Part VIII 'Bella In All Her Naked Glory'
Chapter 25
A month later and Bella was back at her place in Denver for a few days. Alice and Jasper had already headed off to Texas and Bella was getting ready for a Halloween party she had been invited to. Her friends Jill and Amber were going to pick her up, and Bella was looking forward to seeing their reaction to her costume. She pulled up her tight mini skirt and rolled up her fishnet stockings. Her top shows a good amount of cleavage and was quite form fitting, so no bra was necessary. Her outfit was certainly something she would never wear on her own, but this was for a party and she wanted to enjoy herself so why not show off her body now that she had one worth showing. She applied some makeup and put on some ruby red lipstick and after the finishing touches she was all set for the party.
The doorbell rang and Bella rushed downstairs to let her friends in. As she opened the door, she was immediately struck by how incredible Jill and Amber looked in their costumes. Jill was dressed as a sexy nurse, complete with a stethoscope and white stockings that accentuated her long legs. Amber, on the other hand, was decked out in a Wonder Woman outfit that left little to the imagination.
"Damn, girls, you look amazing!" Bella exclaimed, taking in their costumes. "Jill, you're rocking that nurse's outfit. And Amber, you make a perfect Wonder Woman! I'm loving the boots and the lasso."
Amber's eyes widened as she looked Bella up and down. "Holy crap, Bella, you look incredible! That sexy vampire costume is next-level hot. I love the fangs and blood dripping down your chin. You're definitely going to turn some heads tonight."
Bella grinned, feeling confident and sexy in her costume. "Thanks! I figured, why not show off a little? It's Halloween, after all." She looked back at Jill and Amber. "But seriously, you guys look fantastic. We're going to be the hottest trio at this party."
Bella gestured for Jill and Amber to come closer. "Let's take some photos together, guys. I want to show off how great we all look tonight," she said with a grin as she held out her phone. Jill and Amber leaned in, each striking a pose as Bella snapped a few pictures. "Emmett is going to love these," Bella said as she sent the photos to her brother. "He's always been a big fan of Halloween, just like us." She slipped her phone into her purse and looked back at her friends. "Ready to head out and have some fun?"
As they got into the car, Bella settled into the backseat and stretched out her legs. "So who else is going to be at this party?" she asked, looking over at Jill and Amber.
Jill turned around to face her. "Ted's going to be there, dressed as a doctor to go with my nurse's outfit. And Harry, Theo, and Rachel are all coming too. Rachel told me they really went all out making the house look spooky. It's going to be a blast."
Bella couldn't wait. She loved Halloween parties, especially ones where people went all out with the decorations and costumes. As they drove to the party, Bella shared her excitement with her friends. "I can't wait to go to Paris. It's going to be such an adventure. The art, the food, the culture...I'm ready to immerse myself in it all. Of course, I'll miss you guys terribly, but I can't wait to see what's out there in the world." She grinned at her friends and they all cheered at the prospect of her upcoming adventure.
Jill grinned at her. "You better find some hot European hunk while you're there, Bella. Your standards might be too high. I've known you for two years and I've never seen you go after anyone. Just go for it, trust me."
Amber chuckled. "Come on, Bella, you'll be in Paris! Live a little and go out with some guys. Who knows, you might find your perfect match."
Bella grinned at her friends, appreciating their encouragement. "You guys are right. Maybe I need to be more open-minded and take some risks."
Jill nodded. "Exactly. You never know where life might take you. And who knows, maybe you'll come back with a French accent and a hot French boyfriend."
They all laughed, the lighthearted conversation making Bella hopeful that she might find someone.
As they arrived at the party, Bella could hear the thumping bass of the music as soon as they got out of the car. Excitement building in her chest, she led Jill and Amber towards the door, eager to see what awaited them inside.
As they entered the house, Bella's eyes widened in amazement. The main room was transformed into a spooky wonderland, with flickering candles casting eerie shadows on the walls. A giant spiderweb was strung up in the corner, complete with a menacing-looking spider lurking in its center. The walls were adorned with ghostly silhouettes and spooky portraits, and the floor was scattered with autumn leaves.
"Wow, they really went all out on the decorations!" Bella exclaimed to Jill and Amber as they walked in, grinning from ear to ear.
