Chapter 23:

At Whitney's restaurant Finn and Steffy sit at a table as Whitney comes out of the kitchen, "Sorry to keep you guys waiting, I had to put out a couple of fires in the kitchen. Figuratively of course." Whitney laughs.

"We are in no rush," Steffy says smiling at her sister in law. Over the past few weeks Steffy and Whitney have been getting very close and have become the best of friends.

Whitney and Finn sip wine as Steffy sips sparkling water since she found out she is pregnant. They laugh and chat about how their days have been going. Whitney can't help but think about how nice it feels to have such a big tight nit family now. Her and her brother's have hit it off immediately. Her and her mom talk daily, she is enjoying being an aunt to such wonderful little kids and is exciting her family is expanding.

As they laugh and get lost in conversation, they do not notice a very well dressed man walk in the restaurant. He is a tall man with dark hair. As he walks in the restaurant he takes his sunglasses off to reveal dark brown eyes. He gazes across the room taking in the surroundings. He spots the table with three adults talking and laughing. He immediately notices the similarities of the man to his own features, he notices one of the women bares a striking resemblance to a woman he once loved very much. He smiles to himself as he walks towards the table.

As they continue laughing Whitney notices the man approaching the table. "Hi," She says as she looks up at him, "How can I help you?"

"I'm looking for Whitney Frost and John Finnigan."

Whitney and Finn exchange glances, Finn speaks up, "I'm John Finnigan. How can I help you." He doesn't want to give away his sister's identity until he knows who the stranger is.

The stranger smiles genuinely at Finn, "My name is Henry Moretti. I believe you have been told about me."

Finn's eye's widen as he realizes this is father. He and Whitney look at each other in shock as Steffy holds onto Finn's hand. Henry looks at Whitney, "You must be Whitney. You look just like your mother." He tells her as she smiles up at him. She jumps up immediately and wraps her arms around him and begins to cry tears of joy.

Finn stands up and hugs Henry too, he takes Steffy's hand, "I want you to meet my wife, Steffy."

Henry smiles at Steffy, "It's nice to meet you Steffy." He says as he gives her a hug, "I believe we all have a lot of catching up to do."

Hours later, Quinn is sitting in her office at S.T. Marone. She has started a new job in charge of her own jewelry company within her daughter in law's company. She has the sole ownership to the company but they work together hand in hand. There is a knock at the door, before she can say anything the door opens and she sees her two oldest kids walk in. She smiles, then her smile turns to shock as she sees who they have in tow, Henry Moretti. She thought she'd never see him again.

He smiles at her, "Hello Quinn, you look amazing."

Tears begin to fill Quinn's eyes as she walks over and hugs him. Whitney and Finn smile as they see their parent's reconnect. They have no idea what went on between them in the past, but they are happy to see that they seem genuinely happy to see each other at this time.

"Henry," Quinn says as she wipes away tears, "I thought I'd never see you again."

"I know," Henry says, "I was mad at you for several years. I was resentful, I was mourning my children. I haven't even sorted out my feelings yet, but I'm just happy to have them back in my life." He says as he looks over at his two thriving children.

"You have every right to hate me." Quinn says.

"I don't hate you." Henry says cutting off Quinn, "We have a lot to discuss. I'm sure there will be arguing. But just know, I don't and never could hate you."

Quinn smiles, she has so many questions for Henry, "What have you been doing all these years? Did you get married? Have any other kids? What do you do for work?" There are so many questions Quinn has.

"No, never married, no other children, and we don't have to talk about work right now."

Whitney and Finn exchange glances at Henry's deflection to the work question. They make note of it but decide not to push right now, since they don't want anything to ruin their reunion.

"We have a lot to discuss, and a lot of years to catch up on. I hear that I have some grandchildren now, and more on the way. I'd love to meet them."

"I can have dinner prepared at the restaurant, we have a private party room in the back," Whitney explains, "Everyone can come for dinner and we can catch up."

"That sounds perfect." Henry mentions. He thinks to himself that he hopes no one is going to push him on his job. He is not ready to share that part of his life with his kids or Quinn. He never thought he'd have kids to expose to that part of his life.
