Asamad only just started to become conscious again as he heard Daphne, Flim Flam, and the others calling for Vincent.

"Can you hear us, Vince?" Flim Flam asked.

"Where did Asamad go? What happened?" Shaggy wondered.

"Wait guys, let him stand up first," Daphne told them. "He might be in pain from falling and being knocked out."

The ghost let out a small groan, rubbing his head as he stood up, and then looked at the others.

"Are you alright, Vincent?" Daphne asked in concern. "Oh gosh, your eyes are red, you're pale, and you look like you're… dead!"

"I'm alright. However, I'm not Vincent," Asamad replied.

Everyone else's eyes widened as the realization hit them. That it was Asamad's voice, only now echoing and sounding a little bit more demonic, coming from Vincent's body…

Daphne let out a horrified scream and fell to her knees, followed by Shaggy and Scooby both shrieking and the others gasping in horror.

"Asamad…" Velma whispered.

Asamad looked down, seeing Vincent's hands instead of his own. "No," he whispered in fright as he too realized that he was now possessing Vincent.

"No, no, no," he repeated. "We have to fix this. We have to reverse this right now!"

"Where did Vincent go!?" Daphne questioned, her voice now trembling. "If your soul is in his body, where is his soul? Tell us, please!"

"Daphne, I don't know. I wish I knew where his soul went, if I knew, I would tell you immediately. I am sorry that I do not."

Cheryl looked up at him in confusion.

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"No one knows where a soul goes when their body is possessed. Not even the spirits that possess the bodies themselves. A lot of people believe a lot of different things. One thing they know for certain is that the soul doesn't remember the body's possession, since it is dormant," he told her.

Everyone else looked at each other now, and then back at Asamad.

"No!" Daphne panicked. "This can't be happening right now, it can't be!"

"So, Vincent's soul could be anywhere right now…" Flim Flam paused. "How are we supposed to find him if we don't know where he went?" He asked, also panicking.

"And wake him up and get his soul back into his body," Jayden added. "Also, figure out how Asamad's soul even went into Vincent's body when Rankor casted a spell to try to possess Vincent's body himself?"

"That last question I think I can answer, actually. He didn't specify which red ghost while he was casting the spell. So, it just got him and Asamad mixed up," Velma said.

"Okay so Rankor's still out there, which means that we have to find him too and trap him in the chest," Cheryl pointed out.

Daphne sighed and looked away, finding herself unable to look at Asamad.

"I can't even think about Rankor right now with this going on! I think we should just go home for now and figure out this possession thing before we go looking for him," she suggested.

"Alright, I'll teleport us-" Asamad replied, but then was cut off by Daphne.

"No!" she exclaimed. "I know you're on our side, but I don't trust you using magic while in Vincent's body."

He looked up and sighed.

"Fine then, I won't."

"We should climb up the ropes and take the plane home instead," she told everyone.

Everyone nodded in agreement, and started climbing up their ropes, unable to stop wondering what was going to happen from now on.

Shaggy wasn't even sure if he could fly the plane after what had just happened, but seeing Daphne being barely able to sit in the pilot seat, and everyone else also unable to fly it, he knew he had to do it today.

The plane had been quiet so far up until now, when he started hearing Flim Flam talking to Velma and the others.

"So, where do you think Vince went?" Flim Flam asked.

"I don't know," Cheryl replied. "Maybe the afterlife?"

"That's not possible," Jayden told her. "He's not dead, well his face and body may look dead, but he's not."

"True, but he's not exactly alive either. It's really more of a state of being somewhere in between dead and alive," she said.

"Maybe he's in between the afterlife and Earth?" Velma guessed. "I mean, yes, he can't cross over to the afterlife. However, I don't think he's still on Earth either."

Daphne, throughout all of this, had been looking out the window, stuck in her thoughts about what happened, and snapped back into reality once she heard that last sentence.

She turned around to face the others.

"Remember when we met Ophelia and she was trapped in that dimension because she couldn't move onto the afterlife?" she recalled. "What was the name of it?"

"The Dimension Of Lost Spirits!" Jayden exclaimed.

"That's it! She was a lost spirit, until Asamad and the rest of us helped her cross over. What if Vincent got stuck there too? Think about it, it's a dimension for spirits that weren't on Earth but got stuck. What if he's a lost spirit now too? He's not on Earth, and he couldn't have gone over to the afterlife, so maybe he's there?" the redhead guessed.

"Daphne, that makes so much sense!" Flim Flam exclaimed as well. "But wait, Ophelia was dead. She was a ghost. She needed to cross over, but she couldn't. Vincent may not be alive, but he's not totally dead like her."

"He's a spirit right now though. Sure, he might not be dead, but he was removed from his body. So, maybe he doesn't have to be totally dead to end up there. Maybe, being a soul whose body got possessed is enough for him to get stuck there," Velma shrugged.

Shaggy put the plane on autopilot mode and made his way over to them.

"How do we get there?" he questioned.

Everyone paused and looked at each other for a moment.

"We don't know…" Cheryl realized.

"Actually, we do. Asamad opened the portal to the dimension after he found it the first time. We just have to get him to open the portal for us again," Jayden informed her. He then looked over to Shaggy. "Wait, aren't you supposed to be flying the plane?"

"It's on autopilot right now," Shaggy responded. "Okay, so we'll have to ask Asamad to open the portal to that dimension for us when we get home and search for him. Gosh, I hope this works…"

Notes: The Krubera Cave is actually the 2nd deepest cave in the world and seems to be the darkest cave in the world.

Also, for those that don't know, Ophelia is an OC of mine that first appeared in my fic titled "Thousands Of Years."