The costumes were just as impressive. Bella spotted a group of people dressed as classic horror movie villains, including a terrifying Freddy Krueger and a blood-splattered Michael Myers. She also noticed her friend Rachel dressed as Lara Croft, looking every bit the fearless adventurer in her rugged clothing and combat boots.
Bella couldn't help but feel that she and her friends looked the best but she was probably biased.
As they made their way into the heart of the party, Bella couldn't resist taking in all the spooky details around her. She spotted a cauldron bubbling away in the corner, and a table of spooky snacks, including candy apples coated in blood-red caramel. In the dimly lit room, she caught a glimpse of a figure hanging from the ceiling, shrouded in cobwebs and sporting an eerie grin.
With a thrill of excitement, Bella led her friends to the dance floor, where the infectious beat of "The Monster Mash" had everyone up and moving. "This is going to be a night to remember!" she shouted over the music, as they let the Halloween spirit take over.
Bella had been having a great time at the party, the music was great and the company was even better. She had been twirling on the dance floor with many different guys, most of them complimenting her outfit. She loved the attention, and every time someone made a comment about her being a vampire, she would flash her fangs and play along.
Suddenly, Harry appeared in front of her, a huge smile on his face. "Hey Bella, long time no see!" he exclaimed, giving her a warm hug.
Bella smiled back. "Harry, it's great to see you again! How was your internship in Chicago?"
"It was awesome, thanks for asking," Harry replied. "But can I just say, your costume is amazing! You look like a real vampire. You could definitely suck my blood anytime." he joked, grinning.
Bella laughed. "Thanks Harry, but I like you too much to drain you dry. Maybe some of these other bozos." She looked around the crowded party and grinned mischievously. "But let's hit the dance floor, shall we?"
Bella was having a great time dancing with Harry when suddenly, she heard a loud crash and the sound of glass breaking. As she turned to see what had happened, she was hit with the most mouth-watering scent she had ever smelled. Her eyes widened as she saw a guy had fallen onto a glass coffee table, causing it to shatter into pieces. He was fine, but there was a lot of blood dripping down his arm.
Bella closed her eyes and held her breath, trying to resist the overwhelming urge to take in the tantalizing scent of fresh blood. Jasper had helped her prepare for this moment by gradually exposing her to the scent of human blood, but this was different. The scent was so rich and alluring, unlike anything she had ever encountered before. She couldn't help but think back to how Edward had described her scent as being the most irresistible thing he had ever experienced. Was this how he felt when he was around her?
Bella's opened her eyes and she took in the scene before her. The man was unharmed, save for the blood that dripped down his arm and onto the floor. Bella had never been one to struggle with being around humans, this was the first time she found herself visibly shaken. Her vampire instincts were screaming at her to drain the man, but she knew that wasn't who she wanted to be.
Taking a deep breath, Bella reminded herself of who she was and who she wanted to be. She was stronger than her thirst, and she refused to let her vampire instincts dictate her actions. Bella repeated this mantra to herself, over and over, until she felt her body start to calm down.
Slowly, she forced herself to breathe normally, despite the mouthwatering scent that filled the air. The temptation was strong, but Bella knew she was in control. She was stronger than her thirst, and she wouldn't let it define her.
And Bella proved to herself that she was, in fact, stronger. The party continued, and she remained focused, not once feeling the urge to succumb to her vampire instincts and harm an innocent human. As the night came to a close, and Bella left with Amber and Jill, she felt a sense of pride wash over her. They dropped her off at her house, and as she waved goodbye, Bella walked into the empty house, feeling content with her newfound strength.
Bella rushed to change into her hunting attire, shedding her fake vampire fangs and wiping off the makeup from her face. She needed to hunt, and fast. The incident at the party had left her with a hunger that was gnawing at her insides. Once she was dressed and feeling like herself again, she darted out of the back of her house and into the forest.
As Bella sprinted through the dense forest, she scanned the area with her heightened senses. It didn't take her long to pick up on the scent of a nearby herd of deer. With great haste, she descended upon them, her shield snapping the necks of three deer instantly while the rest scattered in panic. She reached the first before its body had fallen to the ground and she drank greedily, satisfying her hunger with the warm blood.
After quenching her thirst from all three deer, Bella took a moment to gaze up at the starry sky and reflect on the events of the night. She was grateful for her strength and willpower, which had allowed her to resist the temptation that had presented itself. Feeling invigorated, she decided to take advantage of the cool night air and went for a run, reveling in the feeling of the wind rushing through her hair.
