And boom chapter number 6 of the story!

I am on a roll with this!

As usual thanks to Petrus, Qazse, and Yellowpikmin88 for going over this chapter before I released it.

Had a lot of fun making this and sets up something for one of the characters.

So I hope you all enjoy.

"You have no idea we're going do you?" Sokka asked Aang with an unimpressed tone as Aang flew Appa across the ocean…with no hints of where they are going at all. Meanwhile Luffy was just starring out into the ocean with a blank look on his face, Katara was sewing up some cloths, and Zoro was leaning against the edge of the saddle with his hands behind his head. "Do you even know where the north pole is?"

"Well…I know it's near the water." Aang told Sokka with a happy tone as he turned back to him. "And it's north too!"

Sokka looked around and saw nothing but water around them at the moment. And checking the compass he had he saw they were heading north. "Well I guess we're on the right track then." Sokka let out sarcastically as he looked at Luffy. "So what do you think we should do oh wise captain Luffy?"

"Hmmmmmm…I think…" Luffy hummed a bit as he continued to look out into the ocean. "We need a navigator."

"Wait…does that mean you don't know how to navigate?!" Sokka yelled at Luffy in disbelief. So he's a pirate…who can't swim…and can't even navigate?! "Then how did you even find your way to the south pole?!"

"I got lucky." Luffy gave an incredibly Luffy-like answer.

"…Why did I agree to join your crew again?" Sokka asked as he laid down on his back on the saddle. It was moments like this when he questioned all the big mysterious of life. Where did bending come from? Why do so many things taste like artic-hen? And why the absolute hell did he agree to join the pirate crew of the biggest idiot on the entire planet? "You're going to get us all killed one day. I just know it."

"Hey quit your whining already?" Zoro asked Sokka in an annoyed tone as he opened up one of his eyes to give the water tribe boy an annoyed look. "I'm trying to get some shut eye."

"Do you just do nothing but sleep?" Sokka asked Zoro in an exasperated tone. "Why am I the only one concerned about our survival?!"

"Just try and relax Sokka, we'll be fine. Just try and relax." Aang told Sokka with a carefree tone. Besides he knew exactly where he was going and it would be completely worth it when they got there! Glancing to Katara, Aang then smiled as he turned to Momo, who was perched on his shoulder. "Momo, marbles please." The lemur let out a purr as he climbed into Aang's shirt and pulled out two gray marbles that he handed the monk. "Hey Katara, check out this airbending trick!" Put one hand over the one with the marbles on it and, using his airbending, started to spin them around quickly in a circular motion.

While Katara focused on her task, Luffy did turned to Aang and smiled as he saw Aang's trick. "Woah cool!" Luffy complimented, making Aang grin.

But Katara didn't even look as she said. "That's great, Aang."

Aang put on a disappointed frown as he stopped doing the trick, much to Luffy's disappointment, and looked down at Katara. "But you didn't even look."

Katara then briefly stopped sewing to look at Aang with an enthused smile. "That's great!" She complimented…only causing Aang to look more downcasted.

"But I'm not even doing it…" Aang just wanted to impress Katara a little bit but it seemed like she hardly cared.

"Stop bugging her, airhead." Sokka waved off Aang, like he was trying to shoe him away. "You need to give girls space when they do their sewing."

As soon as Sokka said this Katara looked to him with an annoyed glared, and Zoro opened up an eye again to look at him. "What does me being a girl have to do with sewing?" Katara demanded to know just what exactly Sokka meant by that.

"Simple." Sokka shrugged as he leaned back casually. "Girls are better at fixing pants than guys and guys are better at hunting and fighting and stuff like that. It's just the natural order of things." Before Katara could do anything in retort…

WHAM!

"GAAHH!" Sokka yelled out in pain as Zoro suddenly kicked Sokka's side, hard. Katara covered her mouth in response, not out of sympathy but to cover the giggles coming out of her mouth as Sokka rubbed the spot Zoro kicked and breathing hard in pain. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"Hahahaha!" Luffy laughed at Sokka's expense.

"I'd shut my damn mouth if I was you." Zoro threatened Sokka, glaring right into the water tribe boy's eyes with a pissed off look. "If that's really the way you think then you're bigger moron then I already thought."

"What?! What'd I say?!" Sokka yelled out, still feeling immense pain from that kick as he gave Zoro his own angry look. He didn't do anything wrong! "That's just how it is! Not like I make the rules or anything!"

SLASH!

"EEP!" Sokka let out in fright as Zoro slashed one of his swords at him, grazing Sokka's cheek and leave a small cut before holding the sword up to Sokka's neck. Sokka then looked to Zoro and flinched as the swordsman gave him a look that could kill.

"I suggest you just shut up now." Zoro growled out at Sokka before sheathing his sword once more. "I'll have you know the greatest warrior I ever knew was a girl. So shut it with the dumbass sexist talk got it?" Sokka only gulped in response as he rose his hands up.

Katara sent Zoro a thankful smile, while he may have been a bit extreme, she did appreciate the swordsman standing up for her like that. "Thank you for that Zoro, I'll tell you if he starts acting out again." Zoro nodded at Katara while Sokka paled at his little sister. "Oh and Sokka, here are your pants!"

Katara then tossed the piece of clothing she was sewing right at Sokka's face, a big hole still in them. "W-W-Wait Katara no!" Sokka pleaded to his little sister as he held up his still damaged clothing. "I can't wear these! Katara please!"

"Relax Sokka!" Aang smiled as he looked forward and saw their next destination coming up. "Where we're going you won't need pants!"

"Woohoo!" Luffy cheered as he stood up with a grin. "Then let's go already!"

"Why the heck are you excited about that?!" Zoro and Katara yelled at Luffy with response. The rubber man seemed way too enthusiastic about that.

And so Aang directed Appa downward at the island Aang had his eyes set on.

Upon landing, the group found themselves on a nice sandy and snowy beach with leafless trees around and a trail heading somewhere else on the island. "We just made a pit stop yesterday." Sokka pointed out as everyone hopped off Appa to see exactly where they were. But as far as Sokka was concerned they were just wasting time. "Shouldn't we get a little more flying done before we camp out?"

"He's right." Katara agreed with her brother as Aang looked out past the shore of the beach they were on, keeping his eyes on the water. "At this rate, we won't get to the North Pole until spring."

"Hey come on you guys we're pirates!" Luffy told them his usual grin as he looked at their new surroundings with an excited look in his eye. "It's our job to explore every island we come across!"

"…Well that does sound like something pirates do," Katara admitted, causing Sokka to let out a sigh.

"I think I saw a town that way as we were landing," Zoro said as he pointed at the pathway leading into the beach. "Couldn't hurt to stock up on some more food. For obvious reasons." Right at Zoro said that, everyone but Aang gave Luffy a deadpanned look.

"Guys! Look!" Aang then pointed out to the ocean, getting everyone's attention as they saw absolutely colossal fish leap out of the water. "That's why we're here. Elephant koi, and I'm gonna ride it. Katara, you've got to watch me!"

