Dedede walked up to Magolor; standing directly over his bedside and looming threateningly over him. He was casting a large shadow over Magolor's entire body. "You wanna prove yourself?" He growled. "You want another chance? Here's how ya get it."

He leaned in close, his face now directly in front of Magolor's own. Magolor could feel Dedede's breath on his face as he spoke his next words.

"Find Kirby."

A/N: And there you have it, folks! Now that we know what the gang's been up to in Dream Land, we'll be heading back to Hawkins next chapter, likely permanently, I believe. Personal headcannons I've had for years (mostly regarding Marx and Magolor's origins) came heavily into play in this chapter. I hope it's an interesting explanation. I know I said yesterday that I wouldn't write for a few days, but the inspiration for a brief interlude chapter hit me like a ton of bricks and I knew I had to make it happen. A lot of crossover fics I've read don't really touch on what happens in the world the displaced character came from, or how their loved ones are reacting to their absence. I didn't want my fanfic to do that. I wanted you guys to see that Kirby's friends are looking for and trying to help him while he mucks around in Hawkins. Also, I needed to establish some important lore that I couldn't really introduce any other way unless there was some lazy exposition dump when Kirby (possibly) reunites with Magolor at the end of the fic. Yeah, I know Magolor isn't actually from Halcandra in canon, but I wrote this before I found that out and Return to Dream Land Deluxe released. The lore's a bit different in this fic's canon. So there you have it. Now that this is out of the way (and my hair), I likely will be taking that break from writing, since I now have the difficult task of, well, the canon plot of Stranger Things season 3 (with a healthy heap of KirbyKirbyKirby) to tackle. Also, yes, I am, in fact, using the classic headcanon of the Sun and Moon in Milky Way Wishes being Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright.

Also, yeah, we're not doing that pointless miscellaneous second form stuff here. Magolor went Soul immediately after his first form's death. Because there's (obviously) no True Arena or Extra Mode in this canon, I had to work in Magolor's Soul form this way, instead. Drawcia Soul was the first Soul boss in the series, and she went Soul as the second phase of her normal battle, because Canvas Curse had no True Arena. Same thing happened here with Magolor. No unnamed second form; Magolor went EX like he does in Extra Mode and then immediately went Soul after being defeated.

With all that said, though, please, as always, give me reviews. Words help me both improve and keep me motivated more than anything else.

I, as always, hope you guys enjoyed; and I'll see you guys...

Next time...