As Aang begun to take off his cloths, Luffy stared at the gigantic fish with a hungry look with drool escaping his mouth. "Oh wow that looks delicious!" Luffy gave a gluttonous smile as he licked his lips. "We gotta catch one of em! I'm hungry!"

"They're not for eating Luffy, they're for riding!" Aang told his captain, though it didn't seem like he was paying attention, before leaping right into the water. "COLD!" Aang yelled out as soon as he went into the ocean. But that didn't stop him from swimming towards the elephant koi with an excited look on his face. As Aang swam towards the fish Appa walked away after taking an interest in something with everyone watching the monk.

After reaching them as soon as one of the giant koi leapt up and grabbed the fin of the koi fish and held on tight, letting the creature drag him around. "Hahahahaha!" Aang laughed as he rode the koi. Even as it dived back under water Aang held his breath and continued to hold on as the elephant koi leapt back up into the air. "WOOHOO!" Aang cheered as he waved to everyone watching. Katara waved back as Momo jumped up and down repeatedly while Luffy just continued to stare hungrily at the fish with Sokka and Zoro just watching silently.

"He looks pretty good out there," Katara said while clapping her hands as she watched Aang riding the fish.

"You kidding me the fish is doing all the work," Sokka let out with an unimpressed tone and expression.

"Come on Aang hurry up and bring it over here!" Luffy yelled out to the monk with an impatient look. "I'm starving!"

Grooooowl.

"Huh?" Katara looked to see Appa putting something into his mouth. "No, Appa. Don't eat that!"

As Aang looked back to shore the smile soon fell from his face as he noticed Katara walked away, no longer looking towards him. "Oh man..." Aang just wanted to show off a little to Katara, he thought for sure this would get her attention after the marbles didn't work. But it looks like this wasn't working all too well either. However as Aang was looking towards the shore, he failed to notice the large shadow of something underneath the water, something that dwarfed even the Elephant Koi in size.

Zoro and Sokka were quick to notice this and their eyes widened in alarm. "There's something in the water!" Sokka yelled out as Aang continued to ride the koi. One by one the other koi swimming through the water were pulled down.

"Aang get out of there!" Zoro yelled out as they watched the fish disappear.

"What?" Aang rose a brow in confusion was he looked behind him and saw one of the koi disappear. Aang gasped in surprise as he felt the koi he was riding finally get dragged down, making Aang let go and get flung into the water. As Aang resurfaced he noticed a shadow being cast down on him and looked back to seeing a fin that looked as big as an entire elephant koi. "AAAAAAHHHH!" Aang yelled out as he jumped out of water and started running away as fast as he could, running fast enough to run on the surface of the water with whatever creature the fin was attached to chasing after him.

Thankfully Aang managed to escape back to shore, running into Sokka in the process and sending them both to the edge of the beach and into a tree. Katara, Zoro, and Momo were quick to go check on the two, well mostly Aang, with Luffy continuing to look out into the ocean. "What was that thing?" Katara asked as Aang started to put his cloths on. "A sea king?"

"Well judging by that fin, it certainly seem big enough to be a sea king," Zoro crossed his arms in thought, picturing the fin of whatever the hell that thing was. "And if its marked this place as its territory then it's a good thing we're travelling with Appa for now."

"HEY! YOU ATE MY DINNER!" Luffy suddenly shouted out as loud as he could with an enraged expression. Everyone turned to Luffy and their eyes widened in shock as they saw him walking out into the water. "COME ON BACK OUT! I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!"

"Luffy! Get back here!" Sokka yelled out as he and Zoro went after him before the straw hat pirate ended up drowning himself. "You can't swim remember!" With Zoro and Sokka each grabbing an arm the two struggled to pull Luffy away from the ocean together before he could even attempt to go after whatever the hell that thing was. "Look let's just hit the road before that thing comes back."

As Zoro was helping Sokka drag Luffy back to land, the swordsman suddenly looked back. Releasing Luffy we quickly draw one of his swords and used it to block an incoming projectile that came towards him, getting everyone's attention. "We're being ambushed!" Zoro yelled out as everyone quickly started looking around for whoever threw that. "Alright whoever's there show yourselves!"

Suddenly a group of about five female warriors glad in green kimino's with face descended from the treetops around the group. The girls didn't say a word as they quickly tried to subdue everyone with one warrior pulling Sokka's coat hood over his head and quickly taking him down, another warrior did the same to Katara and brought up to the ground.

Another warrior tried to grab Aang by the collar but the young Avatar was able to able to side step and spin out of the way and caught her off balance with Momo coming in and jump on top of the warrior's head to send her falling onto the ground before the lemur flew onto Aang's shoulder. Another warrior tried to attack Luffy from behind by the rubber man simply spun around and round house kicked the warrior in the face and sent her to the ground.

A warrior with light brown hair charged at Zoro with two fan-blades in her hands and tried to jump at the green haired man and attack. But Zoro was able to react perfectly as he quickly drew another sword and used two of his blades to block the incoming attack. "Big mistake." Zoro told the brown-haired warrior, surprising her. Twisting his sword, Zoro was able to over-power her and disarm her, both fans falling onto the sand as Zoro pushed the brown-haired warrior back, the warrior barley able to on her feet. "Unless you have a death wish, you better have a damn good reason for attacking as like that."

"Grrr…" The brown haired warrior growled in irritation as she reached into her sleeves and through a couple of daggers at Zoro. But the swordsman didn't even flinch as he used one of his swords to easily block all of them causing the warriors eyes to widen. "No way…"

"H-Hey wait! Please stop!" Aang asked as he continued to dodge the expert fan swings of the warrior that initially tried to ambush him. "Why are you attacking us!?"

"You're trespassing on our island!" The warrior yelled as she slowly got frustrated as Aang continued to evade her attacks. "Now stand still!"

"So hey what's with the make up?" Luffy asked curiously as the remaining three warriors circled around him with their fans out. "You guys clowns or something?"

This instantly caused tick marks to appear on the three warriors face as they glared at Luffy. "We're not clowns!" One of them yelled as she turned to her fellow warriors. "Get him girls!"

Luffy only laughed as all three charged at him. "To slow!" Right as they were about to attack him, Luffy jumped up high into the air making the three warriors eyes to widened as they tried to stop themselves and ended up running right into each other. "Gum-Gum Whip!" As he was in midair Luffy spun around and whipped his leg, stretching it out and striking all three warriors and sending them flying around the beach, landing face first in the sand.

The warriors attacking Aang and Zoro respectably both stopped as they witness Luffy stretching his body out and their jaws dropped in shock. "His body…" The brown-haired warrior couldn't believe what she was seeing. "How did he do that?!"

"Don't focus on him!" Zoro yelled as he ran at the warrior. She gasped and was barley able to jump back in time as Zoro slashed at her, though he was able to graze her and made a tear in his kimono. "I'm your opponent. You should be focusing on no one else."

The brown eyed warrior glared at Zoro as she pulled out two more fans from the belt he was wearing. "Yeah," The warrior nodded as she and Zoro looked each other in the eye. "You're right!" The warrior then ran at Zoro as he stood in place. The warrior crossed her arms in an X formation and held her fans sideways before slashing them at the swordsman.

But Zoro brought one sword up in front of him to block the attack before thrusting his other sword for it, striking the warrior and tearing through her cloths some more and breaking her stance. Zoro then brought his blades back and turned them towards their dull sides and struck the brown haired warriors hands and disarming her once again before turning his blades to the sharp end again. "Two Sword Style - Sai Kuru!" Holding his swords in front of him, Zoro pointed them up like rhino horns and spin-slashing them around himself and striking the girl and tearing up her cloths more and sending her flying back.

Though the thin chainmail armor she was wearing under her kimono protected her she still gained many cuts over her body from that single attack. She groaned a bit as she landed on her back, but before she could try to get up a sword was pointing at her neck and she looked up to see Zoro glaring at her. "Now I'll ask one more time." The swordsman said in a dark tone. "Why are you attacking us."

"Suki!" The warrior attacking Aang ceased her attacks as she looked to her leader in concern.

The warrior now known as Suki sweated a bit in fright, but refused to show any sign of fear. "You're trespassing on Kyoshi Island!" Suki explained as she glared up at Zoro. "We don't take kindly to visitors, for all we know you could be fire nation spies, or pirates!"

"We're pirates!" Luffy bluntly explained causing Katara and Sokka, after they recovered and stood up, to face palm.

"Looks like we were right then." Suki narrowed her eyes at Zoro and the others. She was gonna die before she let these pirates pillage her village. "Get off our island now!"

"Not exactly in a position to be making demands." Zoro stated as he held the blade closer to Suki's neck, making her back up.

"Hey wait! Did you say Kyoshi?" Aang asked as he turned to Suki after hearing this islands name. "Like Avatar Kyoshi?"

"Yes," The Kyoshi Warrior closest to Aang nodded in confirmation. "This island is named after her."

"Wait, Zoro let her go! We don't need to fight them!" Aang told Zoro before looking to Suki with a smile. "I actually knew Kyoshi!"

"You? Know Kyoshi?" Another warrior askes all of them gave Aang a glare. "That's impossible. Avatar Kyoshi died over 300 years ago, there's no way you could know her."

"But I do know her. I was her." Aang explained as all the Kyoshi Warriors gave Aang surprised looks. "I'm the Avatar!"

"Oh really?" Suki asked as she stood up, Zoro letting her go like Aang requested. But he still kept his swords out in case she or the other's tried anything. "You can't be Avatar, he was an airbender who disappeared 100 years ago, if you're the Avatar then prove it!"

"Glady! Alright everyone get ready for some airbending action!" Swirling his hands around, Aang began to form a ball of air in his hands and once it was big enough he placed it on the ground and hoped onto it. "Tada!" Aang smiled widely as all the warriors watched in amazement, even more so as Aang started move around and ride the airball. "Woohoo! Yeeeeah!" Aang cheered out…before running into a tree and let out a grunt as he fell off the airball…and a bunch of snow fell onto him.

"You really are the Avatar…" Suki let out with a shocked voice. A smile soon came to her face as she ran up to Aang and helped him off, dusting the snow off the Avatar. "Come on, you have to come to our village! Everyone needs to see you!"

"Sure thing!" Aang smiled at the conflict being resolved peacefully. "Come on guy's let's go check their village out!"

"I hope they have meat there!" Luffy grinned as he and the other warriors followed Suki and Aang. Zoro soon followed too as he sheathed his swords.

"Hopefully they're have some booze," Zoro said as he followed close behind.

"Well glad that didn't end badly." Katara smiled as she turned to her brother, who had a grumpy look on his face. "What? What's wrong?" Sokka only grunted as he crossed his arms and looked away, Katara soon gaining a smirk as she realized what was up. "Wait a second…you're upset you were easily taken down by a bunch of girls weren't you?"

"What?!" Sokka yelled as he briefly glared at Katara before looking away again. "No I'm not! I…let them take me down!"

"Oh yeah, sure." Katara rolled her eyes in response, getting a growl of irritation from her brother. "Well while you stay her and pout I'm gonna go with them." And so Katara began follow after everyone else, with Sokka soon sighing and following in the back.

"Oh yeah! This is delicious!" Luffy let out with his mouth full as he chowed down on a plate of meat served to him. After Aang introduced himself as the Avatar to the village, they pretty much started treating the group like celebrities. "So good!"

"We are…glad you like it." The leader of Kyoshi Island, Oyaji, sweat dropped as he watched Luffy devour the plate of meat served to him. All the other members of the Straw Hat pirates were also served food, being preventing with a table filled with delicacy's and desserts, with Zoro also have a large mug of booze and Sokka grumbling in the corner. "I admit it was a surprise to hear that the Avatar is part of a pirate crew."

"Things just have a funny way of working out I suppose." Aang smiled as Momo reached a hand from under the table to steal some dessert for himself. "It was nice to see everyone so happy to see me though."

"What the hell was with that one guy who was foaming out the mouth?" Zoro asked after taking a swing of his mug. "Does he have rabis or something?"

"He…does that a lot. He should honestly see a doctor." Oyaji awkwardly cleared his throat before bowing to everyone in front of him. "Well enjoy the food! If you need anything just ask."

"More meat!" Luffy immediately asked after finishing his plate in less then a minute.

"Er, of course," Oyaji nodded while also questioning just how anyone could eat that much that fast and then ask for seconds.

As he left, Aang also went to showing down on the food presented to him, going for the dessert of course. "Mmmmmmm! This stuff is delicious!" Aang licked his lips as he handed Katara one of the treats on display. "Katara you've got to try this!"

"Well…I guess one couldn't hurt." Katara smiled as she took the dessert and decided to start eating as well. It was good…but she was beginning to think chocolate might have ended up making all other desserts seem not as good to her in comparison. "It is pretty good, although I gotta admit I am missing food from neutral territory."

"I'm missing booze from neutral territory too," Zoro complained after taking another sip of his drink. It wasn't bad but damn was it some of the weakest stuff he's ever had. "This might as well be a kiddie drink or something."

Meanwhile Aang looked over to the sad and saw Sokka sitting by himself with his arms crossed. "Sokka what's your problem?" Aang asked as Momo quickly snatched away the cupcake in his hand. "Eat!"

"I'm not hungry…" Sokka grumbled as he turned away from everyone.

"But other then Luffy you're the hungriest guy I know!" Aang yelled out in surprise as Luffy began eating more meat that was served to him. "What's up?"

"He's just being a baby about getting his ass handed to him by a girl," Zoro stated as he took another swing of his weak booze. "It's disgraceful, take your damn defeat with some dignity."

"S-Shut up!" Sokka shouted out the swordsman as he stood up and glared at him. "They snuck up on me! That hardly counts!"

"But they were able to sneak up on rest of too and only you and Katara got taken down," Luffy pointed out with his mouth full while pointing to Katara. Katara looked down as Luffy unintentionally called her out on getting easily taken out as well. "They just pulled your hoods over your faces. Hehehe, it was pretty stupid!"

At this Sokka just stopped out of the room mumbling something about showing those girls a lesson. Zoro simply rolled his eyes as he was about to take another swing of his drink until his eyes fell onto Katara and noticed the girls down casted expression. "Hey Katara," Katara snapped back into reality as Zoro called her name. "You ok?"

"O-Oh, uh, yeah I'm fine," Katara quickly looked away from Zoro as she messed with her hair a little. "Just daydreaming is all." Zoro didn't say anything, he knew Katara was lying but wasn't gonna press about it. At least not yet.

"What's he so angry about?" Aang asked with a confused look before putting on an excited smile. "It's great here. They're giving us the royal treatment!"

"Hey, don't get too comfortable." Katara told Aang as Momo reached up again and snatched more dessert. "It's risky for us to stay in one place for very long."

"I'm sure we'll be fine. Besides, did you see how happy I'm making this town?" Aang smiled as he gestured out the window where people were cleaning up a wooden statue of Avatar Kyoshi. "They're even cleaning up that statue in my honor!"

"Yeah it's fine Katara!" Luffy told the waterbender with a carefree smile. "Besides the foods amazing!"

"Well…it is nice to see you excited about being the Avatar." Katara smiled at seeing Aang, who previously stated about wishing he wasn't the Avatar, was now excited about that aspect of him. But she was still a bit worried. "I just hope it doesn't all go to your head."

"Come on, you know me better than that." Aang reassured Katara as he got up and leaned against the window to get a better look outside as well as breath in some nice fresh air. "I'm just a simple monk." But right after Aang said this, he looked down and saw a bunch of village girls waving and calling to him making the young monk blush and smile.

Katara simply rolled her eyes at the sight.

"I can't believe I was beat by a bunch of girls…" Sokka grumbled to himself as he headed towards where Oyaji told him the Kyoshi warriors were training. He had a wrong to fix. No way he, a strong warrior man, was defeated by a bunch of girls! It was impossible! Men were the strong ones, and woman were the ones who did all the home stuff, that's how life worked! The only reason he was taken down was because he was ambushed.

Aang, Zoro, and Luffy were able to handle the warriors as well! Then again…Aang was the Avatar and didn't even attack, and Luffy did have freakish devil fruit powers, and Zoro was just someone on a level he's never even see before. But still! He had to fix this and prove that he was easily stronger than them.

He soon approached on a small dojo and, peaking inside so no one saw him, saw the Kyoshi warriors doing some sort of dance with their fans, with Suki having a few bandages on her due to her minor injuries she got from her fight with Zoro. Preparing himself, Sokka put on a smug smile as he enters the dojo. "Sorry ladies," Sokka said in an incredibly condescending tone as the warriors looked towards him and closed their fans. "I didn't mean to interrupt your dance lesson, I was just looking for somewhere to get a little work out."

"Well, you're in the right place." Suki told Sokka as the water tribe boy did some stretches. "Sorry about yesterday. I didn't know that you were friends with the Avatar. Even if you all are in a pirate crew."

"Ah it's alright," Sokka told them as he repressed a mocking laugh. "I mean, normally I'd hold a grudge, but seeing as you guys are a bunch of girls, I'll make an exception."

"A bunch of girls huh?" Suki asked with narrowed eyes. She looked to her fellow warriors who all crossed their arms and smirks at her. So he was one of those guys huh? Oh they were gonna have some fun with this. "Well, I should certainly hope so. A big strong man like you? We wouldn't stand a chance."

"True," Sokka said smugly as he stopped stretching. "But don't feel bad. After all, I'm the best warrior in my village. I mean if you thought that Zoro guy was impressive then you should see me in action."

"Wow, best warrior huh?" Suki's voice was just leaking with sarcasm and yet Sokka didn't catch on one bit. "And even better then that swordsman? Well maybe you'd be kind enough to give us a little demonstration."

Sokka's eyes widened a bit. He…wasn't expecting that sort of request. "Oh...Well...I mean...I…" Sokka didn't know how to respond. He thought he would just up the manliness and the girls would just nod and agree…not this.

Suki was just enjoying Sokka's little manly façade immediately fall apart, but still, she wanted to see him squirm a little more. "Come on ladies," Suki turned to her fellow Kyoshi warriors to have them help her put Sokka in a corner. "Wouldn't you like him to show us some moves?" All the warriors giggled and nodded in agreement, causing Sokka to gulp a bit.

"Well, if that's what you want, I'd be happy to." Ok this was a little bump but Sokka could easily handle it. He'd just hold back a little to not hurt. He was sure Zoro did the same thing…right? He then put his hands on Suki to try and push her a back a bit but she didn't even budge a little. "All right, you stand over there. Now, this may be a little tough, but try to block me." Sokka then backed up a bit before charging at Suki with his first reared back, but the Kyoshi warrior easily blocks by jabbing Sokka's shoulder with her closed fan making his cry out in pain and stagger backwards. "Aw! Heh-heh...Good. Of course, I was going easy on you."

"Of course," Suki said with an amused smirk.

Sokka growled a bit in annoyance at Suki's face and tone as he got ready to attack again. "Well let's see if you can handle this!" Sokka then attempted to strike her with a roundhouse kick but Suki easily dodged and then pushed Sokka off balance making him land flat on his back. Suki let out a fake yawn before opening up her fan and lightly fanning herself. Seeing this finally made Sokka lose his temper as he stands up again.

"That's it!" Sokka yelled as he ran towards Suki again. But she easily catches him by the arm and starts spinning him around. After a few spins she switches direction, she then came to a sudden stop as she loosened his belt and uses it to tie his left hand and right foot together before releasing him.

All the girls watched as Sokka helpless bounced around a few times before landing flat on his face. "Anything else you want to teach us?" Suki asked mockingly as all the warriors laughed at him, causing Sokka to blush in utter humiliation.

THAT NIGHT

"Tch, simple monk my butt," Katara said in frustration as she kicked some sand around. Katara was unable to sleep, pretty much all day she watched as Aang hung around all the girls of Kyoshi village. She knew this would happen, the celebrity status just went to his head. He wouldn't even help her carry the supplies she was getting earlier! Her brother was who knows where and she couldn't trust Luffy to help her carry around food. Luckily Zoro was there to lend some help but it still irritated her to see Aang like that.

So due to all that she found it rather hard to sleep and thought she would try practicing her waterbending. "Ok Katara…you can do this." Katara remembered her time back at the Marine Base town where she froze Captain Morgan's face. She…honestly had no idea how she did that. So know she was gonna work on trying to recreate it. "Come on…Come on…" Lowering her hands, she slowly rose them up as she struggled to bring some water up from the sea.

After successfully getting some water out, Katara thrusted her hands forward and shot the water towards a nearby rock…and splashed it with non-freezing water. "What? Ugh come on!" Stomping her foot in frustration Katara began to repeat the process.

Splash!

Again.

Splash!

And again.

Splash!

And again…

Splash!

And once again...

"UGH!" Katara kicked some sand around in frustration. "Why can't I do it again!"

"So this is what you've been up too." Katara let out a small eep in fright before looking behind her to see Zoro leaning against a rock, looking right at her. "Thought you'd be here."

"Z-Zoro…" Katara looked away as she blushed in embarrassment. "How…um…how much did you see?"

"…What's going on with you?" Zoro asked in a serious tone as he looked at Katara right in eye. "You've been acting weird all day, and it can't just because Aang's getting a big head, so what's up?"

"…" Katara let out a sigh. Well…she might as well come clean. "So…remember when Sokka was talking about girls not really being good at fighting and such?" Zoro nodded his head, silently urging Katara to get to the point. "I guess…a part of me thought what he said was true…"

"Huh?" Zoro's eyes widened a bit in surprise. He honestly wasn't expecting that.

Katara let out a sigh as she sat down on the sand and curled herself into a ball. "I mean…look at me, I can hardy do anything." Katara lowered her head as she explained her insecurities to Zoro. "I'm not exactly that strong, and I can barley do waterbending. Heck when I froze that Morgan guys head, that was just a fluke. I had no clue how I did that! And so far all I've been able to do is watch. I just…I've just been feeling kinda useless…"

"…I see," Zoro lowered his after Katara finished telling him everything.

'You're lucky Zoro. Being born as a man.'

'When girls grow up it's natural for us to be weaker than men.'

'If only…I'd just been born a man…'

Zoro then stood up and turned his back to Katara and started walking away. "H-Hey," Katara called out to the swordsman as she stood up. "Where are you-"

"First thing in the morning," Zoro told her, cutting off the waterbender. "Meet me here. Don't be late."

"Um…ok…" Katara agreed, but before she could ask why Zoro left leaving whatever would happen tomorrow morning a complete mystery.

THE NEXT MORNING

"So…what did you want me out here for?" Just like Zoro told her, Katara came to the beach first thing in the morning. Thank goodness she was normally an early riser or she would be dead tired right now. After waking up she simply got dressed and headed to the beach, deciding breakfast can wait until after hearing what Zoro wanted. Sure enough, the swordsman was waiting for her sitting on a medium sized boulder with ropes tied around it for some reason. "And what's with the boulder?"

"You said you wanted to get stronger right?" Zoro asked her while looking down at the water tribe girl. After getting to know the waterbender Zoro couldn't deny, she was similar to her in so many ways. Katara nodded her head as Zoro jumped down and grabbed her wrist and pulled her in front of the boulder. "Strap this on." Before she could response Zoro proceeded to tie the end of the rope around her waist rather tightly. "Now run a lap around the entire main part of the island."

"Wait…with the boulder strapped to me?!" Katara looked at Zoro like he was completely crazy. This thing must have weighed 300 pounds at the very least! There was no way she could go an entire lap around the whole island like this! "You're kidding right?!"

"No." Zoro said seriously while narrowing his eyes at Katara, making her flinch. "You said you wanted to get stronger right? Well getting stronger ain't easy, you want that then you have to work your ass for it. Now get started already, I know you didn't eat breakfast before coming here. So the sooner you complete your lap the sooner you can eat."

Katara paled a bit, a part of her regretting that she agreed to come out here now. She was gonna be in pain by the end of this. "O-Ok…" Knowing there was no backing out of this now, Katara faced forward and grunted heavily as she tried to pull the boulder and move. "Grrrrrrr…" Gritting her teeth, Katara dug her feet into the sand and tried to pull the boulder, but it didn't even budge.

Zoro watched her struggle for a bit before getting up. "If this keeps up then you won't be eating until tomorrow night." Zoro said in a harsh tone make Zoro glare at him. "If that's the case then you can forget about getting stronger."

"What?!" Katara yelled as she glared at Zoro as he got up and walked away. No…No way…she was gonna get stronger! If she can deal with helping her Gran-Gran take care of her village, and even harder, taking care of her older brother then she can pull some stupid rock around an island! "I'll…show…you…!" Suddenly, in a burst of surprising strength, Katara pulled as hard as she could and actually managed to move the boulder! It was only about an inch, but she was doing it.

"Come…on! Come…on!" Katara repeated as she managed to the pull the boulder one inch at a time. As he was walking away, Zoro glanced to the scene with a small smirk on his face.

She really was just like Kuina.

A little later in the day Sokka was seen heading back to the dojo where the warriors were…but with a much different mindset. After getting his butt handed to him by Suki it…made him question a few things as he was laying in bed last night. And…he had to make things right.

"Uh…" Sokka let out timidly as he entered the dojo, making all the warriors turn to him with hostile stares. "Hey, Suki…"

"Here for another dance lesson?" Suki asked with a threatening tone. Didn't this sexist jerk learn his lesson yesterday?

"No…" Sokka shook his head, finding it difficult to form the words. "I...well, let me explain."

"Spit out it!" Suki yelled impatiently. "What do you want?"

Sokka flinched in response, but then lowered his head and went onto his knees and bowed his head humbly to the warrior in front of him. "I would be honored if you would teach me." After meeting the likes of Luffy, Aang, Zuko, Morgan, the marines, and now Suki, Sokka realized one thing. He has a lot to learn when it comes to be a warrior.

Suki narrowed her eyes at Sokka, trying to see if this was part of some scheme or trick. "Even if I'm a girl?"

"I'm sorry if I insulted you earlier." Sokka gave the sincerest apology he could, looking Suki right in the eye to show he was serious. "I was…wrong."

Suki crossed her arms and looked over Sokka. He seemed to speak the truth, but she still wanted to make sure before she made her final decision. "We normally don't teach outsiders, let alone boys."

"Please make an exception," Sokka pleaded to her as he bowed once again. "I won't let you down."

Suki glared at Sokka for a few more seconds…but putting on a friendly smile. He seemed to have learned his lesson from yesterday, so it couldn't hurt to give him a chance. "Alright," She nodded her head before turning to her fellow warriors and seeing what they thought. They all smiled and nodded their head at Suki, agreeing to give the guy a chance. "But you have to follow all of our traditions."

"Of course!" Sokka grinned excitedly as he stood up and nodded his head rapidly.

Suki's grin then turned to one of amusement.

And so one make over later…Sokka was dressed exactly like a Kyoshi warrior. Including the face paint. "Do I have to wear this?" Sokka asked with a blush as all the warriors looked at him and giggled. "It feels a little…girly."

"It's a warrior's uniform, you should be proud." Suki told him with an amused grin. While it was true what she said…it was still funny seeing a boy wearing them. "The silk threads symbolize the brave blood that flows through our veins. The gold insignia represents the honor of the warrior's heart."

"Bravery and honor." Sokka seemed to lose his embarrassment and stuck out his chest in pride.

Right as this was happening Luffy came into the dojo looking around. "Hey Aang you in here!" Sokka flinched as he turned around him and his captain met eyes. Sokka sweat nervously, oh great now Luffy was gonna tell everyone about this and no way they'd let him forget it. "Hey…" Luffy spoke up as he pointed to Sokka. "Have you seen Aang anywhere ugly lady?"

"WHAT?!" Sokka yelled in disbelief as Suki quickly covered her mouth to keep herself from bursting out in laughter. "UGLY LADY?!"

"Yeah you," Luffy nodded as he continued to point and stare at Sokka, unaware that it was Sokka at all. "Have you seen Aang anywhere? I can't seem to find him. Zoro says he'd doing something with Katara and I'm pretty Sokka's still crying about getting his ass kicked."

"Grrrrr…" Sokka growled as Suki struggled even more to hold in her laughter. Sokka then used a fan to cover the lower half of his face and spoke in a high-pitched feminine voice. "No, no, I haven't seen your friend anywhere maybe he's in town somewhere getting something to eat or…something."

"Oh yeah that makes sense! I could go for a bite myself too!" Luffy seemed to accept this answer and smiled at Sokka before waving to him. "Thanks for your help ugly lady!"

"Yeah sure whatever…" Sokka gritted through his teeth as Luffy left. Turning, he saw Suki clenching her stomach with one hand and covering her mouth with the other. Tears threatening to escape her eyes and her cheeks puffed out. "Yeah, yeah, go ahead and laugh."

And so Suki did. Very hard. "PFFFFT AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Suki laughed harder than she ever has her entire laugh, tears of laughter leaking out her eyes as she ended up falling onto her back while clenching her stomach. "HAHAHAHAHA! IT HURTS! HAHAHA! IT HURTS TO LAUGH THIS HARD! AHAHAHA!"

"Can we just start the training already?!" Sokka yelled while stomping his foot around.

"Huff…huff…huff…" Katara felt like she was in hell right now. Her entire body was sore, she could barely feel her legs, she was honestly surprised she was still walking right now, and she had wrapped her coat around her waist and was sweating through her normal cloths. But still, somehow, someway, she wasn't giving up. She continued to drag that boulder Zoro tied her too around the main part of the island and was finally making it back to the beach she started at. "Almost…there…just…a…little…further…"

And so Katara pulled…

And pulled…

And pulled…

And pulled…

"Ugh…" Katara made it to the spot she started at, and finally collapsed. Her whole body was sore, aching, and felt like it was on fire. But despite this she smiled as she breathed heavier than she ever has before. I…did it…I actually…did it…"

"You sure did." And waiting for her while leaning against a rock was Zoro got gave the waterbender a small smirk. "Not bad at all Katara," Using one of his sword, Zoro cut off the rope connecting Katara to the boulder before pushing over a tray of food and a bottle of water over to her. Despite being exhausted Katara was driven by hunger to quickly start eating up. She didn't care if she would look like her brother in Luffy in the process, she was freaking starving! "You're well on your way to toughening up. But don't think for a second that this is all it takes, if you're really dedicated to getting stronger then prepare for a lot more days of hell."

Normally Katara would have paled at these words but after the day she just went through, she felt like she could handle it. "Alright then," She mumbled after swallowing down some food. "So, what time is it exactly?"

"About 5 PM," Zoro answered her, nearly making Katara do a spit take in response. "Only 11 hours, made some good time."

"Y-Yeah…right…" Katara blinked a few times in surprise. Geez she really lost track of time. But that was pretty understandable seeing as how she was solely focused on dragging around a large boulder. "Hey Zoro…thanks a lot for helping me but, what made you wanna do it exactly?"

"…Remember how I said the greatest warrior I ever knew was a girl?" Zoro asked Katara as he looked into her eyes. "Well you remind me a lot of her. She also wanted to become the worlds greatest swordsman, but was told she couldn't because she was a girl. I didn't want you have that same mindset as well."

"Oh, w-wow," Katara blinked a bit in surprise. She wasn't expecting that at all. It was kind of flattering really that she reminded Zoro of this person. "What was she like."

"Her name was Kuina," Zoro began explaining as Katara quietly listened while munching down on her food. "I met her 11 years ago at a dojo in Shimotsuki village. I showed up and challenged everyone there to a fight, and I beat them. But then Kuina, the daughter of the dojo's master, showed up and kicked my ass easily. After that I stayed until I was strong enough to beat her."

"So how long did it take you to beat her?" Katara asked curiously.

"I didn't," Zoro revealed surprising Katara quite a bit. After seeing Zoro in action and how tough and strong he was, she was sure he could take on anyone easily. "I challenged her 2001 times…and lost every single one. After that 2001st fight, she told me she shared the same dream as me but couldn't do it because she was born a girl. So I told her to cut it with that crap and made her make a promise, that one day one of us would be the world's strongest swordsman."

"She sounds amazing," Katara whispered with an amazed tone and look. Zoro seriously fought her that many times and didn't win a single one? Katara wondered how much stronger she was now. "So where is she now? Do you know?"

"…She's dead…" Katara froze as Zoro revealed that to her. The swordsman lowered his head, his eyes completely shadowed as she brought up one of his swords to her, the one in the white sheath. "She died the day after we made that promise, and so I begged her father to pass on her sword to me. I vowed that I would be strong enough so that my name reached the heavens, so that way she would know I achieved my goal."

"…She'd be proud of you, I know that." Katara told him with a warm smile and tone. Zoro was silent, but couldn't stop a small smirk from appearing on his face. Katara then drank the rest of her water before standing up with a grunt, her legs shaky but she could take it. "So, what's next?"

"Well nothing for now, you're just starting out so you shouldn't take things too hard," Zoro instructed her, causing a sweat drop to form on Katara's head. So a 300 pound boulder was taking it easy huh? Zoro then pulled out a bag and dropped it in front of Katara, making a small thud as it landed. "Just put these on and we'll continue your training tomorrow."

"What are they?" Katara reached into the bag and pulled out some sort of weight. "Woah, what are these?"

"They're training weights." Zoro explained to her with crossed arms. "It was pretty lucky that they sold some here, they're on the light side but all of those combined should weigh about half as much as the boulder you were carrying around. Just attached them to your arms and legs."

"Great…so more heavy lifting…" Katara let out a sigh, but smiled as she began to attached them to her body. She grunted as she felt their weight be added to her, but she pulled through it. "Ok…this is gonna take some getting used to…"

"We'll look for some heavier ones the next time he hit a neutral town," Zoro said to her, making the waterbender flinch a bit. Ok…maybe he was trying to kill her. "When you get used to them, we'll move you up to something heavier." Katara nodded her head as she started stretching her body out to get herself a bit used to the weights; however, it was the weights that made the stretching a bit difficult.

Zoro and Katara then heard some people talking and looked to the far end of the beach and saw a bunch of the young girls from the village walking down the path leading to the village. Looking in the other direction, both of them saw Aang swimming out in the water with Momo on the edge of the beach looking at him. "Tch, what's he up to this time?" Zoro asked in an annoyed tone. He's honestly had it up to her with Aang's little celebrity act. "Getting real sick of that big head he's got since we showed up, come on let's get him and we're heading off this island."

"Yeah, sounds good." Katara nodded her head as they both went over to the part of the beach Momo was on. "Hey Aang! What are you doing out there?!"

Aang looked up as he heard Katara call out to him and looked to see her and Zoro on the beach looking at him. "Katara! Zoro!" Aang smiled as he called back to them. "You guys are here! Where have you been?!"

"I'll tell you later!" Katara yelled back to him. "But what are you doing?!"

"Um, well…" Aang averted his gaze, a bit embarrassed to explain this to them. "I was gonna try and ride the Unaji to impress those girls…"

Katara's eyes widened as Zoro put on an annoyed expression. "Are you freaking serious kid?! You were gonna mess with that sea king just to impress your stupid fan club?!" Aang flinched as Zoro yelled at him. "Alright kid swim back here before it shows up, we're getting Luffy and Sokka and we're leaving this island!"

"Ok, I'm coming back!" Aang yelled back in a shameful tone. "And look, I'm sorry about that ok! I did let all that attention go to my head. I was being a jerk."

Zoro kept a hardened expression as Katara gave Aang a small smile and sigh. "It's alright Aang," Katara called to him. "Just swim back here before you catch a cold you jerk!"

Aang smiled and started to swim back…but right as he did a giant dorsal fin appeared out of the water behind him. Katara and Zoro gasped as they saw the Unaji approaching Aang with the airbender completely oblivious to what was quickly approaching. But Aang would quickly figure it out as a wave swept him away and lifted him out of the water. Aang screamed in panic as he soon found himself sitting on the Unaji itself as it lifted its head out of the water, revealing itself to be a gigantic eel-like creature.

The Unaji let out a roar as it spat out a powerful jet of water before letting out a water. It tossed Aang off its head and tried to catch the Avatar in his mouth but Aang managed to grab one of its whiskers and avoid being eaten. "Hang on Aang!" Katara called out to him in concern as Zoro went for is swords. But before he could try anything…

"HEEEEEEEEYYY!" A very familiar voice shouted as they saw someone running towards the beach, leaving a trailer of dust behind. "Gum-Gum Rocket!" Stretching his arms out to two rocks on the beach, Luffy used those to launch himself right at the Unaji, an enraged look on his face as he reared his fist back. "Gum-Gum Pistol!" Luffy then stretched his arm and punched the Unaji right in the face.

"W-W-W-Woah!" Aang let out as he let go of the Unaji as Luffy went it down and back into the water with a single punch. Luffy then stretched his other arm out to grab Aang and then then stretched the arm he punched the Unaji with to the rock back at shore and used it to get himself and Aang back to the shore safely. Luffy dropped Aang on his back, making the airbender let out a small grunt before he smiled sheepishly. "Thanks for that Luffy, I owe you one."

But Luffy didn't acknowledge Aang at all as he shouted towards the ocean. "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR STEALING MY DINNER YESTERDAY!" Luffy shouted towards the Unaji, getting sweat drops out of everyone present.

"He took it down with a single punch…" Katara let out with a completely shocked tone. "A sea king…"

"Seemed a bit on the smaller side of sea kings though," Zoro pointed out, less shocked then Katara but he was still impressed by what his captain just pulled off. "It was probably a runt." Zoro then shrugged of what just happened off walked up to Aang and-

WHAM!

"AH!" Aang let out as Zoro gave Aang a good knock to his bald noggin.

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING KID!?" Zoro yelled as loud as he could towards Aang, making the monk flinch as he held onto his head. "YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN YOURSELF EATEN KID! AND FOR WHAT?! JUST SO YOU CAN IMPRESS A FEW GIRLS! NEXT TIME THINK BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING!"

"Zoro that's enough!" Katara yelled as she glared at the swordsman. She agreed that Aang could use a good scolding but that was taking it a bit to far. "I'm sure Aang's learned his lesson now so just leave it be."

"I dunno that sounds pretty dumb to me," Luffy pointed out with a simple expression. Luffy can perfectly understand risking your life for a lot of stuff. Becoming King of the Pirates, taking down a bunch of jerk marines, meat, lots of stuff. But to impress girls, that was just stupid.

"No Katara, they're right." Aang lowered his head as he apologized again. "It won't happen again, I promise."

"It better not," Zoro warned him as he crossed his arms. "Now put your damn cloths back on, we gotta get Sokkka, pack up, and we're leaving."

"Yes sir," Aang nodded as he got back up.

"Wait, look." Katara's eyes widened as she looked past the shore and into the water…and at an incoming metal ship. "That ship…it's Zuko."

"What?" Aang gasped as he and everyone else looked to see the incoming ship.

"Zuko?" Luffy rose his brow as he tried to remember who exactly that was. "Oh right! That Scar Face guy!"

"Anyone wanna catch me up here?" Zoro asked with a raised brow. "Who the hell is Zuko?"

"He's someone from the fire nation who's after Aang." Katara said seriously as he looked up at Zoro. "He showed up at my village looking to capture him, Luffy was able to beat him but it looks like he ended up following us here."

"Fire nation huh? Heh, this should be fun." To Katara's surprise, Zoro smirked as he took his bandana off his arm and wrapped it around his head. "Been a while since I fought some fire nation bastards, feel up for a fight captain?"

"Heh, you bet." Luffy grinned excitedly as he started spinning his arm around. "let's get them!"

"I'm in too." Aang spoke up with a serious look on his face. "It's because of me that they're coming here, I'll stay and help defend the village. Katara, go into town and warn everyone and tell the Kyoshi Warriors about them."

"Right," Katara nodded with a serious look. Zoro looked down to Aang and gave him an approving nod as Katara ran as fast as she could towards the village. Even with her exhaustion over today's exercise and the weights on her, she continued running so that she could get the word. "Good luck everyone,"

"Alright everyone." Zoro said as he pulled two of his swords out. "Let's give em hell."

A few minutes later, the ship had arrived and pulled up to the shore. The front of the ship lowered and opened up. Luffy, Zoro, and Aang all stood their ground as they saw Zuko and his crew exit the ship riding Komodo Rhino's and approach them with more his crew following behind. "So, you save me the trouble of hunting you huh?" Zuko asked as he and Aang glared into each other's eyes. Zuko then looked to the side and moved his glare to Luffy. "So I see you're still with the rubber pirate,"

"Aang's part of my crew," Luffy said in a serious face as he looked Zuko right in the eye. "So if you're still trying to capture him then you can forget it scar face."

Zuko growled at Luffy before he looked to glare at Zoro. "And whose this?" Zuko demanded as Zoro narrowed his eyes at the scarred prince. "New friend of yours?"

"Yeah, you could say that," Zoro said as he pulled out his last sword and put the handle into this mouth. "So you're here to pick a fight punk?"

"I'm here for the Avatar." Zuko told them as he went back to glaring at Aang. "You won't escape me this time."

"We don't have to fight Zuko," Aang told Zuko as he gripped his staff tightly. "Leave this island peacefully and no one has to get hurt."

Zuko narrowed his eyes at the Avatar after he said that and point his finger at Aang. "Capture the Avatar alive!" Zuko ordered as his men started charging. "And take care of his little pirate crew!"

"I'll handle Zuko!" Aang told the two men next to him.

"Then leave his cronies to us." Zoro said as they all charged forward towards Zuko and his crew. The men on the komodo-rhino's, other than Zuko himself, went after Luffy, the men by themselves went after Zoro, and course Zuko went after Aang.

Zuko was quick to attack as he punched forward a few times and sent burst of fire towards Aang, but the Avatar countered using his airbending to disperse the flames before jumping up and kicking forward and sending a strong of wind that knock Zuko off his mount and onto his back. The prince recovered quickly by spinning kicking around and sending a wave of flames towards Aang that he was easily able to avoid leaping over it.

Zuko got back onto his feet by sending fire out of his hands to boost himself back up and running towards Aang where he tried to axe kick him while spreading fire around. Aang ducked out of the way as Zuko brought his foot back down with Aang jump back, using a burst of wind to give him a boost as well as send the prince back. Zuko then brought both of his hands together and thrusted them forward at Aang and launched a stream of fire at him.

Aang brought his staff forward and spun it around and created a small whirlwind that dispersed the stream of fire around him. Aang kept spinning his staff as he stepped forward and approached Zuko before jumping up and thrusting his staff forward and sending a strong gust of wind at Zuko and throwing him off stance and causing him to cease his attack. Aang then swiped his staff forward and created another gust of wind that sent Zuko to the ground once again.

With Luffy he grinned as the Komodo-rhino riders circle around them with their fist raised and ready to attack. "Hey how come you guys didn't bring these things out at the south pole?" Luffy asked as he stared at the animals with a grin. "They're cool looking!" The firebenders only responding by shooting flames at Luffy causing the pirate to jump out of the way.

Luffy landed on top of one of the Komodo-rhino's and punched its rider off before sitting in the saddle. "Let me try!" However the Komodo-rhino didn't exactly appreciate the new rider on it and that thrashing around wildly, trying to toss Luffy off. "W-Woah! Hey! Calm down!" Soon enough the Komodo-rhino started charging around aimless trying to get Luffy off him and ending up running and charging into all the other Komodo-rhino's and knocking their riders off and making the mounts are scatter around.

"Hahahahaha!" Luffy laughed as he jump off the rhino he was on and landed directly on top of one of the knocked off riders before rearing his arm back. "Gum-Gum Pistol!" Luffy then stretched his arm around and punch multiple firebenders in the face and knocking them down to the ground. As his arm retracted Luffy ducked in time as multiple firebenders tried to attack him with Luffy bringing his leg up and spin kicking the firebenders that were surrounding him.

"Don't you guys ever give up?" Luffy asked with a bored tone as he punch a punch and fire ball from another firebender before knocking him on the head and sending him down.

"So, seven against one huh?" Zoro grinned around the sword in his mouth as the firebenders started to circle and surround him. "Heh, I love those odds." It was Zoro who took the offense as he decided to show these fire bastards just what they were up against. "Three Sword Style – Oni Giri!" Crossing the two swords in his hand across his chest, Zoro preformed a diagonal crossing slash with the swords in his hand while doing a horizontal slash with the one in his mouth.

"GAH!" The firebender let out in pain as Zoro attacked the parts of his body his armor didn't cover, sending him to the ground as blood leaked out of him.

The firebenders around Zoro all gasped at the sight but before they could do anything Zoro struck again as he ran up to two more and slashed them each with one of the swords in his hand and sent them down just as easily. Another one of the firebenders tried jump from behind Zoro and punched forward and sent a fireball at the swords man.

But Zoro easily reached as he spun around and deflect the fireball with the sword in his mouth. Zoro then jumped towards the firebender and used the same sword to slash him and sent the bender down to the ground defeated. All that left was three firebenders who were all debating whether or not they should engaging. This guy just took down multiple soldiers in less then a minute!

But Zoro didn't give them much of a chance to think "Three Sword Style – Tatsu Maki!" Spinning all of his swords around Zoro proceeded enough force to create a dragon-like tornado that sent the three remaining firebenders as well as the one that were already down flying around.

"Grrrr!" Zuko growled as he was locked in a stalemate with Aang. The damn monk refused to attack and instead focused on dodging or blocking his attacks. Zuko brought his head forward and let out a roar and shot fire out of his mouth but Aang quickly formed a ball of air that he threw towards Zuko and dispersed his flames and hit him right in the face and sending him flying back in front of his ship. As Zuko got up again, he gasped as he looked at the state of his troops. Luffy and Zoro had easily handled all of the firebenders he had with him and, looking past Aang, he saw that reinforcements were on their way.

It pained him to do this and it was just another blow to his honor and pride, but he had no choice. "Everyone! Retreat!" Zuko nearly choked as the shameful words left his mouth. But his men were clearly happy to hear it as they quickly got up and headed back to the ship, some needing the help of others to run back to the ship.

"Hahahaha!" Luffy let out a mocking laugh as they watched Zuko and his men retreat. Zoro sheathed his swords and Aang sent one last glare to Zuko as he left.

And as the boat began to leave the island, the Kyoshi Warriors and Katara and Sokka caught up. "Aw they left already?" Sokka complained as he came up to the scene while still wearing the Kyoshi uniform and pain. "I didn't even get a chance to fight!"

"Sokka." Sokka flinched as he looked to see Aang and Zoro starring at him with amused looks. "Is that you?"

"Didn't realize you liked playing dress up." Zoro followed up, making Sokka growl a bit.

"S-Shut up!" Sokka yelled at them as Suki and Katara laughed.

Later on, the Straw Hat Pirates were getting ready to leave as they packed their stuff onto Appa. Aang, Katara, Luffy, and Zoro were already on Appa and getting ready to leave but Sokka just had one more thing to do. "So I guess this is goodbye huh?" Sokka, who was now wearing his normal cloths and had removed the face paint. "Thanks for everything again Suki."

"No problem," Suki smiled at Sokka before putting on an amused smile. "Gotta say I'm missing the face paint though, it looked good on you,"

"Oh ha ha," Sokka let out with the roll of his eyes as Suki giggle. Sokka then put a hand to his head as he frowned a little. "And look, I just wanna say…sorry again about earlier. I treated you like a girl when I should have treated you like a warrior."

Suki shook her head a bit as she put a hand on Sokka's cheek. "Dummy, I may be a warrior," To Sokka's surprise Suki leaned forward and planted a kiss on his cheek, making him go red. "But I'm also a girl too ya know. Now go on, I'm sure we'll see each other again sometime."

"Y-Yeah…sure…" Sokka let out dumbly as he held the spot Suki kissed and headed towards Appa.

Suki giggled a bit at his reaction before looking up at Appa, specifically at a certain green head. "And hey, swordsman," Suki called out with a challenging look, Zoro looked down at her in response. "Next time we meet, I want a rematch."

"Heh, you got it," Zoro nodded at her.

"Alright Appa, yip-yip!" Aang told his bison as Appa flew up into the air. Everyone from Kyoshi waved goodbye to them as the straw hats started their trip to the next island.

"Hey Zoro," Katara spoke up to the swordsman. "Thanks again for everything, I really appreciate it."

"Don't thank me yet," Zoro told her while looking the waterbender right in the eye. "Prepare yourself, your training's hardly even began."

"I look forward to it," Katara bowed towards Zoro, not a hint of fear in her voice as she wondered what other exercises the swordsman has planned for her.

And done!

That's right everyone, Katara's getting some training from the three style swordsman himself so she can toughen up!

I knew I wanted this since the beginning as I'm sure Katara would remind Zoro a lot of Kuina and this was the perfect way to both have that as well as have Katara get stronger quicker and even more so then in canon.

Like I said I have plans for making the Avatar characters truly on par with the OP ones and this is just the tip of the ice berg, believe me there's a lot more to come.

So make sure to favorite, follow, leave a review, and stay tuned for the next chapter...
